CULTURE OF DEATH: Physically Healthy Young Woman Suffering From Depression To Be Euthanized in the Netherlands, After ‘Doctors’ Say She’s ‘Never Gonna Get Any Better’

The culture of death continues to expand in many decadent western cultures, making Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide increasingly normalized options for people that seem plagued by the lack of competent healthcare.

In fact it’s become a kind of ‘vogue’, generating stories like this: Canadian Hospital Suggests Euthanasia to Suicidal Woman Who Went There For Help.

Or this: Euthanasia on the Rise: The Culture of Death Creates a High Tech ‘Sarcophagus’, While Suggesting ‘Assisted Suicide’ To Disabled People.

Of course, once the state is ok with that, people will want to illegally ‘expand’ the market: Ukrainian Man Selling Poison for Suicide on Online Forums Busted by British Media – Chemical Is Deadly Even In Small Doses, Responsible for Hundreds of UK Deaths.

The Netherlands is one of the leading nations pushing for these practices, having become the first to make assisted suicide legal back in 2001.

Since then, it’s become an increasingly ‘popular’ option among the population, with over 8 thousand deaths per year.

It is now reported that a physically healthy 28-year-old Dutch woman has decided ‘to legally end her life due to her struggles with crippling depression, autism and borderline personality disorder’.

Paris: A Russian from Chechnya with a record for Islamist dangerous persons is arrested after a police chase

On Monday April 1st, a Russian from Chechnya was arrested in the Seine-et-Marne department with an entry in the file of dangerous Islamist individuals after refusing to comply with orders, Le Parisien has learnt from police sources. The suspect had been spotted on the Place de la Bastille in Paris after running several red lights. In view of the driver’s dangerous behaviour, the police intervened and attempted to carry out a check.
However, the suspect fled. A police chase then began. Several vehicles were deployed to stop the man. However, the officers lost sight of the driver on the A4 motorway.

Thanks to the identification of the vehicle’s licence plate number, the suspect’s address was located in the Lagny-sur-Marne area in the Seine-et-Marne department. The officers discovered that the man also had an entry in the S file and, above all, that he had already been apprehended with a knife near the Eiffel Tower on March 18.

Officers from the Lagny-sur-Marne police station finally arrested the suspect at his home.
He allegedly tried to flee and then made statements regarding his S file. He was taken into police custody. Since the Vigipirate measures were raised to the highest level on March 25 following the attack in Moscow, the authorities have been keeping a very close eye on certain profiles.

British Museum Must NOT Return Artefacts. UK DISCOVERED & SAVED African, Asian and Indian History

The British Museum is reported to be having secret negotiations with foreign governments to return artefacts currently in its collection. Although forbidden from returning items by law, the Trustees of the Museum believe items can be returned if they are sent back on “long-term loan”. Historian and broadcaster Rafe Heydel-Mankoo argues this is a wrongheaded and anti-intellectual position. The BM is one of the 3 great “Encyclopaedic” museums covering global civilisation: The Louvre The Metropolitan Museum in NY The British Museum Their global collections speak to our shared humanity, placing treasures such as the Elgin Marbles or the Benin Bronzes into their wider global context. That used to be understood, he claims. Now, however, everything is reduced to ethnicity and the nation state. It is truly bizarre for these increasingly woke curators to prioritize nationalism above internationalism. The internationalist Left normally hate nationalism — at least when it relates to the West. When nationalism involves non-Western nations, however, they suddenly become keen enthusiasts. Rather than return items, Heydel-Mankoo thinks the British Museum should create a new, permanent exhibition explaining how Britain rediscovered the lost histories, civilisations and cultures of Asia & Africa. (Along with the French, etc.) For example, it was the British who rediscovered much of India’s ancient history. (It was the British who proved to the world that Buddha was in fact Indian, for instance, thus helping to restore Buddhism to India). Too little is known of Britain’s pioneering role in saving the world’s historic artefacts, teaching Asians and Africans the importance of appreciating and conserving their own history and – along with France, Germany and others – introducing these cultures to the rest of the world. Before the British arrived, Asians and Africans didn’t treat their historic buildings and artefacts with any reverence at all – not even the Taj Mahal. Many were in terrible states of disrepair and would now be lost to history had the European powers not saved and preserved them. The cultural treasures the British took home with them to study and show to the widest possible global audiences, are only a tiny fraction of what they salvaged, protected and left behind. What the British left behind they placed in museums, where the local population can view them to this day. We too often forget that most of the museums in Africa, Asia and elsewhere were founded by Europeans. They hold the vast majority of artefacts – not the British Museum.

