A Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorist confessed that he raped a ‘terrified’ Israeli woman and murdered civilians during the October 7th Hamas-led terror attack. The confession video of the captured PIJ terrorist was shared by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) in the early hours of Friday (29th March).

The PIJ terrorist identified as Manar Qassem was captured by the IDF earlier this month in Khan Younis. He told the investigator that he was a member of Islamic Jihad’s naval forces. 

The Military Intelligence Directorate’s Unit 504 which specialises in HUMINT (Human Intelligence) carried out the interrogation. When asked what he did during the October 7th terror attack, Qassem (28) gave a detailed response including how he breached Israeli territory, raped and killed Israeli civilians. 

Qassem revealed that he along with his accomplice, Mahmoud Al Khush, entered Israel through a border breach in the Gaza fence between the Khan Younis area towns of al-Fukhkhari and Khuza’a. He added that he was armed with a handgun and two grenades while another terrorist, Mahmoud Khush had an AK 47. 

He further stated that when he got to the unnamed kibbutz in Southern Israel, he went into the nearest house where he found a woman who was startled and asking for help.

He recalled the details regarding what the victim looked like and what she was wearing, Qassem told the interrogators, “I took her and threw her on the couch.”

The PIJ terrorist added, “The devil took over me, I laid her down, started undressing her, and did what I did.” 

When the interrogator further asked what he had done to her, Qassem responded by saying, “I slept with her.”

Pressed again by the interrogator, Qassem confessed, “I raped her.” He added, “She pushed me, it didn’t last long… Two minutes. Maybe a minute and a half.” 

According to Qassem, by that time, two members of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades terror group entered the home as well. They kept the victim together with her mother for a short while, before they took both of them out of the house. 

Qassem claimed that he was left alone after which he decided to head back to the Gaza Strip. He also confessed to killing innocent Israeli civilians. He told the investigator that he heard gunshots and then shot one Israeli man near him before throwing one of his grenades and fleeing the kibbutz.

While the officials did not say anything about the fate of the woman, the latter comment suggested she did not survive, Times of Israel reported.

The IDF asserted that the footage is “further proof of the onslaught of murder and sexual violence by the terrorist organisations on October 7th, in an attempt to make the voices of those who can no longer be heard.”

Notably, the IDF released the video three weeks after the United Nations envoy on sex crimes during conflict submitted a report at the UN. The report pointed out that rape and gang rape likely occurred during the 7th October Hamas-led terrorist attack in Southern Israel.  

The 24-page report was submitted after conducting meetings on the ground for more than two weeks. It stated there are “reasonable grounds” to believe that Hamas committed rape and sexual abuse during its murderous rampage on October 7 and that there is an even higher standard of evidence to indicate that hostages kidnapped by Hamas that day were subject to rape in captivity. 

Additionally, in an interview published earlier this week in the New York Times, Freed hostage Amit Soussana said that she was sexually assaulted by a Hamas guard during her captivity in Gaza.

Israel Hamas war

On 7th October 2023, thousands of Hamas terrorists, through land, air, and sea invaded Southern Israel and killed over 1,200 people including babies, kidnapped over 253 Israeli and foreign nationals, and raped and paraded women. In retaliation, the IDF has claimed that it has killed over 13,000 terrorists in Gaza, in addition to some 1,000 who were killed inside Israel on and immediately following the 7th October terror attack.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that the US has authorised the transfer of 2,000 bombs and 25 F-35 jets worth billions of dollars to Israel amid speculations of a possible Israeli military offensive near Gaza’s Rafah border.

 Martin Durkin’s new film Climate: The Movie (The Cold Truth) opens a hot topic with some very spicy takes.

“This is the story of how an eccentric environmental scare grew into a powerful global industry” – so says Durkin’s voice-over, following a reprise of Greta Thunberg’s infamous “How dare you!” speech. The imagery of those deathly pale women in their blood-red costumes cat-walking doom for the cameras fades into whirling wind farms, followed by some striking claims.

