Authorities in Germany have published guidelines for how civilians should respond should they come face to face with an attacker armed with a knife.

Suggestions on how to act were issued by a police spokesperson to the German newspaper, Schwäbische Zeitung, after a recent incident where a woman and her child were confronted by a man wielding a blade in the town of Bad Waldsee, Baden-Württemberg.

The mother bravely kicked her attacker in the shin and fled carrying her child; both escaped harm. However, police were asked whether this was the right approach, and if not, what civilians should do in such a situation.

Daniela Baier, a spokesperson for the Ravensburg police department, advised those feeling threatened to act confidently.

“Scream at the perpetrator, shout at the perpetrator, and keep your distance,” she said. “Bystanders may become aware of the situation and be able to rush to help.

“As soon as possible, the victim or a witness should call 911 and notify the police,” the spokesperson added.

The advice was ridiculed by the leader of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, Alice Weidel, who called the recommendations “pointless” and suggested that most perpetrators would not understand their victims, citing the disproportionate correlation between knife attacks and foreign suspects.

“It also demonstrates the helplessness of the security authorities, who are being abandoned by their state and federal governments,” Weidel added.

It was reported back in 2021 that German police authorities had recorded over 20,000 knife attacks around the country in the previous year – approximately 50 knife attacks a day. The vast majority of known suspects were foreign nationals or people with a migration background.

In June, the Berliner Zeitung wrote an article stating that police had recorded a total of 3,317 knife attacks in the German capital in 2022. Of the 2,428 known suspects, a total of 1,234 were foreign nationals.

This is only half the story since German crime data records foreign-born citizens who commit crimes as Germans, skewing the data even more.

Knife attacks in Germany are on the rise despite attempts by government ministers to combat the growing problem. A total of 2,600 knife-related crimes were recorded in Berlin in 2020, a figure which grew to 2,777 in 2021 and 3,317 last year.

In June, German state interior ministers met to discuss how to tackle the issue of growing migrant crime. Several high-profile attacks were highlighted during the meeting, including the case of a young German couple who were stabbed to death by a Palestinian migrant on a train in January this year.

Four other passengers of the Hamburg-Kiel regional train were seriously injured in the attack, including a 54-year-old woman who was induced into a coma and, despite regaining consciousness, went on to commit suicide.

Just three months after his release from prison, a Viennese schoolboy (17) once again acted as a supporter of the so-called “Islamic State” (IS) while still on probation. Now the incorrigible teenager is being tried again.

The Vienna public prosecutor’s office has brought charges against a 17-year-old IS supporter for terrorist organisation and attempted grievous bodily harm. He will be tried from November 27. The boy had only been sentenced to 21 months’ partial imprisonment by the same court at the end of January 2023. He had acted as a propagandist for the radical Islamist terror militia “Islamic State” (IS).

Since October 2021, the boy had been showing IS videos with execution and battle scenes to classmates at his school. He carved the IS lettering on a classmate’s textbook with a knife. He shared relevant propaganda material on his mobile phone and condoned the terrorist attack in Vienna by declaring in a relevant chat group that he hoped the attacker would be “accepted by Allah”. On the 12th of November 2021, there was even a police operation at the boy’s school. He had marched into the classroom with a 24-centimetre-long butterfly knife, opened it up and presented it to his classmates.

Shortly after the trial at the beginning of the year, in which a third of the sentence of seven months was handed down to him unconditionally, the young man was released with credit for his pre-trial detention. He had been in prison since the beginning of August 2022 due to the risk of committing an offence after he had repeatedly gone for walks with a machete with the IS lettering clearly visible on it in the weeks before his arrest. He had also sprayed “Islamic State” and the IS banner in huge letters on a pillar of the Brigittenau bridge.

In its verdict, the court ordered the young IS supporter to undergo a deradicalisation programme. Although the 17-year-old agreed to this, he obviously did not keep his word. According to the new indictment, which has now become legally binding, he joined forces with an IS supporter who was one year older in April – just three months after his conviction – to once again distribute relevant propaganda material, including promotional brochures for IS and recruitment videos.

A mass celebrated by a priest on Sunday November 5 in the Saint-Éloi church in Dunkirk (northern France) was disrupted by a person who shouted “Allah Akbar” twice, Le Figaro has learned from police sources.

The person in question, who was in the right wing of the church, shouted during the “Lord’s Prayer” and then at the end of the service. According to the priest, the man appeared to be “disturbed”.