Illinois Trans-Identified Male Pleads Guilty After Issuing Disturbing School Shooting, Child Rape Threats

Content Notice: This article contains direct quotes from federal indictment documents including themes of child sexual abuse, child sexualization, and child murder. Some may find other elements of the text, such as slurs, disturbing. Reader discretion is appreciated.

A trans-identified male in Illinois who threatened to commit a school shooting and rape children has pleaded guilty to one count of Interstate Communication with a Threat to Injure. Alexia Willie, also known as Jason Lee Willie, was arrested on August 14 after going on extended rants listing local children as targets.

As previously reported by Reduxx, Willie was arrested in Perry County, Illinois, after the Springfield-area FBI intercepted a live-stream on social media they deemed “suspicious.”

In the stream, which was broadcast through networking platform MeetMe, an individual later identified as Willie was seen making a number of disturbing threats towards schools and local children, specifically indicating there were plots in-progress to commit a school shooting, though no single institution was named.

The FBI later determined that Willie had been issuing the threats from the period of March to August of 2023, making obscene comments about harming children in the name of “transgender rights.”

In March, Willie was observed by a MeetMe user saying: “We’re out here walking into your school, shooting your children, and I’m going to tell you right now, I’m going to be one of them and the FBI isn’t gonna stop me. But I’m going to kill your children out here.”

Willie expressed a desire to carry out a copy-cat killing of the horrific shooting at the Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee. During that incident, a trans-identified female left 6 dead, 3 of whom were children aged 9, in an act of brutality that left the nation stunned.

“A person in Tennessee walked into one of your schools and shot up a bunch of your Christian daughters. That’s not the last of them if you don’t shut your fucking mouth. Shut the fuck up out here, you understand me?” Willie said, just weeks after the shooting had taken place.

“There’s a lot of transgenders out here that are tired of being picked on and we’re going to go into the schools and we’re going to kill their fucking children out here, and that’s the end of it. We’re at war.”

In another expletive-filled monologue, Willie also claimed to be a “pedophile” with intentions to sexually assault young girls.

“I guarantee I’ll be in the bathroom raping your Christian daughters and there ain’t nothing you faggots can do about it. You hear me?” Willie said in August of 2023.

From the March 20 statement of facts filed with the US District Court for the Southern District of Illinois.

“I’m in the bathroom feeling your little girls’ pussies. I love feeling on your little girls’ pussies. You can’t do nothing about it. I don’t care. I’m openly a pedophile. You guys can’t do nothing about us. You can cry. Put me on national television, I don’t care,” Willie boasted.

“I do what the fuck I wanna do you little fucking cunt. You little nasty fucking bitch. You little nasty fucking bitch,” Willie said, seemingly amused by the reaction of another MeetMe user who expressed outrage at his remarks. “Look how nasty you are. Look at you. We’re fucking your children and killing them. We’re fucking them and hurting them and killing them and you faggots can’t do nothing about us.”

During one MeetMe session, Willie was confronted by a woman who spoke with an accent and appeared to be of African descent. In response, Willie threatened to go to Uganda and murder members of the government, seemingly in retaliation for the nation’s Anti-Homosexuality Act 2023. The Act imposed harsh penalties for those accused of same-sex sexual assault on children or the vulnerable.

