The Catholic and Protestant churches in Zurich want to give a whopping two million francs of taxpayers’ money to Islamic organisations. What is supposed to be a gesture of goodwill is actually a financial injection for Islamisation. The gift of money means that the Swiss are involuntarily helping to finance the Islamic takeover of the country.
In Zurich, only recognised religious communities are entitled to state funding. These are currently three Christian and two Jewish communities. As the Protestant and Catholic churches seem to have a lot of money from tax contributions, they now want to make a gift of around two million francs to the “Association of Islamic Organisations Zurich” (VIOZ).
One staunch supporter of the project is the President of the Reformed Church Council and former Social Democrat Cantonal Councillor Esther Straub. She is campaigning and speaks of a sign of “interreligious cohesion”. Of course, this kind of concession is not found in Islamic countries with Christian minorities. The church uses it to distribute money to Islamic organisations, which have repeatedly attracted attention in Switzerland with their fanatical tendencies.
The former left-wing politician argues that the move is intended to fund decidedly non-radical and moderate Islamic organisations. The VIOZ operates around 90 per cent of the mosques in the canton of Zurich with over 40 facilities. There are also other associations. In addition to the three VIOZ facilities in Winterthur, there is also the “An nur Moschee”, which according to the security authorities is a real hotspot for jihadism. It is not clear how interlinked or separate the VIOZ is with such communities.

If Islamic communities in Switzerland need money, why on earth don’t the wealthy Islamic countries like Saudi Arabia dole it out. Christians need to stop behaving as if Jesus said his followers need to be suckers. He didn’t.
