Attack in an ambulance, criminal charges, meeting in the prefecture… The firefighters of the Puy-de-Dôme department are sounding the alarm in the face of increasing violence during operations. A routine operation for the firefighters. On May 24, they were called out to Riom to help a man who had suffered a fainting spell at work. They put him on a stretcher, put him in the ambulance and drive him to hospital.
But in the vehicle, the sick man no longer seemed really ill: “He came loose and pushed my colleague against the doors of the ambulance. He grabbed his neck with his hands,” says Sergeant Ludovic, head of the fire department. I put my knee on his chest and held him by the wrists until the police arrived. He tried to bite me and shouted “Allah Akbar”.
In a stunning revelation that’s sure to infuriate the radical left even more, bombshell actress Sydney Sweeney has been outed as a registered Republican in Florida, just as she’s facing absurd backlash over a harmless American Eagle jeans advertisement.
The 27-year-old “Euphoria” star, known for her roles in hit shows and films, registered with the GOP in Monroe County in June 2024, according to public voter records viewed by The Gateway Pundit.

This comes at a time when left-wing activists are desperately trying to cancel her for an ad that playfully puns on “great jeans” and “good genes,” twisting it into some far-fetched eugenics conspiracy.
The controversy erupted last week when American Eagle launched its fall campaign featuring Sweeney. In the ad, the blonde beauty struts in denim while narrating about her family heritage: “My parents always said I got good genes… Great jeans look good on everyone.”
Sydney Sweeney’s American Eagle campaign is receiving criticism for a “jeans/genes” pun that some say echoes eugenics and white supremacy rhetoric.
The ad’s slogan is a clever play on words, tying into the brand’s jeans line and celebrating confidence and personal style. But in today’s hyper-woke climate, nothing innocent escapes the outrage mob. Critics on social media, particularly from progressive circles, accused the ad of promoting “white supremacy” and eugenics, claiming the “genes” reference evokes Nazi-era ideals of genetic superiority, simply because Sweeney is white, attractive, and unapologetically feminine.
American Eagle fired back against the nonsense, issuing a statement that read, in part, “Her jeans. Her story. We’ll continue to celebrate how everyone wears their AE jeans with confidence, their way.”
This isn’t the first time Sweeney has faced scrutiny for not toeing the Hollywood leftist line. Rumors of her conservative leanings have swirled for years, fueled by photos from a family gathering where people were seen wearing red MAGA hats. Sweeney never commented on the controversy.
people are shocked that Sydney Sweeney is a registered Republican.
An Afghan man breaks into a retirement home in the Gräfrath district of Solingen, North Rhine-Westphalia, at night. There, the migrant threatens and attacks employees. The police do not arrest the violent offender. They establish his identity and let the Afghan man go. He utters a threat.
One of these countless individual cases occurred last Wednesday evening around 10 p.m. in a Gräfrath retirement home in Solingen. A 28-year-old Afghan gained unauthorised access to the care facility on Melanchthonstraße. The facility is only a three-minute walk from the ‘Fauna’ zoo, where a few weeks ago, two kangaroos lost their lives and heads in unexplained circumstances.
The intruder ignored the staff’s requests to leave the premises. When employees tried to get the Afghan to leave, the situation escalated: a scuffle ensued, during which an employee was injured.
The response of the police, who encountered the man at the scene, is simply baffling and shows that neither the judiciary nor the police are willing to protect citizens from the increasingly threatening effects of mass migration from foreign cultures: according to thenewspaper Solinger Nachrichten, the officers merely issued a warning to leave the area without arresting him. What is shocking is that, according to witnesses, the perpetrator threatened that this would not be the last time he would be encountered. Despite the violent offender’s blatant threat that this would not be the last time he would be encountered, the dangerous migrant was allowed to leave.
Police spokesman Stefan Weiand explained that there was no ‘legal basis for an arrest’ because the perpetrator complied with the order to leave the premises. According to the newspaper, the criminal investigation department is now investigating, but the perpetrator’s motive remains unclear. Was it a targeted attack or a knee-jerk reaction? The employees remain fearful of the intruder returning.
What remains are frightened elderly people and nursing home staff, who must now have realised what uncontrolled, culturally alien mass migration of predominantly young Muslim men means for their safety and their lives.
