It was around 2:30 p.m. on Monday, October 27, in Saint-Malo when a bus connecting the Féval car park to the city centre was involved in an accident. As the bus was passing the Lycée Maupertuis on Avenue Coubertin, a 32-year-old woman shouted ‘Allah Akbar’ once, according to several sources familiar with the investigation. According to initial findings, the attacker approached the driver and attempted to grab the steering wheel in order to cause an accident.

Spanish priest Father Custodio Ballester has been acquitted by the Provincial Court of Málaga of having committed a “hate crime.”

Fr. Ballester, along with Fr. Jesús Calvo and journalist Armando Robles were the victims of a lawsuit launched by a Spanish Muslim activist group that charged them with making “Islamophobic” remarks during a 2017 podcast.

Fr. Ballester, who serves as a parish priest in Barcelona, was also accused of violating Spanish law in 2020 when a state prosecutor in Catalonia claimed that an article he wrote in 2016 titled “The Impossible Dialogue with Islam” met the criteria of a “hate crime.”

The priest wrote the essay in response to a pastoral letter by his superior, the archbishop of Barcelona, Cardinal Juan José Omella, titled “The Necessary Dialogue with Islam.”

In his rebuttal, Fr. Ballester said, among other things, that “Islam does not allow dialogue. For Islam, either you believe, or you are an infidel who must be subdued one way or another.”

In a statement to Fox News Digital, Fr. Ballester expressed gratitude for the ruling.

“I thank God and the Christian people who supported me with their prayers and their presence in court,” he commented.

The priest predicted that the ruling would be appealed.

“My sentence has greatly angered the prosecutor’s office because it halts all proceedings against freedom of expression,” he said. “They are going to appeal to the higher courts. The heads of the hate prosecutor’s office … do not like defeat. We will continue to fight for freedom.”

Fr. Ballester and his co-defendants faced up to three-years in prison, with Robles reportedly facing a 10-year ban on teaching and a fine of 3,000 euro ($3,500).

Fr. Ballester has remained defiant over the past eight years. He told Catholic News Agency (CNA) that his statements “have never been discriminatory or hateful.” He also said, “they want to use me as an example so that others censor themselves.”

The Málaga court determined that Fr. Ballester’s remarks did not rise to the level of hate speech.

“No matter how despicable or perverse the message may be, or even if the statements may be clearly offensive or unfortunate,’ they do not in themselves constitute a punishable offense,” it said, according to Europa Press. The court also claimed his comments were “clearly offensive” and “unfortunate.”

Law firm Abogados Cristianos previously collected nearly 30,000 signatures for a petition supporting Fr. Ballester’s innocence.

Clergy in Spain have largely remained silent, however. Catholic News Agency has reported that Cardinal Omella “has only offered private words of support, without issuing a public statement.”

“People are very angry about the excessive sentences being sought for ‘hate crimes,’ which are comparable to those sought for sexual assault or leaving someone paralyzed in a fight,” Fr. Ballester previously told CNA.

According to Islamic Sharia law, Christians and Jews who refuse to convert to Islam are not recognized as full citizens but are considered semi-slaves called “dhimmi” who have to pay a special tax called “jizyah.” The OpenDoors “Word Watch List” shows that the majority of the top 50 countries in which Christians are most persecuted are Islamic states.

When previously asked whether he was prepared to spend three years in prison if convicted, Fr. Ballester replied: “It doesn’t seem right to be convicted for something I’ve said, but in Spain anything is possible. But if I am convicted, this will no longer be Spain but Pakistan, where you can be killed for blaspheming the Koran or Mohammed.”

“As a priest, my duty is to Christ and to truth, not to the ideological consensus imposed by the government,” he added.

Fr. Ballester told Fox that had he been convicted he would have wanted to “celebrate Mass in prison with the inmates.”

Virginia Giuffre, one of convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s most prominent victims who later killed herself, wrote in her posthumous memoir that his famed accomplice, convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, once bragged of performing a sex act on actor George Clooney.

In her memoir Nobody’s Girl, released last week, Giuffre said Maxwell often bragged about her sexual escapades with famous people, with actor George Clooney being chief among them. Although she clarified that Maxwell could easily have been lying or embellishing the story.

“Whether that was true or not, we’ll never know,” Giuffre wrote.

As Page Six clarified, Giuffre made “no mention of Clooney being involved with underage sex, Epstein’s crimes, or other wrongdoing of any kind.”

