The world of football is once again in the news for all the wrong reasons, with reports suggesting that Sadio Mane and Leroy Sane were involved in a heated altercation in the aftermath of Bayern Munich’s 3-0 defeat to Manchester City on Tuesday.

According to BILD, Mane is alleged to have struck Sane in the face during a dressing room argument that escalated from a verbal dispute the two players had on the pitch.

The incident reportedly left visible marks on Sane’s face and had to be broken up by other members of the team.

This is not the first time Mane has found himself in a heated argument in recent weeks.

The same outlet claimed that he had a disagreement with then-manager Julian Nagelsmann after being benched for the second leg of Bayern’s last-16 victory over Paris Saint-Germain.

It has been a challenging first season for Mane in Munich, who joined the club from Liverpool in a £35m deal last summer.

According to Mane’s cousin, Leroy Sané called Sadio Mané “Black sh*t”, which made the Senegalese react with anger. Sané regretted what he said after the clash. Mané apologized to his teammates for the incident. His future at Bayern is NOT in jeopardy.
