The cases of Ralph Yarl and Kaylin Gillis are all over the news now.
Both Ralph and Kaylin were shot by elderly homeowners who were overreacting to what they may have thought were trespassers.
Both cases are in the news. But they’re getting a very different treatment. One guess as to why.

That’s true, insofar as Ralph’s skin color was the only reason his case is being blown up and treated as a racist attack despite the lack of a single shred of supporting evidence.
While Ralph was only wounded, Kaylin is dead. But it’s okay. As a white woman in the BLM era, her life officially matters less.
Had Kaylin been black, she’d no doubt be getting the Black Lives Matter treatment. Since she was unfortunate enough to be born without black nationalist skin privilege, it’s just being covered as a tragedy.
But what’s the difference between the two cases?
Ralph’s shooter was in his eighties, Kaylin’s in his sixties. Kaylin was part of a larger group that was lost and the property was more isolated. But basically the cases are fairly similar.
Kaylin’s case is more damning because she was actually killed and the shooter, who was younger, left his house.
Ralph’s case is weaker because the shooter is much older and was in his house.
The only reason to privilege Ralph’s case is that manufacturing racism is the tainted oxygen that sustains leftist power and mythology.
The differing treatment of Ralph’s case and Kaylin’s case shows what a separate and unequal system looks like.
And that’s what we have.
“Doug and I are praying for Ralph Yarl and his family as he fights for his life,” Kamala Harris tweeted. “Let’s be clear: No child should ever live in fear of being shot for ringing the wrong doorbell. Every child deserves to be safe. That’s the America we are fighting for.”
Every child. As long as the child isn’t white.
Halle Berry, Kerry Washington and other millionaire celebrities soon joined the lynch mob. And segregationist pal Joe Biden, who has yet to see a racism claim he couldn’t jump on, has pounced on this one.
President Joe Biden spoke with Ralph Yarl and his family on Monday amid a national outcry over the shooting of the 16-year-old Black high school student, a White House official confirmed.
Yarl’s attorneys, Ben Crump and Lee Merritt, said Biden offered prayers for Yarl’s health and justice. Yarl left the hospital on Monday and is recovering at home, after suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
President Joe Biden has invited Ralph Yarl to the White House when he recovers.
No calls to Kaylin’s family. BLM means her life did not matter.
The boyfriend of a New York woman who was killed Saturday after the couple pulled into the wrong driveway while searching for a party recalled her final moments Tuesday, saying in an interview that his life was shattered.
Walsh said the four friends were traveling with another vehicle that also pulled into the wrong driveway. The group realized they were at the wrong home and were leaving.
We thought we were at the right address,” Walsh said. “We didn’t have any cell service to figure it out. As soon as we figured it out that we were at the wrong location, we started to leave, and that’s when everything happened.”
Walsh said what occurred next was a blur.
“My friend said, ‘They’re shooting — go!’ I tried to step on the gas as fast as I could, and that’s when the fatal shot came through,” Walsh said.
Walsh said he met Gillis, an animal lover and aspiring marine biologist who graduated from Schuylerville High School in 2021, when he was a sophomore in high school.
The couple often spoke about being the “2%,” he said, citing an apparent statistic that indicated only 2% of high school sweethearts get married.
They had been a couple for more than four years.
“I had high hopes, and I had plans,” Walsh said. “I didn’t want to be with anybody else, and I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her.”
He said of Gillis: “I want the world to know how good of a person she really was and how much she impacted everybody who had the fortunate opportunity to be in her life.”
Walsh said he’ll miss “her smile,” “her eyes” and “how happy she was able to make me.”
He added, “My world was taken from me Saturday.”

