A 20-year-old Iraqi migrant who had previously served prison sentences for drug offenses was discovered to have filmed and mocked elderly dementia patients while employed as a caregiver at a municipal care home in Ängelholm, southern Sweden.
The man, identified in court documents seen by the Samnytt news outlet as Azhi Mahmodi, is now charged with four counts of offensive photography and four counts of breach of confidentiality, alongside aggravated weapons and narcotics offenses.
Police uncovered the material earlier this year after stopping a car in Helsingborg that Mahmodi was traveling in. Officers seized drugs and a mobile phone, leading investigators to execute a search warrant a month later. A firearm and large sums of cash were found, prompting further searches.
When police examined Mahmodi’s seized phone, they discovered several clips filmed inside a dementia care home showing elderly residents being ridiculed and humiliated. Investigators later learned that the municipality had employed Mahmodi as a caregiver despite his criminal record.
The videos were also found to have been distributed by Mahmodi on Snapchat.
Helsingborgs Dagblad reports the care home in question was contacted in the summer to help identify the residents whose confidentiality had been breached in the humiliating videos.
Confronted with the evidence, Mahmodi admitted to filming and sharing the videos. “There is no good excuse for it. There isn’t. I am ashamed. So extremely. It is literally shameless what I have done. I cannot deny that,” he told police.
Municipal officials have refused to release documentation relating to his hiring. In a formal response to a request for disclosure, Ängelholm Municipality declined to provide the relevant records, citing confidentiality.
Mahmodi, born in Iraq but holding Iranian citizenship, cannot be deported under the current law as he is a dual national, having also been granted Swedish citizenship.
In recent months, several other migrant caregivers across Sweden have been convicted or charged for serious abuses against elderly patients. Earlier this month, a 26-year-old Syrian man named Mahamad Almousa was sentenced to one year in prison and issued a 10-year expulsion order after sexually assaulting a 67-year-old woman under his care in Vänersborg.
The victim, who managed to call her son during the assault, died weeks later under unclear circumstances. The Vänersborg District Court rejected Almousa’s claim that the encounter was consensual, ruling that his account was “completely inconsistent” with the woman’s frail condition.
In May 2025, a 33-year-old Iraqi man was arrested in Umeå for a series of rapes and sexual assaults against elderly women. Despite an earlier report of harassment, the municipality had allowed him to continue working in care homes, enabling further attacks. Prosecutors allege that he assaulted three elderly women between February and March of this year, with detention hearings conducted via an Arabic interpreter.
In January 2025, a Somali national, 28-year-old Baasim Yusuf, was sentenced to eight years in prison by the Uppsala District Court for multiple aggravated rapes and sexual assaults of women aged between 77 and 88, as well as for filming his victims. Yusuf, who obtained Swedish citizenship in 2018, cannot be deported despite the severity of his crimes.

But… but… the British people have been assured for decades that only “Islamophobes” think any such effort is underway. The leftist elites couldn’t have been lying to their own people, could they? Violent incident aboard a Lufthansa flight from Chicago to Frankfurt am Main. Praneeth Kumar Usiripalli, 28, is alleged to have stabbed two teenagers with a fork from the in-flight cutlery set aboard the Lufthansa aircraft. One of the teenagers suffered an injury to his collarbone, the other to the back of his head. The public prosecutor’s office in the US state of Massachusetts has brought charges against the student from India.
‘When the crew tried to subdue Usiripalli, he allegedly raised his hand, formed a gun with his fingers, put it in his mouth and pulled an imaginary trigger,’ the public prosecutor’s report continues. According to news magazine Der Spiegel, the attacker also shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ – Arabic for ‘God is great’ – and the English word ‘Hijack’.
The incident occurred on Saturday. The Lufthansa jet aborted the flight after the incident and made an emergency landing in Boston, where the student was arrested. Nothing is known about a possible Islamist background at this stage.
