GB News eats itself amid ongoing misogyny scandal as third presenter is suspended after warning channel against succumbing to ‘woke mob’

A fledgling news channel in the U.K. has suspended a third presenter in relation to public outrage over alleged misogynistic remarks made by outspoken presenter Laurence Fox during an interview on Tuesday evening.

The Rev. Calvin Robinson confirmed on social media on Friday that he had been taken off air by GB News just hours after publicly supporting Dan Wootton, one of the suspended presenters suffering a backlash from media commentators and politicians following the controversy.

Robinson announced that he would be refraining from appearing on the Dan Wootton Tonight program without the star host and warned the “ambitious careerists” within the GB News organization against succumbing to the “woke mob” baying for Wootton and Fox to be sacked.

He added that the channel, which in its Editorial Charter vows to “give a voice to the real Britain,” will be on “borrowed time” if it becomes simply another mainstream media outlet “afraid of [U.K. regulator] Ofcom” and “afraid of the woke mob.”

“If he falls, we all fall,” the Free Church of England deacon said as he called for solidarity among the GB News ranks with their fellow presenters. “We are about to see if people really care about the project, or they just want a better slot, with a bigger team and better pay.”

He later confirmed he had been suspended.

Wootton and Fox have been in the media spotlight this week following an interview on Tuesday evening during which Fox, a former actor and current leader of the Reclaim Party, criticized Politics Joe journalist, Ava Santina-Evans, accusing her of making light of male suicide during a televized BBC debate earlier in the week.

“We’re past the watershed so I can say this. Show me a single self-respecting man who would like to climb into bed with that woman ever, ever…” Fox said.

“We need powerful, strong, amazing women who make great points for themselves, we don’t need these sort of feminist 4.0… they’re pathetic and embarrassing. Who would want to shag that?” Fox added.

Dan Wootton, presenting the show, could be seen smirking and laughing at the remarks as they were made.

In the public fallout on Wednesday, Fox initially refused to apologize for the remarks, unlike Wootton who posted an apology to Ms. Santina-Evans on his social media platforms, a statement that was undermined by Fox who shared a private exchange between the two journalists in which Wootton could be seen making light of the remarks.

Fox eventually posted a video on Thursday evening in which he expressed regret for the “demeaning” remarks, insisting they were “not representative of who I am” but maintained “the sentiment” of his comments, explaining his continued anger for what he claimed was Ms. Santina-Evans’ demeaning of male suicide.

The issue has fuelled a larger debate after the intervention of a governing Conservative MP, Caroline Nokes, who called for GB News to be “shut down” and urged regulator Ofcom to intervene.

“I think there is a really serious case to answer, and I hope that Ofcom can conclude its investigations as swiftly as possible,” she said.

“I think it should be taken off air, it was entirely predictable that Laurence Fox was going to come out with a statement that was offensive,” Nokes added.

It is worth noting that Nokes had appeared on the channel no fewer than nine times before calling for it to be canceled.

“I think there is a delicate and important broadcast ecology in this country. I think GB News is trying to bust that ecology, and frankly, what Ofcom should do is shut it down,” added former Sky News anchor Adam Boulton.

However, a number of media commentators and politicians have since come out in defense of the channel, which is facing an existential crisis by suspending seemingly dissenting presenters after positioning itself as a bastion of free speech.

David Davis, a former government minister and former leadership candidate for the Conservative Party, described calls to cancel the channel as “alarming” and said that whilst “Fox’s comments were crass and rude, indeed disgusting… TV channels should not be shut down because one of the people on their channel says something offensive on live broadcast.”

He added that no other broadcasters within the U.K. mainstream media faced such calls after indiscretions, and insisted that Britain “is supposed to be a democracy, not an authoritarian state.”

This was followed by Toby Young, the general secretary of the Free Speech Union, who said he hoped Fox won’t be fired from the channel.

