Germany Tries Syrian for ‘Crimes Against Humanity’ and 70 Murders

Higher Regional Court in Koblenz. Oberlandesgericht Koblenz – Google Maps

A 48-year-old Syrian man appeared in court Monday before the Higher Regional Court in Koblenz, Germany, facing charges of crimes against humanity and for the torture and deaths of 70 prisoners in Damascus.

German authorities arrested the suspect in late May 2025 in the southwestern city of Pirmasens. He has remained in pretrial detention since then, awaiting the start of proceedings, according to local media reports.

Prosecutors allege the man, called “Fahad A” in some documents, served as a guard at the “Khatib Branch” detention facility in Damascus, operated by the Assad regime’s General Intelligence Directorate.

The indictment states that his service lasted from late April 2011 to mid-April 2012, a period marked by widespread unrest. The Syrian revolution began in March 2011 and quickly escalated as government forces responded with force, leading to mass arrests and allegations of systematic abuse.

According to prosecutors, the defendant took part in over 100 interrogations during his time at the facility. Detainees subjected to these interrogations reportedly endured severe physical abuse. The indictment also links the detention conditions and alleged mistreatment to the deaths of at least 70 prisoners during the period in question.

Prosecutors argue that the conditions inside the facility contributed directly to those deaths. The court has not yet determined the defendant’s guilt, and proceedings are expected to examine witness testimony and documentary evidence related to the alleged acts.

Authorities say the suspect entered Germany in 2023. Investigators later identified him as part of Syria’s security apparatus, similar to defendants in earlier cases brought before German courts. If convicted, he could face a lengthy prison sentence.

The case reflects Germany’s application of universal jurisdiction, which allows national courts to prosecute serious international crimes regardless of where they occurred. This trial marks the third case of its kind heard in Koblenz, where courts have previously addressed allegations of torture and abuse tied to the Assad regime.

German prosecutors have pursued several such cases in recent years, focusing on violations taken during the early stages of the Syrian conflict. The proceedings form part of broader international efforts to document alleged abuses and seek accountability through legal channels.

WATCH: Charges dropped against elderly Scottish pro-lifer for holding sign in abortion ‘buffer zone’

75-year-old Rose Docherty is confronted by police outside the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, Scotland. ADF International

On Monday a judge dropped charges against Scottish grandmother Rose Docherty, who was arrested a second time in September for offering conversation about abortion in a hospital “buffer zone.”

Docherty, 75, was charged for holding a sign within 200 meters of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital that read, “Coercion is a crime, here to talk, only if you want.”

In 2024 the Scottish legislature passed a law establishing 200-meter-wide “buffer zones” surrounding all facilities that provide abortions, including hospitals, forbidding harassment, intimidation, and “influencing” of anyone seeking to access abortion services.

The law prohibits behavior considered likely to “influence someone’s private decision to use abortion services, prevent or get in the way of someone using abortion services (or) harass or distress someone trying to use abortion services.”

Following her September arrest, the 75-year-old grandmother was held in custody for several hours. She was refused a chair to sit on in her cell, despite making it known that she had a double hip replacement.

“Simply for being available for the lonely, for the afraid, and for the coerced, I have been treated like a violent criminal,” Docherty said in a statement outside court following her legal victory.

“But thankfully today the charges have been dismissed. The judge ruled that the charges were irrelevant and that they were a breach of my Article 10 free speech rights,” she said.

It is unclear whether the judge dismissed the case on a free speech basis. During an April 20 hearing, the Crown “admitted that the presence of another individual within the zone who was accessing, providing or facilitating the provision of abortion services was an essential ingredient of the offence and, remarkably, conceded that they were still making enquiries as to how many people, if any, were influenced by Rose’s conduct within the zone,” according to ADF International, which was responsible for coordinating Docherty’s legal defense.

ADF International reported that the Procurator Fiscal had “dismissed the case pro loco et tempore, meaning the matter can be brought back should prosecutors bring improved evidence and decide that a prosecution continues to be in the public interest.”

Docherty is the first person to be criminally charged under Scotland’s 2024 “buffer zone” law.