The Boston public prosecutor’s office is officially investigating the incident as assault and dangerous interference with air traffic. The student faces up to ten years in prison.
After the incident, Lufthansa stated: ‘We deeply regret the inconvenience caused by this situation. Upon arrival, our guests were offered psychological counselling by a specially trained team,’ the company told the Bild newspaper.
The flight was not continued. Passengers were rebooked onto other aircraft.
A new ‘Halal Information’ section has been added to the website to answer customers’ questions.
A major change has been made at Five Guys. ‘For two weeks now,’ since October 17, six restaurants belonging to the American chain, including the one on Place de Clichy in Paris’s 9th arrondissement, have been serving halal-certified beef in their burgers and hot dogs.
In a Q&A series published on its French website, Five Guys states that ‘the beef served in the following restaurants comes from halal-certified suppliers’. These restaurants are located in Lyon Part-Dieu, Paris Place de Clichy, Rosny 2, Créteil Soleil, Marseille Vieux-Port and Lille rue de Béthune.
Another noteworthy development: these six establishments do not sell ‘alcohol,’ as Five Guys states in its new «‘Halal Information’ section.» .
As if to pre-empt potential criticism, the company explains that it wants to ‘offer [its] Five Guys burgers and fries to as many people as possible.’

An illegal migrant sexually assaulted two women while he delivered takeaways to their homes.
Shafiullah Rasooli was illegally using his friend’s registration details to deliver food to customers in and around Maidstone in Kent at the time.
According to court proceedings, the 29-year-old touched the breasts of two customers and ran his hands of their upper bodies on July 3 and July 26 this year.
The Afghan migrant was later identified and charged with three counts of sexual assault, against two victims.
However, Rasooli denied the allegations, claiming “hugging to the side” was a common way of saying goodbye in his home nation.
He was found guilty of all charges on October 1 at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court.
Terry Knox, prosecuting, told the court: “He’s an immigration overstayer and now his application to stay [longer] has been formally rejected.
“He came to [one victim’s] address and she recognised him from [delivering food] two weeks earlier.
“He then steps over the threshold of the door, so the assault happened in her own home.”
He added: “He then asked her her name and age and told her she looks young for her age, and then he gestures to the sofa and said to her, ‘no boyfriend or friends [at home]’.
“She lies and indicates to him yes… and she was scared and unsettled as he gives her the bags [for delivery] and at that point he runs his hands down her body, down her breasts and [upper] body and was smiling as he did so.”
The court heard that the other victim said the second sexual assault unfolded in a similar manner.
The second woman became paranoid after the assault and installed CCTV and security lights at her residence, the court heard.
She also was unable to keep her job as she could not sleep due to fears he would return.
The woman said: “[My house] used to be my safe place, but he knows where my home is and what my phone number is.”
Mr Knox told the court that Rasooli was remanded in custody in August due to his immigration status.
However, he added that at that point he was unsure whether Rasooli would be detained by immigration authorities if he was released.
The prosecutor added: “He’s been on remand as he had no resident to go to.”
The court ordered for Rasooli to be kept in custody until a pre-sentencing report was completed.
However, upon his appearance at Margate Magistrates’ Court on October 21, it weas revealed this would not be until December 3 at the earliest.
Magistrates then said they wanted to send the case to Canterbury Crown Court for sentencing and Rasooli was remanded in custody until then.

Yet it wasn’t an isolated act of madness, but rather the culmination of decades of moral decline in that country. Jewish life has now retreated behind walls; families are quietly applying for second passports.
The United States is not there yet — but we’re heading in the same direction. Whether we become an unwelcome country for Jews depends on how our generation responds to the same rising antisemitism that has been essentially unchecked across the Atlantic. It’s really a test of whether our democracy still has a conscience — and a future.
