The threat from so-called ‘transgender’ people extends beyond children

By Andrea Widburg

So-called “transgenderism” was once a weird sexual-fetish activity that existed at the periphery of American society. It’s now moved front and center, something that is inordinately dangerous. Americans are beginning to understand the danger to our children from a movement that is compulsively and pathologically drawn to children, both for sexual excitement and recruitment, but people need to recognize that the so-called “transgender” crowd is also encouraging itself to be violently dangerous to all Americans.

Mark Tapson, one of the most insightful writers about cultural issues, has written a powerful essay about the nexus between gender ideology, violence, and, inevitably, full-blown terrorism. The starting point, of course, is the shooting a month ago in Nashville, when Audrey Elizabeth Hale, a mentally-ill biological female who “identifies” as a man, went to an elementary school and slaughtered six people, three of whom were nine-year-old children. We’re still waiting to hear her manifesto. We all know that, if she’d been a Trump supporter, her manifesto would instantly have been revealed.

He notes that Hale’s shooting is part of an escalating trend that sees so-called “transgender” people engaged in violent rhetoric and committing violent acts either (a) because of the “horror” of being “misgendered,” or (b) because they’re incapable of dealing with the rising number of laws making it illegal for medical practitioners to give children toxic drugs and mutilating surgery in pursuit of the fiction that they can be “transformed” into the opposite sex. These so-called “gender-affirming” treatments, of course, are nothing more than for-profit plastic surgery run amok to criminally dangerous extremes.

Image: Will (aka “Lia”) Thomas. Rumble screen grab.

Tapson has myriad examples of the rising rhetoric from the “transgender” crowd, along with chapter and verse of the mass murders they’re committing (and that their supporters applaud or justify). The violence isn’t surprising: You have the aggression of men, the emotionalism of women, mental illness, and powerful drugs (antidepressants, Ritalin-style stimulants, and massive hormones) all coming together in rage.

While the medical community benefits commercially, the Democrats and other leftists are making political hay from the situation. Says Tapson:

Something called the Trans Resistance Network in Massachusetts, for example, released a statement on the Covenant school shooting stating that life for “transgender people is very difficult” due to “anti-trans legislation” and “right wing personalities.” The group also painted a sympathetic picture of shooter Hale as a “complex tragedy” who felt she “had no other effective way to be seen than to lash out by taking the life of others.”

No other way to be seen than to kill nine-year-olds? There is no one more visible in America today than a trans activist. They are celebrated in the culture, lauded as trailblazing heroes, and given every platform from the daytime gabfest The View to the White House itself. It is a grotesque lie and sick rationalization to claim that Audrey Hale had no other way to be “seen” than to shoot innocents dead – and furthermore, to claim that the trans community is marginalized and endangered.

In a recent episode of All Things Considered on the leftwing propaganda outlet National Public Radio, NPR correspondents Adrian Florido and Melissa Block fretted that the transgender community “fears a further escalation of hate” after it was revealed that the Nashville school shooter was trans, and their fear “has been amplified” due to “a surge of anti-trans rhetoric.” (Has NPR ever done a story on the anti-white, anti-Christian rhetoric pumped into our culture daily? Just curious.)

NBC ran a story with the headline, “Fear pervades Tennessee’s trans community amid focus on Nashville shooter’s gender identity: ‘We were already fearing for our lives. Now, it’s even worse.’” As Federalist editor Mollie Hemingway put it on Twitter, “Gee, you’d think heavily armed Christian children were hunting down trans activists instead of the other way around.”

We should be grateful, I guess, that Dylan Mulvaney, the man before whom the White House, Wall Street, Madison Avenue, and the media bow, is only effectively demanding arrests, not death, for those who dare “misgender” him:

In case you’re wondering, this is what “misgendering” does to those whom “transgenderism” has broken:

Some people are pushing back (e.g., Matt Walsh and J.K. Rowling), but the pushback is nowhere near as strong as is needed to pull the country back from a dangerous abyss. Republicans aren’t helping, with their wishy-washy support for adults. To understand the war we’re in and the fact that we must take sides, I recommend two Matt Walsh segments. This one addresses Jazz Jennings:

And this one, beginning at 37:30, sees Walsh address what Will (aka “Lia”) Thomas had to say regarding men in women’s sports (beginning at 37:10). Incidentally, the person to whom Thomas is speaking isn’t a man, it’s a woman who thinks she’s a man:

UPDATE: I forgot to add that Mark has a Substack site that I highly recommend. Also, I did some light editing for clarity.

