An asylum seeker from Iran has been jailed for raping an elderly woman and sexually assaulting a child just ten months after he arrived in the United Kingdom.

Issa Brayzi-Pour, 22, an Iranian national has been jailed for 13 years by the Minshull Street Crown Court in Manchester, England. The convicted rapist will serve two-thirds of his sentence before being eligible for parole, however, given that the court determined he was a “dangerous” offender”, Brayzi-Pour was given an additional five years on license, the Manchester Evening News reports.

Last summer, just ten months after arriving in the country to seek asylum from Iran, Brayzi-Pour stalked a 70-year-old woman who was walking home from a pub in Farnworth. After refusing to engage the foreign man in conversation, the asylum seeker pushed the pensioner up against a fence just steps away from her home, and raped her before “calmly walking off up the road”.

The court was told that as a result of the rape, the elderly woman had suffered from “significant and severe” psychological issues and “life-changing problems”.

Brayzi-Pour was arrested three days later after police were able to track him down using CCTV footage, with the asylum seeker being easily identifiable due to his “distinctive” clothing, which included a “dark hooded coat and slider sandals”. DNA evidence taken from Brayzi-Pour was confirmed to have matched that found from “intimate swabs” taken from the 70-year-old victim.

The Iranian national was then determined to have sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl just 12 days earlier in the same town after luring her to an isolated location. With promises of cigarettes, Brayzi-Pour attempted to kiss the girl and asked that she perform oral sex on him and when she refused he tried to pull her into the bushes, the Greater Manchester Police said.

The child said that she has “had her freedom taken away” as a result of the attack.

Prosecutors asserted that the asylum seeker had gone “out trawling the streets at night time looking for vulnerable individuals”. Brayzi-Pour, meanwhile, claimed that the sexual acts with the child and elderly woman were consensual.

The presiding judge in the case, Recorder Andrew McLoughlin, said that Brayzi-Pour’s accounting of the events “bears no relationship whatsoever” to the evidence presented to the court.

“There is no remorse shown by you, because you believe somehow that all these matters took place with the victims’ consent, they clearly did not do so,” the judge said.

Responding to the sentencing, DC Peter Hardy of Bolton CID said: “Firstly, I want to thank the bravery of both of the victims and the strength they have shown to take this prosecution to sentencing. We are happy with today’s result and are pleased that the trauma that Brayzi-Pour put his victims through has been recognised.

“Although no amount of time behind bars can make up for what the victims have been through, I hope that it will allow them to start to rebuild their lives and move on from what must have been a living nightmare. A dangerous individual is now off the streets and cannot pose a risk to any other females.

“As a force, GMP are committed to identifying and locating sex offenders to ensure that they face the full force of the law. If you, or anyone you know has been subjected to a sexual assault, we would urge you to come forward and speak to GMP.”

Among so many anti-Israel journalists reporting on that much-maligned Jewish state for the British media, Catherine Philp of the Times of London has earned a place in the pantheon, in the company of the BBC‘s Robert Fisk, Jeremy Bowen, Barbara Plett, Orla Guerin, and Yolande Knell. Her recent dispatches about Jenin did not disappoint. For years, we’ve been documenting the egregious anti-Israel bias of The Times former Middle East correspondent Catherine Philp, However, a report she published yesterday was so biased, and so clearly coloured by her own pro-Palestinian views, that it hardly can be called “journalism”.

The putatively straight news article published on July 9 was titled “Palestinian boy killed by Israeli sniper in Jenin was unarmed, CCTV suggests”, but, as her tweet of the article shows, it seems to have been motivated by her frustration with the fact that there hasn’t been one confirmed civilian death during Israel’s two-day anti-terror operation in Jenin last week.

Let’s be clear. It is the Palestinian terror groups themselves – mainly Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Hamas – that have claimed that all 12 of those killed in the Jenin camp by the IDF were their fighters. The IDF concurs, insisting that all 12 were combatants. Catherine Philp is not only taking issue with the Israelis – she always does that – but also with the terror groups that have been perfectly willing to admit that there were no non-combatants among those killed.