Jew-hatred has surged in both the UK and US since Hamas’ massacre two years ago, when more than 1,200 Israeli civilians were brutally murdered and raped and hundreds were kidnapped into Gaza. Instead of uniting in condemnation, too many voices in Western academia, politics and media twisted the moment to fit their agendas — rationalizing and even celebrating terrorism as “resistance.” In this warped narrative, the slaughter of innocents became “bravery,” while Israel’s defense of its citizens was smeared as “genocide.” And when elites excuse terrorism abroad, they normalize hatred at home.
It has become abundantly clear that turning Israelis into villains pushes people to see Jews as oppressors and human-right violators. The result is a reversal of the lines between victims and perpetrators that fuel division, resentment and in time, violence toward Jews.
In the United States, this same moral inversion is now rising on the left, as well as from radical Islamists — and it is a mortal threat to the pluralism on which the American experiment depends. These groups share a conviction that America and the West are illegitimate systems that must be torn down. They advance that agenda by branding Israel and the United States as colonial oppressors and sowing division from within.
This country is built on the promise that every citizen can live openly without fear. Antisemitism strikes at the heart of that promise.
When hatred of Jews is tolerated, intolerance becomes permissible in public life, and once accepted against one group, it spreads to others, until the entire body politic is convulsed with hatred, division and violence.
It is no exaggeration to say that saving the United States’ future depends on defeating antisemitism, just as it has worked to stamp out racism. Americans must confront antisemitism wherever it appears, including within our own political camps.
Silence in the face of hatred gives it license to grow, yet outrage is not the proper response, either — at least, not by itself. We must turn our anger into action, exposing those who spread antisemitism, tracing their funding, demanding accountability from universities and media institutions and strengthening laws to protect the innocent.
The United Kingdom refused to do this. For years, police refused to enforce hate-crime laws. Universities tolerated mobs chanting for Israel’s destruction. Politicians equivocated in the name of “balance.” The result is visible today: Jews living behind fences, a public desensitized to hate and a moral compass that no longer points north.
Alas, the same antisemitic currents that hollowed out British courage long before Oct. 7, 2023, have also been flowing through American institutions, especially academia and media, where hatred is often repackaged as “justice.” What began as the demonization of Israel is quickly becoming the dehumanization of Jews. If allowed to spread further, this hatred will destroy America from within.
For centuries, Jews endured persecution at the mercy of rulers and mobs who could turn against them overnight. America was different. Jewish immigrants arrived with little but built one of the most successful, civic-minded communities in the nation. The United States offered something new and urgently needed in Jewish history: protection under a democratic system grounded in liberty and equal rights. Now that promise is being tested.
The American idea — liberty, pluralism, equality under law — cannot survive if hatred of one group becomes acceptable. The hatred we see on our campuses and in our city squares is not merely about political protests. It is a stress test of our nation’s moral core.
We can either accept antisemitism and the decline that follows, or we can prove that America still believes in itself.

A violent transgender pedophile has been released into the community of Everett, Washington, after serving 30 years behind bars for child rape, kidnapping, and child molestation. Jolene Charisma Starr, born Joel Thomas Nichols, had served part of his sentence in a women’s prison.
As reported exclusively by Reduxx, Starr was convicted of multiple violent offenses, including two assaults on young girls and the attempted rape of a woman engaged in prostitution.
The first assault took place in August of 1993 in which Starr targeted an 11-year-old girl. According to an appeals record, Starr had carefully planned out the attack on the girl, which the court stated took a “high degree of sophistication.”
Posing as a telephone repairman, Starr gained access to the girl’s home after observing her residence and noticing that her parents had left without her. Trusting him, the child allowed him inside the apartment, where he cornered her. When she tried to flee, Starr quickly overpowered her and forced her to the floor.
According to the grisly account, Starr had brought with him a pair of panties he wanted the child to wear for him as part of a sick fantasy he had. She complied out of fear after he threatened her. He procured a knife and slowly cut the underwear off of the child before first attempting to penetrate her vaginally. After the girl expressed pain, he turned her over and raped her anally.
Following the assault, Starr ordered the girl to take a shower, ostensibly in an effort to destroy the evidence of his crime. But after she did so, he raped her both vaginally and anally once again.