Nationalism is the issue of our age, argues our guest on this week’s NCF Whittle. In his reissued book “The Virtue of Nationalism”, Israeli philosopher Yoram Hazony, Director of the Edmund Burke Foundation and a key figure in the National Conservative movement in the USA, makes the positive case for nationalism in an honest, reasoned, morally unflinching way. His book offers an eye-opening rethinking of the modern political experience. It recounts how English, Dutch, Scots and American Protestants revived the Old Testament’s love of national independence—and how their nationalism freed them from the vision of world empire promoted by the German-Catholic Holy Roman Emperors. It was this Protestant reconstruction of the political world that brought national freedom to peoples from Poland to India, and from Israel to Ethiopia. But since the 1960s, the tide has turned against the ideal of national independence. Both in America and Europe, “globalists” now see unfettered national self-determination as having been responsible for two World Wars and the Holocaust. The answer they have offered us—“global governance”—is well-intentioned. Yet in advancing it, they have reawakened hatreds they didn’t count on: The old war between Protestant nationalists and Catholic universalists that destroyed much of Europe in the 17th century has returned. Hazony argues that in view of this renewed clash between nationalism and universalism, we will have to make a choice: Either a world of independent states, or a renewal of the ideal of universal empire—which means, inevitably, American empire. The Virtue of Nationalism compares the options before us, and suggests that if it’s freedom we want, we should fight to preserve a world of independent nations. —————
Germany is being hit by a wave of insolvencies. Now in the third year of a prolonged recession, the economic situation is more alarming than during the 2009 financial crisis.
The death spiral of German businesses has reached dramatic proportions. According to the Leibniz Institute for Economic Research in Halle (IWH), the second quarter of 2025 saw the highest number of insolvencies among partnerships and corporations in 20 years. Despite a slight decline in June, the trend remains: Germany’s economic substance is eroding — and with it, the nation is quietly bidding farewell to its prosperity.
Mass Extinction of German Companies
In June alone, the IWH economists counted 1,420 corporate bankruptcies — down 4% from May. But year-on-year comparisons reveal the full scope of the crisis: a 23% increase from June 2024. The figures are also over 50% higher than the pre-lockdown average. Particularly noteworthy: In economically strong states like Bavaria and Hesse, insolvencies rose disproportionately by 80% and 79%, respectively.
Altogether, 4,524 company insolvencies were recorded in Q2 — a 7% rise compared to Q1 2025.
Economists cite not only the ongoing recession but also a long-overdue market correction following years of ultra-low interest rates from the European Central Bank. As Steffen Müller, head of insolvency research at IWH, puts it: “For many years, extremely low interest rates prevented bankruptcies, and during the pandemic, state aid kept alive firms that were already weak.” Now, the market is reclaiming its cleansing power.
Avoidance of Root Cause Analysis
But this structural rupture meets a vacuum in economic policy.
While the IWH analysis avoids addressing the deeper structural weaknesses and self-inflicted political damage, these remain the decisive factors behind Germany’s economic isolation. High energy costs, overregulation, and tax burdens — by international standards — are driving companies either to bankruptcy or abroad. Workers are now increasingly feeling the effects.
According to consulting firm Ernst & Young, over 100,000 jobs will likely be cut in 2025, especially in the industrial sector — the main victim of the energy and regulatory crisis. Since the pre-COVID period, German industry has lost roughly 10% of its production volume. Viewed in isolation, the sector resembles a depression more than a recession. A return to a sustainable growth path is unlikely under current conditions.
The heavily hit construction sector also suffers. Once a stabilizing force in 2020–21, building activity has collapsed since 2022. Real construction output fell 4% in 2024, with another 2.5–3% decline expected for 2025. Overall, real construction volume in 2025 will be 10–12% below 2019 levels.
False Hopes for a Rescue
The German government plans a €847 billion debt-financed stimulus over four years, mainly for military upgrades and infrastructure. However, most of the funds will likely be diverted to plug holes in Germany’s hemorrhaging social security system.
In 2025 alone, a social insurance deficit of at least €140 billion is expected. The federal government must fill this gap to avoid spiraling secondary costs. If so, the ambitious investment plans of the Merz administration will collapse.
Germany has become a socioeconomic problem case — and its leaders are clinging to the outdated Keynesian playbook. State spending, financed through debt and backstopped by ECB rate suppression, is expected to jump-start the economy.
But this will not happen. Only the market can efficiently allocate scarce capital toward productive uses that create prosperity. Berlin has yet to grasp this reality.
The recent U.S.-EU trade deal will cost Germany roughly €6.5 billion in tariffs in the first year. But far more damaging will be the accelerating exodus of companies relocating operations to the U.S. to avoid tariffs — unless Germany’s tariff regime changes.