While the article begins by suggesting that a Palestinian in Jenin named Abdulrahman Hasan Ahmad Hardan was unarmed when he was shot by soldiers, it then proceeds to claim that he was an uninvolved civilian, and not a terrorist as was reported.

Here are the relevant paragraphs:

Militant groups such as the relatively new Jenin Brigades, Islamic Jihad and the armed wing of Fatah have little compunction about claiming non-combatants, even unarmed women and children, as their martyrs. Militants brought banners to the house celebrating him as such; his family expressed their unhappiness at that — at not inconsiderable risk to themselves — but they were adamant: Abdulrahman was not a militant and did not belong to any armed group.

…

[His mother] wept as she described rushing to Jenin after learning that her son had been shot in the head. He died five hours later in surgery. “He was an ordinary boy, he was not a terrorist like they are saying,” his mother said.

The mother lived outside Jenin. If her son had decided suddenly to join the combatants fighting the IDF, she would likely not have known it. Abdulrahman may not have been a member of Palestinian Islamic Jihad before the IDF arrived, but he quickly attached himself to the PIJ as an eager “combatant.” That is why the IDF shot him, and why the PIJ proudly claims him as one of their own.

But here is Philp’s version that attempts to convince us that Abdulrahman was a non-combatant, despite the converging claims of the IDF and the PIJ:

When Islamic Jihad posted photographs of its claimed martyrs, Abdulrahman was the only one not pictured with a firearm.

asked if Abdulrahman had been armed, Lieutenant-Colonel Richard Hecht, the Israel Defence Force’s international spokesman, replied “yes”. When asked with what, he answered: “An automatic rifle.”

Hecht then pointed The Times to social media posts by Islamic Jihad claiming him as a fighter. It is commonplace for Palestinian militant groups to claim any male casualty as a martyr, to bolster perceptions of their strength.

As Hecht said, Abdulrahman was claimed by PIJ as one of their eight fighters killed in Jenin. (The social media posts we linked to were translated by CAMERA Arabic.)

Abdulrahman was not the only fighter with a photo showing him without a rifle. Several others, among the eight just claimed by PIJ to be their fighters, are also shown without weapons. In other words, holding a rifle for a photograph was not a sine qua non for belonging to, or fighting alongside members of, PIJ. Philp wants her audience to believe that the photo of Abdulrahman without a rifle is conclusive evidence of his not being a combatant or a member of the PIJ, but then how does she explain the others who were identified as PIJ members, and like Abdulrahman, were photographed without a weapon?

Turning to Philps’ argument that claims by proscribed terror groups that a Palestinian killed by Israeli soldiers are their members are not evidence that they were indeed affiliated with the group: We conferred with our colleagues at CAMERA Arabic, who explained that while terror organisations do tend to mourn all Palestinians killed by Israeli fire, their Arabic public announcements differ between “the martyred hero” when the deceased was not a member and “its” martyred hero” when he was, e.g. Hamas here (not members) vs here and here (members).

Specifically, concerning “martyrs” that targeted Israeli civilians both in Israel and the West Bank, CAMERA Arabic compiled a list of eight cases in the past year in which no organisation claimed the attacker:

• 20/9/22: “Martyr” Musa Sarsour from Qalqiliya, murdered 84-yo Shulamit Rachel Ovadia in Holon and  committed suicide afterwards.
• 22/9/22: “Martyr” Muhammad Abu Jum’a, attacked by-passers in the Shilat junction with a knife.
• 5/11/22: “Martyr” Mus’ab Nafal, threw stones at Israeli civilians near Ramallah.
• 11/1/23: “Martyr” Sanad Samamra, carried out a stabbing attack in the Havat Yehuda outpost near Hebron.
• 10/3/23: “Martyr” Abdel Kareem Sheikh carried out an attack with a knife and IEDs near Havat Dorot, south of Ari’el
• 24/3/23: “Martyr” Karm Salman tried to enter Kdumim with a loaded gun and attack civilians.
• 24/4/23: “Martyr” Hatem Abu Nijmeh carried out a ramming attack at the Mahane Yehuda market – note that in this webpage Fatah did not claim him, the funeral picture belongs to a previous martyr they misleadingly used in their website since.
• 26/5/23: “Martyr” Alaa’ Qaysiya, carried out a stabbing attack in the Tene Omarim settlement south of Hebron….

In other words, there were many cases of Palestinians killed by Israelis, who were not claimed by any terror group, contrary to Philp’s assertion that those groups as a rule claim all those killed by the IDF to be among their fighters in order to increase their prestige.

Catherine Philp presents no credible evidence that Abdulrahman was a non-combatant. He was claimed by both the IDF and, more importantly, by the PIJ, to have been a combatant. The fact that there is a photograph of him without a rifle means nothing; many terrorists – nine are listed above – have been similarly photographed. When she claims that the IDF has killed 35 “children” so far in 2023, she ignores that fact that more than 30 of these “children” were either identified as members of terror groups, or were involved in violent clashes with the IDF at the time they were killed. Philp is intent on blackening the IDF’s image by denying that Abdulrahman was a combatant. However, the PIJ itself proudly claims that he was a member of the terror group and was killed while involved in fighting the Israelis. In this case, I’d believe the PIJ’s claim (that is backed up by the IDF), and not the malevolent journalist who is so determined to undermine the Israeli state.

McDonald’s is a favorite target of predatory lawsuits due to its visibility. In 1994, Stella Liebeck earned $millions by spilling McDonald’s coffee on herself in an infamous milestone in jackpot justice. That’s why cups come with a warning label that coffee might be hot. Surprisingly, there is no “This End Up” label on McDonald’s cups, leaving the company vulnerable to future lawsuits.

Radical Islamic clerics have infiltrated the United Kingdom to push an anti-blasphemy agenda to quell free speech in British schools and elsewhere, threatening the national security of the country, an upcoming report has warned.

A report from the Henry Jackson Society think tank set to be published today has warned that actions taken by Islamic groups outside schools and cinemas over what they deem as insults to the Islamic faith not only threaten the tenets of free speech but also the national security of Britain.

The report, Britain’s New Blasphemy Police?, excerpts of which were provided to the Daily Telegraph, states that public uproar over perceived blasphemy against Islam represents “a serious threat to social cohesion, individual liberties and the peaceful coexistence of diverse communities within the United Kingdom.”

“The threat is perhaps not taken as seriously as Salafi-jihadist style terror, yet it is nonetheless one that has a potential to inspire intimidation, violence and even mass killings,” Henry Jackson Society research fellow Charlotte Littlewood warned in the report.

The report claimed that foreign radical Islamic clerics, particularly from Pakistan and Bangladesh, have infiltrated Britain to call for “extreme anti-blasphemy action in the UK”.

The report focussed heavily on the protests that followed a teacher showing his students a caricature of the Islamic prophet Mohammed at the Batley Grammar School in West Yorkshire in 2021. The teacher was initially suspended by the school and was subsequently forced into hiding after a local Islamic group shared his identity online. He, and his family, remain in hiding to this day for fear of violent reprisals.

This capitulation, by the school and indeed by the government in failing to protect the teacher from radical Islamists, set a “worrying precedent,” the think tank’s report stated, claiming that schools, as well as publishing houses and cinemas in Britain have been “potentially led by fear”.

“Accepting a tacit anti-blasphemy law is antithetical to our democratic values whilst also a threat to national security. Schools, cinemas and publishing houses need commitments to be made to their assured safety in the face of threats and renewed and robust guidelines on how to respond to threats of anti-blasphemy action.”