During another conversation in which Willie slammed Christianity and used racial slurs against African Americans, a woman told Willie that if she saw him in a church, she would not want to hurt him and would want to hug him in an apparent effort to extend empathy to the man.

Willie said to her: “We’re going to bomb them, we’re going to bomb them. We’re going to bomb the churches. We’re going to bomb them. You know it. We’re going to kill you motherfuckers.”

From the March 20 statement of facts filed with the US District Court for the Southern District of Illinois.

While Willie had initially been arrested in August by Perry County law enforcement, he was released less than 48 hours after being detained on a $0 bond. Speaking to Reduxx in October of 2023, Perry County Sheriff Chad Howard explained that local prosecutors had a difficult time laying charges.

Though he was initially charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, Sheriff Howard said the charges related to the threats against the schools were dropped due to a lack of specific target.

“Because there was no one individual person or individual school directly threatened, the disorderly conduct did not stick. It was not capable of being filed,” he said. Sheriff Howard also noted that he anticipated that the remaining resisting arrest charge would result in a simple fine.

“It’s more or less going to end up going to be a hearing. Now with the state of Illinois having the SAFE-T Act, which went into effect on September 18 [2023], those types of crimes are no longer containable. You just bring [a suspect] in for booking, processing, and biometrics and then you release them with a court date and it is all handled by the courts from there on out,” he said.

At the time, Sheriff Howard was unaware of any additional action pending against Willie, which made his November federal indictment come as a surprise to local law enforcement.

Willie was initially charged with 14 felony counts of Interstate Communication of a Threat to Injure, but the new plea agreement, filed on March 20, reveals that prosecutors agreed to drop 13 of the counts in exchange for a guilty plea.

While sentencing memorandums have not yet been submitted by the prosecution or defense, the plea agreement reveals that there have already been disagreements between the two sides on whether Willie will be eligible for any offense level reductions — something that will impact how much prison time he might be given.

The document also reveals that Willie does have a criminal history, which includes convictions for domestic assault and assault on a police officer from 2008.

Willie was referred to by “she/her” pronouns in the court records.

Orwell comes to France: Left-wing NGO Reporters Without Borders (RSF) seeks to censor conservative journalists in its home country

“Reporters Without Borders was created to defend pluralism. Today, it is an enemy of pluralism,” says Robert Ménard, a cofounder and long-time chief of Reporters without Borders, or Reporters sans frontières (RSF).

Ménard is now the mayor of Béziers, a city of some 90,000 inhabitants in southern France, where he was initially elected with the support of Marine Le Pen’s National Rally.

He was reacting to a breakthrough ruling by the Council of State, which is France’s highest administrative court, on Feb. 14. This ruling says that the country’s media authority ARCOM should closely monitor the plurality of views expressed on each TV channel.

Such obligation of plurality is enshrined in French law and is set as a condition for broadcasters to be given free slots on the digital terrestrial television network. What is new, however, is that the Council of State now says that ARCOM should monitor not only the exact television time granted to politicians of different parties on each channel but also classify all commentators and guests according to their views to ensure pluralism of views is also respected among them.

Such close surveillance of both public and private media by the state regulator is bound to cause headaches for editorial teams more than ARCOM itself, whose left-wing bias and submission to France’s executive is no secret.

A year ago, we informed Remix News readers about the threats addressed by France’s culture minister at CNews, the only news channel in France where conservative, right-wing views are regularly aired alongside others. Our report detailed how Roch-Olivier Maistre, the head of ARCOM, is described as “Macron-compatible” and docile by the French Observatory of Journalism, and the institution has a record of enforcing the will of the political majority who appoint its members. Maistre himself was appointed by President Macron. Six other members were appointed by the speakers of both houses of parliament, one by the Council of State, France’s top administrative court with very close links to the executive, and one by the Court of Cassation.

With both ARCOM and the Council of State having close links to government, and knowing their members can be rewarded with top civil servant posts in the government, it is no coincidence the breakthrough ruling by the latter is targeted primarily at CNews.

