Climate fanatics: Wrong glue, right group

The climate fanatics of Last Generation have struck again. However, one of the men used too strong an adhesive and had to be cut free with his hand still fixed to a concrete slab.

After their actions in Berlin and Munich, their most recent protest action took place in Mainz. Four people glued themselves to the roadway on Binger Strasse, blocking one of the city’s busiest streets. The police removed three of the four fanatics.

The last one had become “so stuck that he could not be easily detached”. To do this, “the asphalt had to be cut loose by employees of the road traffic authority using a grinder and hammer drill and then removed,” the police said. The operation lasted more than two hours and could potentially have serious health consequences. The climate fanatic (38) could have lost his hand if the doctors had not managed to free his hand from the adhesive mass and asphalt.

A photo shared by Last Generation went viral on the internet. It shows the man with a chunk of asphalt attached to his hand. It is suspected that he had used the wrong glue – namely a particularly strong industrial glue. “Is the action set in stone now?” joked a Twitter user. Another user added: “Now I understand why you need your own courses for your adhesive campaigns”.

Only Last Generation fanatics avoid jail time

For six weeks, a woman has been in custody who spattered fake blood on a picture in a Berlin museum and glued herself to it. Her bad luck is that she does not belong to the Last Generation group.

The case has never made headlines, although it followed exactly the same pattern as the Last Generation’s crimes. A woman splashed fake blood on Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec’s painting at the Alte Nationalgalerie in Berlin on October 30. Then she glued herself to a wall next to the painting.

Since then she has been in prison. However, in cases in which the perpetrators belonged to the Last Generation, no pre-trial detention has even been imposed so far. The climate fanatics had also damaged works by famous painters in Berlin museums and glued themselves to the works.

The 53-year-old copycat has since been charged with property damage. The public prosecutor’s office justified her being detained by saying that she could not provide proof of a permanent address.

According to the Alter Nationalgalerie, which is located on Berlin’s Museum Island, the cost of cleaning and restoring the frame, parquet flooring and wall covering is at least 100 000 euros.

CO2 lies

The truth is that CO2 air content amounts to approximately 0,4 percent, which is primarily used by left-wing politicians as election propaganda and politically paid scientists who claim without any basis that CO2 is harmful to us, our environment and our planet.

Nobody points out however, that CO2 is important for photosynthesis, the biochemical process that occurs in plants, algae and some types of bacteria. From light, water (H2O) and carbon dioxide (CO2), plants produces glucose and oxygen (O2) which we need to survive.

A volcanic eruption like the one in Hawaii releases more toxins and CO2 into the atmosphere than humans have been able to produce in the last 120 years.

According to lawyers, dragging climate fanatics who block busy roads away is not punishable, since it falls under self-defence.
