Two Tiered Policing: Over 80 Britons Preventatively Arrested Ahead of Pro-Palestine Armistice Day Protest

London’s Metropolitan Police have been accused yet again of applying different standards to protests based on their political affiliation as dozens of so-called “far right” demonstrators were arrested to “prevent a breach of the peace” as they attempted to pay their respects to the Cenotaph war memorial on Armistice Day.

As Britons from across the country came down to London on Saturday to honour the nation’s fallen soldiers, the Metropolitan Police permitted another large-scale anti-Israel demonstration to take place, despite many, including Prime Minister Rishi Sunak describing the march as deeply disrespectful to military veterans and the soldiers who gave their lives in service of the country.

A much smaller band of supposed “counter-protesters”, including former English Defence League leader Tommy Robinson, came to the city vowing to protect war memorials such as the Cenotaph from vandalism.

Video footage of minor scuffles with police was widely circulated by leftist social media accounts and establishment media as evidence of the threat of the “far-right”. The police also claimed that counter-protesters hurled projectiles at officers.

People on the ground at the protest claimed that such scuffles were initiated by the Police, however, who attempted to block the people from paying their respects at the Cenotaph.

While police arrested one person for an assault on an officer and another for possession of drugs, the demonstration was largely peaceful and even featured two minutes of silence for the nation’s fallen soldiers.

Yet, as the pro-Palestine protest began, the Met used its recently acquired and wide-ranging powers to arrest some of the “counter-protesters” before they had even committed a crime.

“Officers have arrested 82 people in Tachbrook Street, Pimlico to prevent a breach of the peace. They’re part of a large group of counter-protestors we have been monitoring who have tried to reach the main protest march,” the Met said in a statement.

“We will continue to take action to avoid the disorder that would likely take place if that happened.”

Many on social media maligned the police force for its tough crackdown on the patriot protest while previously taking a soft touch on pro-Palestine protests.

Liberal comedian and political commentator Konstantin Kissin said: “And just like that, the police have no problem arresting large groups to prevent a breach of the peace. [Home Secretary] Suella [Braverman] was right. Two-tiered policing.”

“It’s astonishing how fast you learned how to police protests when they’re no longer politically correct,” GB News presenter Darren Grimes added.

Meanwhile, the pro-Palestine protest, the fifth major demonstration in London since the October 7th Hamas terror attacks on Israel, once again featured anti-semitic chants placards, including signs featuring swastikas and comparing Israel’s retaliatory strikes on Gaza to the Holocaust.

Chants of “From the river to the sea” — a genocidal war cry calling for the total destruction of Israel and its people — were once again recorded on the streets of London. Some of the protesters were even filmed wearing Hamas-style headbands.

The London Police force has faced intense criticism, including from Home Secretary Suella Braverman, for taking a light approach to the anti-Israel protests over the past month.

Even people publicly calling for “Jihad” at demos in London were excused by the police force, who said that “the word jihad has a number of meanings“.

There have been no arrests at the pro-Palestine march announced so far by the police at the time of this reporting.

Terror experts certain: Viennese IS supporter ready for suicide attack

The Viennese Islamist (17) who wanted to carry out a terrorist attack at the main railway station is considered highly dangerous. An Islamism screening revealed that he was in an “advanced radicalisation process” and was a potential suicide bomber.

After the boy’s arrest, the terror suspect was subjected to the so-called DyRiAS procedure as part of a youth court investigation. DyRiAS stands for Dynamic Risk Analysis Systems, and the Islamism radicalisation screener can be used to identify signs of radicalisation processes taking place. In the process, 13 relevant areas of behaviour are queried, from which it can be concluded whether or not the respective test person is experiencing violent radicalisation in the Islamist sphere.

The result was unmistakable. A consolidated radicalisation was confirmed in all 13 areas. In addition, four so-called red flag factors were identified: The young person wanted to live in a community of IS supporters and be recognised by them and therefore wanted to travel to an IS combat zone. He already had access to weapons and an extremist environment – he frequented a mosque in Vienna’s twelfth district on a weekly basis, where radical Islamists, including the attacker of the 2nd of November 2020, had performed their prayers and listened to sermons. He was also networked with like-minded people via Telegram, TikTok and Instagram and was involved in group chats with radical content. In a Telegram chat with 19 Islamists, for example, he had announced the attack at the main railway station after a previous argument with his father, in which – as he himself later explained – he wanted to die and enter paradise.