One, from the co-founder of Greenpeace, sets the tone: “There’s no such thing as a climate emergency on this planet.”

Climate scam: Global control?

The film directly challenges the claim that CO2 levels from human activity are causing runaway climate change and shows how the livelihoods of climate scientists and a host of green advocates rely on keeping this narrative alive – despite the facts. Professor Steven Koonin of NYU asks on behalf of the climate science industry: “If CO2 is not having this impact – how are we going to stay in business?”

Precisely what that business is, and how it is maintained, is also the subject of a film whose central premise is that the world is in fact entering a period of cooling. Patrick Moore, the co-founder of environmental campaign group Greenpeace, says the presence of the polar ice caps shows that “this is an ice age. We’re at the tail end of a 50-million-year cooling period, and they’re saying it’s too hot.”

It is an opinion shared by noted scientists featured in the film, such as Professor Koonin.

This is an inconvenient truth, Durkin argues, which explains the rising alarmism from the green lobby.

“The climate alarm is nonsense. It’s a hoax” – so says William Happer, emeritus professor of physics at Princeton. “I think ‘scam’ is a better word – but I am willing to live with ‘hoax.’”

So why is it being pursued? According to Happer, “it’s a wonderful way to increase government power. If there’s an existential threat out there that’s worldwide. Well, you need a powerful worldwide government.”

Alongside other claims in the film that “activists are calling for the criminalization of climate skepticism,” Happer observes that “we see all these kinds of authoritarian measures being adopted, in the name of saving the planet. You’ve suddenly got the population under control all over the world.”

Yet power is not the only motive – there is also profit – for some. Professor John Clauser, who won the Nobel Prize for Physics in 2022, warns of how “there are not only billions but trillions of dollars at stake.”

Fear, power, and profit

Durkin is no stranger to climate controversy, with his 2007 film The Great Global Warming Swindle being praised in the British Parliament for showing how “anyone not agreeing with the orthodoxy of how climate change levy comes about sees their public funding drying up.”

The motion, supported by seven Conservative MPs, also noted “that one of the contributors [to the film] received a death threat.”

The climate of fear looks set to intensify, with Durkin’s new film showing how the science we are told to follow is made by an inhuman agenda of mandated poverty, food shortages, and depopulation – as this 2023 piece from Spiked makes clear.

Man-made climate of opinion

Yet the tide outside the climate skeptical movement may also be turning.

Durkin gave a pre-release interview on March 14 to the UK’s Daily Telegraph. He told the hosts that the climate science we are told to follow is another example of a locked-down discourse presented as a debate.

“We have such an enormously powerful, publicly funded establishment that is able to control, directly or indirectly, what we hear, what we read, what we’re taught, what is okay to think, and what’s not okay to think,” he said.

The exclusion of dissent has manufactured the scientific “consensus” for the climate agenda.

“The frustrating thing for scientists in this area is you’re not really allowed to point to scientific data or observations published in mainstream journals carried out by scientists from very respected universities and so on, even cited by the IPCC [Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, a UN body] … if it doesn’t fit the narrative,” Durkin said.

“And the pressure on them to shut up is extreme.”

This is the man-made climate of opinion in which fear has become the latest currency of choice.

Within days of the release of the film, German physicist and science vlogger Sabine Hossenfelder asked her YouTube audience whether “we should be terrified of climate change.” Her answer?

“I am indeed terrified, terrified that scientists support manipulating people.”

She cites several recent sources in mainstream and academic media which advocate “evoking fear” to “spur climate action.”

Instead of fearmongering, she suggests we might best look at what can reasonably done to help preserve natural habitats for wild animals. This seems a reasonable position, and she cites a lack of clarity arising from climate modeling which may conflate natural fluctuations in climate with man-made changes.