“I know him and like him and admire his courage. He said something stupid, but he’s apologized. No one should lose their livelihood for a few ill-chosen words,” Young posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Many supporters of the presenters in question are now questioning whether the GB News leadership is bringing the channel’s own demise after what they consider to be its weak management throwing its under-pressure staff under the bus.

The channel’s CEO, Angelos Frangopoulos, told BBC Radio 4’s Today program on Friday morning that Fox’s comments “did not reflect what we believe is appropriate conversation as a media company, as a part of the national conversation” and apologized personally to Ms. Santina-Evans.

UK: Activist Mayor Resigns After Photos Surface Showing Him Socializing With Pedophile Ex-Councilor

The Mayor of Hackney, London, was suspended by the Labour Party and subsequently resigned following the emergence of photos showing him socializing with a pedophile ex-town councilor. Philip Glanville, a strong proponent of gender ideology policies, was responsible for raising the first “progress flag” at Hackney Town Hall.

In the disturbing photo, Glanville is seen posing with disgraced ex-councilor Tom Dewey at a Eurovision watch party. Just weeks prior to the photo, on April 29, 2022, Dewey had been arrested for possession of child sexual abuse material. Dewey admitted to three counts of possessing indecent images of children.

Despite having been arrested for pedophilic crimes, Dewey was elected a councilor in Hackney.

After the photo was made public, Glanville claimed he had not known of the “full extent” of the allegations against Dewey. This is despite the fact he shared a house with the other man, one which was raided by the National Crime Agency after receiving “four cyber tipline reports identifying the user of an online Google account who had uploaded indecent prohibited images of children to his online storage.”

From the home, officers seized two laptops, two tablets and a hard drive. After a digital forensic examination, 249 indecent images of children were found on the devices, dating from January 2008 to April 2022.

Dewey was charged in June of 2023 and sentenced in August at Wood Green Crown Court after pleading guilty to three counts of possessing indecent images of children. At least five of the images Dewey had on his devices were classified in the most serious category.

A source within the Labour Party told the BBC that the photo was “a clear contradiction of information that was previously given by Philip Glanville to us and the media.” Glanville, who shared a house with Dewey at the time of the arrest, told a council meeting he “was not made aware of the police investigation until after the May [of] 2022 elections, when I was told by the council.”

As a result of the photo’s circulation, Glanville was suspended from the Labour Party. Due to the fact he was elected to the post as Mayor of Hackney, he was not initially removed, but he announced his resignation shortly after on September 15.

“As I previously made clear I had my trust betrayed, but in turn I made an error of judgement and was not as transparent as I should have been. For that I accept full responsibility,” Glanville said in the statement announcing his resignation, which he uploaded to X (formerly Twitter.)

He continued, “It’s also for this error of personal judgement that I reiterate my apology to the people of Hackney, the Council and my colleagues.”

During his tenure, Glanville prided himself on his efforts to make Hackney more inclusive.

In February of 2023, in observance of LGBT History month, Glanville erected the first progress pride flag ever raised at Town Hall. A pride event was also hosted on the public grounds which featured a drag show.

At the time, Glanville stated that the pride flag ceremony “adds vital visibility to our borough’s commitment to equality, especially when trans rights are under attack and we need to reiterate that all LGBTQI+ Black Lives Matter.”

Glanville criticised the UK government’s decision to block Scotland’s Gender Reform Bill in January of 2023. The bill would have allowed anyone to self identify their legal gender and was criticised by various women’s rights groups. Despite the pushback, the bill was passed but was blocked by the UK government in an unprecedented move.

“This is a human rights & devolution issue where yet again trans rights are being used in an endless reductive culture war,” Glanville wrote on X.

Praising a Nazi: Why exactly did the Trudeau-NDP axis do it?

On September 22, after Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the Canadian Parliament, Speaker Anthony Rota praised Yaroslav Hunka, 98, “who fought [for] the Ukrainian independence against the Russians and continues to support the troops today.” The Speaker, a member of the Liberal Party, was a big fan.

