German police officer convicted of discrimination for asking Afghan migrant where he ‘really’ came from

A police officer in Germany has been convicted of racial discrimination for asking an Afghan migrant where he “really” came from after stopping him for talking on his mobile phone while riding a motorbike.

The Mitte District Court in Berlin ruled on April 15 that the officer’s line of questioning was discriminatory after pulling over the man during an incident dating back to July 2020.

A police report from the time stated that Syed N. and his girlfriend were pulled over for using their mobile phones while on the motorbike, an accusation denied by the couple.

The officer handed the man riding the motorbike a €50 fine which he reportedly refused to pay and became “short-tempered.”

During an identity check, the man provided a health insurance card. When asked where he was from, he replied, “Bochum.” The police officer then asked where he was “really” from, attempting to ascertain the man’s country of origin, which was Afghanistan.

Following the incident, the Afghan national filed a discrimination complaint with the local police force claiming he had been unfairly treated and taking issue with the line of questioning.

The resulting investigation by the ombudsman’s office found the officer’s questioning had a “discriminatory and harassing effect,” and in September 2021, the Berlin police offered a formal apology to the migrant and withdrew the €50 fine.

However, unsatisfied with this outcome, Syed N. sued the police officer in question for discrimination, a lawsuit that was successful.

The Berlin court ruled in favor of the man, judging the question constituted discrimination and ordered the police force to pay the man €750 in compensation.

Speaking to the Taz news outlet following the ruling, the man said, “It has become clear that, despite a complaint from the supervisory authority, the police do not perceive discrimination as such — as of today. There should be more awareness here.”

A police spokeswoman explained that “compensation offers were made several times” as part of the complaint and lawsuit process, but added this settlement proposal was withdrawn during the legal proceedings after the facts of the incident as understood by the police department “were different than those presented there by the plaintiff.”

UK: African child rapist will not be deported after claiming it would harm his mental health despite sick attack decade ago

Last week, deportation dodger Anicet Mayela pled guilty to the rape of a 15-year-old girl GBNews

A child rapist is allowed to stay in the UK after he argued that deportation would harm his mental health.

The man, who was jailed for attacking a teenage girl, was due to be kicked out and sent back to his native Eritrea in 2014.

However, he appealed the ruling, stating that he would not be able to be treated for depression or PTSD in the East African country.

A doctor said last month that the man, who cannot be named, would be more likely to take his own life if he returned to Eritrea.

His appeal was thus upheld, with the doctor adding that he would likely be punished if he returned to his country for evading military draft.

The decision to allow the appeal was made despite a security report finding that he posed a medium risk to the public if he lived freely in the UK.

Tory MP Nigel Mills told The Sun: “This man committed a serious criminal offence and should be nowhere near this country.

“If he was concerned about losing mental health treatment or being arrested for fleeing the draft, he should have thought about that before he committed the crime.

“This decision is another sign the tribunal system is deeply out of touch with the rest of Britain.”

The verdict comes just days after an asylum seeker, who avoided deportation after his flight was blocked by cabin crew, pled guilty to the rape of a 15-year-old girl.

Anicet Mayela, 40, arrived in the UK in 2004 after paying an “agent” to smuggle him out of Africa, where he claimed he was in danger.

The Congolese national became well-known amongst anti-deportation campaigners due to his protests outside of detention signs and his use of human rights laws to fight his return back to his home country.

Mayela could now face up to life in prison after he admitted to the offence, which Oxford Crown Court heard last week had an extreme level of “dangerousness” to it.

Two attempts were carried out to deport Mayela, with the second being thwarted by cabin crew from Air France.

Their intervention came amid claims that Mayela had been handcuffed and had his legs bound by deportation minders, resulting in his hand being broken.

Lawyers then said that to deport him would be to go against his human rights, so Mayela won leave to remain, whilst the police investigated the handlers for alleged assault.

Regarding the cabin crew’s interference, a source close to Home Secretary James Cleverly told The Sun that people “with no knowledge” of the circumstances of those for whom “they suddenly decide to intervene… can have appalling consequences for others”.