France: “Allahu Akbar” shouting mosque visitor tries to stab two passers-by

Violent knife attack in the street in Stains: A 46-year-old man tried to stab a passer-by in the neck who had just refused him a cigarette. He then allegedly tried to assault a woman before going to a mosque and taking refuge in his house. The BAC policemen arrested him.

A man armed with three knives attacked a 31-year-old passer-by in Stains (Seine-Saint-Denis) on Thursday evening, Actu17 has learned. The attacker then went inside a nearby mosque where he was disarmed. The police officers of the Brigade anticriminalité (BAC) arrested him in his nearby house.

The victim was at a bus stop near La Courneuve park at around 10.30 pm when an unknown person asked him for a cigarette. The latter became angry due to her refusal. He then displayed a butcher’s knife and a kitchen knife about 30 cm long before attempting to stab the victim in the neck. The attacker shouted “Allah akbar” and threatened to kill him, according to a source familiar with the investigation.

The 30-year-old was able to avoid the blows, but was still slightly injured in the neck. The attacker fled and tried to attack a woman, but she managed to escape. (…) Actu 17

German envoy slams country’s magazine Der Spiegel which spoofed India’s population overtaking China

German Ambassador to India Philipp Ackermann. ANI

Germany’s ambassador to India, Philipp Ackermann, on Thursday criticised the German publication Der Spiegel, for a cartoon the magazine had published recently, in which it had a sarcastic take on India’s population overtaking that of Asian giant China.

“In my personal opinion, the cartoon was neither funny nor appropriate. I would like to invite this cartoonist to come on a metro ride with me in Delhi. I think many metros in Germany are not as good as the Delhi Metro and the same goes for the train system. He should inquire a little more about India and know how state-of-the-art their railway system is,” Ackermann was quoted as saying by news agencies.

Soon after the announcement that India’s population had overtaken China’s, the now viral cartoon attempted to depict a comparison of “development levels” between the two countries.

The spoof showed an overloaded Indian train with swarms of passengers both inside and on top of it overtaking a “sophisticated” Chinese bullet train with two drivers inside. The drivers of the Chinese bullet train were astonished by the sight of the crammed Indian train, which annoyed some people who pointed out that the West’s portrayal of India is not accurate.

Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar also joined people in condemning the German publication ‘Der Spiegel’ for its blatantly racist overtones in depicting India as the world’s most populated country, followed by China.

“Notwithstanding your attempt at mocking India…,” the minister stated, sharing the caricature that has been extensively circulated on social media for a few days.

“Dear Cartoonist at @derspiegel…Notwithstanding your attempt at mocking India…it’s not smart to bet against India under PM @narendramodi ji….In a few years India’s economy will be bigger than Germany’s,” the minister tweeted in a scathing retort.

India: Muslim doctor shoots puppy, poisoned birds and dogs by mixing acid in water

An Unani doctor was arrested in Tamil Nadu after he shot at a stray pup using an air gun. Neighbours alleged that he often poisons birds and kills stray dogs by mixing acid in water. He was booked under the Animal Cruelty Act and the Arms Act and arrested after a local filed a complaint against him.

Prabhu Palaniappan, a resident of Palakkarai in Trichy, was feeding a stray pup in the neighborhood on the night of April 22. Even as he was feeding biscuits to the pup, Syed Hasan Sahib, a resident of Alam Street in Khaja pettai shot the puppy with an air gun all of a sudden. He was reportedly watching the scene from his house and brought his gun out to shoot the puppy out of the blue. Shocked, Palaniappan filed a complaint with the police the next day and Syed was arrested.

Syed Hasan Sahib is an Unani doctor and runs a clinic in the same neighborhood. He was booked under sections 429 IPC 11 (1) (a) of Animal Cruelty Act and 25 (1) (b) of the Arms Act. Media reports say that Syed has the habit of shooting at birds and stray dogs claiming that they make too much noise. Neighbours told Palaniappan that he would poison dogs by mixing acid in water and that despite many warnings Syed continued his inhumane act.

Syed told police that he killed stray dogs because they terrorised children. The stray dog menace is indeed an important issue that needs to be addressed quickly. But this incident raises other questions like why he would kill birds and choose a gruesome method like mixing acid to get rid of them.