Unbelievable accusations: shortly after applying for asylum, a young Algerian man (23) allegedly robbed and sexually assaulted an elderly resident (92) in a retirement home in the Vienna district of Wieden. A DNA match led to the suspect, who was already in custody for other offences.
The “Krone” newspaper first reported on the shocking crime at the “Haus des Lebens” residential home four weeks ago. A resident (92) was attacked and gagged in her room and then raped. After the heinous act, the initially unknown man robbed one of the victims and fled with the jewellery of the nursing home resident. The robbery was only discovered when relatives became concerned because they could no longer reach the elderly lady by phone.

The State Criminal Police Office has now traced the suspected perpetrator. Forensic technicians were able to secure DNA traces at the crime scene, which have now led to a hit in the database. The genetic fingerprint of a refugee from Algeria was stored there.
The 23-year-old migrant was caught by the police in Upper Austria. He is said to have been involved in several car break-ins there. He is in custody. He claims to have little memory of the attack in Vienna because he was high on pills. The Algerian had applied for asylum just a few days before the rape in the residential home. He made this application after being caught stealing in the Austrian capital.

A former French foreign ministry employee has been filmed tearing down posters of children kidnapped by Hamas, including several French citizens.

Sophie Pommier, who was cultural counsellor for the French Embassy in Cairo from 2017 to 2020, was recorded shouting “Israel assassin” as she removed the posters, to the dismay of onlookers.

In the recording, a person speaking English says to Pommier: “What a shame! You should be ashamed! These are children who have been kidnapped!”

Pommier replies to the English speaker: “They are murderers!”

“Do you know how many people have been killed in Gaza?” she says, adding “Israel-assassin!” and “Long live Palestine!”

Admitting Pommier was a former employee, France’s foreign ministry said “these actions likely fall within the definition of antisemitism adopted by the International Alliance for the Memory of the Holocaust, endorsed by France in February 2019.”

The video shows “an attitude, behaviour, and statements that are completely unworthy, disqualifying this individual entirely from maintaining any working relationship with the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs,” added the foreign ministry.

Meyer Habib, a member of France’s national assembly who holds French-Israeli dual citizenship, shared the footage showing Pommier, to the dismay of onlookers, hastily removing posters of children kidnapped by Hamas.

It will be “up to the justice system to determine if Pommier also warrants penal charges”, the foreign ministry says.

“Anti-Semitism, hatred of Israel and apologising for terrorism unfortunately sometimes nestle at the heart of the Agence France-Presse, the public service and now even within French diplomacy!” Habib tweeted afterwards.

Pommier previously worked at the Paris Institute of Political Studies as an external consultant for the Near and Middle East, employed by France’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

She also worked in Cairo, from September 2017 to March 2020, as deputy director of the French Institute and cultural counsellor for France’s Embassy. She is a member of the editorial board and editorial committee for the online journal Orient XXI.

The Quai d’Orsay will conduct an administrative enquiry into the circumstances of Pommier’s recruitment, on the request of foreign minister Catherine Colonna, it says in a statement .

Two married couples stand up for Israel on the sidelines of the pro-Palestinian demonstration in Siegen on Sunday evening. The police classify the chance encounter as an “unauthorised assembly” – and initiate an investigation.

Two married couples who had never met before, but who both felt very close to the people of Israel, happened to encounter each other on the sidelines of this demonstration. They were introduced to each other by a mutual acquaintance.

For violating the Assembly Act. How did this happen? “My wife Dawn and I just wanted to watch the demonstration and hear what was being said,” says Jürgen Kleinloh from Kreuztal. The two have made many interpersonal contacts with people in Israel and have been concerned about their well-being since the Hamas terrorist attack on October 7.

The Christians have organised tours to Bethlehem and Jerusalem for many years. For many years, they have also volunteered in Israel and received tourist groups in Bethlehem, at the Garden Tomb of Jesus . At Scheinerplatz, they discovered two people holding signs in the dark: “Hamas = murderer”, they read.

They were Mirjam and Jens Kemper, who were in Tel Aviv with their children on that terrible 7th of October and who managed to leave the country, which was quickly in war mode, on their own initiative . “We didn’t know each other, but I recognised them because I had seen their photo in the Siegen newspaper. In the report about their adventurous escape,” says Jürgen Kleinloh.

