The incident took place on October 10 at around 6 pm in the 9th arrondissement of Lyon. A 13-year-old girl was lured into the basement of a building after school by a “friend”. The friend pretended to want to charge her e-cigarette. The victim was then held captive and raped. Under applicable law, we are prohibited from publishing the first names of the victim and the alleged perpetrators (whose first names were incidentally published on this social network).
The victim, N., was attacked by three girls while a fourth girl videotaped the scene. The motive is said to have been as follows: N. allegedly said that she had been sexually abused by a man named Yassine. On that day, Yassine’s sister wanted to take revenge on N. with this punitive expedition.
A first girl slapped the victim very hard and called her a “dirty whore” before handing her over to the other girls, as can be seen on the video. The second veiled girl, probably Yassine’s sister, says to her “talk about my brother again” before raping her in an extremely brutal way, including by kneeing her in the head and trying to pull out her hair. In the face of this violence, the victim tries to stop the attack by saying several times: “I’m sorry” or “Please stop”. The victim then puts her phone away and explains that she is prepared to give money to make the violence stop. A young girl wearing an orange top uses the beatings against N. to steal her mobile phone.
The perpetrators then left the scene. After a brief period of unconsciousness, the victim managed to drag herself out of the cellar. She was then “rescued” by a group of boys who were apparently accomplices in this punitive expedition and tried to get her mobile phone back. A passer-by also came to the victim’s aid and called the fire brigade, who in turn called the police.
In the evening, the victim and her mother were taken to the Femme Mère Enfant hospital in Bron. Her parents live separately and it was her father who filed a complaint two days later together with his daughter. The perpetrators are currently being investigated.