“It wasn’t clear where or when the reported sexual encounter happened, but Maxwell boasted about performing the sex act on the star in a restroom as the pair took a trip in 2001,” the outlet added.

Neither George Clooney nor his representatives have responded to the memoir’s claims.

Her published memoir echoes claims that were made in her unpublished memoir, The Billionaire’s Playboy Club.

“One [time] she came back giddy as a schoolgirl with an explosion of news, with all the build up and excitement in her voice you’d think she was the next crown princess,” Giuffre wrote of Maxwell. “But she had given George Clooney a blow job in the bathroom at some random event. … She never let that one down.”

 As noted by the New York Post, excerpts of the “old memoir were released by a New York judge in 2020, which detailed Maxwell’s alleged proclivity to brag about hook ups she supposedly had with big name celebrities.”

Giuffre also previously claimed to have had sexual relations with  British Royal Prince Andrew while she was trafficked by Epstein. Prince Andrew has repeatedly denied the allegations.

Giuffre commited suicide in April of this year; the BBC recently reported that “there is still much that is not known about Ms Giuffre’s last days or her personal circumstances.”

On October 23 — the anniversary of the 1956 Revolution — Hungary once again became a place where the nation expressed its attachment to freedom and sovereignty.

It is a day reminding us of the Polish-Hungarian brotherhood and the hard truth that without real agency and independence from external pressures, freedom becomes an empty slogan, while the future of a society is shaped by outside decisions.

Our nations experienced the lack of sovereignty painfully enough. Viktor Orbán and his party Fidesz understand this very well.

For years they have defended and built Hungary’s sovereignty against numerous political threats. And for eight years under the PiS government, Poland was Hungary’s close ally in confronting European Union centralisation, the “woke” agenda aimed at children and youth, illegal migration, and many other threats in Europe.

The globalists’ victory in Warsaw in 2023 cut this co-operation short but when those same forces suffered defeat in Poland’s 2025 presidential election, victory returned to the patriots of Central Europe.

Poles quickly realised that Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s promises were deception and that his power relied on fear and propaganda.

This year, the parallels between Poland and Hungary have gained even more importance. Against Orbán’s massive Peace March stands the President of the Respect and Freedom Party in the European Parliament, Péter Magyar — called by many “the Hungarian Tusk.”

He and his supporters openly admit that they are following Tusk’s example. And indeed, the similarities are striking: The same Brussels patrons — President of the European People’s Party Manfred Weber and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen — pressuring through blackmail and propaganda.

The same scenario deployed in Poland in 2023 is now being used in Budapest: Creating a black vision of a “broken state”, promising a “smiling country”, “national reconciliation”, “renewal”, and a supposed “cleansing” of the elite.

During the 2023 Polish parliamentary election campaign, Tusk surrounded himself with puppet centrist parties, creating the illusion of a broad “democratic bloc.”

The globalists understood that after years of contempt for national symbols and traditional values, they needed to change their disguise. Tusk, who once said that “Polishness is an abnormality”, ordered that the EU flags and rainbow banners disappear from his rallies.

Everything suddenly became “Polish,” “patriotic,” and “smiling”. “True Poland”, “rebuilding the state”, a “new beginning” — all empty slogans in the mouth of a globalist politician. Anyone observing Hungarian politics can already see the same masquerade in globalists’ camp.

Another parallel: Magyar’s speeches lack detail. This, too, repeats the Polish scenario.

For months Tusk attacked, threatened “accountability”, spread fear, and promised harmony and better governance, all without presenting real concrete ideas. He finally unveiled his notorious “100 specifics for the first 100 days” just before the vote—far too late for verification.

It was an illusion: After 100 days, only eight of these promises were delivered. After almost two years, he managed to reach 30, excusing this by claiming his party won 30 per cent support.

Meanwhile, under his rule Poles face a record budget deficit, rising prices and an agricultural crisis caused by uncontrolled imports of cheap Ukrainian produce, which leave Polish farmers unable to harvest their crops. Tusk has accepted mandatory migrant relocation and allowed Germany to push migrants back into Poland. In schools, his government pushes aggressive gender ideology, rejected by the overwhelming majority of parents and students.

But one promise is truly being fulfilled: Revenge. Tusk’s government has devastated the prosecution service, the courts and law enforcement. It violated international law by unlawfully detaining me — a sitting MP — leading to my political asylum in another EU member state and to Interpol’s refusal to issue a Red Notice.