The reason Ménard lambasted RSF is that the plaintiff in the case at the heart of the Council of State’s ruling was none other than RSF, which demanded that ARCOM reconsider a complaint against CNews it had rejected.

Christophe Deloire, who is RSF’s incumbent secretary-general, does not hide his dislike for right-wing, conservative views. Invited on CNews to discuss his action and earlier assertions that the channel expresses undemocratic views, he heard from journalist and essayist Eric Naulleau that he “would never have believed that an association like RSF, which has fought for so many years for freedom of expression in countries where there is none, would now be fighting for people to be put on a political register.”

“There’s a syllogism-based crackdown on anything resembling dissent,” Naulleau told Deloire. “Anyone who deviates one iota from political correctness is classified as far right. Once everyone is classified as far right, you come along and say, ‘Look at CNews, they’re all far right.’ It’s not right, something has to be done!”

And it is indeed how RSF now works, not only in France but also worldwide, including when establishing its annual classification of press freedom in the world, where Central European countries with right-wing conservative governments are automatically relegated to positions way down the list.

What is worrying for France is that RSF Secretary-General Christophe Deloire has been appointed by President Macron as delegate-general of a newly created national convention on information, which is supposed to gather views from professionals, associations, and citizens that will give some appearance of legitimacy for making reforms that are officially meant to guarantee people’s access to information in the 21st century.

Similarly, however, the crackdown on CNews that is demanded by RSF is supposed to be a fight for pluralism, which Deloire summarizes with the following words on RSF’s website: “We don’t want to see an American-style democracy on the brink of civil war as a result of the dismantling of democratic protection for broadcasting, which has led to the polarization of the media.”

Making it clear that what RSF is trying to hamper by its action under Christophe Deloire’s leadership, whom Ménard himself calls a left-wing activist, RSF deputy director-general Thibaut Bruttin also rejoiced at the Council of State’s ruling, writing on RSF’s website: “Day after day, CNews is becoming a French-style Fox News, followed daily by over 8 million viewers, and dragging the audiovisual landscape into a society of commentary. The regulator’s laissez-faire attitude and the channel’s excesses, which have prevailed until now, are now coming to an unprecedented halt.”

This is quite an Orwellian approach to media pluralism where, in the eyes of Reporters Without Borders, the French authorities are supposed to enforce pluralism by putting an end to any kind of “polarization” of the media and by taming commentaries made on television.

While RSF rejoices at the Council of State’s February 14 ruling, even left-wing media in France have expressed their worries for press freedom and editorial independence. Among politicians, the founder of the far left party La France Insoumise (LFI), Jean-Luc Mélenchon, welcomed a decision that would make it possible to “face the CNews issue,” whereas the leader of center-right Les Républicains, (LR) Éric Ciotti, expressed concern about a forthcoming “inquisition looming over the opinions of columnists and journalists.”

As we learn from the French Observatory of Journalism, over half of RSF’s financial resources come from public subsidies that are mainly paid by the European Union, which gave RSF 1.4 million in 2021 alone. As for private contributors, a significant part of RSF’s revenues comes from George Soros’ Open Society Foundations, with 300,000 given just in 2021.

Apparently, the Council of State ruling won by RSF is already having a deterring effect on CNews. On Monday, the TV channel officially apologized after a commentator had said during a religious talk show taking place a day earlier that abortion is the leading cause of death in the world. This is a true fact, as 44 million human lives were taken away by abortions in 2023 alone, but it is the kind of truth you are not allowed to voice publicly in France.

In an almost Stalinist-style show of repentance and allegiance to the dominant ideology, CNews’ presenter Laurence Ferrari, who read CNews’ apology, even felt compelled to ensure that she could assure viewers that she is herself strongly in favor of enshrining the right to abort in the French constitution.

Pope Francis slams Archbishop Gänswein for ‘lack of nobility and humanity’ over Benedict XVI book

Pope Francis has criticized Archbishop Georg Gänswein for publishing his book Nothing but the Truth shortly after Pope Benedict XVI’s death, saying Gänswein lacked “nobility and humanity.”