The think tank called on the Department of Education to ensure the safety of teachers and students in order to ensure censorship-free lessons and argued that the government should ban radical imams from entering the country in the first place.

Writing a forward to the report, Conservative MP Tim Loughton said: “It is time to afford extreme anti-blasphemy action the same attention we afford the likes of Al-Qaeda and ISIS. If the attacks on the Charlie Hebdo offices in France are anything to go by, this ideological extremism has no lesser propensity for violence.”

A Department for Education spokesperson said: “We have been clear that it is never acceptable to threaten or intimidate teachers and we encourage dialogue between parents and schools when issues emerge.

“Schools are free to include a full range of issues, ideas and materials in their curriculum, including where they are challenging or controversial subject to their obligations to ensure political balance. However, they must balance this with the need to promote respect and tolerance between people of different faiths and beliefs, including in deciding which materials to use in the classroom.”

When your whole life is about freeloading, and from only the best, what’s the problem with bumming a ride on Air Force One?

Which is what Prince Harry and his disastrous wife were caught trying to do.

Seriously.

Here is the story from the New York Post:

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tried to hitch a ride back to America on Air Force One after the Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral but were quickly rebuffed.

Sources told the Daily Mail Wednesday that it was an immediate no from the White House, adding that the request was a “non-starter.”

“It would have caused such a commotion. It would have strained relations with the Palace and the new King,” another source added, referring to King Charles III.

Well, yeah. And you’d think that they, above anyone else, would know that.

But of course, why would they care even if they did think this through?

They’re all about themselves, and their need to see and be seen. Their whole lives are devoted to the futile pursuit of prestige for all their little friends to marvel at.

If Harry was used to riding around on fancy royal transport when he actually served as a working royal, what’s not to like about corraling in an American presidential jet or two to make the rest of the royals back home jealous?

And if Meghan has been happily serving as a wokester Hollywood denizen in support of Democrats, why wouldn’t Joe Biden gladly give her a hitch on Air Force One, probably for free, so she wouldn’t have to ride home with the hoi polloi on a commercial jet?

The chutzpah of these people is amazing. Air Force One trips are planned with meticulous precision by teams which plan and prepare for every detail. I’ve ridden on the secretary of state’s jet, which is similar to it in how it operates, and know that they are both expensive and extremely choreographed operations, with every detail planned ahead.

They really thought the presidential jet of the United States was like some jet-set tycoon’s private jet at their whim and disposal, with its state function, representing the people of the United States, just a formality.

Where that desire came from, and why they thought even senile Joe’s administration would O.K. it on the fly is weird stuff. Didn’t they make proper travel arrangements of their own? Was Meghan’s stated fantasy to be president of the U.S. behind this idiocy? Did the pair of them want to transport some recreational drugs without scrutiny from Customs now that the word is out about cocaine in the White House?

Why did they think they could bum a ride on Air Force One and expect a ‘sure, hop onboard’ sort of a response, because they are just so, so, so glamorous? 

They must see the continuous rule-breaking and corruption of that administration as their ‘in’ for commandeering the U.S. presidential jet for their own purposes.

Now they’ve got egg all over their faces, especially as news of this caper has leaked out.

Normal people don’t ask for those sorts of things. And royals definitely don’t.

The royals back in England are undoubtedly grossing out at these would-be freeloaders as insufferably “not our kind, dear,” while the rest of us are just rolling our eyes in disgust.

Sectarian leaflets distributed by Labour councillors in Walsall last month were created by an extremist Islamic activist, GB News can reveal.

Councillors Aftab Nawaz and Khizar Hussain, the Labour group’s leader and deputy leader respectively, are now under investigation after they were filmed engaging in sectarian chanting and leafleting at a group of persecuted minority Muslims in the West Midlands town.

They denied a link with their demonstration and any organisation that promotes violence or hatred.

