A two-state solution for terminally ill France?

A first balance sheet of the war in France:

5,000 vehicles burned, 1,000 buildings on fire, 3,164 arrests, 250 police stations attacked, 10,000 waste fires, 700 members of the police force injured, 234 schools affected, many of which will not reopen in September, 99 mayors attacked.

Two of France’s police unions – which account for 90 per cent of law enforcement – have issued a dramatic warning to the political class. They say they can “no longer bear the diktat of these violent minorities”. They ask to “fight” this “parasite”. And that “we are at war”.

Not even the small towns, far from large population centers and banlieues, have been spared. And it is there that we understand more what is happening.

A fire in Pithiviers, a town of Loiret of Gallic origin, which has 12,000 inhabitants. As in Côte-d’Or, in Beaune, 22,000 inhabitants. “Bakery and petrol station attacked, vehicles burned, fireworks fired at police station,” headlines Le Bien Public. Belley, in Ain, 9,000 inhabitants, seat of a very ancient bishopric.

-Numerous attacks, reports Le Progrès. Burnt cars, broken windows, the terrace of a bar completely destroyed by “twenty young people”.

-Annonay, 16,000 inhabitants, famous for the balloon that rose into the sky one fine day in 1783. 240 years later, trucks burnt there and two cars thrown at the gendarmes and firefighters.

-In Pau, King Henry’s city nestled at the foot of the Pyrenees: a police office, a middle school and a media library set on fire.

-In Moissac, population 13,000, with its famous 11th century cloister, four police cars on fire.

-Not even Amboise, 3,000 inhabitants nestled on the banks of the Loire and dominated by its castle, was spared: the town hall was burned.

-Like Montargis, 15,000 inhabitants, known as the “little Venice” for its bridges and waterways. Here is the story of what it went through: “The pharmacy, the confectioner, the optician and the tailor were in ashes. 300 rioters looted and set fire to the neighborhood. Unable to master the rabid, hooded crowd, the 35 policemen let them rampage until their departure at 3 in the morning.”

“France is going through a perpetual crisis,” Algerian Boualem Sansal explains to Atlantico. “It has entered the thunderstorm zone: the crises follow one another and resemble each other, in almost all zones. There are those who say that France is collapsing: this is the opinion of Michel Onfray, or Eric Zemmour for example. As former Interior Minister Gérard Collomb said, we are sliding towards confrontation. At the moment we are side by side, tomorrow we may come face to face and throw bombs and grenades at each other.”

“When the damage is done, when it goes back this far, it’s comparable to a cancer that has set in and metastasizes. It was necessary to react earlier, at the moment of the first signs. At the time, to stick with the medical metaphor, the treatment could have been relatively simple to administer. There is a desire to break with France and its culture. All this generates hatred, which then leads to violence. There will be no going back to what France was like in the 1960s. It’s over, water has flowed under the bridge and France itself has changed a lot: it has given up entire sectors of its sovereignty in favor of the EU, a bureaucratic and apolitical organization.

“France is doomed at worst to civil war, at best to partition,” Pierre Brochand, the former director of France’s external intelligence service (DGSE), told a Senate hearing.

Two states for two peoples could be the solution with a divided capital in Paris.

Pakistan announces nationwide protest on Friday over Quran burning incident in Sweden

While Pakistan’s economy is in shambles, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called for a nationwide protest on July 7, Friday (Jummah) against the recent burning of the Quran in Sweden. Pakistan will observe the upcoming Friday (July 7) as “Yaum-i-Taqaddus Quran” and will convene a joint parliamentary session a day earlier.

The decision was made during a meeting presided over by Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to discuss the problem of desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden.

In the said meeting it was decided that nationwide protests would be held to condemn the Quran-burning incident. Sharif urged the Pakistani people, including all political parties, to join the protest.

Moreover, in the Joint Parliamentary session to be held on July 6, the MPs will discuss developing a national policy on the subject and represent public opinion through the parliamentary process. In addition, a resolution will also be passed to denounce the burning of the Quran.

Sharif stated that Muslims are united by their belief in the sacredness of the Holy Quran. Errant minds, according to the Prime Minister, were devising a sinister plan to fan the flames of Islamophobia.

The Pakistani Prime Minister also stated that countries and leaders who believe in peace and coexistence must contain violent forces infested with Islamophobia and religious biases.

This comes after a man identified as Salwan Momika burned a copy of the Quran in front of Stockholm’s Central Mosque while under police protection on June 28.

The foreign minister of Turkey, Hakan Fidan, had denounced the incident and said it was wrong to permit anti-Islamic demonstrations in the guise of freedom of expression. “To condone such atrocious acts is to be complicit,” he charged.

Prior to Eid-Al-Adha, on June 28, the Swedish Police gave one Salwan Momika permission to burn the Quran at a demonstration outside the largest mosque in Stockholm after a Swedish court struck down the police’s ban on Quran-burning demonstrations.

Two other requests, one by a private citizen and the other by an organisation, for similar activities that include Quran burning were turned down by police in February outside the Turkish and Iraqi embassies in Stockholm. The appeals court concluded in June that the protests should have been permitted. It ruled, “The order and security problems that the police had cited had not been clearly connected to the planned event or its immediate vicinity.”

Before this, Danish far-right politician Rasmus Paludan burnt a copy of the Quran next to the Turkish embassy in the country’s capital prompting Turkey to halt discussions with Sweden about its NATO membership in late January.

Notably, the Lahore-based ISI-backed Sunni terrorist organisation Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) declared on Sunday, July 2 that it would attack Christians and churches in Pakistan in retaliation to the Quran burning in Sweden.