The Merz government’s debt binge may briefly delay the insolvency wave by flooding markets with artificial capital. But this merely postpones the inevitable reckoning — a purge of subsidized zombie firms that thrived on cheap credit or EU Green Deal handouts.
Big Government, Green Ideology
Just weeks into Friedrich Merz’s chancellorship, one thing is clear: There will be no return to market-based economic policy. Merz has revealed himself as a proponent of big government, interventionism, and green transformation orthodoxy.
Germany still holds the political weight to derail Brussels’ transformation agenda and force a return to economic rationality. But so far, the country’s rapid deindustrialization and prolonged recession have not triggered a critical reassessment of its political course.
Spectacular police operation at Stadelheim Prison: A cleric for Muslim prisoners is at the centre of extensive investigations. According to information obtained by the BILD newspaper, he is accused of smuggling mobile phones and drugs into the prison and receiving money in return. Last week, the police conducted a large-scale search at the prison. At the same time, the suspect was arrested at his home in Munich and has been in custody ever since. The Munich Public Prosecutor’s Office confirmed the operation when asked. Senior Public Prosecutor Anne Leiding explained that the suspect had been arrested at his home in Munich and had been in custody ever since. Senior public prosecutor Anne Leiding said that the cleric was being investigated on suspicion of bribery and gang-related and commercial trafficking of narcotics in no small quantities. According to BILD information, the clergyman had been under investigation by the investigators for weeks. He is alleged to have smuggled mobile phones past the prison entrance controls and sold them to prisoners for 2,000 euros each – a serious violation of prison regulations. This is because mobile phones can also be used to conduct criminal business within prison walls.
But that’s not all. The cleric, known in the prison as ‘Hoca’ (Turkish for teacher, editor’s note), is also alleged to have smuggled the psychoactive narcotic ‘Spice’ into the prison. This consisted of A4 sheets of paper prepared with cannabinoids. According to BILD, he cut them up and gave them to prisoners to smoke in cigarettes – for up to 1,000 euros per sheet. Several prison cells were also searched during the raid. According to the public prosecutor’s office, seven prisoners who are believed to be involved in the alleged smuggling are now also under investigation. The Stadelheim Prison itself did not comment on the case when asked by BILD. The arrested clergyman largely refused to make a statement during his interrogation, but denied dealing in drugs. According to BILD information, he is currently in custody at Ravensburg Prison (Baden-Württemberg).
Biological males have taken almost 2,000 medals from actual female Americans in female athletic programs since the 1980s, according to a report from Concerned Women for America (CWA).
The fact sheet is based on a review of data compiled by He Cheated, a website dedicated to compiling examples of “male athletes (who) are dominating female sports, setting records, stealing podium spots, medals, award money, positions on national teams, and causing women and girls to be excluded from our own sporting category.”
It finds that more than 1,941 gold medals in female events that would have gone to female athletes have instead been claimed by men identifying as “trans women,” and along with them more than $493,173 in prize money across more than 10,067 amateur and professional events.
The states in which the problem is most prevalent are California, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.
“For too long, trans-identifying males have displaced, disrupted, and injured women and girls in female sports categories,” CWA president Penny Nance told The Christian Post. “Our research reveals the shocking truth of the matter — over 1,900 women have come in second place to men who claim to be women. This is outrageously unjust. Women and girls must have sex-protected athletics under Title IX.”
While Nance celebrated the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee’s recent decision to exclude men from female events, she said other national athletic governing bodies still need to follow suit and urged Congress to pass a federal law, the Protection of Women in Olympic & Amateur Sports Act, forcing them to if they want to keep receiving federal Title IX funds.
Mandatory inclusion of gender-confused individuals in opposite-sex sports is promoted as a matter of “inclusivity,” but critics note that indulging “transgender” athletes undermines the original rational basis for having sex-specific athletics in the first place, thereby depriving female athletes of recognition and professional or academic opportunities.
There have been numerous high-profile examples in recent years of men winning women’s competitions, and research affirms that physiology gives males distinct athletic advantages that cannot be fully negated by hormone suppression.
In a 2019 paper published by the Journal of Medical Ethics, New Zealand researchers found that “healthy young men (do) not lose significant muscle mass (or power) when their circulating testosterone levels were reduced to (below International Olympic Committee guidelines) for 20 weeks,” and “indirect effects of testosterone” on factors such as bone structure, lung volume, and heart size “will not be altered by hormone therapy;” therefore, “the advantage to transwomen (biological men) afforded by the (International Olympic Committee) guidelines is an intolerable unfairness.”