They struck up a conversation and an acquaintance spontaneously joined them. “The police cordoned us and other spectators off from the demonstration right at the beginning,” the 82-year-old from Kreuztal continues. “We even had pleasant conversations with them. Towards the end of the demonstration, a police officer asked whether we belonged together and told us that we were an unannounced assembly. Because there were more than two of us.”

Then a surprising question was asked, which initially left people speechless, but whose spontaneous answer was to have consequences: “When asked who was in charge of the meeting, my wife said ‘I am’ without realising the consequences,” reports Jens Kemper. And has to smile.

He also confirms that the meeting was absolutely coincidental. The lawyer admits: “Because my wife and I clearly spoke out against Hamas terror with our signs, the police probably thought that the meeting had been planned for a long time.” But it wasn’t.

Charges were therefore brought against Mirjam Kemper, the alleged “assembly leader”. Niklas Zankowski, press spokesman for the Siegen-Wittgenstein district police authority, announced that the police headquarters in Hagen will now take over the investigation into this case. On Sunday, the police recorded a total of three reports of administrative offences and two criminal charges. The image and video recordings made by the police evidence recovery team will now be analysed afterwards and checked for criminal relevance.

The Turkish ultra-nationalist Grey Wolves organisation, responsible for many massacres of Alevis and Kurds, threatened Israeli athletes participating in the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics in a newly published video.

The Grey Wolves were once backed by the CIA and are connected to the deep state in Turkey and the Turkish mafia. The Grey Wolves killed 100 people from the Alevi religious minority in Maraş in 1978, played a key role in the suppression and massacre of Kurds in the 1980s, fought in Nagorno-Karabakh and Chechnya in the 1990’s, and are hostile to all non-Sunni Turkish elements in Turkey, including Greeks, Armenians Kurds, Alevis, and Jews.

The organisation believes in Pan-Turkism and seeks to unite the Turkic(-speaking) peoples in one state stretching from the Balkans to Central Asia.

In 2005, they protested outside the Eastern Christian Orthodox Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople in Fener (Phanar), Istanbul, chanting “Patriarch Leave” and “Patriarchate to Greece”.

In June 2015, during a visit to the medieval Armenian city of Ani in Kars Province by the Armenian pianist Tigran Hamasyan, the local leader of the Grey Wolves suggested that his followers should “go on an Armenian hunt.”

Meanwhile, only days ago, Azerbaijani soldiers were seen making the hand salutation of the Grey Wolves in the occupied Armenian city of Stepanakert.

France, Austria, Kazakhstan and several other countries have outlawed the Grey Wolves, whilst in Turkey, their political wing, the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), are in coalition with Erdogan’s ruling Justice and Development Party.

What is ultimately behind so many of the (manufactured) ills currently plaguing the West, from leftist lunacy and gender insanity to unnecessary lockdowns and wars?

In a word, the ultra-rich — the billionaire elite.  So argues bestselling author Hanne Nabintu Herland in her latest book, The Billionaire World: How Marxism Serves the Elite.

In a series of brisk chapters, Herland — a historian of religions and founder of The Herland Report — traces all the world’s major problems back to the billionaire elite and their use of Marxist repression and social engineering. 

While this may seem counterintuitive, Herland makes — and documents — several powerful arguments. 

The fact that a tiny elite control much can be seen in that  even seemingly opposing and competing brands, such as Coke and Pepsi, are usually owned by the same company, says Herland.  The same applies to supposedly opposing “leftist” and “rightist” media. Six corporations control 90% of all U.S. media. As for the political arena, the “richest 0.01% have accounted for 40% of all campaign contributions through corporate donations.”

In short, “These mastodonte private companies completely dominate our way of life, what we eat, drink, watch on TV, what we wear, and who we vote for.”

Little wonder that, no matter what happens in the world, and no matter how such developments are detrimental to the average person, the ultra-rich tend to only get richer. According to Herland, “82% of all wealth generated in 2017 went to the richest 1% among us, while the poorest world population of 3.7 billion saw no increase in wealth.”

But it’s worse than that; there seems to be a direct correlation between how much poorer the average man gets and how much richer the billionaires get.  Writes Herland,

[T]he richest among us made billions of dollars on the COVID-19 world tragedy, while the world’s poor plunged into unimaginable poverty…  The shutdown strategy made the billionaires’ profit soar.  In the span of just a few months in 2020, Bill Gates made $75 billion, Jeff Bezos $67.9 billion, Mark Zuckerberg $37.8 billion, and Elon Musk $33.6 billion.