While Pakistan is fuming over the desecration of the Quran in Sweden, in its own land the self-proclaimed ‘Riyasat-e-Medina’ does not even allow the Ahmadis, a minority Islamic sect to practice to celebrate Islamic festivals. Pakistan is quick to stage protests, and issue condemnations over incidents of ‘Islamophobia’, however, it exhibits deliberate incompetence in protecting the rights and dignity of religious minorities, particularly Hindus and Christians, as several cases of non-Muslim girls being abducted and converted to Islam are reported regularly from there.

‘F**king German, I’ll kill you’ – Knife-wielding Syrian institutionalized after racist threats

A Syrian migrant who threatened multiple people with a knife and made racist remarks was arrested on Tuesday in the city of Neubrandenburg in the German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Police then admitted him to a hospital clinic for evaluation.

The Syrian has been involved in several incidents, with one victim telling regional news portal Nordkurier that he was walking his dog last Thursday when the suspect approached him and stopped him. The suspect then grabbed him by the belt and said, “F**king German, I’ll kill you.”

The victim may have been saved by his dog, who stood protectively in front of his owner. The victim told the man to leave, at which point the Syrian left the scene while making additional threats.

However, the Syrian was not done, and 20 minutes later, he approached a car at an intersection and immediately tried to stab a man who was sitting inside his car with the window open. The Syrian had a 10-centimeter blade during the attack but the victim managed to speed away from the scene.

On Monday, the same suspect again, this time armed with a butter knife, approached another vehicle that contained two Russians. He stopped their car and said he would kill their families. One of the Russians knocked the knife out of the Syrian’s hand, at which point the Syrian tried to punch the man.

The police arrived on the scene and handcuffed the Syrian, who was screaming that he wanted to kill everyone.

The police already had one opportunity to take the perpetrator off the streets, as he had been arrested on June 19 for threatening a man with a knife. However, he was released from custody at that time.

Migrants from Africa and the Middle East have led to a surge in knife attacks across Europe, including in Germany, where 50 knife attacks are recorded every day. Many of the victims have also been young women and children.

Last month, a Syrian asylum seeker stabbed four children and two adults on a playground in Annecy, France, making international headlines and leading to sharp debates about the continuing perils of mass immigration.

Just this week, a 27-year-old Eritrean was sentenced to 15 years in prison for stabbing a young schoolgirl to death in Illerkirchberg while she was waiting at the bus stop with her friend; the friend was also severely stabbed but survived.

The local district administration had denied the man travel documents to travel to Ethiopia where he wanted to get married and then bring his wife back to Germany. Shortly thereafter, he went on a stabbing spree, which the judge said was “motivated by hatred.” Police also found notebooks in the man’s apartments in which he described Germans as “dirty people” who were “just like pigs.”

A Muslim commentator rants in the left-wing German daily TAZ, demanding “Paris must burn !”

Inconceivable derailment in the “taz”.

A commentary on the riots in the French capital says: “Paris must burn”! PARDON?

In the article “Protests by young people in France: They have no choice”, author Mohamed Amjahid (35) puts forward remarkable theses about the serious riots in the neighbouring country.

Amjahid writes, for example: “The shots of the burning cars, the fireworks fired at the state authorities seem like a fragile life insurance for France’s racialised youth.”

Violence, rioting and arson as “life insurance” for the perpetrators? Amjahid is obviously completely taking this seriously!

He writes: “In other countries, too, police stations have had to burst into flames in recent years to give the most vulnerable a chance of survival. Few understand this connection between mobilisation and self-protection.”

Indeed, very few are likely to “understand” why setting fire (!) to police stations and attacking police officers is for the “self-protection” and “survival” of the perpetrators of violence.

But Amjahid adds: “From a purely analytical point of view and from the perspective of the demonstrators: Paris must burn so that something could be done about police violence in the country, at least in the short term.”

“Paris must burn”? An inconceivable statement.

Amjahid adds a justification: “The price for the murders committed by police officers and made possible by politics in the first place must be driven up. The author claims, without any evidence, that the Paris police commit “murders” that are made possible by politics. The victims: residents of the hotspot suburbs (banlieues).

Background: In Paris, violent criminals had committed serious riots in the past few days after a policeman shot Nahel M. (17) who had tried to escape a traffic control. M. succumbed to his injuries. Since M.’s death, residents of the hotspot neighbourhoods of the Paris suburbs have been rioting. Demonstrations during the day, riots at night. Paris descends into chaos, destruction and violence.

Austrian pupils have to attend the graduation worship service in a mosque

Parents in Vorarlberg are upset. The end-of-school service will not take place in a Catholic church, but in a mosque.

“This is going too far in a Christian-social state”.

A mother turned to unzensuriert.at and wrote:

Imagine that my 15-year-old son attends the polytechnic school in Bludenz. In the last week of school there is a graduation service, which is perfectly fine, but the service or whatever takes place in the local mosque. I have nothing against international understanding, but in my opinion this goes too far in a Christian-social state.

Director confirms mosque fair

The educational institution in question is the polytechnic school in Unterfeldstraße in Bludenz. The headmistress of the school confirmed the mother’s statement and gave the following explanation: According to the headmistress, there had been a mass celebration in a Catholic church at the beginning of the school – with an imam (prayer leader in Islam, editor’s note) as a guest. This imam then invited the Catholic priest to a return visit to the only mosque in Bludenz – which is how this final service came about. The response was positive.

Imam as prayer leader for Catholic pupils

Not with all parents, apparently, who do not want to understand why their children with a Catholic confession of faith should pray in a mosque, even if the imam will conduct the mass service together with a Catholic priest. According to the headmistress, this will take place on Thursday, July 6.

The headmistress did not want to reveal how high the proportion of Islamic youths is in her school. Statistics Austria published data in 2021 according to which 12.2 per cent of the population in Vorarlberg belong to Islam, 68.3 per cent to Christianity.