On the basis of the proven radicalisation process and the red flags, the DyRiAS proceedings show that the 17-year-old does indeed have “high-risk factors” for potential acts of violence – even at the risk of his own death. In the more detailed explanations provided by the juvenile court, it is pointed out that the young person had reported suffering from “recurring suicidal thoughts”, “whereby he had already once expressed suicidal intentions to a friend from the mosque”.
The security authorities assume that there are at least ten, and following recent developments in the Middle East possibly more, radical Islamist “high risk” individuals in Austria who could carry out an attack at any time. In addition to the 17-year-old from the main railway station, an IS supporter of the same age was recently considered to be particularly dangerous. He was sentenced to 21 months in prison by the Vienna Regional Criminal Court in January for terrorist association after he displayed IS propaganda material at his school, sprayed the IS symbol on a bridge pillar and patrolled with a machete bearing the IS emblem.

Just three months after his release, this teenager is said to have resumed IS propaganda and, together with an accomplice, shot a man sitting on a park bench in the thigh with a BB gun. At the end of November, he and his alleged accomplice will have to stand trial again for terrorist organisation and attempted grievous bodily harm.

Suella Braverman’s Tough TALK is Welcome, But Where’s the ACTION? Two-tier Policing

On today’s #NCFNewspeak, NCF Director Peter Whittle and Senior Fellows Dr. Philip Kiszely and Rafe Heydel-Mankoo discuss Home Secretary Suella Braverman’s remarks about two-tier policing in the UK, the Armistice Day protests and what they have revealed about the police and disturbing scenes of Islamic extremism on the streets of Britain this week.

Swedish Security Services Reject Record Number of Naturalizations

Sweden’s center-right government, which is grappling with the highest crime rate in northern Europe and an increasingly out-of-control security situation precipitated by many years of left-liberal, pro-mass migration policies, appears to be taking action in an attempt to reverse, or at the very least slow down its societal turmoil.

So far this year, Säpo, Sweden’s security service, which is responsible for maintaining the country’s national security, has prevented over 600 migrants, a record number, from obtaining Swedish citizenship, the news agency TT reported.

The number of naturalization rejections so far this year marks at least a 308% increase compared to 2019 when the security services objected to 147 applications for naturalization.

Reasons for naturalization rejections can include evidence of harboring extremist sympathies, having committed serious crimes in other countries, suspicion of war crimes, or connection to adversarial foreign countries.

Presently, there exists no legal mechanism in Sweden that allows for the residence permit of an individual who has been deemed a security threat to be revoked if they have resided in the country for more than three years.

However, now, in light of the rapidly deteriorating security situation, and with the Swedish state woefully unprepared and undermanned to truly rectify the problem, Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson’s government—in an attempt to attenuate the country’s ever-worsening social maladies—appears to be exploring the possibility of extending the three-year deadline or, in some cases, removing it altogether. The government is also looking to expand the number of legal grounds on which a residency permit can be revoked.

Days ago, in an opinion editorial penned for Stockholm-based newspaper Svenska Dagbladet, Migration Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard (M), Sweden Democrat MP Ludvig Aspling, Christian Democrat MP Ingemar Kihlström, and Liberal MP Mauricio Rojas argued in favor of lowering the hurdles for revoking Swedish residence permits and denying Swedish citizenship.

“Anyone who can be assumed to conduct activities with links to terrorism or state-controlled corporate espionage should not only be denied Swedish citizenship but also be able to lose their residence permit,” the group wrote.

The news comes a month after Jimmie Åkesson, the leader of the national-conservative Sweden Democrats (SD) party, called for migrants with criminal records and those with dual nationalities who refuse to integrate into Swedish society to have their Swedish citizenship revoked.