“I’m proud to say that he [Hunka] is from North Bay and from my riding of Nipissing-Timiskaming” and according to Rota, Hunka “is a Ukrainian hero, a Canadian hero, and we thank him for all his service.”

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and New Democratic Party (NDP) boss Jagmeet Singh joined Rota and their respective parties in honoring Hunka with two standing ovations. As Friends of the Simon Wiesenthal Center and other Jewish groups pointed, Yaroslav Hunka was a strange sort of hero.

Hunka served under Nazi command with the Waffen-SS Galicia Division, a voluntary unit also known as the SS 14th Waffen Division or the First Ukrainian Division. During World War II, Hunka’s unit committed atrocities against the Polish resistance and in the village of Huta Pieniacka massacred adults and children alike. The International Military Tribunal in Nuremberg declared Hunka’s unit a criminal organization.

Canadians had a right to wonder what this Nazi was doing in Canada and how his murderous past remained hidden for so long. As the people might recall, key historical issues are in play.

On August 23, 1939, Stalin and Hitler signed their Pact and the next month both totalitarian powers invaded Poland, effectively starting World War II. Canada was involved from the start and gained great experience fighting Nazis. The able bodied who declined to fight were known as “zombies,” and future Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau was one of them.

During Canada’s Covid crackdown, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau accused Conservative politicians who supported the protesting truckers of standing with “people who wave swastikas.” Trudeau fils was not alone.

Liberal member of Parliament Ya’ara Saks claimed that the truckers’ “honk honk” meant “heil Hitler.” Saks, who serves as “Mental Health and Addictions Minister,” was among those cheering Hunka. His case recalls Kurt Waldheim, fourth Secretary General of the United Nations.

Waldheim had been a member of the Nationalsozialistiche Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, the National Socialist German Workers Party.  During World War II, Waldheim served in the  Sturmabteilung or SA, also known as Sturmtruppen, storm troopers, or Braunhemden, brownshirts, for the color of their uniform.

Waldheim also served in an intelligence unit known for transport of civilians to slave labor camps, deportation of Jews to death camps, reprisal execution of hostages, and massacres of partisans and civilians in the Balkans.

This record escaped revelation when Waldheim was tapped to head the United Nations, where he served from 1972-1981. The truth only emerged in the mid-1980s, when the Nazi veteran ran for president of Austria. The U.S. Department of Justice put Waldheim’s name on a watchlist, which barred him from entering the United States.

Comics quipped that the former UN boss suffered from “Waldheimer’s Disease,” which made him forget he was a Nazi. A Waldheimer’s Variant is now spreading on both sides of the border where, as Saul Bellow said, the need for illusion is deep.

The Variant fosters ignorance of National Socialism, the most-documented totalitarian and anti-Semitic movement of modern times. Those stricken with the Variant are unable to conduct research on Nazi war criminals, and can even wind up applauding them in public. The Waldheimer variant also causes people to brand their political opponents as Nazis, but there’s more to it.

The children, grandchildren, friends and relatives of Canadian WWII veterans joined in the “freedom convoy” to protest Trudeau’s Covid lockdowns that harmed their ability to make a living. Trudeau, Saks et al called them Nazis. That is about as bad as it gets – except for applauding an actual Nazi, as Speaker Rota said, as a “Canadian hero.”

If you want a Canadian hero, find a member of Canada’s Eighth Reconnaissance Regiment, known for being “first in, last out.” On April 12, 1945, the regiment’s C company liberated the Westerbork transit camp, which had sent thousands of Dutch Jews to Auschwitz and Sobibor. The 876 who remained were glad to see the Canadians.

If you want a Canadian hero, find a member of the First Special Services Force (FSSF). In their first combat assignment, these Canadian and American commandos scaled Monte la Difensa at night, in the rain. In fierce fighting, the FSSF took down a heavily armed Nazi force.