Last year a video of a Muslim man walking with an air gun and saying that he would shoot stray dogs with it went viral on social media. When police caught him he said that he did it to protect his kids from stray dogs on their way to the madrasa. He claimed that the air gun he carried could not kill a dog.

On noticing the cruelty of Syed one cannot help but remember the Kerala incident in which few Muslim men fed a coconut laden with explosives to a pregnant elephant as a result of which she died.

Violence against minorities, threats to freedom of religion, more mob lynching in Pakistan

Representative Image (ANI)

The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) released its annual report ‘State of Human Rights in 2022’ last week to reveal that the political and economic unrest in the previous year have had a significant influence on the human rights situation in the country.

The research observed that the current and previous governments both disregarded the authority of Parliament and that disputes between the legislative, executive, and judicial branches undermined institutional credibility.

The study said that sedition laws from the colonial era were being weaponized to suppress dissent and that political victimization persisted throughout the year. Numerous journalists and opposition politicians were detained, and there were subsequent allegations of abuse in detention, HRCP claimed. Ironically, this happened in the same year that the Parliament approved a law making the use of torture illegal.

Law enforcement officers and demonstrators clashed during the unrest that followed the successful vote of no confidence against the former prime minister Imran Khan, and the right to freedom of assembly was not only infringed but also abused.

The HRCP study stated that despite citizens’ warnings that such events were impending, especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the state continued to struggle in combating militancy. As per the report, the year saw an alarming revival of terror attacks, the most in five years, with 533 lives lost.

In addition, HRCP saw an increase in enforced disappearances, notably in Balochistan, where 2,210 recorded instances remain unsolved despite the National Assembly passing a law making the practise illegal.

The research also claimed that over 33 million people were adversely affected by floods brought on by climate change, which devastated a portion of the nation. This lacklustre response has underscored the need for empowered, well-resourced local governments in every province and territory, the HRCP said in its report.

It said that, despite a decline in the number of police reports involving blasphemy accusations, the prevalence of mob lynchings seemed to have increased. Escalating threats to freedom of religion or belief remain a serious worry, it said.

The HRCP report added that the violence against women continued unabated, with at least 4,226 instances of rape and gang rape compounded by an appallingly low conviction rate for perpetrators. The Ahmadiyya community came under particular threat, with several places of worship and over 90 graves desecrated, mostly in Punjab.

This edition of the report’s subject, the prevalence of violence and discrimination against transgender people, was further exacerbated by conservative opposition to the hard-won Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act 2018.

The study points out that the rights of workers and peasants were gravely disregarded in a year that saw the nation’s economic position start to collapse. The research said that even though the minimum wage was raised, the state has failed to accept that it is still below the standard for a livable income.

The HRCP also pointed out that even though 1,200 bonded labourers in Sindh were released, the district vigilance committees established in 2022 continued to be mainly useless, and 90 miners continued to die in the country’s mines each year. HRCP has demanded immediate action by the state on these issues if it is to move towards a pro-people approach to politics, law and governance.

Green party mayor: High spending on migrants in Germany threatens to ‘explode’ society

As Germany’s population continues to set new record highs and migrants are set to cost taxpayers over €36 billion in 2023, there are those warning that severe social consequences could ensue.

Tübingen Mayor Boris Palmer, of the Green party, is one of those voices, and in many ways, due to his popularity and party affiliation, his voice carries more weight than others.

Palmer told Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung this week that “if we use all of society’s resources for the new arrivals, but there is nothing left for the local people, then this society will explode.”

He continued by saying that due to the mass influx of migrants, Germany’s social system will eventually be exhausted.

The costs of immigration to the taxpayer are certainly enormous, with tens of billions being spent per year to provide housing, food, and integration services to Germany’s burgeoning foreign-born population. New stories, such as this week’s report that Hamburg is spending €14 million on hotel rooms alone every month to house migrants, have become routine in the country. That number is merely a drop in the pond. Data from the Finance Ministry released earlier this month indicated that Germany is set to spend €26.65 billion on migrants alone this year. However, this figure does not even present the full picture, as that is only money spent at the federal level. States and local municipalities are also predicted to spend over €10 billion, bringing the total to at least €36 billion in 2023 alone.

However, the issue of mass immigration affects everything and comes with many costs that are not entirely easy to calculate, from overcrowded and chaotic schools to soaring housing prices.