Speaking to the Swedish newspaper Expressen, Åkesson said:

What we have said so far is that you should be able to look at citizenship for terrorists and for gang criminals. These types of crime are put on an equal footing. That means that you are abandoning the principle of equality before the law. And once you’ve started doing that, you can actually take that reasoning further. And I am absolutely prepared to do so, in the situation we are in.

We have a situation where people live in Sweden, as citizens of Sweden, but they still can’t speak Swedish. They have no connection whatsoever to Swedish society. They are only here to commit crimes. They bring down the reputation of Swedish citizenship and Swedish passports internationally. Sweden now needs to get away from all this … I don’t think there’s any other solution than to start looking at tearing up citizenships.

The Kristersson administration has asked the European Commission to strengthen the protections against immigrants who constitute a security threat.

“The terrorist attacks in Brussels show that the Union is only as strong as its weakest link,” Migration Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard said.

Sweden has also requested that the issue be included on the agenda at the European Council meeting in December, with items to be discussed including increased border controls at EU’s external borders; increased exchange of information between member states; improved usage of EU databases and information systems; a halt to the financing of terrorism; the passing of the Asylum and Migration pact; and an EU-wide focus on effective deportations.

As The European Conservative previously reported, the number of fatal shootings in Sweden reached a new peak in 2022, surpassing the previous record set in 2020, with 47 people having lost their lives as a result of gun violence. As of October 13th, 48 people had been killed in fatal shootings in 2023.

Nearly 1,200 crimes in Berlin related to Israel-Hamas War after synagogue firebombing

Berlin authorities recorded nearly 1,200 crimes related to the Israel-Hamas War after the recent firebombing of a synagogue.

Many of the 1,199 instances of criminal activity involve vandalism targeting Jews and Israel, accusing one or both of genocide against Palestinians.

They also include 345 instances of violent crime, most involving pro-Palestine protesters clashing with German police during riots in the capital.

Police are also investigating 93 cases of incitement of hatred and 21 of threats and illegal coercion, says Die Welt.

Anti-Semitic attacks have increased in Germany since masked perpetrators threw Molotov cocktails at the Orthodox Kahal Adass Jisroel synagogue on 18 October.

The synagogue was built in 2014 on the site of the historic 19th-century Beth Zion, destroyed during 1938’s Kristallnacht.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said he was both “ashamed and outraged” at Germany’s recent surge of anti-Semitic violence, speaking at a Kristallnacht commemoration held at the synagogue.

“Essentially this is about keeping the promise given again and again in the decades since 1945… the promise ‘never again’,” he added.

“Every form of anti-Semitism poisons our society,” he told those gathered, insisting Germany would “never tolerate” it.

There are parallels “between the mentality of radical Islamists who want the extermination of Israel and the Jews, and those on the far right who despise our culture of Shoah remembrance,” says 102-year-old holocaust survivor Josef Schuster.

Leftists have made a ‘scientific’ breakthrough when it comes to CO2 and food

By Andrea Widburg

There are two ways of viewing CO2: There’s the sane and scientific way, which is that CO2 is a relatively rare gas that is a necessary component of life on earth because it is integral to the photosynthesis that creates plant life, and plant life is the core nutrient for all other life, both as a supplier of food and oxygen. Alternatively, there’s the insane, “anthropogenic climate change” way, which holds that CO2 is going to kill us all and that we need to do the best we can to eradicate its presence from our atmosphere. In the latter category are “scientists” who think they’ve come up with the ultimate way to get rid of that pesky CO2: Convert it into food!

I know that sounds like a joke—that is, using lab techniques to create food from CO2 itself, when nature does a perfectly fine job of making food from CO2—but it’s a real article from Nature, which used to be a science publication:

From air to your plate: tech startups making food from atmospheric CO2

Food tech companies are taking bacteria that capture CO2 from air to make edible and nutritious food and drink.

Food startups based in the United States and Europe are using carbon dioxide to create food. Californian company Air Protein has raised $107 million to create steak and scallop products from CO2. In June, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Novo Nordisk Foundation invested $29.2 million into a Novozymes and Topsoe project that is using CO2 to produce proteins for human food without involving agricultural land. Others are stepping into the CO2 food arena as well (Table 1). For Air Protein founder Lisa Dyson, scaling up protein production to feed 9.8 billion people by 2050 must entail an environmentally responsible approach: “How can we make more food in a way that is climate positive?”