After forcing the child to take a second shower, Starr threatened her and told her not to tell anyone. As he left, he took with him the cut panties, along with a condom he had worn during the assault.

Starr began identifying as transgender after being sentenced to 30 years in prison for the brutal rape of an 11-year-old girl.
He is currently housed with women at WCCW, where our sources have described him as "violent."
The next year, in August of 1994, Starr attempted to kidnap a 9-year-old girl from Yost Park, but the attack was only stopped by the heroic efforts of three brave little girls who had been in the vicinity.
After grabbing the 9-year-old victim, her screams attracted the attention of two sisters, aged 10 and 12, and their cousin, aged 10. The girls raced to the other child’s aid, and grabbed ahold of her as Starr attempted to drag her out of the park. Starr attempted to dissuade the girls by claiming that the victim was his daughter, but the group didn’t believe him.
The children successfully wrangled the 9-year-old away from Starr, who fled when they claimed a parent was nearby. The young heroines then surrounded the victim with their bicycles and ensured she made it to safety.
Just four days after the attempted kidnapping at Yost Park, Starr physically assaulted and attempted to sexually assault a 24-year-old prostituted woman. The victim had been paid for sex by a member of Starr’s family, who then complained to Starr about her performance. Starr became enraged and lured the victim to his home by offering to pay her for sex. When she arrived, he attacked her and attempted to rape her. The woman was able to escape and run to a nearby house for help.
Starr was arrested shortly after, and was identified as the suspect in the attempted kidnapping based on descriptions that had been given by the children. A DNA sample from Starr then successfully connected him to the 1993 child rape case.
Starr was handed an “exceptional” 360-month sentence, amounting to 30 years behind bars on counts of first-degree child rape, first-degree child molestation, and first-degree kidnapping, and more. He unsuccessfully attempted to appeal the sentence in 1998.
In 2023, Reduxx learned that Starr had been transferred to the Washington Correctional Center for Women.
A source within the facility came forward and explained that female inmates were petrified of Starr, describing him as a “really violent sex offender.” The source named Starr “the worst [trans inmate] yet” to be transferred to the facility, which has been plagued with controversies as a result of accomodating a number of trans-identified male transfers.
But Starr has now been released from prison, and has been registered as a “female” sex offender.
The notice reveals that Starr has been assessed as a Risk Level 3, which is defined by Snohomish County as extremely high risk offenders “who are a threat to reoffend if provided the opportunity.” The definition goes on to state that most offenders in this category “have prior sex crime convictions as well as other criminal convictions. Their lifestyles and choices place them in this classification. Some have predatory characteristics and may seek out victims. They may have refused or failed to complete approved treatment programs.”
Starr is currently residing in the city of Everett, Washington, and has listed his birth name as an alias.

The initiative is quite unusual: the former singer of a boy band that was popular in the 1990s converted to Catholicism and has just made a documentary glorifying the Sacred Heart. The film, which has just been released in French cinemas, has been met with national censorship, with advertising agencies and local authorities refusing to screen it on the grounds of alleged “violations of secularism.” Despite—or because of—this, it has been a hit with audiences.
The career of Steven Gunnell, the son of a British rocker living in France, has had many twists and turns. In the 1990s, he shared the stage with three other young men in the rock band Alliage, well known to teenage girls, which enjoyed some significant success on the French pop scene.
After the band split up in the early 2000s, Steven Gunnell went through a difficult period and sank into alcoholism. His conversion to Catholicism helped him recover, and he decided to put his artistic career at the service of his faith. After writing and performing Catholic-inspired music, he turned his attention to making a documentary film entitled Sacré-Cœur: son règne n’aura pas de fin (Sacred Heart: His Reign Will Have No End), in which he explores devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
This particular devotion has a very French history.