Docherty’s arrest sparked international condemnation, including from the U.S. State Department, which called her arrest “another egregious example of the tyrannical suppression of free speech happening across Europe.”

“When 75-year-old grandmothers are being arrested for standing peacefully and offering conversation, common sense and basic civility are under attack.”

In August, all charges were dropped against Docherty after she was arrested for the first time in February 2025 for standing silently outside Queen Elizabeth University Hospital holding a sign with the same message: “Coercion is a crime, here to talk, only if you want.”

The arrest came just days after U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance condemned the British government’s 2022 arrest of pro-lifer Adam Smith-Connor for silently praying outside an abortion facility under a similar buffer law, and the Scottish government for “distributing letters to citizens whose houses lay within so-called ‘safe access zones’ warning them that even private prayer within their own homes may amount to breaking the law.”

Scottish officials “said no letters had been sent out saying people couldn’t pray in their homes,” according to the BBC. However, LifeSite has a screenshot of one such letter that states “activities in a private place (such as a house) within the area between the protected premises and the boundary of a Zone could be an offence if they can be seen or heard within the Zone and are done intentionally or recklessly.”

When footage of Docherty’s arrest emerged, the behavior of the police officers was slammed as “shameful” and a “disgrace.”

Asked by BBC Scotland News if she would return to hold a sign outside the hospital, Docherty said, “Life moves on for people and I’ll make decisions as and when I feel like I want to do something, but I don’t feel that I’m constrained by being afraid.”

Is the music nearly over in Germany?

Medforth AI

by Eric Utter

Germany’s chancellor, Friedrich Merz, recently stated of President Trump and the United States, “An entire nation is being humiliated by the Iranian leadership, especially by these so-called Revolutionary Guards. And so I hope that this ends as quickly as possible.”

I myself have questioned Trump’s endgame strategy, insofar as Iran’s leadership, such as it is, is simply never going to negotiate in good faith.

Even if an agreement is reached  with Iran in the wake of U.S.-Israel military action, whatever it may be, Iran will not honor it.

However, if its nuclear program is significantly disrupted and set back, and the rest of its military greatly degraded … and therefore its sponsorship of various terrorist groups greatly curtailed, we can legitimately call it a win and go on with life.

Once proud Germany, on the other hand, is embarrassing itself with great repetitiveness of late. Unwilling to take the side of the Americans against the world’s premier sponsor of terrorism, its leaders preside over a flagging military, sagging economy, ever-growing antisemitism, and French-like ennui.

Worse, the nation is allowing itself to be invaded by hordes of military-aged men from North Africa and the Middle East. And, like much of the rest of Western Europe, it is therefore getting summarily destroyed — economically, culturally, and morally.

To wit: a recent report out of Germany, and a post on ‘X’ citing it, seemed to indicate that a Hamburg public school system may have banned music lessons because the growing population of Muslims there consider them “haram,” or forbidden.

“Factchecking” websites were quick to debunk the story.

For example, leadstories.com claimed that the German news report was really about a joint statement against intolerance and exclusion and that “the Hamburg public schools did no such thing.” The site essentially labeled the story, or the translation of the German used by the reporter, as fake news.

Yet these accounts go on to state that there have been reported incidents where some Muslim students refused to participate in music classes. And that there have been incidents where girls were “harassed” by Muslim students in various schools.

Hamburger Abendblatt, Hamburg’s local newspaper, recently reported on allegations that Muslim students had threatened or insulted classmates and added that there is occasionally some “religious pressure” regarding clothing and behavior. Moreover, a few Muslim students may have been guilty of a few isolated assaults, mostly on German girls, and a handful of students may have been prevented from attending music lessons because, well, they are haram.

Duh.

But the Islamo-apologists duly note that school officials say none of these incidents will be tolerated … whether perpetrated by Christians, Jews, Hindus, Sikhs, or even Muslims. And they also solemnly note that there is no proof that German authorities have banned music lessons out of fear of being seen as Islamophobic.

Wait, I thought that this absolutely, unequivocably did not take place. Couldn’t take place. Could never occur. Preposterous in the extreme. That German schools are humming, vibrating, thrumming, and throbbing with music like never before! But have Christians, Jews, Hindus, and Sikhs ever tried to get music banned?