Spanish PM Sánchez is a pupil of ‘narco-chavist dictatorships’, rival claims

Santiago Abascal,screen grab youtube

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez is a student of “narco-chavist dictatorships”, the leader of Spain’s VOX party, Santiago Abascal, has claimed.

Abascal claimed that his Socialist Party rival represented “the European paradigm of corruption, the suppression of liberties and attacks on public property”.

Speaking at the opening of a joint event between the conservative group’s think-tank, Fundación Disenso, and the American conservative group, the Heritage Foundation, Abascal described the premier as an “advanced pupil of narco-chavist dictatorships, Xi Jinping’s China and Iran’s theocratic regime”.

The dangers posed by such politicians, he continued, were not limited to just Spain.

“Freedom is not in good health on both sides of the Atlantic,” claimed Abascal during the April 19 event.

He argued that Socialist-led governments across the world “use” international organisations to “put a democratic disguise on their anti-liberties, anti-Rule of Law agendas”.

“Our nations are under threat,” he added.

Abascal also denounced Sánchez’s alleged proximity to the left-leaning governments of Brazil and Colombia.

VOX has maintained that Spain is the only European Member State to have communists among its governing coalition.

According to Abascal: “The Atlantic community must be morally stronger to defend liberty and sovereignty.”

In his speech, he also referred to the situation in the Middle East, saying: “The positions some international organisations have taken against Israel is unsettling.”

The Spanish Government is lobbying hard for the recognition of Palestine as a State. Sánchez has said this would be the “first commitment” of the new legislative term.

Abascal has previously claimed that the dominance of left-wing groups across Europe would not last, and that the “winds of change” are blowing in the EU.

Despite losing more than 15 MPs in last year’s Spanish general election, VOX is now optimistic about its prospects in the upcoming June 9 European Parliament elections.

According to Abascal, “patriotic and conservative forces” would be able to determine the direction of the EU in issues such as migration and security.

He said a change in the leadership of the US Government also “presents an opportunity”.

Heritage Foundation’s James Carafano agreed with this last point, saying that a conservative president “would bring about a change in American foreign policy”.

VOX is putting great effort into its international relations development. In February, Abascal met former US president Donald Trump during a four-day visit to Washington where he spoke at the CPAC Conference.

Abascal also had meetings in December with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Hungary Prime Minister Viktor Orbán to “outline strategies” ahead of the European Parliament elections.

Paris: A demonstration by Afghan migrants escalates in the Rue de Charonne; the media barely report on these events (Videos)

Leaders of the right-wing parties, the RN and Reconquête have gone public to denounce the violent scenes that took place in the capital on April 20 on the fringes of a demonstration. Some of them regretted that the media had barely covered these events.

Riots on the fringes of a demonstration in honour of the victims of the fire in Rue de Charonne.

According to the Paris Prefecture of Police, the escalated demonstration was a commemoration of the victims of the fire on Rue de Charonne on April 7, 2024. In this case, as Le Parisien recently reported, the tenant of the flat affected by the fire is suspected of having shot two of his guests, including one of his Afghan compatriots, before setting fire to the scene to remove the traces of his crime. Three people died in the tragedy, for which a criminal connection is favoured.

Medals of top 4 athletes at Beijing Half Marathon taken back after probe revealed that 3 African runners slowed down to let Chinese competitor win

The top four finishers of the Beijing Half Marathon were stripped of their medals following an investigation which revealed that three African runners slowed down deliberately near the finishing line to let a Chinese competitor win, as per the organisers, reported by CNN.

China’s He Jie crossed the finishing line with the timings of 1:03:44 and clinched a gold medal and a cash prize of 5,500 USD. The African trio fell just one second short of victory and secured a joint-second place.

A video clip of the finish showed Kenya’s Willy Mnangat turning towards He and gestured him to move ahead as four men were running neck-to-neck. Robert Keter, a former 5 km world record holder, also a Kenyan athlete, waved at He to overtake the trio and signalled his compatriot and Ethipia’s Dejene Hailu to hang back.

The video caused a lot of uproar in China and many called for investigation and action from organisers.