In a book-length interview titled The Successor, which is set to be published in Spanish on April 3, Francis addressed his relationship with his predecessor, Pope Benedict XVI. During his interview with Spanish journalist Javier Martínez-Brocal, Francis said that he was “pained” when Gänswein, Pope Benedict XVI’s private secretary from 2003 until the pope emeritus’ death in 2022, published his book about his experiences living alongside Benedict that included criticism of some of Francis’ actions.

The publication of Nothing but the Truth on the day of Benedict’s funeral showed a “lack of nobility and humanity,” Francis said.

He stated that Benedict XVI’s former private secretary “did some very difficult things to me.”

In a likely reference to Gänswein, Francis claimed that some people within the Catholic Church used Pope Benedict XVI to attack him when they did not have good arguments by attributing “things to Benedict that are not true.”

Shortly after Benedict’s death, Gänswein said that Pope Francis’ restriction of the Traditional Latin Mass (TLM) caused Benedict “pain in his heart” and revealed in his book that Benedict thought the restrictions were “a mistake.”

Francis told Martínez-Brocal that he did not consult or warn Benedict about his decision to restrict the TLM and overturn his predecessor’s work, confirming Gänswein’s assertion that Benedict learned about Francis’s attack on the Latin Mass through the Vatican’s newspapers.

Pope Benedict expanded then-current permissions to celebrate the Traditional Latin Mass with his 2007 motu proprio Summorum Pontificum and said that the older form of the Roman Rite had never been abrogated. In a letter accompanying his motu proprio, Benedict wrote the following about the TLM: “What earlier generations held as sacred, remains sacred and great for us too, and it cannot be all of a sudden entirely forbidden or even considered harmful.”

However, on July 16, 2021, Pope Francis issued Traditionis Custodes, restricting the TLM and effectively abrogating Benedict’s Summorum Pontificum. Directly contradicting his still-living predecessor, Francis declared that the liturgy of Paul VI, or the Novus Ordo, is the “unique expression of the lex orandi of the Roman Rite.”

A few months after the publication of Gänswein’s book, Francis sent the German archbishop back to his home diocese of Freiburg, Germany, without assigning him any task or office.

Francis claimed that Benedict “never took his support away from me.”

“Maybe there was something I did that he did not agree with, but he never said so,” he added.

However, some of Benedict’s closest confidants, like Gänswein and Benedict’s biographer Peter Seewald, stressed how hurt and disappointed the pope emeritus was with some his successor’s decisions.

“Benedict trusted Francis. But he was bitterly disappointed several times,” Seewald said in an interview published in December 2023.

Seewald told the New Daily Compass that Francis “repeatedly spoke of the gifts of his predecessor, calling him a ‘great Pope’ whose legacy will become more evident from generation to generation.”

“But if one really speaks of a ‘great Pope’ out of conviction, shouldn’t one do everything possible to cultivate his legacy? Just as Benedict XVI did with regard to John Paul II? As we can see today, Pope Francis has done very little indeed to remain in continuity with his predecessors,” Seewald observed.

Addressing Francis’ treatment of Gänswein, Seewald said, “It makes him [Francis] untrustworthy.”

“One cannot, with the Bible in hand, constantly speak of brotherly love, mutual respect, and mercy and at the same time trample these virtues underfoot. The brutality and public humiliation with which a deserving man like Gänswein was dumped is unprecedented. Not even the custom of giving a word of thanks to a departing employee, as is customary in the smallest company, was observed.”

“The Pope downgraded Gänswein, but he meant the one for whom Gänswein stands,” Seewald said in an apparent reference to Francis’ attack on Benedict’s legacy.

Scottish police receive more than 3,000 complaints in just 24 hours under new hate crime laws

JK Rowling is among those to have criticised the bill Screen grab youtube

Police Scotland has received more than 3,000 complaints since new hate crime laws were introduced north of the border on Monday.