So there’s been some sexual harassment here, a handful of rapes there, and a bit of pressure to ban musical instruction to go along with increasing animus against dogs, alcohol … and Jews. On balance, not a good look for the erstwhile Fatherland.

Germany produced far more than its share of great composers: Bach, Handel, Telemann, Beethoven, Brahms, Mendelssohn, Schubert, Strauss, Wagner, and the list goes on. (Not to mention Engelbert Humperdinck or Nena!) To see its rapid cultural degradation and loss of identity is honestly heartbreaking, even from the perspective of a nation that twice defeated it in war.

To quote the German band After the Fire:

Don’t turn around,
Der Kommissar’s in town,
He’s got the power
And you’re so weak
And your toleration will not let you speak

Kind of odd that Muslims are now being allowed to act the part of Der Kommisar in Deutschland. But it’s the toleration stupid. And the fact that you’re so weak … ja’?

Or, as The Doors wrote:

When the music’s over,
Turn out the lights.

Let’s hope the music’s not over soon, but the lights are flickering and dimming in Western Europe, the music skipping beats. Can Europe yet save itself? Doubtful. If it does? Cue “Ode to Joy.”

Terror Attack Plans In Germany As Berlin Insists Immigration Is Under Control

…planned to kill “as many Germans and Jews as possible”
Medforth AI

German media reports that a 22-year-old Syrian national has admitted before the Berlin Regional Court that he planned to kill “as many Germans and Jews as possible” through knife attacks and a bombing.

He had arrived in Germany at the end of 2023 as a refugee. Less than fifteen months later, according to the prosecution, he had already decided to carry out an attack in the name of Islam.

He was arrested in November while in an advanced stage of preparation. He had acquired materials to build an explosive belt and had conducted some initial tests.

During the trial, he described a process of progressive radicalization: consumption of Islamic State propaganda on social media, contacts in chats to learn how to build bombs, and a drift toward the idea of martyrdom. “I got my ideas from ISIS,” he said.

The case fits a pattern that European security services have been warning about for some time: accelerated radicalization in digital environments, often occurring after arrival in the host country. It is not a trajectory imported in full, but one developed within the European ecosystem itself. In other words, radicalization occurs once they are already here.

At the same time, German authorities warn of a deterioration in the security environment. The Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution has highlighted the activity of the group Harakat Aschab al-Yamin al-Islamiya (Hayi). The group has claimed several arson attacks against Jewish and U.S. targets in Europe and has hinted at a possible shift toward more lethal methods.

This coincides with the German government attempting to establish a different narrative. Chancellor Friedrich Merz has recently argued that migration policy has turned a corner and that “large parts of the problem are resolved.” The data partially supports that claim: after a peak of more than 745,000 asylum applications in 2016, Germany recorded around 170,000 in 2025, with roughly 33,000 in the first quarter of the current year.  However, as Alice Weidel pointed out in her tweet, this is in many ways an eyewash. Weidel said Merz calling the projected 170,000 asylum applications in 2025 “and the exploding number of subsequent applications this year ‘problem solved.’ Denial of reality and wishful thinking are the hallmarks of the CDU/CSU-SPD coalition.”

In fact, while the reduction is undoubtedly striking, it does not alter the outcome in the long run. The volume remains high in historical terms and, above all, shifts the focus to a different phase of the process: post-arrival management. What conditions lead a person to arrive as a refugee and become a terrorist?

That is the real question. The case of the young Syrian does not in itself challenge the entire system, but it does point to a grey area: the ability to anticipate radicalization processes within the country itself. The digital element is key.

On the other hand, since 2015, Syrian nationals have been the main group of refugees in Germany. Integration has not been uniform, with rising employment rates in some segments, but also pockets of social and educational vulnerability. In that context, security services have insisted that risks are not evenly distributed, but rather concentrated in very specific profiles.

Public policy, however, operates within a complex balance. On the one hand, the government highlights the reduction in arrivals and its capacity for border control. On the other, it maintains commitments to international protection and integration programs.

A separate issue is the perception of security.

Germany, as the main country of reception over the past decade, functions in this sense as a European laboratory. What happens in its model—in terms of integration, prevention, and response—will shape the room for manoeuvre of other member states.