Palmer said that given the high number of asylum seekers arriving in Germany every year, it is important to ask what that means for the country. He points to a mix of newcomers who have a poor integration record and high demands on Germany’s social welfare system.

“Then, we’ll have few new workers and a lot of welfare recipients,” Palmer warned.

Palmer said he sees “no solution” for the crisis. The Green party mayor has long been a critic of Germany’s migration policy, but proposals like mass deportations and tightening of citizenship laws would potentially put a dent in his image. For now, he seems content to snipe at the migration crisis from afar, offering vague warnings with no concrete proposals.

Other parties, such as the Alternative for Germany (AfD) have presented a range of policies to reduce immigration flows, including closing Germany’s borders, but the party, while popular, has little political power. AfD’s leader, Alice Weidel, said that closing the border was paramount to protect Germany’s social system., saying she sees an “undeniable alarm signal for the welfare state.” Responding to a proposal from the left-wing government that all residents in Germany should have access to a basic income, even Germany’s migrant population, Weidel said it will only fuel more newcomers, and that there are already valid concerns over immigrants relying on the welfare state instead of entering the labor market.

At the end of February, the Green party mayor of Tübingen, Palmer, referred to Germany’s “failed” migration policy after news broke of tenants in the city of Lörrach being forced to move out of their homes to make room for migrants, a trend that has been seen in other cities such as Berlin. Palmer used the case to showcase an example of how German citizens may quickly turn against migrants.

“That may help with the accommodation of the refugees, but it endangers social peace. We must not do that,” Palmer wrote to his Lörrach Mayor Jörg Lutz.

So far, 2023 shows little sign that the migrant crisis is abating. In fact, 80,000 asylum applications were received in Germany in the first quarter of the year, according to the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees, which amounts to an 80 percent increase compared to last year.

The left-wing coalition currently ruling Germany is looking to pass sweeping immigration reform rules that would lead to nearly 2 million migrants becoming naturalized German citizens, relax citizenship tests, and allow citizenship to be obtained after five years of residing in Germany instead of the current seven.

YouTube Silencing Catholic Voices – Latest victim: John-Henry Westen

While censorship of political and religious conservative views on YouTube is nothing new, it is now definitely escalating with a particular intensity.

Some background: During the height of the plandemic, references to YouTube’s obedience to the ’Cancel Culture’ occurred in the least likely videos, from psychics ruminating about future events while tap dancing around references to ‘covid’ (“Cross your fingers subscribers, I should not have mentioned the ‘c’ word!”), to electric car videos where the creator expresses fear that the video will be taken down because they inadvertently mentioned “the plague.”

In 2020, YouTube was having a ball canceling channels over charges of “misinformation,” as if the latter was an objective reality rather than the stillborn child of an agenda-ridden (Left) narrative.

That agenda was best summed up by Edward Furton, an ethicist at the National Catholic Bioethics Center, when he told the Catholic News Agency that YouTube is not staffed by scientists, “but by engineers and technicians who understand little to nothing about scientific matters.”

Furton went on to say that YouTube “favors a liberal ideology that supports abortion not only here at home but throughout the world,” and that “such a view revokes their claim to moral superiority over others.”

YouTube’s plandemic censorship scourge occurred during the reign of Susan Wojcicki, CEO of the company since 2014 and whose retirement earlier this year in February led to the appointment of Neal Mohan, who is of Indian descent and YouTube’s former Chief Products Manager.

Wojcicki, who studied at Stanford and later at Harvard, became an “urban legend” of sorts because she once housed the founders of Google in her garage when they were just starting out.

A progressive Democrat since her time as a garage landlord, during her many years employed by big tech, Wojcicki earned over $765 million and gave some of that money away to progressive causes.

In 2016, she contributed $50,000 to the Hilary Clinton Victory Fund. That same year saw a $365 contribution to the Democratic State Committee (Delaware), as well as a $2700 gift to Kamala Harris for Senate. In 2015, she pledged $2700 to Friends of Schumer-Democrat, a funding name that sounds vaguely like an oil spill on the Potomac.

This is not a lot of money when your net worth is as high as Wojcicki’s, but it was certainly wasted money, especially in the case of Hilary Clinton, where there was no victory but a defeat that in ‘Hilary-land’ is still an active bitter herb.