The FSSF also defeated Nazi forces at Monte Majo, Hill 720, Monte Rementana, Radicosa, the Anzio beachhead, Artena, Colleferro and Rome. They cleared the way for the Allies to move north through Italy. As of last year, four Canadian and 17 American FSSF members remained.

Instead of honoring authentic Canadian heroes, Trudeau’s Liberal-NDP axis cheers Nazi veteran Yaroslav Hunka. Rota has apologized and stepped down, but the rot goes right to the top.

As Edward Gibbon noted, hereditary rule is always the most risible, and apart from the family connection, Canadians would be hard pressed to find any merit in Justin Trudeau. The former blackface performer, an admirer of China’s “basic dictatorship,” should resign and call an election. To paraphrase French Resistance fighter Charles de Gaulle, vive le Canada libre!

Only Mexico surpasses Sweden as non-warring nation with most bombings

Sweden is second only to Mexico as the top country in the world not currently at war to experience the most bombings on its territory, according to a leading criminologist.

Ardavan Khoshnood, a guest lecturer at Malmö University and senior fellow at Lund University, warned that the Scandinavian country has become the bombing capital of Europe.

“Sweden stands out completely,” he told the Svenska Dagbladet newspaper.

“When my colleagues in Stockholm looked at this, they saw that Mexico is the only country in the world not at war that has more explosions than Sweden,” he added.

Sweden has been gripped by a surge in criminal gang warfare in multiple cities across the country, and authorities are facing an uphill battle to restore law and order.

It is a battle they are currently losing comprehensively, with 130 bombings recorded in the country so far this year, just three shy of the previous record year.

“With three months left in the year, the number of explosions is already at the same level as the record year 2019, when 133 detonations took place around Sweden. Comparable countries in our vicinity do not exist,” Khoshnood said.

He warned that those responsible for the explosions are becoming more sophisticated in their approach.

“We have moved toward more powerful explosive charges. Initially, it was about throwing hand grenades, now we see that they have moved on to explosives and more advanced detonations,” the leading criminologist explained.

The situation in Sweden has deteriorated drastically in this month alone, with 11 fatal shootings reported and 11 detonated explosions across the country.

The latest bombing occurred on Thursday at a residential apartment in Uppsala, about an hour’s drive north of Stockholm. A 25-year-old woman with no gang affiliation died in the blast. Police believe the attack was targeting one of the victim’s neighbors who is understood to be an associate of 37-year-old Rawa Majid. Nicknamed the Kurdish Fox, Majid is engrossed in a power struggle for control of the notorious Foxtrot criminal gang operating in the country.

The practice of gang members using detonated explosions is a relatively recent phenomenon in Sweden and was virtually non-existent before the turn of the century. However, the rise of gang warfare in the country, coupled undeniably with large waves of mass immigration, saw reports of bombings sharply increase in the 2010s, leading the Crime Prevention Council to start recording statistics on the explosions in 2018.

Since that time, the number of explosions annually in the country has fluctuated between 79 and 133, according to the Svenska Dagbladet newspaper.

The latest wave of violence to shake the country resulted in Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson addressing the nation on Thursday evening during which he blamed “political naivety” and “unsuccessful integration” as the main reasons for the ongoing crisis.

He lamented the rise in “gang crime and child soldiers” on Swedish streets and announced emergency talks with the head of the national police, Anders Thornberg, and Supreme Commander of the Swedish Armed Forces Micael Bydén on Friday morning to discuss how the military could step in to assist the overpowered police force.

“Now, more and more children and completely innocent people are affected by the gross violence. I cannot emphasize enough how serious the situation is. Sweden has never seen anything like this before. No other country in Europe has seen anything like this,” the Swedish prime minister told the nation.

Here’s how we know that climate change hysteria is bunkum

Whenever the temperature rises or falls this is true climate change.

When the sun rises in the morning, the temperature usually rises gradually and in the afternoon the temperature usually falls gradually and this is climate change. When the temperature usually falls at night this is also climate change. When it rains or snows the temperature usually falls whether it is the daytime or at night and this is climate change.