Meanwhile, 48% of small business owners in America experienced severe economic turmoil — with fully one-third of them going bankrupt, and with Black-owned businesses suffering disproportionately — due to this lockdown that otherwise profited the billionaires.

From a macro-historic perspective, the  West is slowly regressing, and the ultra-rich are becoming “the globalist version of feudal lords, as the new Western slave class emerges beneath them.”

But how did this lamentable state of affairs comes to pass in the first place?  Marxism — in its myriad forms and iterations — is Herland’s answer.  Since the 1960s, beginning with the “free sex and drugs” movement, Marxism, especially in the guise of godless materialism, has wormed its way into Western culture, poisoning, corrupting and destroying everything that originally made the West great, and therefore making it ripe for the most powerful — meaning the richest — to manipulate and control.   Writes Herland,

The Marxist attack on historic Western values has weakened the very core of our culture, destroyed social stability and the family, quenched free speech and silenced the people — and thereby removed the obstacles for the billionaire class to gain centralized control… The combination of strong private corporations coupled with political socialist ideologies has pushed for a radical groupthink model in which the population is expected to agree with the consensus — not unlike that which we witnessed during National Socialism in Germany before and during World War II.”

Marxism is especially apt at exploiting any environment where freedom and liberty erode and are replaced with groupthink.  In the words of Vladimir Lenin:

We must be ready to employ trickery, deceit, law-breaking, withholding and concealing truth… We can and must write in a language which sows among the masses hate, revulsion and scorn towards those who disagree with us.

It needs no great expounding to say that these tactics dominate all social and political discourse today — more than a century after they were first written down.

There is much more to recommend Herland’s Billionaire World. Almost every pressing topic — including the politicization of science, the rise of (openly Marxist) groups such as Black Lives Matter (BLM), the global persecution of Christians, the stoking of racial tensions, and the rewriting of history — is connected to the overlooked role of the billionaire elites and their self-serving agendas.

A derelict hotel in Ireland that had been earmarked to be converted into a nursing home will now be used to accommodate an initial 170 adult male asylum seekers — and that figure could quickly rise to 400.

The Department of Integration confirmed on Monday that the former Great Southern Hotel site located in Rosslare Habour would be transformed to house migrants and the new arrivals will be in place in a matter of weeks.

“We anticipate that the building will be ready by the end of the month and that approximately 170 people will be in a position to move in as part of a phased move,” an email sent by the Green Party-led governmental department to local elected officials read.

“It is likely to be male adults in this first phase given the shortage of accommodation for this cohort,” the circular added.

The Irish integration department assured local officials that the accommodation would be “of a high standard” and “well-managed,” and vowed to disclose further details about the plans “as soon as possible.”

The site was initially to be converted into a 90-bed nursing home, providing a vital service and generating employment opportunities for the local community, but these plans have now been scrapped.

Local councilors expressed their anger at the government’s decision to bestow on the village of just 1,200 residents further asylum seekers, having already established one refugee center in the local area.

“It’s disappointing and devastating for Rosslare Harbour, there’s no doubt about it,” said local councilor Ger Carthy as cited by the Irish Independent newspaper.

“Between the amount of refugees that we have currently in Rosslare Harbour and what’s planned for the Great Southern site, it will mean that this village will have taken in over 700 refugees. That will add about a third to the indigenous, settled population, with no additional services or provisions made,” he added.

Hundreds of local residents turned up to a community meeting last week, a meeting described by one councilor as the “biggest public meeting I can ever remember being at,” to protest against the plans.

Cllr. George Lawlor of Wexford Borough told the meeting that many of those concerned about the new arrivals were the very first volunteers to offer a helping hand to Ukrainian refugees upon their arrival to the village last year, but they’ve now reached their breaking point.

“The people who are ringing me with serious concerns about this are the same people who were standing in tents at 3 a.m. while the boats were coming into the harbor from Ukraine.”

“It’s the people who have helped those coming from Ukraine and those in the IPAS center who are saying, We can’t take any more because we’re at saturation point, we can’t take any more because it will evaporate all the goodwill that has been generated in this part of Co Wexford,” he added.

