A 33-year-old resident of Le Puy-en-Velay, who claimed to be the victim of a conspiracy but acted out of desperation and “wanted to be treated”, was arrested on Friday outside the police station in Le Puy-en-Velay for threatening violence because he was carrying a knife.
On Monday afternoon, a 36-year-old man residing in Le Puy-en-Velay was on trial for glorification of an act of terrorism, damage to property, drug abuse and carrying a stabbing weapon. On Friday November 3, he was arrested outside the police station in Le Puy. The man had shouted “Allahu akbar” and “I will commit an assassination” under the windows of the police officers and after damaging three police vehicles. He had brought a 17 cm long stabbing weapon with him.
A 38-year-old man was sentenced yesterday to six months’ probation for shouting “Fuck France”, “allah akbar” or “free palestine” and waving a pair of scissors threateningly outside a Jewish restaurant known for its falafel specialities on Thursday November 2.

The crime took place in Rue des Rosiers in Paris, a neighbourhood “known as the Jewish quarter” (according to the president of the court), where a Palestinian terrorist organisation had carried out an attack on another Jewish restaurant 50 years ago (August 1982). The man caused a panic on the street. A witness who was walking his dog and alerted the police reported that he had ” feared the worst”. The heavily intoxicated man was eventually arrested and taken into police custody. However, he also threatened a police officer by repeatedly telling him “I will shoot you” as well as “allah akbar”.
However, the prosecution felt that there was not enough evidence to charge him with glorification of terrorism. As the defendant was a Pakistani asylum seeker, the entire hearing had to be conducted with the assistance of an interpreter who spoke Urdu: both to translate the court’s statements and to translate the defendant’s statements in court. This did not facilitate the hearing.

He applied for asylum in Italy, but also in Germany, all of which were rejected. Eleven months ago, he travelled to France because he had heard that it was easy to work illegally in France and that it was easier to get papers.
Shahid M. goes on to explain that all the money he earns from moonlighting on building sites is spent on alcohol, as he is said to drink a bottle of whisky and several cans of beer every day. The public prosecutor demanded a prison sentence. The prosecutor said: “We have heard very few explanations,” and pointed to the defendant’s grin. He does not build trust”.

Particular attention should be given to footage clearly showing signs of torture and executions. These instances might be of a mass scale and have not faced significant resistance from the international community and organisations.

This move may not fully replace defunct security systems such as the CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organization) and agreements with Russia. However, it could open a new chapter of accountability for Azerbaijan and its leadership.

A German district administrator has announced his resignation from the governing Social Democratic Party (SPD) after more than 20 years as a member, claiming the party’s asylum and migration policy is too ideologically driven and not borne out of reality.
Stefan Kerth, the district administrator of Vorpommern-Rügen in the German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern told local party members on Monday that he was stepping back from the party and unleashed a scathing critique of the federal government’s approach to the ongoing migrant crisis enveloping Germany.
“For a long time now, I have perceived the politics of the SPD and the left-of-center political camp as being too strongly driven by ideology and insufficiently oriented towards the reality of life,” said Kerth, as cited by Zeit Online.
He expressed it had been a difficult decision for him to leave the party but claimed that local governments and authorities were experiencing a “declining ability to enforce the rule of law” and warned that “without a clear monopoly of violence on the part of the state, parallel societies develop their own monopolies on violence.”
Kerth attributed the surge in electoral support toward the right-wing populist Alternative for Germany (AfD) to the federal government’s refusal to implement a sustainable migration policy and claimed that the current level of taxpayer-funded support for newcomers was causing resentment among voters.
“According to my observation, the success of the AfD is a direct result of a policy that many perceive as aloof and unrealistic.
“That too, welfare money. It promotes the utopia of an effortless life. It’s not socially fair,” he said.
The district administrator announced his intention to remain in his post and made no suggestions that he was seeking to defect to another political party.

However, many criticised the police force for their pleas, with former Brexit Party MEP Martin Daubney saying: “I’m sure the kinds of people who wear Hamas paragliders on their clothing, shout ‘jihad’ or threaten to kill veterans will respond to being asked not to protest…”
Brexit boss Nigel Farage noted that while the official Armistice Day celebration with the King laying a wreath at the Cenotaph will be held on Sunday, he said it would still be disrespectful for any conflicting protest to be held over the weekend at all.
“In our country, we have a significant number of people with whom we have no shared history, with whom we have no shared culture, and who it seems have absolutely no respect whatsoever for our ways our customs, our traditions, or indeed our national act of commemoration,” Farage said.

“Any non-British national partaking in this demonstration should be immediately deported, but the protest, however vulgar and disrespectful should be allowed to go ahead.”
Amid the highest number of illegal migrant arrivals in nearly a decade, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has finalised a deal with Albania to build two migrant centres where illegal migrants will be sent after being rescued at sea.
Meloni signed a memorandum of understanding alongside her Albanian counterpart Edi Rama on Monday, November 6th, with the agreement facilitating the creation of migrant centres that will be able to handle around 36,000 people per year, a report from the newspaper Il Giornale states.
“It is a Europe-wide agreement. It shows that you can collaborate on the flow management front. Albania will give the possibility to use some areas of Albanian territory with Italy being able to set up centres,” Prime Minister Meloni said following the signing of the memorandum.
“The agreement provides for setting up migrant centres in Albania that can hold up to three thousand people,” Meloni said and added, “When we started discussing it, we started from the idea that mass illegal immigration is a phenomenon that no European state can tackle alone.”
Migrants who manage to get to Italian territory on their own accord aboard boats or by land will not be covered under the new agreement as it only applies to those picked up or rescued at sea by Italian ships. It also does not cover those picked up by migrant taxi NGOs.
Migrants will be taken aboard Italian vessels to Shengjin, a port town on the Adriatic Sea, where they will be identified and processed and later taken to Gjadër, a municipality in the country’s northwest where a reception facility will be built.
The facility is expected to be built and operational by next spring according to Prime Minister Meloni, who stated,