When it is cloudy the temperature usually falls or doesn’t increase as much. When there is pollution in the sky such as smoke from a wildfire then the temperature usually doesn’t rise or fall that much. Seasonal changes in temperature in the spring, summer, fall, and winter is also climate change.

The temperature change on a mountaintop is vastly different from the temperature change in a valley or over a desert such as the Sahara desert or Death Valley. The temperature change over the oceans, lakes, and bays is different depending on the location where it is measured in the world and the square area of the water being considered.

Thus for an accurate average yearly temperature worldwide you scientifically need to measure the temperature average over each square kilometer or mile of the earth’s surface for a whole year. We don’t have the ability to do so now and probably won’t have that ability any time soon.

So, scientifically we can’t prove or show that a 1% rise in CO2 will cause an x% rise in average worldwide temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius. You may intuitively feel that a rise in CO2 should also make the average world temperature to rise but by how much is pure guesswork and probably way off a truthful estimate. Yes, there is climate change but how much warming if any is due to an increase in CO2 is basically scientifically unknown on into the foreseeable future. Climate models for future average temperatures are often wild, unverifiable, and predicted average temperature changes designed to fear monger humans into doing some desperate measures to avoid the delusional predicted Armageddon of severe global warming.

Also, no one has scientifically calculated how much of the extra CO2 generated by fossil fuels has been absorbed by plants worldwide or by the water worldwide.

The only rational conclusion is that climate change is a political weapon used to justify oppressive government legislation trying to kill off fossil fuel usage with crazy and costly solutions like carbon capture and forcing one to ultimately use only electric vehicles powered by unreliable and costly renewable sources of energy like solar and wind. Climate change is a fear tactic used by politicians and woke elites to justify oppressive government regulations and taxation on fossil fuel industries.

I have to agree that some climate change is manmade such as the conversion of forested areas into agricultural land and pollution of the air with particulates and chemicals from coal burning and manufacturing plant chemicals. These kinds of activities have a greater impact on climate change than an insignificant increase in CO2. A healthy respect for the environment, especially wilderness and park areas, is what is urgently needed and not the fear mongering tactics of the climate change propagandists.

Yes, I believe that climate change exists but what percentage is manmade is debatable and scientifically unprovable and what percentage of CO2 causes the temperature to rise significantly is scientifically unknown and unprovable so far. No one is currently able to prove or predict the average worldwide temperature of the earth. So, you can’t rationally or truthfully even talk about it without sounding like an ill-informed idiot.

For those of you with a little scientific and math background you will better understand what is scientifically and mathematically provable. A mathematical equation for a variable and how it changes is shown by known variables on the right side of the equation. If there are too many unknown variables on the right side of the equation then the variable on the left side of the equation is also unknown. So, when mathematically there are too many unknown variables like those impacting climate change then no provable equation is possible.

To be scientific, the known variables must be measured experimentally in the real world such as with the use of temperature thermometers. There is no such experimental evidence in climate change calculations. So, climate change is neither scientific nor mathematical for the time being and all predictions are made by charlatans who don’t know what they are talking about or have a deceptive political agenda to impose on the gullible public.

UK: Birmingham police pull out of controversial Islamic conference after sparking outrage

West Midlands Police has pulled out of exhibiting at a religious conference this weekend after a GB News investigation uncovered a litany of controversial remarks by the speakers.

The Birmingham police were set to exhibit at the LPM Conference, hosted by the Islam Channel, at the International Convention Centre tomorrow.

But the force confirmed that it had retracted its attendance after GB News sent a dossier of controversial remarks that speakers had made about the Taliban, non-Muslims, Israel and politicians.

One of the personalities addressing the conference, Haitham Al-Haddad, was last month revealed by GB News Investigates as having attended a charity trip to Afghanistan where he praised the Taliban and called on the West to end sanctions.

