A British soap star has been given a security guard during filming, following a rise in anti-Semitic attacks across the UK.

Veteran actress Dame Maureen Lipman was seen filming scenes for long-running soap Coronation Street this week in Manchester, accompanied by a security guard provided by her employer ITV.

The Sun reports that the decision to assign security to the actress follows her comments criticising other celebrities who had signed a petition by Artists for Palestine UK condemning Israel’s attacks on Gaza, in response to the invasion by Hamas on October 7.

Lipman, who is Jewish, called these signatories “bleeding heartless liberals” and said publicly at an event:

“When babies were garrotted, women dragged by their hair and a family had eyeballs gouged out and fingers chopped off in front of their children — do they really think that Israeli blockades on the border with Gaza justification for such acts of violence?

“Those bigoted signaturists, do they have no soul as well as no judgment?

“Those bleeding heartless liberals who care so deeply for the Palestinians?

“That they espouse their cause at the expense of every other oppressed people of the world . . . shame, shame, shame on every one of you.”

The Sun quotes Lipman expressing surprise at the decision to ramp up her security, but saying, “This is where we are now.”

The Community Security Trust has registered a record 805 anti-Semitic incidents in the UK in the 21 days after October 7, more than the total number for the first six months of this year.

A recent independent study by British researchers of Dutch euthanasia data has found that people with autism and intellectual disabilities have been legally euthanized in the Netherlands, even though they had no physical disease or ailment. 

Euthanasia has been legal in the Netherlands since 2002 and the use of the practice has steadily expanded in the last two decades. 

According to the Dutch government’s euthanasia review committee, 60,000 people were killed by their doctors between 2012 and 2021. The committee publicly released documents related to more than 900 of those cases to demonstrate how the law was working.

Irene Tuffrey-Wijne, a palliative care specialist at Britain’s Kingston University, and her colleagues reviewed the documents and published their findings in the journal BJPsych Open in May. 

They found that among the 900 cases made available publicly, in 39 of them a person with an autistic and/or intellectual disability was euthanized. In this group, a minority of those killed by their doctors were elderly, but 18 of them were younger than 50. Of those, eight were younger than 30.

Almost all of those who requested to be killed–thirty out of 39–cited loneliness as one of the causes of their unbearable pain. Most of the patients cited a combination of mental problems, physical suffering, and diseases or aging-related difficulties as their reasons for requesting euthanasia, but eight said the only causes of their suffering were emotional and social factors related to their intellectual disability or autism–social isolation, a lack of coping strategies, or an inability to adjust their thinking.

“There’s no doubt in my mind these people were suffering,” Tuffrey-Wijne told the AP. “But is society really OK with sending this message, that there’s no other way to help them and it’s just better to be dead?”

Kasper Raus, an ethicist and public health professor at Belgium’s Ghent University, noted how drastically the debate on euthanasia has changed, as well as the type of patients requesting to be killed. Before euthanasia was legalized, he said, the debate was about people with cancer, not people with autism.

Some experts evaluate the change as a move from ‘mercy killings’ to eugenics.

Canada, which already has one of the world’s most permissive euthanasia laws, is set to explicitly allow euthanasia on the basis of mental illness alone next year. 

“Helping people with autism and intellectual disabilities to die is essentially eugenics,” Tim Stainton, director of the Canadian Institute for Inclusion and Citizenship at the University of British Columbia told the AP. 

In 2021, Canada expanded its 2016 euthanasia law from allowing the killing of people with a foreseeable death due to terminable illness to those with chronic conditions and disabilities. The law also explicitly allows for euthanasia due to mental illness alone starting in 2024.

This aspect was delayed to allow time to draw up parameters for such requests for euthanasia to be fulfilled. Opponents of the measure are sounding the alarm bells, as euthanasia has grown 30% already.

A new Health Canada report, which was published in October, found that under the more liberal law, the practice of euthanasia jumped 30% from 2021 to 2022 alone. Additionally, the report found that 3.5% of people euthanized did not have a terminal diagnosis.

Dr. Sonu Gaind, psychiatrist-in-chief at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto, told CBS News that although the percentage is small, the most disturbing aspect of the report is its dismissal of the significance of these deaths by euthanasia. 

“The proportion of MAID [Medical Assistance in Dying] recipients whose natural death was not reasonably foreseeable continues to remain very small compared to the total number of MAID recipients,” the report states.

Gaind said this “completely minimizes the numbers.”