Fact-checked

The film is intended to reveal that man-made climate change is a fraudulent operation which can only succeed by censorship and propaganda. It claims this vastly profitable industry – which one Swiss bank estimates will require $270 trillion to realist its goals – reduces to a campaign to enforce global authoritarian control by manufacturing an emergency that is not supported by the evidence.

These are bold claims, and we have heard them before. In this case, however, we can check the record for ourselves with ease.

One climate skeptic has taken the trouble to produce a detailed fact-check of the claims made in the film.

Describing his efforts as an “annotated bibliography.” retired petrophysicist Andy May has supplied information supporting “70 key statements” made in the movie, ranging from natural climate variation through unreliable models to data manipulation – and the existence of a multi-trillion dollar climate lobby which ensures that “skepticism is career suicide.”

May has published four books – most recently The Frozen Climate Views of the IPCC, which “documents biases and errors in the International Panel for Climate Change assessment.”

May’s book challenges the fearmongering such as that of the UN head Antonio Guterres that “we are on the road to climate hell,” saying instead that the IPCC “seeks to rewrite climate history” to frame a narrative of doom unsupported by the facts.

“The strategy of the IPCC seems to be to hide any good news about climate change,” says the summary for his book, available via May’s website. 

Fact-checker responds

May had this to say about the film whose facts he checked: “From the very beginning of this very well edited and produced movie we learn about the man-made climate change hoax or scam.” 

He argues that this agenda is secured by the familiar tactic of demonizing and deplatforming skeptics.

“We learn that anyone skeptical that humans are causing dangerous climate change are to be shunned, or censored, or worse!” he says.

Finally, he shows the method in this madness. The alarmism is all about control.

“We also discover the ugly truth that all this government insistence that we are about to die due to global climate change is not true, and is all about money and power,” he explains. “The logic is that if it is truly a global problem, then it requires a global government, and all nations must submit to global domination by those who know what is good for us.”

Criminalizing dissent?

In one note, not included in the film, May cites evidence of “the U.S. Senate attempting to legislate scientific research outcomes,” saying “it doesn’t get worse than this.”

He directs readers to page 202 of a 2021 book by S.E. Koonin, which documents the attempt led by Senator Chuck Schumer in 2019 to pass bill S.729, which aimed “to prohibit the use of funds to Federal agencies to establish a panel, task force, advisory committee, or other effort to challenge the scientific consensus on climate change, and for other purposes.”

As May notes, “Fortunately, the bill failed to pass, but the political pressure to find humans caused recent climate changes is overwhelming.”

This is an agenda which holds much of government, media, business, and even the scientific community captive. With trillions of dollars and the lives and liberty of humanity at stake, it is a welcome development that Durkin’s film, and the facts behind it, are now reaching a global audience.

In the early hours of Friday March 29, a 16-year-old schoolboy was arrested in Cenon, a suburb of Bordeaux in the Gironde region. The teenager is suspected of having made threats to attack a school and death threats against teachers and the school management, as reported by BFMTV. The young man, who attends the Lycée Trégey in Bordeaux, had sent several emails on Tuesday with death threats against his headmistress and four teachers. They have all pressed charges.

In his emails, the pupil announced that he would blow up his school. In each email, he signed his name “Le guerrier de Daesh” (The warrior of Daesh). He was taken into police custody for “death threats” and “glorification of terrorism”. According to BFMTV, the accused partially admitted to being the author of the threats. He justified himself by referring to “laziness in going to class last Tuesday”.

Some employees of the Trégey vocational school had also received threats, which prompted Nicole Belloubet to visit the scene of the incident on Friday morning. There, the Minister of Education announced the creation of a national “mobile school force” that could be deployed in certain schools in the event of security problems. Indeed, schools have been the subject of numerous threats and fake bomb threats for several weeks now.