Even the European Court of Human Rights, despite being dominated by Hungarian-American billionaire George Soros-linked networks, had to examine cases involving torture committed under Tusk’s government. But that is just the beginning.

NGOs that received state funding undergo endless audits. Conservative and church-related organisations are a particular target. Tens of thousands of citizens face pressure: Firefighters interrogated for having received grants for equipment; tax authorities ignoring VAT mafias and focusing solely on activities from eight years of PiS rule, contributing to the giant budget hole; specialised cyber units delaying investigations into criminal networks to instead examine seized devices of PiS politicians.

Purges sweep through public institutions: From ministries to county offices, clerks, assistants, even drivers and cleaning staff lose their jobs for any alleged sympathy with the Right. Moreover, ordinary citizens are not safe. One elderly woman was detained and taken to a police station simply for criticising a Liberal celebrity online.

“Accountability” is the one element of Magyar’s announcements that can truly be identified as a “specific.” Practically the only one that appeared in his speech on October 23.

This means that, in the event of a victory for his Tisza Party, one should expect Polish-style mass persecution. The globalists’ narrative about national reconciliation will become a fairy tale. Because it is the left-liberal circles that are the main catalyst of divisions — even hatred — in the public sphere. Their political project is built upon a belief in their own superiority, which corresponds with contempt for the “provincial, uneducated Right”, attached to old-fashioned views.

And if Fidesz or PiS dared — with a mandate from their own citizens — to disturb their power and interests, they will do anything — with foreign assistance — to regain that power and destroy their political opponents, so that power is never lost again. Slogans of national unity in their mouths are emptiness. Their political fuel is conflict and their political goal — de facto absolute power.

Hungary should absorb another crucial Polish lesson. Tusk assured voters that “nobody will outplay me in Europe”. After winning, he became utterly submissive to Berlin and Paris, sacrificing Polish interests.

Hungary now hears similar promises from Brussels: Flattery today, heavy demands tomorrow — at Hungary’s expense.

The Polish experience shows what happens when globalists capture the state: Unfulfilled promises, economic damage, repressions and rapid illegal takeover of key institutions — all under the false slogan of “restoring democracy.” Brussels applauds because Poland now assists, rather than obstructs, EU centralisation, forced migration quotas and radical social engineering.

Poland and Hungary again face similar pressures and technologies of power. Magyar speaks of a corrupt elite abusing power — while he himself serves the very elites seeking access to Hungary’s wealth, exactly as they accessed Poland’s.

But Hungary is in a better position today: It can observe Poland’s recent history and see the consequences in advance. Sovereignty must be protected not by listening to empty campaign slogans — but by recognising the real mechanism behind them: Temporarily hidden EU symbols, neutralised ideological emblems, soft language of smiles and reconciliation, and behind the scenes — tools to seize the state and redirect its power outward.

Poles learned this lesson the hard way, over the course of many difficult months. Hungarians have the chance to learn it before the trap closes.

The German ZDF network published a clarification stating that the employee of a production company that it works with, who was killed in an IDF strike, was indeed a Hamas terrorist.

Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen (ZDF), a German public-service television broadcaster,published a clarification on Monday regarding claims that the IDF struck an employee of a Palestinian Arab production company that worked in collaboration with the network

A week ago, ZDF reported that an employee of the Arab company and the son of another employee were killed as a result of an IDF strike on Deir al-Balah in the Gaza Strip.

The network wrote in a statement that it reached out to the IDF to demand answers regarding the circumstances of the deaths, and that the IDF provided unequivocal proof that the two were terrorists working for the Hamas terror organization.

The ZDF published a press release regarding the incident and announced that it has halted all ties with the production company, whose employees turned out to be Hamas terrorists.

If it weren’t so depressing, it would almost be funny. Last weekend, the UK watched in horror as the Metropolitan Police unleashed a two-day manhunt for a convicted sex offender and illegal migrant who had been accidentally released from prison. 

How did we get here? Hadush Kebatu, a 41-year-old Ethiopian, entered the UK by small boat in June this year and was placed in an asylum centre at the Bell Hotel in Epping, Essex. Just a few days after his arrival, he approached a 14-year-old girl wearing her school uniform in Epping town centre, making sexually explicit comments and attempting to kiss her. The next day, he tried to kiss a different woman, before encountering the 14-year-old again and sexually assaulting her. He was arrested and charged. 