The leaflets described the Ahmadis as “liars” and apostates. The leaflets also praised the “noble companions” who “fought against them”, which an expert said glorified the killings of those who have claimed to be prophets, which is central to the Ahmadiyya theology.

It can now be revealed that the author of the leaflet has previously been sanctioned by Ofcom for anti-Ahmadi hatred.

Muhammad Din Sialvi, who is named on the front cover of the leaflet distributed at the event, described Ahmadi Muslims as “filth” in a programme he presented on Takbeer TV in 2012.

Sialvi presented two separate programmes broadcast in June and July 2012 where callers and speakers made “derogatory and extreme” statements about the Ahmadi Muslims.

During the first Urdu-language broadcast, Sialvi said “thank you” to a caller who said: “My message to people is that these people [Ahmadis] deceive others and they can never be your sincere friends; stay away and save your faith.”

In the second broadcast, filmed in Luton, Sialvi said: “Baba Sahib asked me to read the [Ahmadi] books; I said, ‘Do not read them; never read them, stay away from them as far as you can…These books are replete with filth.’”

Sialvi then used the term ‘Qadiani’, a pejorative religious slur against Ahmadis: “The word ‘Qadiani’ is so detestable that you should never even use the word ‘ex-Qadiani’ for the person who has abandoned it. It will hurt that person…We should never use such a detestable word for one who has become a Muslim.”

In correspondence with this broadcaster, councillors Nawaz and Hussain used the term “Khadiyanni” to refer to the Ahmadi Muslims, an alternative spelling for the denigratory slur term.

In the first episode that OfCom investigated, it found that Sialvi failed to challenge a guest when he described the Ahmadis as “snakes” with “monstrous” intentions and beliefs that require a “surgeon who dissects without giving anaesthesia.”

It concluded that the programme “subjected members of the Ahmadi community and their beliefs to abusive treatment.”

Sialvi’s abusive anti-Ahmadi rhetoric continued in the second broadcast, where he recited a hateful poem about the need to “remove the filth” of the Ahmadis, calling on people to “crush the enemies of the nation.”

The poem also urged people to “spill our blood in love of Muhammad, sacrifice our children in love of Muhammad.”

OfCom found both programmes to be in breach of two sections of its code, specifically blaming “the presenter Mr Sialvi himself, rather than members of the audience,” for being responsible for the problematic statements.

Takbeer TV was advertised on the leaflets distributed at the event attended by Councillors Nawaz and Hussain, with Cllr. Hussain being photographed brandishing the leaflets while chanting at a group of Ahmadi Muslims.

GB News can also reveal that Sialvi signed an open letter published last year condemning the removal of an Imam from the government’s Anti Muslim Hatred Working Group after they pushed for the banning of a film that was critical of the Prophet Mohammed’s daughter.

Qari Aslam lost his government role as an Islamophobia consultant after he agitated to “limit free expression” and undermined democratic values.

Disgraced presenter Sialvi came to his defence by signing a letter that said Aslam’s removal “represents a step backwards in our collective efforts to enhance community cohesion.”

Wasiq Wasiq, a research fellow at the Henry Jackson Society, said: “Ahmadi Muslims have been persecuted in Pakistan since the country’s inception. It seems this persecution has breached our borders and political arena, where elected officials appear to be both sympathetic and actively supporting hatred against them.”

He added: “These developments are extremely troubling and the Labour Party must immediately suspend the councillors and carry out an investigation into the incident.

“A recent report from the Henry Jackson Society has warned that anti-blasphemy laws by radical Islamists are threatening social cohesion. The same problems now appear to be true within mainstream local politics in Walsall.”

A Labour source confirmed: “A complaint has been made and there is an on-going investigation.”

Huge criticism of Berlin’s new queer commissioner!

Alfonso Pantisano (48, Social Democratic Party) is responsible for the rights of homosexuals, trans people and other people of the queer community in the Berlin state government.