She also criticized the report for its lack of data related to equity and diversity or marginalized populations. According to the report, that information will be included in the 2024 report.

“They’re saying that won’t be recorded until next year’s report,” Gaind said. “And yet, we’re still going ahead with further expansion.”

The European Public Prosecutors Office (EPPO) said that the European Union budget lost more than €5 Billion in misused funds.

This figure is exponentially bigger than the European Commission’s own stated loss of €300 million.

The report from EPPO comes at time when serious questions are being asked about corruption and how EU institutions protect taxpayers’ money.

There is also a significant difference between the number of cases reported by EPPO and those reported by the EC and its watchdog, the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF).

The EU Chief Prosecutor Laura Codruța Kövesi said in a letter in July to Ilze Juhansone, Secretary General of the EC, that “the Commission did not know about the existence of more than 90 per cent of suspicions of fraud” that were hurting EU finances.

The reason being, she said, was that many of these cases were “under investigation by national prosecution services”.

The letter was made public at the request of investigative outlet Follow the Money. When other unreported cases of alleged fraud, which mainly damage the budgets of EU Member States, are included the total damage rises to an estimated €9.9 Billion.

The revelations come at a time when the EU is under serious scrutiny over how it protects itself and its taxpayers’ money against corruption.

They also come in the wake of the Qatargate scandal, in which several centre-left MEPs are alleged to have received hundred of thousands of euros in bribes.

They were allegedly paid in exchange for giving foreign countries influence in the EU’s law-making processes, and thus EU citizens’ confidence in the bloc’s integrity has significantly deteriorated.

According to a poll conducted by the European Parliament, only 35 per cent of Europeans were satisfied with the EU’s fight against corruption within. This was the lowest level recorded for any aspect of EU democracy included in the poll.

In March, a report was issued by the Court of Auditors (ECA), another of the EU’s corruption watchdogs, which stated that the EC had no way of guaranteeing that billions of euros given out from its joint Covid-19 fund were not being lost through fraud.

The crux of the issue was what the ECA called an “accountability gap”. This was the fact that the EC handed out money to Member States from its recovery fund and then merely relied on those nations to assure it that the funds were spent correctly.

The report noted “the EU’s executive did not plan to examine” how recipient countries would guarantee that EU-funded investment projects were in line with the bloc’s standards.

A similar dynamic has now played out with the EC and OLAF, which appear to have relied on Member States to report losses to them.

The difference is also causing reverberations in terms of the amount of money OLAF has succeeded in recovering.

It can only provide non-binding recommendations to Member States. Unlike the EPPO, which is independent and holds prosecutorial powers, OLAF’s investigations have resulted in a mere 30 per cent recovery of funds lost.

Kövesi’s revelation that the EC is only aware of 10 per cent of fraud implies to many that OLAF’s actual effectiveness in recovering funds could be as low as 3 per cent.

While the EU’s executive had spent more ambitiously in the wake of the Ukraine war and the Covid pandemic, it now looks like it is running into serious trouble.

As the EC demands increased budgetary payments from Member States, national leaders told the EC to tighten its own belt at the latest European Council summit in October.

German soccer club Mainz terminated the contract of Dutch forward Anwar El Ghazi on Friday following his social media posts about the Israel-Hamas war.

The announcement by Mainz came two days after El Ghazi disputed the club’s version of events when it lifted an earlier suspension. German news agency dpa reported Friday that prosecutors in the city of Koblenz were also investigating.

Mainz originally suspended El Ghazi on Oct. 17, saying he had posted and then deleted a message about the war that the club deemed “unacceptable.”

On Monday, the club said his suspension was lifted and that he would receive a reprimand. Mainz said that followed talks with the management and that El Ghazi “regrets publishing the post and also was remorseful about its negative impact.” The club added that the player “also stated that he does not question Israel’s right to exist.”

However, in a further social media post on Wednesday, El Ghazi indicated that the club had issued its statement without his permission.

“I do not regret or have any remorse for my position,” the player wrote. “I do not distance myself from what I said and I stand, today and always until my last breath, for humanity and the oppressed.”

The 28-year-old El Ghazi, who previously played for PSV Eindhoven, Aston Villa and Everton, joined Mainz as a free agent in September. He made three appearances as a substitute for the team, which is last in the German league.

In response to Mainz saying that his contract was terminated Friday, El Ghazi posted: “The loss of my livelihood is nothing when compared to the hell being unleashed on the innocent and vulnerable in Gaza.”

Amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas war, it has now come to light that the Palestine-based Islamist outfit tried to put their injured terrorists on departure lists meant for the evacuation of US nationals through the Rafah gate crossing into Egypt.

As per a report by The New York Times, an official of the Biden administration informed on Friday (3rd November) that the evaluation of US nationals was delayed due to Hamas and its nefarious attempt.

The evacuation process was delayed by several weeks and finally commenced on Wednesday (1st November). The Rafah crossing remained closed for a long time since October 7 when Hamas launched an unprovoked attack on Israel, killing 1400 people in the process.

“For most of that time, American officials said only that Hamas was preventing the departure of foreign nationals, and that the group was making unreasonable demands,” the NYT report noted.

Hamas reportedly provided a list of ‘wounded’ Palestinians to Egypt, Israel and the United States, reiterating that they should be evacuated along with US nationals and others. However, almost 1/3rd individuals on the list included injured Hamas terrorists.

The matter came to light only during the vetting process. When Israel, Egypt and the US turned down the list, Hamas kept providing new lists of ‘wounded’ Palestinians (that included its terrorists).

According to The New York Times, the negotiations between the United States and Hamas took place through representatives of the Qatar government.

“The official who spoke to reporters on Friday said that Hamas eventually relented in its demands for the passage of its fighters. The prospect of Hamas fighters leaving Gaza was especially troubling for Egypt, which remains concerned about the possibility of terrorists flowing into its country,” the report added.

A 15-year-old Bangladeshi-Italian girl who committed suicide by jumping out of her family flat’s third floor window and dying after three days in hospital may have done so because she feared being pushed into an arranged marriage with an older man in Bangladesh, police said Friday.
Her father, who was planning to take her on holiday to his home country, has been placed under investigation for instigation to suicide in Ancona, the capital of the north-central-eastern Marche region.
The girl, who has bot been named, died in an Ancona hospital Thursday.

History has repeatedly evidenced over the last two millennia that ignoramuses often change history.  Geniuses who fall victim to uncivilized invaders, uncultured neighbors, or moronic rulers are well known.  Postmortems cannot alleviate the loss of a great mind to humanity, and many contemporaries recognize that.  For example, Marcellus, a Roman general who conquered Syracuse, apologized to Archimedes’s relatives.

Followers of the Moon God have been working tirelessly on this program since the 7th century.  The recent barbarism of the Gazan population does not deviate an iota from the dogmas enshrined by Mohammad, the successful caravan robber.

Beheading infidel babies has been Islam’s modus operandi for centuries, so why the sudden harsh reaction from the West?  Islam sees nothing wrong with dismembering or baking babies alive in an oven as long as they are infidels.  Knowledgeable Muslims will point out that Allah prohibits inhumanness, but it is just a semantic juggling of well known contradictions in Islam’s holy texts, the Quran and Hadith.  To Muslims’ delight, the Quran — like any other foundational text in all religions — has so many inconsistencies that one could find opposite opinions about hot subjects.

Pro-Hamas rallies in all European capitals and major American cities are not the only catalyst for the emotional reaction from the West.  Unfortunately, the hysterical backlash of Western leaders is not about the tortured Israelis.

The resonance we hear is the sound of the left-Islamic fabric ripping apart.

The Soviet Union cultivated the alliance between the International Left and Islam since the 1950s.  The immensely significant triumph was getting communist radicals and Islamic radicals on the same team.  The overwhelmingly atheist left had entered into a marriage of convenience with religious forces.  And not just Islamic corps: aside from the well known cozy relationship with Islamic radicals, though it may seem improbable, leftist radicals sneaked an acknowledged communist into the Dalai Lama’s position.

Besides, a Marxist pope is at the helm of the Vatican.  That misalliance birthed the ideological chimera — a hybrid ideology composed of different, seemingly incompatible, and non-combinable parts.  Moreover, Mohammed’s fatalistic teachings are reminiscent of Marx’s stoical indoctrinations.  As a result, the arrested development of predominantly Muslim vs. non-Muslim countries mirrors the arrested advancement of socialist countries vs. capitalistic ones.

However, the left’s multi-decade-long, burgeoning strategic alliance with theocratic regimes and groups had peaked.  Radical leftists are in short supply in the 21st century, thus ending the era of militant Islam and radical leftism exchanging tactics and strategies.  Instead, the paths of Islamic imperialism and leftist imperialism are starting to diverge.  The Abraham Accords, orchestrated by then-president Donald Trump, signify such divergence.