14 terrifying cases of migrants raping elderly women in France, French journalist calls it a ‘shocking pattern’ that happens ‘again and again’: “In the case of rapes of elderly women, it is almost always young foreigners”

Medforth AI

A French journalist and columnist, Charlotte d’Ornellas, says there is a shocking pattern of foreigners raping elderly women in France. Over the years, Remix News has documented some of the most terrifying of these cases.

D’Ornellas’ comment came after an especially brutal rape earlier this month involving a Moroccan migrant who was arrested for raping and torturing a 74-year-old woman in Romainville with a telescopic baton.

“It’s beyond belief, in fact. Obviously, the age of a rape victim doesn’t change the horror much, but there’s something here. You know, the ultimate taboo. She’s raped, a 74-year-old woman, it’s unimaginable. And it happens again and again,” said d’Ornellas during an appearance on French television network CNews. “Our job is to bear witness to reality. And that’s why some people are at war with us. They don’t want us to show this reality. If we don’t talk about it, no one will.”

However, many other cases have also arisen over the years, which d’Ornellas notes, saying: “We have seen cases in hospitals of women in their 70s, 80s and 90s (being raped)…. If it would be one time, we could be flabbergasted and not really know what to say. When it happens again, we should at least try to find out what to say about it, how to avoid it, because what to say about it means finding ways to prevent it from happening again.”

It is important to note that cases are just ones from France, with Remix News covering many others in Sweden, Germany, Spain, and Italy.

1. A 93-year-old woman and a 95-year-old woman were raped in their hospital beds at Victor Dupouy Hospital, Argenteuil, by 44-year-old Samir B. The 93-year-old later died of cardiac arrest.

2. A 92-year-old nursing home resident was sexually assaulted by Algerian nurse Mohamed D. in Bédarrides. He was sentenced to four years in prison in 2026.

3. 78- and 68-year-old hospital patients were sexually assaulted at Max-Fourestier Hospital, Nanterre, by 28-year-old Congolese migrant Ali Gandega, who said he was “forced” to rape because he had no girlfriend.

4. 83-year-old Odette was raped during a daytime burglary in La Penne-sur-Huveaune by an illegal Guinean migrant. The perpetrator was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

5. A 75-year-old woman was raped on New Year’s morning during a break-in by an African migrant.

6. An 80-year-old woman was raped to death in Niort by an Afghan man in 2025, sparking widespread fear. The Afghan man was charged with “rape resulting in death without intent to cause it.”

7. A 102-year-old nursing home resident in Rouen was subjected to attempted rape by 39-year-old Laury Jean-Baptiste from Guadeloupe. She died less than a month later. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

8. In 2025, a 72-year-old woman was assaulted, raped, and robbed inside her own apartment in Paris.

9. An elderly building caretaker was raped at knifepoint in Paris by 24-year-old migrant Mohammed D., who was sentenced to nine years in prison.

10. An elderly woman was raped in her Paris apartment after an illegal Algerian migrant offered to help her with her groceries.

11. A 67-year-old woman was subjected to attempted rape near Gare du Nord, Paris, by a 27-year-old illegal Tunisian migrant. A passerby intervened before the rape could conclude.

12. Another victim, also 67, suffered an attempted rape in the French town of Tours by an intoxicated Sudanese asylum seeker.

13. Actu 17 news reported how a 21-year-old illegal migrant of unknown nationality was arrested following the sexual assault of a 51-year-old woman as she returned to her home in Avignon.

Regarding these type of cases involving rape of the elderly, d’Ornellas states foreigners are very overrepresented, saying: “You asked about the profile. In the case of rapes of elderly women, it is almost always young foreigners. Most of the time in an irregular situation, he has no fixed address, and we are told that he was probably disturbed. It’s absolutely obvious, I can tell you in advance, given what they’re capable of doing. But in this case, there really is a profile that stands out in the rape of our elderly. Perhaps that should engage us a little.”

Corruption and sexism scandals at Spain’s PSOE increasingly linked to PM Sánchez

Spain’s Socialist Workers’ Party (PSOE) is facing renewed scrutiny as explosive testimonies from investigators, revelations from former PSOE MP Santos Cerdán, allegations of systemic sexism and corruption rock Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez’s party.