In a statement issued on Friday, the organising committee of the marathon said that the three runners, “actively slowed down in the last 2 kilometers and as a result He Jie won the men’s championship.”

The results of all four athletes along with their trophies, medals and bonuses will be revoked, added the statement.

The three African runners were invited to join the race as pacemakers by Chinese sports company Xtep, which sponsored both He and the marathon, as per committee. But Xtep could not note the trio as pacemakers to the race operator, Zhong’ao Lupao Beijing Sports Management company, the committee said.

The committee disqualified the operator from hosting the Beijing Half Marathon banned Xtep from hosting more races this season.

In a statement issued on Friday, Xtep “sincerly apologised” to all the competitors and its customers.

“We bear a great responsibility for this, fully accept the punishment decision made by the organizing committee,” it said, vowing to “reflect seriously and conduct a deep review” to “ensure such incidents do not happen again in the future.”

He, 25 years of age, has broken the records of Chinese marathon twice within past two years and is considered as one of the best long-distance runners of his country. He is ranked 74th in world rankings by World Athletics and is expected to lead the Asian runners during the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Greedy hand of government goes wild in Massachusetts: ‘Basically, we’re going after everyone who has money’

By Monica Showalter

Want another reason to flee Massachusetts?

Here’s another reason, meet its state Transportation Secretary, Monica Tibbits-Nutt, telling her state’s residents what she plans to do to them:

According to the Commonwealth Beacon:

STATE TRANSPORTATION Secretary Monica Tibbits-Nutt promised an “unfiltered me” in an address to the advocacy group Walk Massachusetts last week – and she followed through on her pledge.

Using frank language rarely heard on Beacon Hill, Tibbits-Nutt weighed in on a series of major policy issues. She talked about how she would raise more money for transportation, with one option being the installation of toll gantries at the state’s borders with neighboring states. She promised to do more to address traffic fatalities by urging law enforcement to issue more speeding citations. And she said she would not support a layover facility for commuter rail trains as part of the I-90 Allston multimodal project, handing neighborhood activists a major victory.

The secretary promised to be aggressive in pursuing change even in the face of strong opposition. To buttress that point, she said she will not spend any time making decisions with the goal of hanging on to her job. She also said Gov. Maura Healey has her back. “This governor likes fights. She does. She loves to fight,” Tibbits-Nutt said, according to a video of her talk on the Walk Massachusetts website.

“This [task force] is actually different because we’re not censoring it,” she said. “I’m going to talk about tolling. I’m going to talk about charging TNCs [transportation network companies like Uber and Lyft] more. I’m going to talk about potentially charging more for package deliveries, charging more for payroll tax — basically going after everybody who has money. And when I’m talking tolling, I’m talking at the borders. I’m not talking within Massachusetts.”

She added: “We’re going after all the people who should be giving us money to make our transportation better and our communities better.”

She’s talking about separating anyone “who has money” from their money. Because it’s her money, see, and those who earned that money better hand it over “to make our communities better.”

Obviously, she revels in her calls to raise taxes and tolls, much the way Walter Mondale once did when he challenged the great Ronald Reagan in the election of 1984. Mondale, a dour Scandinavian type from Minnesota, though, didn’t quite project the glee at taking from others that Tibbits-Nutt does. But we all know how voters responded to him.

Howie Carr says she has a history of this:

Here are some of the cabinet secretary’s fondest dreams:

  • Increasing the state payroll tax.
  • Jacking up local excise taxes.
  • New tolls on all highways leading into Massachusetts.
  • Forcing working-class drivers out of their pick-up trucks, which she claimed are “basically” 18-wheelers.
  • Charging more for Uber/Lyft rides, and for package-delivery services.
  • Writing more speeding tickets, and suspending more drivers’ licenses, and forcing motorists to appeal the loss of their licenses at the state’s kangaroo-court hearings.
  • Using state policy to bludgeon citizens into submission to the Deep State — “I’ll 100 percent use it as a weapon.”

Remember, among other things, Tibbits-Nutt is suggesting cracking down on law-abiding motorists in a state where criminal illegal aliens with no licenses are allowed to drive at will, in unregistered, uninsured, uninspected low riders with absolutely no consequences whatsoever.