Ex-general secretary of the Scottish Police Federation Callum Steele claimed around 3,800 cases were lodged over the previous 24 hours.

However, Police Scotland were warned the Hate Crime and Public Order (Scotland) Act could result in a surge of cases.

First Minister Humza Yousaf oversaw the passage of the controversial legislation while serving as Justice Secretary in Nicola Sturgeon’s Government.

The legislation only came into force on Monday, with officers north of the border needing time to undergo training.

David Kennedy, current general secretary of the Scottish Police Federation, said: “My feedback is there’s lots of complaints coming in.

“It’s going to be a few weeks until we see how it’s affecting reporting mechanisms.”

The legislation means an offence takes place if a person communicates material or behaves in a manner that a “reasonable person would consider to be threatening or abusive”, with the intention of stirring up hatred based on the protected characteristics.

It also extends to include offences around racist abuse to other grounds on the basis of age, disability, religion, sexual orientation or transgender identity.

However, an amendment to add sex to the list of protected characteristics was voted down when the legislation was being considered at Holyrood.

Harry Potter author JK Rowling sparked controversy after warning Police Scotland against “going after” women who misgendered trans people.

She said: “If they go after any woman for simply calling a man a man, I’ll repeat that woman’s words and they can charge us both at once.”

Rowling, who lives in the Scottish capital Edinburgh, later revealed she was “reassured” by the force’s announcement that her stance that trans women are really men was not criminal.

The 58-year-old also sparked a row with trans TV personality India Willoughby after sharing an image of 10 high-profile trans people and ridiculing their claims to be women.

Willoughby said: “JK Rowling has deliberately tweeted hateful transphobia – and Police Scotland instantly cave.

“There was intent behind it. She insulted named individuals because they were trans. She did it to hurt, and will now do it even more.”

In a statement issued on Tuesday afternoon, a Police Scotland spokesman said: “We have received complaints in relation to the social media post.

“The comments are not assessed to be criminal and no further action will be taken.”

Tory MSP Murdo Fraser also weighed in on the row as he prepares to take legal action against Police Scotland for posting a tweet comparing non-binary people with those who identify as cats.

The Mid Scotland & Fife MSP, whose post was recorded as a non-crime hate incident, said: “Presumably, in line with current policy, which I am challenging as unlawful, these complaints will now be recorded as non-crime hate incidents.”

Polish Government proposes prison for LGBT defamation

Nosta Lgia

The Polish Government has published a draft bill which, if it becomes law, would make comments about LGBT people that are found offensive punishable by up to three years in prison.

The proposed legislation has been piloted by deputy justice minister Krzysztof Śmiszek of the Left party, which is part of the coalition Government with Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s Civic Coalition and the Third Way alliance.

The planned move was declared a priority by activists who said LGBT people have insufficient legal protection against so-called “hate speech”.

The draft published by the government information centre (CIR) widens the catalogue of discriminatory criteria to include disability, age, sexual orientation and gender identification.

Śmiszek said: “The introduction of the draft is to ensure full protection to victims in the penal code against the use of force, threats, incitement of hatred and defamation based on disability, age, sexual orientation or gender identity.”

If it becomes law, it will include penalties of between three months to five years in prison for acts of violence or the threat of the use of force based on discrimination. Other penalties include up to three years in prison defamation based on discrimination against sexual orientation or gender identification.

Paweł Szafraniec, who works for the conservative think-tank Ordo Iuris, told Brussels Signal:“There is no definition of the term ‘hate speech’ in this legislation, only a listing of the categories of people is intended to protect.

“These definitions are nowhere to be found in international treaties or verdicts of international courts. International organisations have been attempting to formulate such definitions but they are not binding for their Member States.”

Szafraniec said of potential definitions: “They tend to be very broad and dangerous for the freedom of speech, information and expression, therefore they pose a challenge to human and civil rights.”

He observed that “hate speech” was not as yet defined in Poland’s penal code but warned of the risks.