The scandals, which have already caused the downfall of several high-profile figures, increasingly threaten to implicate Sánchez directly, with new evidence suggesting his knowledge and possible involvement in covering up wrongdoing.

Yesterday, Lieutenant Colonel Antonio Balas and Commander Montes, leading the Guardia Civil’s economic crime unit, delivered a devastating blow to the defences of former transport minister José Luis Ábalos and his aide Koldo García.

This case is known as the Koldo case, a series of corruption scandals beginning with the Spanish Government’s purchase of Covid-19 masks.

In a marathon session at the Supreme Court, Balas and Montes methodically dismantled the alibis of the alleged “criminal duo”, presenting evidence that suggested Ábalos and García operated as part of a sophisticated kickback scheme.

A network, led by businessman Víctor de Aldama, allegedly funnelled monthly bribes to Ábalos and García in exchange for their co-operation in awarding lucrative public contracts.

Balas testified that the group had “access to the highest echelons of power”, including Sánchez and his cabinet and that the scheme was so entrenched it extended to multiple ministries.

Commander Montes reinforced Balas’ findings, particularly in demonstrating the hierarchical structure of the alleged corruption network and direct involvement of Ábalos in orchestrating the kickbacks

Balas testified that the group had “access to the highest echelons of power”, including Sánchez and his cabinet and that the scheme was so entrenched it extended to multiple ministries.

Their testimony also alleged sexist underpinnings of the operation, with Ábalos and García using public funds to pay for luxuries for their mistresses — including flowers, iPhones, and even a luxury apartment — while women within the party were sidelined or silenced.

Leaked audios and UCO reports earlier revealed highly derogatory language about women, references to prostitutes paid with public/funds, and “casting” discussions allegedly involving Ábalos, Koldo, and references to Cerdán’s circle.

Adding to this testimony was the publication of a new book by journalist Ketty Garat, Todos los hombres de Sánchez (All Sánchez’s Men), which paints a damning portrait of Cerdán, Sánchez’s former right-hand man and the party’s ex-organisation secretary.

Cerdán is being held on charges of bribery, criminal organisation and influence peddling connected to the Koldo case

Garat describes Cerdán not as a whistleblower but as an “emissary”, a figure allegedly sent to manipulate the narrative, conceal evidence and protect Sánchez from the fallout of the corruption scandals.

According to Garat, Cerdán initially appeared to want to clean up the party but instead allegedly worked to bury evidence and discredit investigators.

His betrayal of Ábalos — leaking details appearing to show the ex-minister’s lavish spending on prostitutes and luxury parties — was a calculated move to shift attention away from the broader corruption network and on to Ábalos’ personal conduct.

Garat alleged: “Pedro Sánchez knew everything,” and described Cerdán as his instrument for controlling the damage.

Garat went on to expose allleged problematic sexism within the PSOE’s ranks and revealed that female party members who raised concerns about the “clan of machirulos” (a group that included Ábalos, Cerdán and Koldo) were systematically sidelined or purged.

Rebeca Torró, the current Organisation Secretary and other senior women were excluded from key decisions, while the party’s leadership closed ranks around the men at the centre of the scandal.

Newly leaked messages and testimony, published on March 28 in news outlet The Objective, appear to show that Sánchez was not only aware of the corruption but furious at those who threatened to expose it.

In a private conversation with Cerdán in May 2021, Sánchez allegedly raged: “Jose [Ábalos] has betrayed us. I’m going to fuck him over,” after Ábalos’ extravagant spending and ties to prostitutes risked bringing down the government.

Sánchez’s own actions suggest to some a deeper complicity.

He dined with Cerdán and his wife just weeks before the scandal broke and his government offered Ábalos a soft landing, including a promise of protection if he remained silent.

The Prime Minister’s public denials of knowledge now ring hollow to many, especially as Koldo García has threatened to release messages allegedly implicating Sánchez and former prime minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero in the scheme.

In. addition, Mario Rivas, the PSOE Mayor of Villablino (León), is under investigation for alleged influence peddling after using municipal resources to commission promotional signs for his family’s cattle farm.