So, when you and I think about CO2 and food creation, we have visions of sunshine, water, and CO2 coming together to encourage plant growth—plants we eat or plants that animals eat to produce milk, eggs, and meat. If you like, you can also think of it as a great way to encourage getting high because indoor marijuana growers buy CO2 to help their crop. The process is ancient, organic, and all-natural.

Image: Photosynthesis by At09kg, Wattcle, and Nefronus. CC BY-SA 4.0.

However, in labs across America and Europe, they’re doing something that has a definite aura of Frankenstein’s monster about it:

NASA subject matter expert in biotech Bruce Link from the Kennedy Space Center says that although photosynthesis by carbon-fixing plants is the main route to food production, there are alternatives. “[Photosynthesis] can be done either by life forms or catalytically,” says Link. “If you are in an environment where sulfur or hydrogen are abundant, you can convert the CO2 into chains of carbon, which are basically oils.”

No longer do we need something as crude as cows eating CO2-fed plants and then producing milk that humans enjoy for everything from hot cocoa to butter to yogurt to ice cream. Now, we have a much more exciting process:

Their goal is to genetically engineer microbes that feed on CO2 and hydrogen to secrete β-lactoglobulin, the major protein in whey from cow’s milk. Although milk has a multitude of other components, the consortium will start with β-lactoglobulin as it constitutes approximately 65% of the total whey protein.

Yum!

There’s more in the article but I started feeling queasy. The whole thing reminds me of the debate back in the 1970s, when there were expensive studies proving that mother’s milk is better for babies than lab produced “infant formula.” Now we’re moving backward. We’re being told that lab produced CO2 protein derived gunk is healthier than the food chain that Mother Nature has been producing for literally billions of years—and that our bodies have adapted to optimizing since humankind has existed.

Governing VVD rakes in double the donations from wealthy financiers versus any other party ahead of Dutch election

The governing People’s Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) has received more than double the sum of high-value donations versus any other political party in the lead-up to the Dutch general election later this month, as wealthy financial backers seek to preserve the status quo in the Netherlands amid a rise of populism across Europe.

The VVD has declared €1.51 million in donations over the reporting threshold of €10,000 so far this year, according to government data cited by De Volkskrant newspaper, dwarfing the figures received by some of its closest political rivals in the national polls including Pieter Omtzigt’s New Social Contract (NSC), which has not received any donations of €10,000 or more.

GroenLinks, the left-wing environmentalists who are contesting the election in a political alliance with the Dutch Labour Party (PvdA) under the stewardship of former European Commission Vice President Frans Timmermans, received the second-highest total of high-value donations with €708,000.

The Socialist Party (SP) has raked in €666,000 from wealthy backers, followed by the socially liberal Democrats 66 (D66) with €462,000 and Thierry Baudet’s eurosceptic Forum for Democracy (FvD) with €240,000 in its coffers.

Political parties seemingly punching above their weight in the polls, taking into account the support of wealthy financiers, include right-wing populist Geert Wilders’ Party for Freedom (PVV), which reported just one high-value donation of €15,000.

Similarly, the agrarian populist Farmer–Citizen Movement (BBB), which took the local elections by storm back in March, has amassed a solitary large donation of €10,000.

The figures do not include donations under the reporting threshold and thus do not give a comprehensive picture of the war chests available to the political parties fighting for power in the hotly contested election scheduled for Nov. 22.

For example, the PvdA collects a considerable number of smaller contributions from its approximately 39,500 members.

Latest polling conducted by I&O published this week showed NSC had edged ahead of VVD, the party of retiring Prime Minister Mark Rutte and now run by Turkish-born Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius.

Timmermans’ left-wing alliance, GL-PvdA, is currently third in the projections, and Wilders’ PVV lies fourth despite the noticeable absence of substantial financial backing.

The Dutch establishment will be keen to avoid a shift toward populist parties as has been witnessed in several European Union nations over the past 12 months, including Italy, Slovakia, and even Sweden where a center-right administration is propped up by the right-wing populist Sweden Democrats.