The political consequences of Hamas’s actions are difficult to overestimate.  First, the political left has been effectively wiped out of the Israeli political scene, at least for the time being.  Second, massive rape, torture, and beheadings by the unenlightened mob of Palestinian Arabs suddenly awakened the West from its woke-induced coma.  As Israel experiences unprecedented existential enlightenment, the West will, most likely, follow.

As for the Jews associated with leftism, it is always “Leftism Uber Alles.”  Since Napoleon Bonaparte closed Jewish ghettoes in occupied Italy and granted French Jews full civil rights, Jewish existence has been entangled with left-wingers.  Metternich-Winneburg, the Austrian consul in Paris, wrote in 1806: “All Jews look upon Napoleon as their Messiah.”  Since then, many Jews have worshiped false gods, false prophets, and false Messiahs — as long as they exhibit a left-wing stance.  However, many American Jews got red-pilled by the cauchemar of the latest anti-Semitic atrocities, demonstrations, and threats and decisively shifted into the conservative column.

Leftists in Washington, D.C. have cardinally altered American import and export articles.  Currently, our exports are primarily various forms of appeasement, and our main imports are strains of anti-Americanism.  Unfortunately, these insanely genocidal Middle Easterners have support from many insanely suicidal Westerners.  New York City used to be the Jewish-American metropolis; now it is openly anti-American, anti-Israel, pro-Hamas land, transforming into Newyorkistan in front of our eyes.

Leftists policies have made America a borderless, leaderless country.  Rephrasing Clausewitz, uncontrolled and unvetted immigration is jihad by other means.

The massive de-platforming, de-banking, de-monetization, and cancelation of conservatives appear to be a Pyrrhic victory for the left.  They became a conglomerate of marginal congregations (like LGBT and anti-Israeli Jews) and pro-Hamas activists (like BLM and The Squad).  However, the avalanche of de-financing by wealthy donors of primary leftist bastions — universities — in the wake of Hamas savagery is several orders of magnitude larger than any de-monetization experienced by right-wingers.  Maybe — just maybe — it will reorient universities from cultivating heinousness back to education.

Hamas demonstrated that the Muslim world has reached a level of depravity that the rest of the world could not imagine possible.  It looks as though many modern leftists have realized the danger of the jihad association in any shape or form.  They might have decided to flee their abusive partner.

Finally, Hamas’s blatant bloodthirstiness has forced Israel to abandon all attempts to please or beg for public sympathy from the world.  As the West’s self-inflicted cultural degradation has reached the bifurcation point, it must choose one path from the only two available: back to the 7th century or back to the future.

A trans-identified male model has been named as one of the recipients of Glamour magazine’s 2023 Woman of the Year award, prompting criticism on social media. Geena Rocero, a New York-based fashion model, was previously a beauty pageant contestant from the Philippines who participated in events for women and girls as well as for gay men and teen boys in drag.

On X (formerly Twitter), commenters pointed out that Rocero is male, with some questioning whether Glamour believes that “men are better at being a woman,” or asking whether the magazine had trouble finding “real women” for the distinction.

“How regressive, excluding women from a woman’s award in favour of a man. Almost like the Women’s Liberation Movement never happened,” replied Jane Griffiths on X.

“You’re actively participating in and promoting female erasure. Men pretending to be women are men. You are on the wrong side of history. Shame on you,” responded another critic.

Rocero entered his first beauty pageant, Super Sireyna, at the age of 15 at the behest of an older trans-identified male and beauty pageant manager he refers to as his “trans mom,” Tigerlily. Out of over 40 female contestants, Rocero won second runner-up, best in swimsuit, and best in long gown.

“My trans mother, Tigerlily, saw me at 15 years old, she was like, ‘Oh, she could do it.’ I was introduced to her through a friend and I was still wearing my high school uniform at College of St. Peter. Tigerlily saw me and she’s like, ‘You know what, put on this two-piece bikini.’ I put it on and I saw a body, darling. Skin, body, glistening,” Rocero told Interview in May.

He continued, “That [was] the beginning of ‘I’m not going to college.’ I’m going to make money, I’ll have boyfriends all over the Philippines … I used to join pageants in every barrio all over the Philippines. From Pangasinan all the way to Ilocos Norte and all over Manila — I joined it all.”