“Let’s not kid ourselves: The aim of this legislative draft is not to protect LGBT people but to provide a stick for dealing with opponents of the LGBT movement, to stop them publishing research which questions the demands being made by LGBT activists.

“It’s a political measure designed to shut people up and thereby to block freedom of speech,” he said.

The legislative draft is likely to clear both the Chambers of Parliament where the ruling coalition has a majority but will probably be vetoed by President Andrzej Duda as he is a supporter of the Conservatives (PiS) whose members are set to oppose the proposed law.

In its time in office, the PiS opposed LGBT sex education in schools. Some Polish local authorities drew the ire of the European Commission when they passed resolutions supporting a “Charter for families” that sought to keep “LGBT ideology” out of schools.

LGBT activists claimed the PiS was proposing “LGBT-free zones” with one activist, Bart Staszewski, posting photographs of himself standing under a sign he erected reading “LGBT-free zone”.

Tusk’s party, the Left party and many in the Third Way alliance support the introduction of legislation to legalise same-sex unions as civil partnerships, although the Polish Constitution defines marriage as a union between a man and a woman.

How the Transgender Movement Fuels Conspiracy Theories

Ask anyone in your life to define a ‘conspiracy theory,’ and you’ll likely get a different answer. From elections to vaccines, from the ‘deep state’ to Ukraine, there is only one thing that most people now agree on: that establishment narratives are false. There are a range of key contributing factors to this—the internet and social media, the collapse of trust in institutions, increasing polarization, and much more. But one prominent issue that has proven to be a catalyst for all these trends has been largely ignored: the rise of the transgender movement.

What do I mean by a ‘catalyst’? A catalyst is “an agent that provokes or speeds significant change or action.” Thus, the change is already occurring, but the catalyst accelerates it. The transgender agenda, which has been imposed from the top down by the establishment in just a few short years—government, the press, the entertainment industry, academia, and activists—has radically increased distrust in institutions and increased polarization by destroying the common ground where compromise has traditionally been possible. If we can’t even agree on basic biology, what can we agree on?

Progressives seem oddly blind to the effect their radicalism on this issue has on ordinary people. Police bulletins featuring photos of bearded male rapists identifying them as ‘women’; men identifying as women being sent to female prisons; males with all of the male equipment (‘her penis’) competing against girls in sports; sex change ‘treatments’ for minors; and the never-ending insistence that all of this is normal, that nothing has changed, and that we are bigoted for pointing out that this is all very new and even those of us in our early thirties remember when it was different—all of this has a profoundly radicalizing effect in turn.

The reply from the progressive establishment has been censorship, demonization, and a threatening question: Who are you going to believe—us or your lying eyes? When average people in possession of common sense see the experts and elites aggressively pushing absurd things, most reach one of two conclusions:

Option 1: These people actually believe what they are saying, and thus their judgment is so impaired and their worldview so corrupt that their expertise, reporting, or statements on any matter at all cannot be trusted.

Option 2: These people do not believe what they are saying, in which case they are going along with a radical ideology with profound social consequences under pressure from activists—which means they would go along with pretty much anything in similar conditions and cannot be trusted.

The latter view is very common. I know of prominent politicians who have said in private that they do not believe the claims of gender ideology, but they go along with it because they feel they must. From the corporate world to academia to the halls of power, there are many who do not believe that men can become women or that we should be offering sex change ‘treatments’ to children but still obediently supply their pronouns and play along because they fear the power of the transgender movement, which reacts fiercely to any sign of public dissent (remember the Scottish construction worker who got a huge fine for laughing at a man dressed as a woman on the street?).

The adoption of gender ideology as dogma by the establishment has gutted their credibility by making them appear ridiculous, evil, or both. A frequent retort in online debates about the COVID vaccine, for example, was people pointing out that the same leaders urging everyone to get the jab were supporting sex change surgeries for minors. The short version of this retort is ‘pronouns in bio,’ the implication being that anyone who supplies his or her pronouns is a victim of complete ideological capture. Indeed, the very people who told us to ‘follow the science’ were also insisting that the ‘science’ affirmed the necessity of chemical castration for gender dysphoric children.