Immigration has been an important issue on the campaign trail with both the top-polling parties vowing to cut migration numbers. However, many voters are skeptical of the VVD’s desire to actually do so considering it has led a government that has overseen a surge in new arrivals and contributed to an asylum crisis across the country.

One party that remains unequivocal on slashing migrant numbers is Wilders’ PVV, which has committed to an asylum quota of precisely “zero.”

On the campaign trail, the anti-Islam politician has lamented the policies of the current administration, claiming that “everything we hold dear has been given away. Our money, our safety, our homes.”

He has vowed to “reconquer the Netherlands” and “give it back to the Dutch,” rhetoric that some parties consider unpalatable.

While the leader of the VVD, current Justice Minister Yeşilgöz-Zegerius, has remained tight-lipped on involving Wilders in any future coalition government, NSC leader Pieter Omtzigt has ruled out any such pact.

IRELAND: Male Transgender BDSM Fetishist Wins Award for Playing Football Against Young Women and Girls

A trans-identified male athlete who has been criticized for playing Gaelic football against young women and teen girls has now been granted a sports award and positively profiled by Ireland’s longest-running LGBT publication. Giulia Valentino, formerly Marco Valentino and 39 years old, was praised as a “trailblazer” by Gay Community News in an article announcing that he was a recipient of the 2023 Galas LGBTQ+ Sports Award, which was presented to him in Dublin on October 7.

In an article for their October issueGay Community News (GCN) celebrated Valentino’s “bravery and grace” for “continuously standing up for trans women in sport,” despite facing “considerable transphobic hate and lies.” The publication also highlighted his “outstanding advocacy” while working with Transgender Equality Network Ireland (TENI) to ensure that the Ladies Gaelic Football Association implemented a policy allowing men to compete against female athletes on the basis of gender identity.

“Giulia was initially excluded from Irish rugby due to a transphobic IRFU ban, but [his] outstanding advocacy and work with TENI moved the LGFA to create a trans-inclusive policy so that trans women can fully and safely participate in GAA (Na Gaeil Aeracha) and rugby (Emerald Warriors).”

GCN continued, “Upon receiving [his] award, Giulia shared [he] is a proud member of Emerald Warriors, that [he] was honored to be recognized, and thanked everyone for supporting [him] through a ‘tough but incredible year.’”

Valentino first came to widespread media attention after he was found to have been playing against young women and girls last summer in the Ladies Gaelic Football Junior-J Shield tournament.

At the time, Valentino was a member of “inclusive” football club Na Gaeil Aeracha, established in 2020, which had an explicit policy stating that any person playing for the team “may play at training or in a match for the team they best identify with, without restriction.”

Photos from the tournament game began to circulate on social media after sports writer Ewan MacKenna called attention to the results, prompting outcry. One widely-shared photo shows Valentino, then 37 years old, on the field next to a much younger female opponent who appeared to be in her teens.

Reduxx was later contacted by a teammate of the girl in the photo who confirmed she was a minor. Multiple women’s rights activists were rapidly banned from X (formerly Twitter) after objecting to Valentino’s participation against the young female footballers.

source who had attended the game depicted in the image told The Independent that the referee initially believed Valentino was part of Na Gaeil Aeracha’s back room team until he saw him playing against the female athletes.

After he realized that Valentino was competing in the match, he stopped the game to tell Na Gaeil Aeracha that there was “a problem with your number 21” and told them “the player is a man.”

Acknowledging the backlash, the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) and the Ladies’ Gaelic Football Association (LGFA) released a statement promising to implement a revised policy on transgender athletes. Disturbingly, The Guardian soon revealed that Valentino was working with the LGFA to create their new guidelines, prompting criticism from women’s rights campaigners.

A group which lobbies for the preservation of sex-based rights in law and policy, The Countess, released a statement in response after learning of Valentino’s approved application to continue competing against female athletes. Countess Sports Working Group lead representative, identified only as Sorcha, said in a statement, “Women and girls have a right to fair competition, safety on the field of play, and privacy in the changing areas. We are campaigning to protect all of this.”

transgender policy statement posted to the LGFA official website in February of this year explicitly permits the participation of boys and men who claim to have a female identity, beginning from the age of 12.