Rocero recalled that he had been watching beauty pageants on television leading up to his first event. “I was watching this pageant, the finals on national television, then two weeks later I beat them all,” he said. He used his prize money to purchase female hormones in order to more closely resemble a woman.

Rocero would then go on to take multiple awards and titles at beauty pageants. In 2000, when he was just 16 years old and going by the moniker Gina Garcia, Rocero was named Ms. Gay Universe 2000. The “Miss Gay” series of pageants refers to beauty competitions involving men in drag.

The following year, Rocero joined his mother in the United States and two years later underwent genital surgery in San Francisco.

After relocating to the United States, Rocero pursued a career in lingerie modeling, and has described the experience as “ultimate validation.”

In 2014, he revealed that he was male during a TED talk, telling the audience, “I was assigned a boy at birth based on the appearance of my genitalia.” His speech went viral online, racking up millions of views.

In 2015, he appeared on the talk show TODAY alongside Dr. Michelle Forcier advocating the position that children as young as 2 years old can self-declare a gender identity. Last month, a lawsuit was filed against Forcier by female detransitioner Isabella Ayala, among others, who was given hormones at the age of 14 years old.

At that time, Rocero was acting as the Executive Producer of “Beautiful As I Want To Be”, a digital series which paired young people with an adult mentor who identifies as transgender.

Following the success of his TED talk, Rocero was invited to speak at the White House at an LGBT Innovation Summit, and the 2014 Democratic National Committee’s LGBT Gala, and has worked with the State Department under former President Obama.

In August 2019, he was featured as the Playboy Playmate of the Month in their Gender and Sexuality issue. The Playboy article written by Rocero was nominated for a GLAAD Award.

Commenting on the nomination, Alex Schmider, GLAAD’s Associate Director of Transgender Representation, said, “By spotlighting talented and beautiful models like Geena, Playboy is amplifying a simple fact that other media outlets should echo loudly: trans women are women.”

In addition to speaking at the White House, Rocero presented at the United Nations Headquarters for UN Women in 2020 and at the World Economic Forum on at least two occasions, in 2017 and in 2020.

Rocero was again invited to the White House earlier this year, where he promoted his autobiography, “Horse Barbie.”

The decision by Glamour to award Rocero with the honor of Woman of the Year is part of a larger trend. Numerous men who claim to be women have been presented with similar titles in recent years.

In March, a trans-identified male who drafted a bill declaring Minnesota a “refuge state” for the medical transitioning of minors the title of Woman of the Year by USA Today. Leigh Finke was among 50 honorees chosen by the publication from each state, including such notable female figures as former first lady Michelle Obama and Sandra Day O’Connor, the first woman to serve on the U.S. Supreme court. Finke authored a book for teens which instructed them to “limit contact with any adult” who does not affirm their “queerness,” and suggested that minors should visit “queer sex shops.”

In response to being awarded the title of Woman of the Year 2023, Rocero was profiled for Glamour by another trans-identified male who has been featured at events and employed by publications typically aimed at women. Raquel Willis was a speaker at the 2017 Women’s March in Washington, DC.

In 2018, Willis was named an Open Society Foundation Soros Equality Fellow and began to work as the executive director of LGBT publication Out magazine. In 2020 he was appointed as the director of communications for the Ms. Foundation for Women.

But this is not the first time Glamour has bestowed a male with the title of Woman of the Year.

As previously reported by Reduxx, Brazil’s franchise of Glamour awarded a male social media influencer the title despite him not even identifying as a “woman.” Linn da Quebrada, who had previously come under fire from Brazilian feminist influencers for mocking pregnant women, had previously stated that he does not believe women ‘exist.’

Illegal migrants arriving in the U.K. from mainland Europe should be handed a bottle of water and escorted back to France, former Icelandic Prime Minister Sigmundur Gunnlaugsson has claimed.

Speaking to conservative broadcaster Nigel Farage on Thursday, the former leader of the Nordic island nation said the solution to the ongoing migrant crisis, “looking at it from the outside, is simple.”

“When a boat comes with illegal migrants, take them on land, give each of them a bottle of water, and bring them back to France,” he said.

The move, he believes, would drastically reduce the pull factor currently in place for migrants seeking to travel across Europe to reach Britain.

Gunnlaugsson, who led Iceland from May 2013 until April 2016, said that politicians often make things “so complicated for themselves” and insisted that “the best solutions are often the simplest ones.”