Kebatu’s time in the UK was not off to a great start. News of his crime would spark massive protests—first, in Epping, outside the Bell Hotel, where furious locals demanded that the migrants be removed, fearing for the safety of women and children. The hotel, which had already harboured one sex offender, was just a 10-minute walk away from a secondary school. These anti-asylum hotel protests spread to the rest of the UK, culminating in a summer of demonstrations. 

While these dramatic scenes were playing out, Kebatu was being tried and convicted. In September, he was found guilty of two counts of sexual assault, one count of attempted sexual assault, one count of inciting a girl to engage in sexual activity and one count of harassment without violence. As such, he was sentenced to 12 months in prison. He would also have to sign on to the sex offenders’ register for 10 years, and was warned he could be deported. Last week, that threat was supposed to come to fruition. Kebatu was released from HMP Chelmsford and should have been sent on to a deportation centre. Yet for some reason—“human error,” apparently—he was processed by a prison officer, given a £76 discharge payment, and sent on his merry way. 

What did Kebatu do with his newfound freedom? Well, he tried to take himself back to prison. A delivery driver said he witnessed Kebatu return to Chelmsford “four or five times” in the space of an hour and a half. He appeared to be “very confused.” Realising that the prison wanted nothing to do with him, he then took the train to London, where he proceeded to wander around aimlessly, still dressed in his grey prison tracksuit. It took the authorities at Chelmsford one whole hour before they realised what had happened—at which point, they informed Metropolitan Police, who in turn put out urgent announcements, asking members of the public to report if they saw Kebatu, and urging Kebatu to turn himself in. After two days of him leisurely strolling around the world’s most surveilled city, police arrested Kebatu in Finsbury Park. 

Prime Minister Keir Starmer has now promised that Kebatu will be deported, and that there will be an investigation into why he was released. But the fact remains that he should never have been in the UK in the first place. By all rights, this farcical incident should force the government to finally make a real attempt to stop the flow of undocumented migrants into the UK. But by now, we all know that this won’t happen. Until this particular story blew up, the government seemed largely uninterested in stopping Kebatu and the tens of thousands of migrants like him from illegally crossing the channel. While it’s progress that Kebatu specifically will now hopefully be sent back to Ethiopia, he is just one man—one tiny part of a much bigger problem. 

When faced with news that a young girl has been raped or otherwise assaulted, any healthy society would immediately band together and demand justice. The state, you might hope, would jump to address whatever mistake allowed this to happen. This is rarely the case when the perpetrator is a migrant or asylum seeker. Last week, Ireland was reminded of this sad fact, when news broke that a 10-year-old girl had allegedly been raped by a 26-year-old African failed asylum seeker, who is waiting to be deported. The Irish people responded, as you would expect, with outrage, which boiled over into riots in Dublin. The Irish government, however, was quicker to condemn the unrest than the alleged act that sparked it. We can all hope that the perpetrator is swiftly brought to justice and, if found guilty, deported. But will this horrific case force the Irish political establishment to reckon with mass migration more broadly? It looks like they have their heads firmly buried in the sand. 

The same can be said for Sweden. Last year, Meya Åberg, then 16 years old, was raped while walking home from a shift at McDonald’s, where she worked. While passing through a tunnel, she was attacked by Yazied Mohamed, an Eritrean refugee. It took a great deal of effort for Mohamed to be brought to justice at all—when Åberg first reported the assault to the police, he was acquitted due to a lack of evidence. But after appealing the case, he was slapped with a three-year jail sentence and ordered to pay 240,000 kronor to his victim. Despite this, the crime was not deemed grave enough for Mohamed to be deported. According to the Court of Appeal for Upper Norrland, it was not “extremely serious”, because Åberg had not been raped for long enough. 

If raping a child does not warrant deportation, then what does? How many Swedish girls have to be attacked before the authorities consider it serious enough? If Mohamed had killed Åberg, would he have been deported then? These are the kinds of trade-offs our pro-migration elites are willing to make. They have no qualms about sacrificing women and girls in order to appear virtuous and tolerant. 