The new deal comes as Italy has seen 144,675 illegal arrivals this year as of November 5th, according to statistics from the United Nations Refugee Agency UNHCR. The number is the highest the country has seen since 2016 when 181,436 illegal migrants arrived.
In recent weeks, several European countries have expressed an interest in outsourcing asylum claims to other countries.
In Germany, Ann-Veruschka Jurisch, the parliamentary rapporteur on migration for the Free Democrats, a member of the governing German federal coalition, proposed last week that Germany send migrants abroad to non-European Union countries to process their asylum claims.
“I expect the interior minister to review as soon as possible how processing asylum claims in third countries can be facilitated, as this is what we agreed in our coalition agreement,” she said, in reference to the so-called “traffic light” coalition deal between the FDP, the Social Democrats (SDP) and the Greens.
The policy was also advocated by North Rhine-Westphalian Prime Minister Hendrik Wüst, who called on Chancellor Olaf Scholz to begin negotiations with non-EU countries and offer them financial incentives
“This means that those who cannot expect protection status do not come to our country in the first place. In doing so, we must provide financial support to these partner countries. It’s about agreements with performance and consideration,” he said and added, “The partner state should declare its readiness to take back anyone who irregularly crosses the sea and land borders from its country to the European Union.”
Other EU countries such as Sweden, Denmark and Austria have also expressed support for outsourcing asylum claims, though Denmark initially attempted to strike a deal with Rwanda but paused the deal in January of this year after the new national government was formed.
Migration and Integration Minister Kaare Dybvad explained the change in policy saying, “We still have the same ambition, but we have a different process. The new government’s program calls for the establishment of a reception centre outside Europe in cooperation with the EU or other countries.”
However, the countries may run into future difficulties regarding their programmes in a similar fashion to the UK, which saw the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) halt the first flight of migrants to Rwanda in June of last year after the UK had negotiated a deal with the African country to send migrants there for asylum claim processing.

The incoming Muslims instantly proved to be a problem. What’s happening in Germany should be a warning to us in America. Over the years, Democrats have destroyed our values and our sense that our culture is worthwhile. They consistently pushed for unlimited immigration, something Joe Biden put into effect by opening the border.
I read somewhere (although I haven’t confirmed it) that, at the rate Biden’s border policy is going, by the end of 2024, 15% of America’s population will be illegal immigrants. Many are undoubtedly good people, but many are also undoubtedly bad people who have no loyalty to America or her values. Unless this stops yesterday, we are doomed.
Holidaymakers in Spain could soon find themselves sharing their luxury hotels with illegal African migrants after several hoteliers were offered cash by pro-migration charities to accommodate new arrivals flown to the Spanish mainland from the saturated Canary Islands.
Under government plans, thousands of migrants are being transported from the Spanish archipelago to the Valencian Community to help alleviate the crisis enveloping the islands.
Over 32,000 illegal crossings from Western Africa have now been detected on the Canaries so far this year, surpassing the record annual total of 31,678 set back in 2006.
HOSBEC, the hotel and tourism association located in vacation hotspot Benidorm, told Spanish media that several hotels had been approached by human rights organizations “offering them proposals for renting accommodation for refugees during the coming weeks.”
According to reports, hoteliers have been offered €40 a night for each migrant they provide accommodation for.
The hotel association criticized the left-wing Spanish government for its decision to transport migrants to the area without any clear plan or consultation.
“Hosbec regrets that never before in any of the crises we have faced have we felt so isolated and uninformed by the central government,” read a statement from the group as cited by Spanish digital newspaper ESdiario.
“It has been impossible for us to take any action for the correct coordination of these receptions and thus guarantee normal coexistence in the affected tourist destinations, despite having tried to contact the NGOs to which the management of accommodation and stays has been delegated,” it added.
The association claimed that communication between the federal government and the local administrations had been “non-existent.”
Spanish media reported that hotels in Benidorm had refused the proposals for accommodating migrants but claimed HOSBEC said it had been made aware of other holiday destinations in the Valencian Community where hoteliers had agreed to receive new arrivals, some of which had already opened their doors.
It is understood that newcomers have already been put up in Valencia, Alicante, Castellón, and Gandia.
The government in Madrid recently announced its intention to convert military barracks on the Spanish mainland into emergency migrant accommodation, but this is understood to house just 3,000 people, fewer than 10 percent of this year’s new arrivals to the Canary Islands alone.
Spain is also in discussions with the Senegalese government, from where a majority of migrants arriving on the islands originate, about the measures it should take to deter migrants from making the journey to Europe.

In view of the tensions caused by the war in Gaza, CDU leader Friedrich Merz has called on the coalition government to stop its planned reform of citizenship law.
The possibility of naturalisation after just three years instead of the current minimum of five years is “absurd” in view of the current situation, Merz said on the TV programme “Bericht aus Berlin” on Sunday.
With regard to proposals to make a written commitment to Israel’s right to exist a prerequisite for naturalisation, Merz went on to say that it was impossible to prevent this from ultimately being signed as a formality. “That’s why we need to take a closer look at who is to be naturalised in the Federal Republic of Germany,” demanded the opposition leader.