The Guardian has been scrutinized frequently over its uneven and, at times, outright partisan reportage on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
In the last month alone, HonestReporting has called out and complained about numerous pieces published by the left-wing British newspaper, including an “investigation” that simultaneously sought to downplay Palestinian terrorism and conflated the deaths of terrorists with that of their victims, and a story comprising mostly agency copy that had been carefully edited to twist the facts.
Our latest analysis of The Guardian’s Israel-related output has uncovered another disturbing finding: the outlet has worked with a Palestinian journalist with a history of praising terrorists who were behind several horrific terror attacks that killed dozens of innocent Israeli civilians.
Gaza City-based Aseel Mousa was bylined alongside The Guardian’s Jerusalem correspondent Bethan McKernan on an April 3 piece, “‘I am proud of my work’: the women pushing boundaries in Gaza,” which tells the story of women seeking employment opportunities in the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip, which is farcically labeled a “highly conservative Palestinian territory” — an interesting way of describing a place where LGBT+ individuals are jailed and where marital rape is legal.
Mousa, whose work has been featured in the Palestine Chronicle and Electronic Intifada, has posted numerous messages of support for terrorists on her personal social media accounts, such as one in which she described the Gilboa prison escapees as “brave heroes,” and another which said that Arabs should be “liberate[d]” from “Jews.”
The Gilboa prisoners, who escaped the maximum-security Israeli penitentiary in September 2021, included five members of the Iranian-backed terror group Islamic Jihad,and a former commander in the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades.
One of the five Islamic Jihad members, Eham Kamamji, was imprisoned for his role in the kidnapping and murder of an 18-year-old Israeli, while Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades’ member Zakaria Zubeidi was jailed for overseeing terror attacks against Israelis during the Second Intifada, including a suicide bombing that killed an Israeli woman, as well as multiple counts of attempting to intentionally cause death, preparing explosives, membership in a terrorist group, and the selling of weapons.
Mousa’s inclusion in The Guardian is somewhat unsurprising given the newspaper’s own unfortunate past of turning a blind eye to antisemitism and anti-Israel bias among staff members. But at what point do we acknowledge the publication has lost any remaining shred of credibility?
For the United States to use the 1956 symbol of the Hungarian uprising as a poster propaganda campaign for its proxy war against Russia is as insulting to us as if we Hungarians were to depict their national symbol, the American eagle, in underpants with a sickle and hammer in its claws.
America is the grand master of lying propaganda and false promises, the grand master of disrespect for other nations. It has a rich history of this. Even during World War I, every possible means was used at a government level to influence the population. During this period, an intensive propaganda campaign was waged to reshape public opinion in the country to justify going to war and emphasize the sense of mission. Nothing new under the sun, and today is no different.
As early as the autumn of 2022, Croatian President Zoran Milanovic openly declared that there was a proxy warbetween America and Russia in Ukraine and that it was time for the United States and the West to stop lying about it.
Now, the United States, with its financial support through its embassy in Budapest, has, as a foreign ideological invader, started a poster invasion on our own territory of the Hungarian government’s pro-peace stance. The posters draw a parallel between the situation in Hungary in 1956 and the current situation in Ukraine. They use the iconic graffiti of the time, which has become our national symbol: “Russkies home!” The U.S. government, which is interested in the escalation of the war and openly opposes peace negotiations, is using every means at its disposal to influence the Hungarian population in our own country.
It does so without, on the one hand, having the faintest idea of the unique, world-famous singularity of the events of 1956 and, on the other, being morally incapable of appreciating that it was not only a question of the independence of a nation, but also of the liberation of souls.
However, let us not forget: Had the United States and the West recognized back in 1956 the Imre Nagy government, and if the U.S. administration had not sent messages to the Soviet Union, the Soviets would have withdrawn for good, and we would have won. However, we know that this is not what happened, we were betrayed and sold out.
The situation today is more complicated than it was during the fight against communism. Back then, the statements, “They do not look at us favorably” and “They do not consider us a potential ally,” were a dagger wound in the body of a Hungarian nation that was already bleeding from many wounds, but we survived. America may have stolen our freedom, but at least it did not attack us.
Now, as an ally, the ruling Democratic government in Washington is launching a campaign on our home soil against the Hungarian government’s position of seeking an immediate ceasefire and peace. Really, why do we need an enemy when we have such allies? Just because the allied United States of America has entered the Russian-Ukrainian conflict as a death broker does not make their proposition of joining their effort

Because she did not want to have contact with him, Naiem A. (36) allegedly strangled his ex-girlfriend Tabitha E. (17) from Asperg. According to the indictment, he then threw the body into a bush near the river Enz.
Now the murder trial against the Syrian began. At the beginning, Naiem A. did not want to say anything about his curriculum vitae and the accusation of the crime. His lawyer: “My client is defending himself by remaining silent”.
BILD reported on the murder case last July: Tabitha left home to go shopping. But instead she allegedly met up with her ex-boyfriend Naiem A..
The murder allegedly took place near a railway subway.
Five days later, Tabitha’s body was found a few kilometres away on the riverbank near a sewage treatment plant. Before that, her ex-boyfriend Naiem A. had come under suspicion and been arrested. His BMW car was confiscated. The ex-boyfriend was taken into custody.
The prosecutor on the alleged motive: “He was not prepared to accept the separation.” And further: “From his point of view, she forfeited her right to life with her decision to separate.”
At the trial it became known that another case against Naiem A. for sexual harassment in seven cases was suspended.
A 15-year-old girl was apparently raped in the driveway of an underground car park in Dresden. A Tunisian man (26) suspected of the crime has meanwhile been caught by the police. Now charges have been brought against the alleged rapist!
The Tunisian allegedly lured the girl to Königsbrücker Street under cover of darkness under the pretext of wanting to talk to her. Around 11.30 p.m. he allegedly suddenly grabbed her and dragged her off the street.
“The accused allegedly dragged her into the driveway of an underground car park located in the backyard and raped her there,” said Jürgen Schmidt, spokesman for the Dresden public prosecutor’s office.
He covered her mouth so that others could not hear her cries for help. He also had a folding knife in his jacket pocket.
After several minutes, the girl managed to break away and flee. The police were then on the lookout for the rapist. A few weeks later they were successful: the suspect was arrested. He has been in custody since then.
“He has no criminal record and spontaneously admitted that the sexual intercourse was consensual,” explains Jürgen Schmidt. The crime allegedly took place on December 17.