“The Association is committed to the inclusion of Trans-women into the LGFA. The Association intends that those Trans-women who have their LGFA Transgender Application Form approved are supported in doing so in a safe and inclusive environment. The Association reiterates that it will not tolerate any harassment or discrimination within the LGFA,” the policy states. “This Policy applies to all Trans-women, over the age of 12, who seek to play, or continue playing, Ladies Gaelic Football.”

The policy does not include information on whether transgender athletes are invited to share locker rooms with female teammates. However, in 2021, Valentino complained about being asked to use a separate changing room while playing on a Dublin rugby team, and told GCN, “I am quite annoyed by this harsh approach.”

News that Valentino had been presented with a sports award sparked outrage online from many who expressed concern that a man should be rewarded for competing in a contact sport against young women. Some critics highlighted Valentino’s affinity for attending fetish clubs and posting online about his “kinks.”

Across social media platforms, including Facebook, Flickr, and FetLife, Valentino discusses fetishism, refers to himself as a “dyke” and a “slut,” and shares photos of sex toys, as well as images of himself in bondage and fetish gear. He has also been performing at BDSM fetish clubs under the moniker DJ Mav.

Prior to relocating to Dublin in 2019, Valentino was a resident DJ at a BDSM venue called the Ritual and Torture Garden, performing at both of their locations in Rome and London. According to a post on Valentino’s SoundCloud page, he also performed at a bondage festival in Munich. He is currently the resident DJ for a fetish club in Dublin called Nimhneach, which means ‘painful’ or ‘sore’ in Gaelic.

According to his FetLife profile, Valentino is a member of and attends a fetish group called Women in Ireland, which advertises itself as “a place to explore the kinky world in a female-only environment… By ‘women’ or ‘female’ we mean all people who identify as women (cis, trans, non-binary).”

Valentino at the Ritual and Torture Garden. Photo Source: Facebook.

Women in Ireland’s group description warns against men with fetishes for pretending to be women, despite being open to men who self-identify as female.

“We are not about having ‘acting like a woman’ or ‘dressing like a woman’ as a kink, or things like sissification, where being a woman is humiliating because it is somehow ‘less-than’ being a man,” reads the description.

“We’re not the gender police,” it continues. “Men, boys, dude-bros, gentlemen, bears, cavemen, guys, blokes, geezers, chaps etc: We love you dearly, but this group is not for you. We respectfully ask that you not invade this space.”

Germany: 93-year-old senior citizen died after being raped by Pakistani asylum seeker

google street view

It is a crime that is shocking: Mohammad A. (49) allegedly raped and seriously injured a 93-year-old neighbour in her flat in February. The elderly woman died two months later as a result. The trial began today, Friday, at the Zwickau Regional Court.

Mohammad A. (49) is facing charges including sexual assault resulting in death.

Pakistani national A., who has a criminal record, is accused of serious offences: On the evening of February 14 in Reichenbach, he allegedly went to his neighbour, who lived in the same house, and forced his way in. He announced to the senior citizen that he wanted to have sex with her.

When the victim denied this, he is said to have thrown the elderly woman against the walls several times and choked her.

Disgusting: During the fight, the perpetrator bit his victim in the breasts! According to the senior citizen, the rapist went into the living room in between and smoked a cigarette on the couch.

The altercation is said to have been violent: “Among other things, the injured party suffered a multi-fragment fracture of the socket of the left hip joint and a fracture of the anterior pelvic ring on the left”, according to the indictment.
At the end of the offence, he allegedly stole 200 euros from the flat. The accused is unskilled and lived on welfare benefits. Among other things, A. is accused of particularly serious sexual assault resulting in death.

As a result of her injuries, the pensioner fell ill with pneumonia and died on April 12. During the trial, police officers testified as witnesses and stated that a used fag was found under the coffee table.

The court, presided over by judge Torsten Sommer, now has the task of reconstructing the course of events. The accused is unwilling to comment on the allegations. The trial will continue on November 21.