Another sickening example of this trend is the case of Lola Daviet. In 2022, the 12-year-old French schoolgirl was raped and murdered by Dahbia Benkired, a 27-year-old Algerian woman who was living in France illegally. Benkired was given a life sentence without parole last week, making her the first woman in France to receive it. It’s a good thing that she is receiving the harshest possible punishment. But, once again, she shouldn’t have been in France at all. She had overstayed her student visa, had no job, and no permanent home. At the time of the crime, she had been under a deportation order. Shortly after Daviet’s murder, the Bill to Control Immigration and Improve Integration was introduced to parliament, aimed at making it easier to deport foreign criminals, among other measures. But by the time this was signed into law in 2024, it had been stripped of much of its powers, under pressure by human-rights groups. Virtually nothing will have changed as a result of this tragedy. 

Why do Western governments seem to care so little about protecting women and girls? Why do they prioritise the rights of dangerous newcomers like Kebatu, Mohamed, and Benkired over the safety of people who have lived in these countries their entire lives? Women’s rights are all the rage when the focus is on the ‘gender pay gap,’ catcalling, and microaggressions. But as soon as the conversation turns to sending home foreign sex offenders and stopping the importation of tens of thousands of people we know absolutely nothing about, the mood instantly sours. Women suddenly aren’t so important anymore. 

Europe’s daughters deserve better than this. They deserve governments that will actually protect them, and that will continue to care about their safety long after the news cycle has moved on. The world might forget about Lola and Meya. We will forget that 10-year-old girl in Ireland, or the 14-year-old in Epping. But we will be forced to learn the names, faces, and stories of many more girls if our elites continue down this path.

Catalan police are investigating an attempted kidnapping of an 11-year-old girl in the town of Torelló, north of Barcelona, after four North African men attempted to bundle her into a vehicle as she returned home from her local supermarket.

The incident occurred shortly after 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, when the girl went to buy yogurt at a store on Sant Fortià Square, only a few meters from her home and visible from her mother’s balcony.

According to reporting by El Caso, two of the men entered the supermarket as the girl arrived, while two others waited in a parked car outside. When she left the store, one of the men in the car called her over and offered her €10 if she would get in. When she refused, the two men from inside the shop came back out and joined in trying to persuade her.

The girl ran home screaming for help. Her mother, who had been watching from the balcony, managed to photograph the vehicle before the men drove away. The perpetrators allegedly shouted insults at the mother as they left. Police patrols were dispatched, but the suspects had already fled.

The girl suffered an anxiety attack after the incident and has since been afraid to leave the house. “She used to go out to play in the park, but now she doesn’t want to go outside,” her mother told El Caso, adding that the child has struggled to sleep and remains unsettled at school.

In an interview republished by Remix News, the mother said, “It was terrifying to see my little girl suddenly start to run, screaming. She burst into the house in tears, trembling. That night, she couldn’t sleep or eat. It was horrible.”

Investigators from the Mossos d’Esquadra have reviewed footage from the supermarket’s security cameras, confirming the presence of the suspects and their vehicle. Police say the four men have now been identified and located.

They are believed to be squatters living on Sant Josep Street, a property known locally for recurring disturbances that have alarmed nearby residents.

No arrests have yet been made, and the investigation remains open. The family has requested a restraining order to protect the girl.

The incident follows multiple cases of attempted kidnapping by foreign nationals across Europe in recent days. Two men were arrested for allegedly attempting to kidnap a young girl in Córdoba last Monday, described by media outlets as being of “North African origin.” Neighbors who witnessed the scene intervened and managed to stop the attempted kidnapping before alerting the National Police, who quickly arrived and arrested the suspects nearby.

Similarly, a Gambian minor was arrested in Bologna, Italy, after allegedly attempting to kidnap a newborn baby from a stroller on Via Carracci, near the city’s high-speed train station, on Sunday, Oct. 19.

According to reports from Corriere della Sera, the 17-year-old, who is living in a community center for unaccompanied minors, suddenly reached into a stroller and tried to take the baby, despite the presence of both parents and several witnesses. With the help of passersby, the child’s parents managed to fend off the migrant teen who fled the scene, but was later arrested.

Following the cancellation of the first national medical school entrance exam on Monday, another incident occurred on Thursday, October 23rd, at the Lyon Est faculty, causing panic among the candidates still in the room.

‘At the end of the exam, there was a completely surreal incident during the test,’ says Marie*, a sixth-year medical student. ‘While there were still several students there, someone took the microphone from the main amphitheatre lecture hall and broadcast shouts, insults and religious prayers for about five minutes.’