Critics also argue that forcing girls to share intimate facilities such as bathrooms, showers, or changing areas with members of the opposite sex violates their privacy rights, subjects them to needless emotional stress, and gives potential male predators a viable pretext to enter female bathrooms or lockers by simply claiming transgender status.
Even the left-wing United Nations has acknowledged as much via an October 2024 report by Special Rapporteur Reem Alsalem, which found that more than 600 female athletes around the world have lost more than 890 medals to men in 29 sports as of March 2024. “To avoid the loss of a fair opportunity, males must not compete in the female categories of sport,” the report concluded.
Two Afghan asylum seekers have been charged over the alleged rape of a 12-year-old girl, which has left a small Midlands town reeling in shock, the Mail on Sunday can reveal.
Ahmad Mulakhil, 23, has been charged with the rape of the underage girl in Nuneaton, Warwickshire.
A second man, Mohammad Kabir, also 23, has been charged with aiding and abetting rape, as well as strangulation and kidnap of the girl, who is now receiving specialist care.
Despite the huge interest the incident has caused in Nuneaton, sources have told the Mail on Sunday that Warwickshire Police advised local councillors and officials not to reveal the asylum seeker background of the two suspects, for fear of ‘inflaming community tensions’.
One local who contacted us accused the police of a ‘cover-up’, in an effort to suppress information which the public have a right to know.
He said police feared Nuneaton would face similar violent protests that took place outside a migrant hotel in Epping, Essex, last month, after it emerged an asylum seeker staying there was charged with sexual assault, harassment and inciting a girl to engage in sexual activity.
The source said: ‘They’re hushing it up because they don’t want an Epping situation on their hands.’
But last night, Warwickshire Police defended its position, saying in a statement: ‘Where relevant, sensitive information around locations, details of the crime and policing activity to catch offenders can be shared, with a warning that this is sensitive or confidential information and disclosure by those being briefed could affect future court hearings.’

Multicultural neighbourhoods in Berlin are now home to Islamic imams giving marriage counselling to underage girls following a mass influx of Palestinians and other hardline Muslim migrants, an integration officer has claimed.
Güner Balci, a Turkish-born integration officer for the Berlin borough of Neukölln, told news magazine Der Spiegel that she has moved out of the neighbourhood where she grew up in the German capital so that her “daughter could develop freely” after the area became a hotbed for Islamism.
Balci said that when she grew up in Neukölln, there was only one mosque, but now around 30 are located in the area, many of which she claimed preach adherence to hardline Islam.
“I know of imams who offer marriage counselling for 14-year-old girls and find it acceptable for a man to take a second wife. If you look behind the structures, you quickly see: Ah, one mosque is financed from Qatar, the other has connections to the Islamist Muslim Brotherhood and so on,” she told the paper.
Balci, who is tasked with helping migrants integrate into Berlin society, said that while Neukölln was never “particularly woman-friendly”, the area has seen “culturally and religiously determined gender separation” be established and enforced by clan criminals and radical imams.
She said that it “began with the influx of Palestinian families from Lebanon” in the 1980s and has only continued to grow since.
“They brought with them a very patriarchal culture. The girls in this milieu were almost invisible; you actually only saw them when they took their younger siblings to kindergarten or went shopping with their mothers,” Balci said.
The Berlin integration officer said that politicians often fail to recognise what is happening before it’s too late to stop the process of transformation. Sometimes the government is even complicit, she said, claiming that a radical Shiite mosque in Neukölln is currently constructing a daycare centre with state funding.
“At the front, you can see women wearing black veils coming out – and a daycare centre is now to be built at the back? I don’t think that’s a good idea,” Balci warned.
It comes amid increasing concern over the failure of Muslim migrant communities to assimilate into European cultures.
According to a French government report published in May, the Muslim Brotherhood network specifically targets migrant communities to ensure adherence to strict Islamic practices like wearing the veil or observing Ramadan fasting.
The intelligence report found that the Muslim Brotherhood installs trained operatives in community roles ranging from local shops, sports groups, private education services, to even dating sites, with the purpose of “supervising the life of the Muslim”.
Additionally, the French government warned that the Islamic network has spent decades on a “Western conquest strategy” of infiltrating government institutions across the European Union to subvert democracy with the ultimate goal of instituting Sharia law. Germany was cited by the report as another key area of operation for the Muslim Brotherhood, given its history as one of the “first lands of establishment of the movement” in Europe.
