A few days after the knife attack in Würzburg, a man attacked two passers-by with a knife in Erfurt on Monday morning. The attacker then fled, the police said. The two victims are aged 45 and 68.
At first, the police could not give any information about the severity of the injuries. However, both were taken to hospital. A police helicopter was deployed to search for the fugitive.
According to the description, the perpetrator was between 20 and 30 years old, wore a brown jumper and dark sweatpants and had blond to reddish curly hair and a scarred face. Witnesses are asked to contact the police.