Despite the charges, Rivas was elected as a regional MP, granting him legal immunity and delaying his court appearance.

The PSOE not only retained him as a candidate but celebrated his inclusion on the party list as a “historic opportunity” for the region, further undermining public trust in the party’s commitment to ethical governance.

It appears that the PSOE used legal privileges to shield its members from accountability.

Rubén Rivas, the brother of Mario, is also implicated in this scandal, having admitted to paying for the signs before later claiming the money came from Mario.

The Mayor’s refusal to apply the municipality’s own anti-fraud protocols to his own conduct has only deepened public outrage.

PSOE and Pedro Sánchez have consistently maintained a strategy of distancing themselves from the implicated figures while denying any personal or party-level knowledge of corruption.

They frame the scandals as individual betrayals and emphasise that the party acted decisively once evidence emerged.

At the start of the Ábalos trial in early April, government spokeswoman Elma Saiz said, “If trust is broken, that is when it is necessary to act. The PSOE did.”

PSEO spokesperson Montse Mínguez, said at the time, when Koldo García’s brother claimed he went to Ferraz headquarters twice to collect envelopes,”We are clean.” “We are not discovering anything new”.

There have been no formal charges filed against Sánchez or the party leadership as a whole.

‘Young hardcore Muslims’ bully infidel classmates in Berlin

Medforth AI

Wolfgang Büscher, spokesperson for the Berlin-based organisation ‘Die Arche’, sounds the alarm in the BZ daily newspaper: the rapid rise of Islamism in Berlin’s schools is becoming an increasing threat to our children and young people. The pressure that political Islam is exerting on classmates through children of the Muslim faith in our schools is growing ever greater: “If
politicians do not intervene now, we could bitterly regret it in a few years’ time,” says Büscher.

Reports are increasingly emerging from youth work in Berlin of cases in which school pupils are coming under pressure from Islamic groups. According to a spokesperson for the Christian children’s and youth charity ‘Arche’, these reports relate in particular to situations in which young people are trying to persuade their classmates to convert to Islam.

According to the accounts, this leads to peer pressure within peer groups. Some pupils report being pressured to adopt Islamic beliefs or adhere to religious rules. In some cases, enormous social pressure is built up, for example through exclusion or verbal altercations: “Our staff at the Ark schools are telling me more and more often that pupils who do not adhere to the strict way of life of political Islam are excluded, harassed, intimidated and even pressured to convert to Islam.”

Thus, Berlin’s schools, particularly those with a high proportion of migrants, are becoming places where – encouraged by a policy that proclaims ‘Days Against Islamophobia’ – ‘young hardcore Muslims, mini-Islamists’ create or already find a climate in which they feel particularly at ease. So far, there has been no willingness on the part of politicians to counter Muslim bullying with effective measures.

Religiously motivated violence is primarily perpetrated by pupils “whose parents or grandparents come from Palestine, the Gaza Strip, Syria, Iraq and the West Bank”. It is primarily pupils of the Christian or Jewish faith who fall victim to Muslim fanaticism. However, Muslims who hold more liberal views or wish to integrate are also coming under pressure.

A recent analysis by the so-called “MOTRA Monitor”, a research project analysing radicalisation trends in Germany, examines political and religious attitudes among Muslims under the age of 40. According to the published results, 45.1 per cent of the Muslims surveyed in this age group display so-called Islamist-leaning attitudes. A distinction is made between two categories: 11.5 per cent are classified as ‘manifestly Islamist-leaning’, whilst 33.6 per cent are classified as ‘latently Islamist-leaning’.

The attempt to assassinate Trump: the radical Left is a danger to the West

Cancel culture was just the warm-up. The next step is physical because the radical left no longer wants to convince: it wants to bury

by Giulio Meotti

They don’t want to discuss: they want to condemn.

They don’t want to debate: they want to denounce.

They don’t want to persuade: they want to punish.

They don’t want to coexist: they want to dominate.

They don’t want to confront: they want to censor.

They don’t want to dialogue: they want to delegitimize.

They don’t want to convince: they want to humiliate.