But: In an interview Pantisano played down homophobia in the Arab and Muslim communities. Now even Berlin’s mayor Kai Wegner (50, CDU) intervenes and warns against relativising homophobia.

“We must not make it too easy for ourselves and only point at the others. Homosexuality is not only considered a sin in Islam, but at least as much in the Catholic Church.” There are “just as many Italians or Germans who attack queer people.”

Asked if there was “no particular problem with homophobia” among Arabs and Muslims, Pantisano rebuffed: “The problem is particularly big everywhere.”

► The fact is: Again and again homosexuals as well as trans people are victims of brutal attacks – and the perpetrators often have an Arab or Muslim background.

The deputy head of the German Federal Police Union, Manuel Ostermann (32), told the newspaper BILD: “In Germany, especially in Berlin, violent acts against homosexuals have been reported more and more frequently for years, whose perpetrators have an Arab and/or radical Muslim background.”

▶︎ Like the Chechen Nuradi A. (20), who mobbed two lesbian women on Christopher Street Day in Münster and then beat the trans man Malte C. to death.

▶︎ In September, youths attacked a trans woman in Bremen, hitting her so hard in the face that she had to be taken to hospital. A kiosk saleswoman spoke of a “group of ten to 15 youths, about 14 years old, speaking Kurdish and Arabic”.

▶︎ In 2020, an Islamist attacked a homosexual couple with two knives in Dresden. Thomas L. was fatally wounded, his husband Oliver L. seriously injured. The perpetrator, a Syrian, was sentenced to life in prison.

The ARD TV programme “Report Mainz” published a report as recently as May stating: “New survey shows: Homosexuality and transsexuality are strongly rejected, especially by Muslims.”

According to the poll, 65 per cent of Muslims surveyed agreed with the statement that they find it “disgusting” when homosexuals kiss in public (43 per cent among all respondents). The Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution also confirmed to the ARD TV programme that Islamist groups are increasingly openly agitating against homosexuals and transsexuals.

Social Democratic Party (SPD) member Pantisano, who is responsible for the protection of these people in the Berlin state government, apparently does not want to learn anything about this.

► Interior politician Stefan Heck (40, Christian Democratic Union, CDU) is appalled! “In the Muslim communities, aggressive homophobia is unfortunately still the order of the day. Those who play this down are ignoring the problem. Integration also means tolerance for different lifestyles.”

Police unionist Manuel Ostermann explains: “It is not uncommon that intolerance comes precisely from this small but radical community. Where Sharia law is applied, where religion takes precedence over our constitution, that’s exactly where homophobia is very widespread.”

Berlin’s State Secretary for Youth, Falko Liecke (50, CDU), made it clear to BILD: “Of course we also have a problem with homophobic attacks in the Muslim community.” Liecke warns: “To play this down is negligent and does not reflect the realities.”

Explosive: When asked about Pantisano’s statements, Berlin’s mayor Kai Wegner told BILD: “Homophobia – no matter from which direction – must not be relativised in any form. Because anyone who relativises homophobia relativises our freedom. Berlin must be safe for all people, no matter how and whom you love.”

It is “part of the successful fight against homophobia” to ” face the realities”, Wegner said and made it clear: “In this sense, the Senate takes a clear stance for a cosmopolitan and tolerant Berlin.”

Lars Lindemann (52), secretary general of the Berlin Liberal Democratic Party (FDP), complains in BILD: “There must not be a finger’s breadth of room for homophobia in our society – no matter what cultural background people come from. If that is not the highest standard for Pantisano, then he is the wrong person in the position of queer commissioner.”

Islam expert Susanne Schröter (65) also considers in BILD that the queer commissioner is making it “too easy”. “Of course, homophobia does not only exist among Muslims, but the extent of violence is clearly different. The experiences of gays and lesbians in hotspot areas should be taken seriously and not relativised with one’s own childhood memories,” says the ethnologist.