As for Neal Mohan — who by cosmetic standards is not as glamorous looking as (the blonde) Wojciciki — Fortune describes him as “possessed with process and framework,” which is somehow a more fitting description for a piece of Ikea furniture.

Wojicicki, who even liberals say was the worst thing ever to have happened to the platform, waxed poetic about Mohan when he assumed the role of CEO in February.

“He has a wonderful sense for our product, our business, our creator and user communities, and our employees,” Wojcicki wrote in her 8-paragraph farewell address.

In response, Mohan Tweeted:

“It’s been amazing to work with you over the years. You’ve built YouTube into an extraordinary home for creators and viewers. I’m excited to continue this awesome and important mission. Looking forward to what lies ahead…”

Mohan, of course, is a company man who is expected to follow Wojicicki’s censorship trajectory.

Mohan was the one responsible for eliminating YouTube’s ‘dislike’ video button, claiming that its existence encouraged “bully attacks on small creators,” although this does not explain the times You Tube erased high volume marked dislikes for Hillary Clinton and Church Schumer speeches in the name of “saving face,” sometimes known as erasing evidence that Clinton and Schumer are not that well-liked.

There are a million censorship stories in YouTube City, so many in fact that in 2021 U.S. Senator Mario Rubio sent a letter to Wojicicki raising concerns about the platform’s censorship of religious and politically conservative viewpoints.

“I write to you regarding a concerning series of actions by YouTube to censor or otherwise restrict the speech of its users, particularly ones of religiously or politically conservative backgrounds,” Rubio wrote. “A combination of high-profile moderating actions have recently made headlines and raised questions over a pattern of apparent political and religious bias on YouTube’s part.”

Those conservative viewpoints included a 2020 Heritage Foundation video on gender dysphoria, and a speech by former President Trump that was removed because of “misinformation.”

In February 2021, YouTube (under Wojicicki) banned the conservative Catholic LifeSiteNews, founded by John-Henry Westen in 1997, for alleged misinformation about Covid-19.

LifeSiteNews was founded as a Catholic conservative anti-abortion advocacy website by the Canadian Campaign Life Coalition. It has since expanded its editorial periscope to include a vast array of cultural and religious issues, from the suppression of the Traditional Latin Mass, to severe criticisms of (globalist) Pope Francis.

John-Henry Westen’s LifeSite interviews are distinctive because of their depth and thoughtfulanalysis – including shows like ‘The Prophet Priest: The Truth of Father Malachi Martin Revealed’ and ‘Queen Elizabeth’s Chaplain Became Catholic?’

Devoid of advertising gimmicks, LifeSite and Westen’s videos in particular attract over 300,000 subscribers with an average of 50,000 views on its main show.

The channel’s high number of subscribers speaks for itself, despite liberal Catholic opposition like Commonweal Magazine which lambasted LifeSite in 2021 with charges that it “feigns journalistic accuracy but misleads through omission.”

In 2021, even flamboyantly liberal publications like the National Catholic Reporter protested YouTube’s blocking of a theologian’s talk on the Christian view of sex as a “content violation.”

The ban was enough to inspire San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore J. Cordileone and Focus on the Family President, Jim Daly, to write in a Wall Street Journal op-ed that,

“Today’s sexual politics function as a new kind of fundamentalism, one that presents a deep problem to a diverse and democratic society…. Social media enables the new fundamentalism, enforced by the mysterious rules of big tech’s quasi-monopoly…”

YouTube’s infamous ‘three strikes within a 90-day period and you’re out” rule caused Catholic commentator, Patrick Coffin to be sidelined because of spreading covid “misinformation.”

“The left doesn’t want to debate, they want to delete,” Coffin said of his banishment.

On April 11, 2023, it finally happened: LifeSite News reported that YouTube, under the Mohan “process and formation” regime, had permanently deleted the Westen Channel because Westen spoke openly about “the evils of abortion, depopulation, actual case studies of nefarious vaccines, and transgendersim.”

While Westen’s work can now be heard on audacity.com in a strictly audio format, other Catholic commentators like Taylor Marshall, Timothy Gordon and Kennedy Hall are like sitting ducks or bowling pins waiting for You Tube to strike.

It’s not a question of when YouTube will strike, but when.

The words of a crusty old Democrat come to mind:

“Once a government [the YouTube empire] is committed to the principle of silencing the voice of opposition, it has only one way to go, and that is down the path of increasingly repressive measures….”