But for taxpaying American motorists, here’s what the Democrats have in store for you:

“We’re getting really, really aggressive. We are pushing for less warnings, more citations. I’m telling you, nothing slows down someone real quick like getting your license suspended.”

She continued:

“The beauty is we can be in charge of that too ‘cause we will 100 percent take your license. We have absolutely no problem doing that. Feel free to appeal this in a hearing.”

Sound like the kind of state you’d like to live in?

A lot of people in Massachusetts don’t think so. They’re fleeing “in droves,” as the Boston Globe put it, in one of the highest blue-exodus states in the country.

According to the Globe in a piece dated April 18:

Now, a new report has shed some light on who, exactly, these runaways are. And it probably does not bode well for the state’s long-term economic competitiveness.

Boston Indicators, the research arm of the Boston Foundation, published an analysis exploring trends in so-called domestic outmigration in Massachusetts, or people leaving for elsewhere in the United States. Looking at a two-year average across 2021 and 2022, the analysis found that the people moving out of Massachusetts were predominantly white, middle- and high-income earners, and college-educated.

Particularly dire: Working-age adults are leaving in droves. On net, Massachusetts lost an average of 22,631 people ages 25 to 44 across 2021 and 2022 — the largest number of any age group and a marked increase over previous years, according to the report. For perspective, that’s about the size of the population of Winchester.

Working age people with education are the ones who want out, the actual taxpayers.

The actual loss in the last year is in the neighborhood of 300,000 and 400,000 people (all of their numbers are divvied up by demographics, so some could overlap), with net “international” migration (read: illegals) making up for about 50,000 of the losses, according to their charts.

The Wicked Witch of the West-style glee of this kakistocrat who is coming for the residents’ glass slippers isn’t going to keep anyone staying in that state. In fact, it’s going to drive more of them out. When someone can’t be thrown out of power for getting powermad in a one-party state, the only solution is to vote with one’s feet.

BRAZIL AWAKENS: Hundreds of Thousands Gather in Rio’s Copacabana Beach Against Dictatorship and in Support of Bolsonaro! (VIDEOS)

It’s a picture-perfect Autumn Sunday Morning, the kind that makes Rio de Janeiro one of the most celebrated cities in the world, the ‘Cidade Maravilhosa’ (City of Wonders).

On a day like that, it’s no wonder that people would flock to the beach.

But today, many people are not going to the famed Copacabana to be lazing on a Sunday morning; instead, they are gathering in yet another MASS demonstration against the socialist tyranny, in defense of democracy and in support of former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro.

This comes right after the whole country became aware of the controversy pitting tech billionaire Elon Musk against the local Censorship Industrial Complex, led by a rogue Supreme Court and its self-appointed dictator, justice Alexandre de Moraes.

In the last few months, Brazilians watched as Bolsonaro, the greatest political leader, has been harassed, had his house raided, his passport taken, and his political rights suspended.

Meanwhile, the illegitimate President Lula da Silva leads a failing government rapidly destroying whatever economic stability we achieved under Bolsonaro’s no-nonsense administration.

Two months ago, a similar demonstration was held in the Streets of São Paulo, Brazil’s largest city and economic powerhouse. It gathered around 900,000 citizens to repudiate the socialist maneuvers to frame Bolsonaro for imaginary crimes (see link at the end of this post).

Lula was furious with the success of the São Paulo demonstration and wanted to stage a counter-rally, but his absolute lack of popular support meant that he could not.

But that didn’t stop him or his allies in the judiciary to keep harassing Bolsonaro and his followers, trying to institute a veritable dictatorship with the ridiculous excuse of ‘protecting the democracy’.

It is as they say in the US: ‘elections have consequences, and stolen elections have catastrophic consequences.’

But the Brazilian people have awakened, and it’s no coincidence that this is taking place on the holiday dedicated to Tiradentes (translatable as pull-teeth), the martyr for Brazilian independence.

It is as our national anthem says: ‘in thy bosom – O freedom, our chest challenges death itself’.