Since 20 March, several secondary and high schools have been targeted by terrorist threats sent via the Espaces numériques de travail (ENT) platform. The investigation has already progressed. On Thursday morning, March 28, two teenagers were arrested by the Office Anti-Cybercriminalité (OFAC) in Malakoff in the Hauts-de-Seine department, as reported by BFMTV. The two brothers were born in 2005 and 2007. Both were taken into police custody. While the young adult was released, the police custody of his brother, who is 17 years old and a minor, was extended on Friday March 29, BFMTV reports.

Around 130 schools were the target of terrorist-related threats. One of these messages read: “I’ve had enough of this shitty life, of you teachers and this school. So, thanks to my brothers who are determined for the Islamic State, I have decided to blow everything up (sic).” In addition to these statements, the perpetrators launched a phishing campaign in the Ile-de-France region by setting up a fake website resembling that of ENT to steal victims’ passwords, BFMTV reports.

Specifically, 74 secondary schools in Ile-de-France were targeted a week ago. The next day, further threats were made against 22 colleges in Seine-et-Marne and 11 schools in Strasbourg. Then, on Saturday, 18 collèges and lycées in the Hauts-de-France region received threats via ENT. The ENT messengers were blocked in the departments concerned. Meurthe-et-Moselle launched a campaign to reset ENT access accounts.

France’s schools now face such security dangers from radicalised students that education minister Nicole Belloubet has announced the deployment of a “national mobile force” to try to keep threatened schools safe.

The mobile force will attempt to ensure the “physical security, digital security, but also legal security” of schools threatened by radicalised students, the minister said on March 29.

This force will aim to “reassure teachers and educational teams” in “schools that are experiencing difficulties”, and can be deployed in a “fairly long” time, she added.

The announcement comes days after a Paris headteacher, who had asked a student to remove her face veil before taking an exam, resigned March 26 after receiving death threats.

In 2020, history and geography teacher Samuel Paty was stabbed to death and beheaded after giving a class on freedom of expression. Paty had discussed Charlie Hebdo‘s 2012 cartoons depicting the prophet Muhammad.

The new mobile force will be organised nationally, starting in September 2024 for the new school year, said Belloubet, who spoke during a visit to a vocational high school in Bordeaux.

It will have the capability to deploy nationwide within 48 hours, providing additional support to local security forces as needed.

The force will recruit a multidisciplinary team of approximately twenty National Education agents to begin with. Its primary mission will be “to ensure security, appeasement and pedagogy in the establishment concerned”.

When violent incidents occur, and teachers or schools file a complaint, the state will systematically file a civil suit against perpetrators, the minister said.

“The state must be able to claim compensation for the school. Schools and their teachers suffer material damage, physical, psychological and moral, which deserves reparation. And that’s what we’re going to do,” she added.

A video of a decapitation was distributed to multiple schools the previous week, the education ministry said.

Other schools received threats of attacks and malicious acts.

Police investigations have begun, and messaging is now suspended in the French educational digital workspaces system (ENT), as a preventive measure, says the minister.

The digital workspaces serve as a link between teachers, students and parents, but recently have been used by radicalised students threaten teachers.

Suspending the messaging service aims to “reset our students’ accounts and enhance their security,” says Belloubet.

The headmaster’s resignation was the latest of a string of incidents plaguing schools in France, which has seen an increasing number of teachers threatened and targeted by religiously radicalised students.

The headmaster of a school in Paris has been threatened with murder—after asking one of his pupils to remove her headscarf—forcing him to leave his job. In turn, the French government has announced that it intends to lodge a complaint against the young woman behind the scandal.

The affair is further proof of the authorities’ inability to deal with Islamist threats, particularly in schools.

National education regulations prohibit the wearing of religious symbols in public schools. A month ago, the headmaster of the Lycée Ravel in the twentieth arrondissement of Paris, an area in the east of the capital with a large immigrant population, had an altercation with a pupil who refused to remove her headscarf. Three pupils were cautioned, but one of them—who had reached the age of majority—chose to ignore the headmaster’s request.