Three hundred and fifty years ago, in 1675, a Visitation nun from Burgundy, Marguerite-Marie Alacoque, was struck by visions of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, asking her to work for the spread of his devotion. In 1689, he asked Marguerite-Marie to go to King Louis XIV and ask him to consecrate France to his Sacred Heart and to add its image to the kingdom’s banners. The request went unheeded, but a little over a century later, the Sacred Heart was adopted as an emblem by counter-revolutionaries committed to defending their king and their faith during the Reign of Terror in 1793. Another request of this kind was made to President Raymond Poincaré during the First World War by another nun, Claire Ferchaud—again to no avail. The basilica dedicated to the Sacred Heart has dominated Paris for 150 years and is one of the most visited places in the capital.
Gunnell’s film, made with his wife Sabrina, tells the story of this devotion to the Sacred Heart, from the apparitions of Saint Marguerite-Marie to the present day, alternating between historical narrative, spiritual reflections on the love of Christ, and testimonies from people converted by his Sacred Heart.
Upon its release, the documentary was met with a powerful wave of hostility. Mediatransports, the advertising agency for the RATP (Paris transport authority) and the SNCF (national railway company), refused to run any promotional posters for the film, judging it too “confessional and proselytising” and therefore “incompatible with the principle of public service neutrality.” This is not the first time that Mediatransports has censored subjects related to Christian identity. In 2015, the agency refused a poster campaign for a concert on the grounds that it was organised “for the benefit of Eastern Christians,” for the same reasons. The neutrality of public service is a convenient excuse, since every year the corridors of the Paris metro are plastered with campaigns for Islamic charities or food advertisements targeting Muslims during Ramadan.
Hubert de Torcy, director of the SAJE Distribution group, which manages the film’s distribution, believes Mediatransports’ decision is unfair: “The subject of the film is part of French history and French culture,” he explained to Le Figaro. Speaking on Europe 1, director Steven Gunnell pointed out the absurdity of tolerating posters for ostensibly anti-Christian films such as The Nun, The Exorcist, and The Conjuring in public spaces, but rejecting Sacré-Cœur.

Sacré-Cœur has many detractors. The progressive newspaper La Croix, although officially Catholic and distributed in many parishes and religious communities, even published an op-ed condemning the film, which is accused of “reinforcing the links between Catholicism and the far right.” The accusation is aimed at conservative Catholic billionaire Vincent Bolloré, owner of the CNews channel, who helped finance the film. “This is not about criticising a film, but about showing what its supporters say about it,” reads the collective op-ed published by La Croix, which is fond of this type of stigmatisation.
The film was released on October 1st in 150 theatres across France—just over one per department—but without any national advertising coverage.
The offensive also spread to the very places where it was being shown, with some municipalities simply refusing to allow the film to be screened in their cinemas.
One case in particular made headlines—that of Marseille. The film was to be screened at the Château de la Buzine—an iconic location, as it is the castle immortalised by Provençal writer and filmmaker Marcel Pagnol in his work Le Château de ma mère (My Mother’s Castle), which has since become a cultural centre—but was pulled from the programme by Socialist mayor Benoît Payan just one hour before it was due to be shown, on the grounds that it was “an attack on secularism,” following a report by a city official. “The decision not to hold this screening in a municipal facility is in strict accordance with the law. A public facility cannot host screenings that, by their nature and content, are of a religious nature,” the municipality explained in a press release.
Several centre and right-wing elected officials protested the decision. ”After blacklisting Jews, now it’s Catholics!” said the president of the region, Renaud Muselier, indignantly. Franck Allisio, the National Rally candidate for the upcoming municipal elections in Marseille, denounced the “Christianophobia” at work in Marseille.
Together with the director, conservative senator Stéphane Ravier, a close associate of Marion Maréchal, filed an urgent administrative appeal to lift the screening ban, denouncing “the false pretence of selective secularism.” The court ruled in their favour, finding that the mayor’s decision “constituted a serious and manifestly illegal violation of freedom of expression, freedom of artistic creation, and freedom of artistic distribution.” The distribution of a film of a Christian nature does not in any way constitute a violation of secularism.