Controversial cleric Haitham Al-Haddad said on Afghan state TV: “We have a message to the entire world: That, first of all, they need to engage more with the authorities of Afghanistan and the Afghani people. So engagement is so important. The second point is to end these economic sanctions, really that has to come to an end.”

Earlier in the programme, Al-Haddad said that Taliban ministers were “very soft” and “very gentle.”

He added: “I really congratulate the Afghan people for having such authorities [the Taliban].”

His praise for the Kabul regime comes while Birmingham resident Miles Routledge is being held without charge in a Taliban prison.

The conference will also hear from American Muslim influencer Yusha Evans, who has said that it “sickened” him when Muslims showed affection for “disbelievers.”

Other speakers at the LPM conference include Fatima Barkatulla.

In 2014, she tweeted that William Hague “must be under a lot of pressure from zionists.”

Another speaker, Dr Louay Fatoohi described Israel’s actions in Palestine as a “Gazacaust” and compared it to the Holocaust, saying the “shame of the world” is even greater now.

The booking of these controversial figures to address over 2,000 attendees in Birmingham comes in the same week that the Islam Channel was fined £40,000 by OfCom after it broadcast “hate speech against the Jewish people.”

The regulator said: “On 22 February 2021, Islam Channel broadcast The Andinia Plan, a one-hour documentary examining a conspiracy theory which originated in a neo-Nazi publication. This theory, known as the ‘Andinia Plan’, alleges there is a plan to establish a Jewish state in Patagonia, the southern region of South America governed by Argentina and Chile.”

A spokesperson for Campaign Against Antisemitism told GB News: “The Islam Channel has just been sanctioned by Ofcom for broadcasting antisemitic hate speech, not for the first time. Now it is hosting a conference that includes a speaker who has compared Israeli policy to that of the Nazis, in breach of the International Definition of Antisemitism.

“Why can’t the Islam Channel help itself but promote or associate with people who promote antisemitic conspiracy theories?”

The spokesperson added: “West Midlands Police was right to withdraw from this event after a GB News investigation. Other speakers should reconsider their involvement as well.”

West Midlands Police Federation Chair Richard Cooke said the police pulling out was a “sensible” decision.

But in Birmingham, some residents said it was right for the police to attend the event.

The Islam Channel said that the LPM conference was a completely non-political conference focused on the life of the Prophet Muhammad and that none of the speeches will have any political content.

Germany: 12-year-old German girl locked up and raped by Syrian – He claims she wanted a child from him

With an innocent air, Bilal A. (19) sits in the dock at the Erfurt Regional Court and affirms: “The sex was consensual. She said that she wanted children from me. I swear that I didn’t hurt anyone.”

The judge does not believe one word of the accused, because: The girl in question was only twelve years old.

“If what you say is true, then two women who do not know each other would have made false statements to the police completely independently of each other. Why would they make it all up?” asks the presiding judge.

The prosecution accuses the refugee from Syria, who came to Germany two years ago, of several dozen criminal offences – including aggravated child sexual abuse, robbery, assault and kidnapping. He faces at least five years in prison.

From October to December 2022, he allegedly locked Laura B.(name altered), who was only twelve years old at the time, in her mother’s flat in a prefabricated building for several hours and used a jack knife to threaten, beat, kick and rape her.

“The accused accepted the rejection and the pain of the injured party,” the indictment says. According to the judge, the victim was “clearly a child” due to his physical appearance.

When he was arrested in January, the accused allegedly spat at several police officers and insulted them by saying “I f*ck your mother”. Since then he has been in custody.

As early as July 2022, he allegedly raped, stole from, choked and threatened a Ukrainian woman (33) in his refugee accommodation at Wiesenhügel. He would gouge out her eyes, Bilal A. allegedly said after the woman had ended the relationship with him after three days.

A few weeks later, he met Laura B. while consuming alcohol and drugs on the public square Anger. With the help of a mobile phone translator, the two started talking.

The trial will continue on October 9. A verdict is expected in November.
