After several female guests complained about him, he was kicked out of the bar in Vienna’s Donaustadt district. But the Syrian did not give in that easily. He became aggressive in front of the bar and allegedly threatened a waiter with a knife. Afterwards he fled on foot.
In the course of an immediate manhunt, officers of the Vienna Emergency Operations Group (WEGA) managed to stop the migrant near the scene of the crime. A knife could not be seized.