They don’t want to reason: they want to put on trial.

Who remembers Sir David Attenborough, the famous British naturalist, saying “We could shoot Donald Trump”?

Then, from Spike Lee’s “Trump is like the Nazis and Mussolini” to Madonna screaming in front of thousands of people at the Women’s March in Washington that she had “thought a lot about blowing up the White House,” it seems that for a certain “good” world, eliminating Trump was a proper and just thing to do.

From the assassination attempts on Donald Trump – first in Butler, then in West Palm Beach and now in Washington – through the murder of Charlie Kirk, up to the shooting last night at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, political violence has been bleeding America for months.

They don’t want to kill them because they are “fascists.” They call them fascists to give themselves the right to kill them.

The civil war has already begun in minds and hearts (and sometimes it becomes real).

The attack on the Washington Hilton was carried out by Cole Tomas Allen, “Teacher of the Month” in California. An “educator” – once a symbol of dedication and moderation – turns into a potential executioner.

What exactly are they teaching in the classrooms? University professors cheering Kirk’s death? The Cornell University lecturer who told students that Hamas’s terrorist attack was “exhilarating” and “energizing”?

They love “diversity,” as long as it is their own single, mandatory version.

In July 2024, Trump was hit in the ear while on stage at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

A few months later, a new assassination attempt on Trump, this time at his golf club in Palm Beach: a rifle barrel poking through the fence.

In February, a man managed to break into Mar-a-Lago in the middle of the night with a rifle and a canister of gasoline.

Meanwhile they have killed Charlie Kirk, the young and hugely popular conservative activist gunned down while speaking to students at Utah Valley University. Killing Kirk was not just eliminating an opponent; it was sending a message to all those who dare to think outside the woke enclosure.

His death did not provoke the unanimous mourning it deserved: too many voices on campuses and social media justified it, revealing how deep the ethical fracture is.

When assassination becomes “direct action” against those who “spread hate,” liberal civilization has already surrendered.

When murder disguises itself as social therapy, liberal civilization has abdicated its foundation: the sanctity of life and of dissent.

The passage from debate to the grave is complete. For years we have witnessed a crescendo of intolerance disguised as “social justice,” where the famous “hate speech” is ennobled as “resistance” when it comes from the left, and the demonization of the other becomes a moral duty.

Anyone who does not align with the dominant narrative – on gender, immigration, Israel, the role of the state, and beyond – is first culturally cancelled, then threatened, and finally physically eliminated.

James Hodgkinson, an elderly volunteer for Bernie Sanders’ campaign, shot Republican congressman Steve Scalise. “I hate Trump,” Hodgkinson said.

The radical left no longer wants to convince: it wants to bury.

“I did it for Gaza,” Elias Rodriguez said after he coldly murdered Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim, two Israeli officials who were about to get engaged. The old right-wing antisemitism has found more sophisticated and culturally accredited heirs on the left.

At Berkeley, California, the university recently hosted a Palestinian Arab terrorist who once tried to blow herself up as a suicide bomber. The same Berkeley where a conservative, Ben Shapiro, has to wear a bulletproof vest just to speak.

A church full of children from a Catholic school in Minneapolis. A male who identified as a “transgender woman” and had changed his name from Robert to Robin – “Robin Westman” – entered during Mass and carried out a massacre: an 8-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy were killed, while another 17 children and adults were wounded.

The attacker had written on the magazine: “Kill Trump,” “Six million is not enough,” and “Inshallah” (which means “God willing”).

What drives a transgender youth to glorify Allah and murder Christian children to “avenge Gaza”?

This new ideological syncretism of the West is grotesque: confused postmodern identities, radical Islamism, hatred of culture and tradition.

Cancel culture was just the warm-up. The next step is physical.

Meanwhile Islamism advances. It has no doubts. It slips into the Western moral void, installs itself under the cover of “tolerance”, spreads hatred of Israel and the West and turns blood into virtue. It is the only coherent totalitarianism and it thrives on the cowardice of those who claim to fight the “extreme right.”

Madness and hatred have infested the West.

Afghan migrants on Greek island stone teenage girl after she refused forced marriage

Medforth AI

A group of Afghan migrants on a Greek island stoned a teenage girl after she refused a forced marriage.