Consequently, many people now approach all establishment narratives with a hermeneutic of suspicion. No matter how far-fetched a given conspiracy theory might seem, it will not be as far-fetched as the idea that there are now 72 genders. In fact, considering which narratives the progressive establishment defends most fiercely, it seems to many that the only truly credulous position to take would be that of leaders who cannot even define what a woman or a man is, who reject established science on issues of ideology, and gaslight us when we try to point that out. To many, taking medical advice from folks who also promote puberty blockers, abortion, hormonal birth control, and euthanasia seems frankly stupid.

My point here is not to endorse or rebut any particular theory or even the hermeneutic of suspicion as default—I’ve written on many of these issues elsewhere. I am merely observing the fact that by embracing the transgender agenda and imposing it on our societies, the progressive establishment has demolished their own credibility—and largely eliminated their ability to be persuasive through hectoring, argumentation, or accusations of ‘disinformation.’

Bluff Called: Police Scotland Won’t Charge J.K. Rowling over Trans Comments, Author Vows to Stand With Any Woman Who Calls ‘A Man a Man’

screen grab youtube

J.K. Rowling won a significant victory over Scotland’s new speech restrictions after daring the police to arrest her over comments criticising transgender ideology, as Police Scotland said they would not take criminal actions against the Harry Potter author after activists reported her statements to law enforcement.

Successfully calling the bluff of the leftist government of First Minister Humza Yousaf, J.K. Rowling struck a stinging blow against the oppressive Hate Crime and Public Order (Scotland) Act, after she goaded the police to arrest her as the bill came into law on Monday for insisting that transgender “women” are in reality still men.

For this statement, Rowling was already reported to Police Scotland for potentially breaching the new speech codes, which carry a prison sentence of up to seven years for “stirring up hatred” against protected groups, including the disabled, ethnic minorities, and the so-called LGBT community.

However, after receiving the reports, Police Scotland said per the Scottish Daily Express that officers will not take action against Rowling as the comments were “not assessed to be criminal.”

Responding, Rowling, wrote on X: “I hope every woman in Scotland who wishes to speak up for the reality and importance of biological sex will be reassured by this announcement, and I trust that all women – irrespective of profile or financial means – will be treated equally under the law.”

The feminist author and resident of Scotland went on to vow that she would stand by any other woman who runs afoul of the new speech codes, saying: “If they go after any woman for simply calling a man a man, I’ll repeat that woman’s words and they can charge us both at once.”

Previously, Scottish government minister Siobhian Brown suggested that “misgendering” transgender individuals online could lead to charges under the new law, however, said that it would be up to the discretion of the police.

Meanwhile, Police Scotland also announced that First Minister Humza Yousaf — the driving force behind the hate speech law — will also not face criminal charges after members of the public reported the leftist politician for a 2020 speech in parliament in which he complained that there were too many white people in the Scottish government following the killing of George Floyd in the United States.

The force said that it did not find anything within his comments to be “threatening, abusive or insulting” and claimed that there was no “malice or ill will displayed towards any person or group”.

A Police Scotland spokesman also previously noted that the hate crime legislation only covers comments made after midnight on April 1st of this year and, therefore, Mr Yousaf could not have been charged for his comments in 2020, regardless.

Despite criticism coming from all sides of the political divide, including from left-wing figures such as Rowling and liberals like comedian Joe Rogan, Yousaf has attempted to brand all opposition to the speech codes as “right-wing” attacks.

Yousaf also suggested on Tuesday that allegedly racist graffiti found near his home justified the imposition of the restrictions on speech in Scotland.

“I do my best to shield my children from the racism and Islamophobia I face on a regular basis. That becomes increasingly difficult when racist graffiti targeting me appears near our family home,” he wrote on social media.

“A reminder of why we must, collectively, take a zero-tolerance approach to hatred.”