The case quickly escalated when criticism and violent threats emerged on social media. The young woman’s video testimony was broadcast by the Centre Contre l’Islamophobie en Europe (CCIE), clearly indicating her desire to cause a public scandal. A 26-year-old man was arrested for making death threats against the headmaster and is due to stand trial at the end of April.

The memory of Samuel Paty is clearly fresh in the minds of the teaching staff at Lycée Ravel. A month after the incident, the headmaster finally announced that he was stepping down “for my own safety and that of the school,” according to his message seen by the newspaper L’Humanité. The Paris education authority preferred to discreetly announce his early retirement:

As the headmaster of Lycée Maurice-Ravel is just a few months away from retirement, it has been decided, in view of the events of recent weeks, the media coverage they have received and the impact they may have had on him, to grant him an early retirement, in agreement with the management of the Paris education authority. 

Mickaëlle Paty, sister of murdered and beheaded teacher Samuel Paty, expressed her indignation to the press at this latest attempt by the education ministry to downplay the facts. 

The departure of this respected educator has sparked outrage among French politicians. Bruno Retailleau, leader of the Les Républicains group in the French Senate, denounced the “small cowardice and big renunciations” that led to this affair. It is just one of many scandals shaking French schools, which appear rotten with Islamism and condemned to “no wave” (i.e., to silence and impotence) in the face of rising violence against teachers and educational staff.

Marion Maréchal, leader of the Reconquête list for the European elections, pointed out that such cases would be repeated ad infinitum in the years to come, given the lack of control over immigration from Muslim countries.

Pierre Sautarel, from the website Fdesouche, explains that the young woman in question lodged a complaint against the headmaster for violence, but that her complaint was dismissed. She has since been working in a nursery school with her mother as a teacher—information revealed by RTL, but since obviously deleted from the online article. 

During his televised address on Wednesday 27 March, Prime Minister Gabriel Attal condemned “Islamist entryism” in schools. He admitted that the headmaster’s departure was due to security concerns: “He was due to retire in June. Some people advised him, for security reasons, to leave a little earlier,” he explained. In response to the indirect accusations made by Mickaëlle Paty, who is determined to have the state’s responsibility in her brother’s death recognised, the Prime Minister’s entourage is trying to present itself as transparent: “There is no ambiguity about the fact that this headteacher is leaving his post to ensure his safety. There are no taboos,” they say.

Attal announced his intention to lodge a complaint for “slanderous denunciation” against the young woman at the origin of the affair, who had claimed that the headmaster had used violence against her. Although she now says she regrets the way in which the events unfolded, she nevertheless maintains her version of events—which would justify the public complaint. 

Predictably, this ex post facto argument sounds like an admission of weakness on the part of a state that is unable to protect its staff and enforce law and order against the growing pressure of Islamist demands. A teacher interviewed by Le Figaro analysed the situation as follows:

The republican and secular school has become a target for what it is. A whole section of society is still in denial, including teachers. Admittedly, at a political level, there is a real awareness, but it’s coming too late.

Since the incident, the Lycée Ravel has remained under police surveillance.

The accused is a 33-year-old Albanian who is staying in France illegally. He was arrested by the National Police immediately after the offence and taken into police custody.

On Thursday March 28, at around 6pm, while a mass was being celebrated in the Sainte-Eulalie church in Rue de la Merci in Montpellier, a person stormed into the church and shouted “Allah Akbar” (“Allah is greater than everything” in Arabic).

Against the background of the current situation, this uninvited intrusion naturally caused quite a stir among the priest and his parishioners. However, the unarmed perpetrator left the house immediately without having committed any offence or damaged anything.

A National Police patrol was immediately on the scene, while officers from the municipal control centre located the perpetrator. He was eventually arrested without resistance at the Albert-1er tram stop on the Quai des Tanneurs near the Saint-Charles chapel.