The 17-year-old girl was subjected to the horrific attack by the group of men who had been staying at the Moria migrant camp on Lesbos.

Eirini Agapidaki, Greece’s Deputy Minister of Health, revealed the vile incident during the height of the migrant crisis.

At that time, the refugee camp was the largest camp on the continent until it burned down in September 2020.

It was originally constructed to house around 3,000 individuals – but around 20,000 people ended up living there in the summer of 2020. Around 7,000 were thought to be minors.

There, disorder and chaos was widespread, with human rights bodies regularly criticising the camp’s conditions.

During his papacy, Pope Francis labelled the site a concentration camp.

Now, the minister, speaking with TV channel host Katerina Panagopoulou, opened up further on the extent of the chaos, and claimed authorities regularly lacked accurate data on underaged individuals in Greece.

In the camp, she described often witnessing illegal activities, from drug trafficking to human trafficking.

Hazara children, from Afghanistan, she said, were often abused by trafficking networks, relaying the incident that led to the girl being stoned.

The teen was subsequently transferred to a facility for unaccompanied minors, later going on to do well at school, she added.

The camp was first built in 2013 and, just two years later, became known for its horrendous living conditions.

In the wake of the 2015 migrant crisis, Lesbos witnessed a huge jump in the number of refugees from Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria making the crossing over from Turkey to enter Greece which was.

Last month, three migrants were cleared on appeal of setting fire to the infamous camp during the Covid pandemic, which took place in September 2020.

The juvenile court of Mytilene found all three defendants not guilty. The judge ruled that that their involvement had not been proven.

The trio were previously sentenced to 10 years in prison.

The blaze, which occurred nearly six years ago, destroyed much of the camp, leaving 13,000 without a home or shelter.

The Kara Tepe refugee camp became the alternative camp for migrants on the island.

However, the newer site has also been criticised for poor conditions, with critics taking aim at the crowded tents and failing infrastructure.

By the end of 2025, it housed roughly 15,000 migrants.

Canadian judge gives man who assaulted child lighter sentence because he’s indigenous

A Canadian judge gave a lighter sentence to an indigenous man who violently assaulted a child because of what she called the effects of “colonialization” on the individual.

The case concerns a 33-year-old man, known only as K.J.M. due to a publication ban, from British Columbia, who was charged with two assaults on his girlfriend’s two-year-old child which happened last year.

The man had admitted to choking and kicking the child, and the assaults were filmed on a “nanny cam.”

B.C. Provincial Court Judge Tamera Golinsky, in her April 7 ruling, gave the man two concurrent sentences of six months in jail. He was also given 18 months of probation, mandatory counselling, has to give a DNA sample, and not allowed to own firearms for 15 years.

The Crown had wanted one year in jail, while defense lawyers wanted a conditional sentence of two years less a day, or community service.

The assaults were described as “serious and deliberate acts of violence.” The judge cited the man’s history of substance abuse, a traumatic brain injury (TBI) from a past ATV accident, as well as “colonialization” as mitigating factors in the concurrent sentences of six months in jail.

The judge also said that K.J.M. had no past criminal record, was sorry for what he did to the child, and was not brought up in a “traditional” household. The man also did not have official indigenous status and had nothing to do with any past policies relating to residential schools.

However, the judge wrote, “even the dissociation with one’s past and cultural heritage is a negative consequence of colonialization.”

A psychiatric report on K.J.M. shows that his violent assaults were promoted in part by his “substance use, poor stress and coping, and his TBI.”

The term “colonization,” seemingly aimed at erasing Canada’s Christian European roots, has become commonplace to justify a woke agenda.

Ontario’s education minister recently warned all school boards not to have upcoming graduation ceremonies that “engage in divisive or contentious issues of any kind” after news broke that a school board would guide its graduation events through an “anti-colonial lens.”

Indigenous land acknowledgments have also become common in Canada, especially after unproven claims of unmarked graves at former residential schools drew media attention. These “land acknowledgements” have become so prevalent that even King Charles III gave one while delivering the Throne Speech on behalf of Prime Minister Mark Carney’s Liberal government last May.
