A 15-year-old is said to have almost strangled his girlfriend, who was the same age, to death in a wooded area near Ulm. It has now emerged that the 15-year-old suspect is the son of the Serb who stabbed his 7-year-old stepdaughter to death in a school playground on Easter Monday.
The teenager called the emergency services on Thursday night and said: “I killed my girlfriend”, according to the public prosecutor’s office and the police. The lifeless 15-year-old was then found in a forest and taken to hospital, where they are still fighting for her life. The teenager’s state of health was “extremely critical” on Friday morning, according to the authorities.
The suspect was arrested on the spot and is in custody.
As the newspaper Bild now reports, the suspect is the son of the Serb who stabbed his 7-year-old daughter to death in the name of Allah next to a school centre on Easter Monday 2023. In November, the Ulm district court declared the Serb to be unfit to stand trial and committed him permanently to a psychiatric ward. According to broadcaster SWR, the father said in court that he had studied religion and the Quran a lot. “At some point, I realised that I had to sacrifice one of my children for God,” he is said to have stated about his motive.
His son’s motive is still unclear. It is also unclear whether his 15-year-old victim, with whom he posed on TikTok videos just a few days ago, will survive.