“The fact we’re potentially losing a nursing home is the biggest blow,” added Cllr. Frank Staples. “I spoke to a lot of older people at the time the nursing home got planning permission and they were delighted because it meant they would be able to stay in their community.”

Residents questioned how they were expected to cater to more newcomers when GP and dental services are already saturated and public services stretched.

President of the Irish Freedom Party Hermann Kelly accused the Irish government of “actively discriminating against the Irish people” and urged voters at the next election to “tell them clearly that the national resources of Ireland should be for the people of Ireland.”

Reports from Rosslare Harbour have become commonplace across Ireland with the government overseeing record levels of immigration over the past two years.

Last week, residents of Coole in Co Westmeath protested government plans to send 100 migrants to their village of just 200 people, while the local community in Killarney also criticized plans to establish another migrant hotel in the area.

Ireland’s population grew by almost 2 percent in a year after 141,600 immigrants entered the country between April 2022 and April 2023.

Prime Minister Leo Varadkar admitted last month that the country was reaching its capacity for the number of refugees it can accommodate and said that local communities would struggle to handle another influx of migration next year if the number of new arrivals remained as high as it is currently.

“We just don’t know if we’re able to provide that level of accommodation,” Varadkar told the lower house of the Irish parliament.

Following the example of cigarette packs, a new study by British researchers argues that graphic warning labels on meat products could successfully nudge meat-lovers towards reconsidering their dietary choices. With apocalyptic images reminiscent of war zones or forest fires, the researchers claim, Brits could be convinced to cut their meat consumption to the levels desired by climate change activist groups and instead get their protein from other, more so called ‘sustainable’ sources, among which, one suspects, insects.

“As warning labels have already been shown to reduce smoking as well as drinking of sugary drinks and alcohol, using a warning label on meat-containing products could help us achieve this if introduced as national policy,” said Jack Hughes, lead author of the study, which suggests this “could improve public health and reduce the UK’s carbon footprint,” revealing its ideological signature.

The conclusion of the report, which (rather ironically) appeared in the academic journal Appetite, was based on an experiment, conducted by a Durham University team, in which 1,001 meat-eating adults participated.

Having been split into four groups, with three groups being shown warnings and the other group not, all participants were asked to make 20 separate decisions on various meal choices, e.g. a meat pasta bake, a fish pasta bake, a vegetarian pasta bake, and a vegan pasta bake.

Some meals were accompanied by a label warning of the adverse effects the researchers claim they had on personal health, the climate, and even future pandemics. One label showed a deforested area, factory smoke billowing in the distance, with the line added: “Eating meat contributes to climate change.”

When accompanied by such a label, meat meal selections saw a slight reduction between 7% and 10%, according to the study’s results.

Participants were most likely to say no to meat after having seen the labels warning about the effects of meat consumption on the climate, saying they found these “most credible.”

“We already know that eating a lot of meat, especially red and processed meat, is bad for your health and that it contributes to deaths from pollution and climate change,” claimed researcher Milica Vasiljevic. “Adding warning labels to meat products could be one way to reduce these risks to health and the environment.”

According to NHS guidelines, meat is a good source of protein, vitamins, and minerals in a person’s diet. Currently, nearly three-quarters of the UK population eats meat.

The Climate Change Committee, which advises the UK government, continues “to advise that supporting the public to make more sustainable choices in what they eat” is “an important part of the pathway to Net Zero.” It therefore recommends that Brits cut their meat and dairy consumption by 20% for the country to hit its 2030 climate goal.

Within at least one European nation, the slide towards non-traditional diets is however being resisted.

On Monday, October 6th, the Italian parliament’s lower house debated a bill, already approved in the Senate, that would ban the production, import, and marketing of food produced in laboratories.

“If the production of synthetic foods were to be imposed on the markets, there would be greater unemployment, more risks to biodiversity and products that, in our opinion, would not guarantee [people’s] well-being, said Francesco Lollobrigida (Fratelli d’Italia), Minister of Agriculture.

During an event titled “Traditions and Innovation: A Conservative Future for European Farmers” and organized by the ECR Party over the weekend, Lollobrigida had said that Italy would be the “first nation free of synthetic food and wants to set an example on how it can be regulated.”

Having chosen the “precautionary principle,” he added that “food quality is fundamental and we cannot agree to a society divided in two, with quality food produced only for a rich elite,” remarking on the Italian government’s conviction that “everyone should be able to eat well.”
