Islamist attack on the Christmas market in Strasbourg, France: memorial to the victims vandalised tonight

The memorial, which was erected in honour of the victims of the attack in Strasbourg and placed on the Place de la République, was vandalised on the night of November 4 to 5, 2024, as reported by BFMTV Alsace. The glass box protecting the monument was smashed. The stele had been erected a year after the attack on the Strasbourg Christmas market, in which five people were killed and eleven injured.