Making amends, the socialist mayor finally picked up the phone to call the director, even promising to attend a screening of the film. As always in such cases, censorship only served to strengthen the motivation of viewers. The film is entering its fifth week in theatres and is about to pass the 300,000 viewer mark.
The sudden appearance of a large number of German flags in a small town in rural Germany has caused a flap in political and media circles.
As local newspaper Siegner Zeitungreports, the State security agency has launched an investigation into a potential “right-wing extremist” aspect of the action.
During the night of October 17, unknown parties hung more than 20 black, red and gold German flags throughout Nachrodt-Wiblingwerde, a small town of 6,000 inhabitants south of Dortmund (North Rhine Westphalia).
The banners in varying sizes were strung from lampposts and traffic signs. A larger flag was fixed to a local radio tower – together with a sign reading: “National pride is not a crime”.
Flying the German flag is not illegal. Nevertheless, the local State security service – a department of the police that deals with politically motivated crime – in the nearby town of Hagen has launched an investigation.
The Hagen police have also confirmed they received at least one complaint about the flags.
Nachrodt-Wiblingwerde Mayor Birgit Tupat told local newspaper Westfalenpost on October 23 that she had first thought the flags were a harmless prank by local youths and they would soon be taken down by town officials.
She later learned, though, of a trend on social media urging people to show the German flag – an emulation of the British Raise the Colours campaign advocating the display of Union Jack and St George’s Cross flags in public places.
Tupat said she did not mind if someone raised the German flag on their own land, but added: “When it happens on public land and it has a right-wing background, that’s where I draw the line.”
The mayor said that although she was not the one who alerted State security, she was receiving hostile emails: “I am labelled a hater of Germany and the German flag. This is not the first time I have had this right-wing mob breathing down my neck.”
Tupat added: “I have nothing against the German flag. It is a symbol of the free democratic basic order.”
Despite the investigation, the events in Nachrodt-Wiblingwerde have already inspired local copycats. In the night of October 26, dozens of German flags were hung by unknown persons in the nearby town of Hilchenbach.
A spokesman for the local police told newspaper Siegener Zeitung that the act – while not a crime and without indication of a political motive – had been reported to the State security office.
A young German activist dubbed the “anti-Greta” is seeking asylum in the United States after being hit with a wave of Antifa death threats over her political views and free speech championing.
Naomi Seibt, 25, recently filed the petition for political asylum — in a move she says was supported by Elon Musk — amid fears she will be killed or be thrown in prison if she returns to her native country.
Seibt, who became a darling of the right when she was just a teen due to her outspoken views on immigration and climate change, told Fox News she has faced vile threats “for years.”
“In 2024, I found out that I had been spied on by German intelligence for years. Simultaneously, I keep receiving death threats from Antifa,” she said.
“I went to the German police, and they told me that they can’t do anything about it as long as I have not actually been raped or killed.”
“I am not getting protection from the German government even though I am at major risk of potentially being killed,” she added.
Seibt, who was tapped by a US conservative think tank in 2020 to be its poster girl, said she quickly became a target after she was pegged as a foil to climate crusader Greta Thunberg.
“I had started becoming known and internationally recognized as the anti-Greta Thunberg in 2020,” she said.
“I was barely 19 years old and never expected to be recognized as a right-wing figure. The German media called me the anti-Greta, they demonize me as the anti-Greta, like an anti-Christ for Greta Thunberg,” she continued.
“I’m Naomi Seibt and want to be recognized as who I am because I’m not just some puppet poster figure for the right wing.”
Meanwhile, Seibt said that Musk had privately offered her support as she pushes to become an American citizen.
“Elon has been terrified to go to Europe and knows that there is an extremely high threat and has confirmed this to me personally,” she said, adding she started interacting with the billionaire on X last year.
“That’s when I made the decision to apply for asylum myself. He gave me his approval for that.”
