Hungarian opposition: More illegal US funds than previously known

Hungarian opposition figure Péter Márki-Zay received illegal funds from the US on a larger scale than previously thought. Facebook

The result of parliamentary elections in Hungary in April 2022 has been the bane of the opposition. The defeated movement around Péter Márki-Zay received illegal funds from the US on a larger scale than previously thought, according to a recently declassified intel report. Most media outlets have been silent about it.

As was already reported in September, illegal donations had flowed to the political opposition from the US organization Action for Democracy (AD). Attempts were made to influence the elections in Hungary from abroad and to support Viktor Orbán’s opponent candidate.

But according to the National Information Center in Budapest, the amount of money involved was even higher than initially reported.

The head of the agency, Brigadier General Zoltán András Kovács, underlined that this was clearly a violation of Hungary’s sovereignty. In an article he also criticized the silence of the international media about the scandal.

Last year, the secret services and investigative authorities found another 160 million Hungarian forints – the equivalent of 410 146 euros – in financial election campaign aid from abroad for the opposition. The funds are said to have been channeled through a Swiss foundation. A total of 3,2 billion forints (8,2 million euros) flowed from the AD to the Hungarian opposition alliance.

According to this, 58 percent of the funds went directly to the opposition movement MMM [Hungary for All], a smaller part to the eDemocracy Workshop Association and the rest to five companies that had been commissioned with the election campaign for the opposition.

The Hungarian authorities believe that people associated with the Democratic Party in the US were behind the organization AD.

The website of parliament’s national security committee also released a transcript of evidence given by NIK head Brigadier-General Zoltán András Kovács suggesting that the total amount of funding was around 160 million more than previously stated, the Hungarian state outlet MTI reported.

Kovács, director of the Evaluation, Analysis and Information Directorate, said that such donations were undoubtedly illegal. “Hungarian law prohibits political parties from accepting financial contributions from foreign organizations and non-Hungarian citizens; it also prohibits anonymous donations. Point.”

Foreign financial funding sent to Hungary exceeded 4 billion forints, MTI added, with various political analysts and marketing specialists being the ultimate beneficiaries among others.

And according to Magyar NemzetAction for Democracy could even have transferred money before it was officially registered.

At the same time, he scoffed at the international press’ silence on the case: “It’s amusing how the mainstream media seem to give our political opponents carte blanche when they’re caught red-handed. Just imagine if they had even the slightest evidence of misconduct in the election campaign by Fidesz and the KDNP (Christian Democratic People’s Party). I’m not taking much of a risk by saying that these newspapers wouldn’t stop publishing articles about it for months. Or maybe even years.”

He addressed the “bad-faith press reactions” that objected to the fact that Hungary’s domestic intelligence service, which had been transformed from the Office of National Security to the Office of Constitutional Protection, was subordinated to the Ministry of the Interior.

András Zoltán Kovács gave the example of NATO member states, including the United Kingdom, France and Germany, saying that in those countries the minister of the interior manages the secret services as well. He spoke about the fact that these bodies were directly controlled by the prime ministers, but according to him, they did not want to implement this after any regime change, lest a secret service scandal caused a government crisis.

Máté Kocsis, the group leader of ruling Fidesz, said the Hungarian political left had kept the foreign funding a secret prior to the general election and actually denied any connection to foreign financiers. “If we only look at the amount of foreign funding transferred to left-wing parties running in the elections, it is still four times the amount Hungarian parties were entitled to receive in central campaign financing. This fact alone seriously violates the country’s sovereignty,” Kocsis said on Facebook.

Delhi anti-Hindu riots: Shamim and Kafil charged with rioting, arson, court says it was done specifically because it was a ‘Hindu owned school’

Delhi violence in Seelampur (Image credit: The Hindu)

The court filed charges in a case of Delhi anti-Hindu riots against 2 accused, Shamim Ahmad, Mohammad Kafil (Kapil) and Faizan for arson and vandalisation of a school called Arun Modern Public Senior Secondary School in Brijpuri during the peak of violence on 25th of February 2020. The third accused who was a part of the mob, Faizan, is absconding and has been declared a PO (proclaimed offender). In the order framing charges, the court categorically said that it is apparent from the facts of the case that the three joined the riotous mob with the specific intent to damage property belonging to Hindus.

Passing the order framing charges in the case of Delhi anti-Hindu riots, the court said:

Facts of the case: Arun Modern Public Secondary School and Delhi anti-Hindu riots

On the 25th of February 2020, a call was received by PS Dayalpur after a mob of 150-200 people had entered the Arun Modern Public Secondary School and started vandalising the school and indulging in arson. When the ASI reached this school, he found that the school had been completely vandalised and charred. He also found that other vehicles were also set on fire.

The court order says that because the police was busy maintaining law and order, further action could not be taken immediately on the DD entry. A DD entry is a daily entry, where every complaint received by the police is recorded. On the following day, Jyoti Rani, the Principal of the school, made a formal written complaint about the attack on the school.

According to the order, “In her complaint, she alleged that on 25.02.2020 at about 4 p.m., around 150-200 persons forcibly entered into the school. They vandalized various articles of the school as well as various vehicles parked inside the school campus. They set the vehicles on fire apart from various other articles viz. Generator, almirahs, numerous documents. Computer systems, items of chemistry lab, furniture etc. This mob also burnt the computer lab completely. They also burnt the school library. The school suffered a loss of Rs.1-1.25 crores due to such incident”.

The order says that after the registration of the case, several other complaints came to the fore. While 2 Hindus complained of their vehicles being burnt, there was one Muslim man as well, Gayyur Ali, who complained of his Honda Amaze being burnt by the mob. These vehicles and centre were inside the campus of aforesaid school or parked around it, which were burnt by the mob. The police officer who was on duty in the area attested to identifying the three accused and his version was corroborated by other witnesses as well.

The first chargesheet was filed in the court on 13.06.2020 and then there were two supplementary chargesheets that were filed in the case.

What was the case of the defence and what the court said

The defence counsel for the three accused made the following three claims:

  1. The witnesses who identified the accused were planted by the police.
  2. There was a variation in the complaint filed and the FIR registered by the police.
  3. That the FIR was registered much later (belatedly).

The prosecution countered the contention of the defence on all these counts. The court agreed with the prosecution that at this stage of the case, the court was not supposed to look at whether witnesses were planted or not. Further, the court held that there was no variation between the complaint filed and the FIR registered by the police. On the question of the delayed filing of the FIR, the court said, “IO has given reason for the same in the chargesheet and credibility of such reason shall be appreciated at the final stage”.

The court therefore ordered, “Thus, on the basis of above-mentioned discussion, I find that accused persons namely Shamim Ahmed and Mohd. Kafil @ Kapil are liable to be tried for offence u/s 147/148/427/435/436 IPC read with Section 149 IPC and Section 188 IPC”.

Muslim UK Soldier Conspired With Terrorists: Nothing to do with Islam

We’ve seen this in the United States in a number of incidents, most prominently in the Fort Hood Massacre, but it affects any military organization that recruits from the population most likely to be at war with it.

A serving member of the British Army has been charged with terror and explosives offences, the Metropolitan Police said.

Daniel Abed Khalif, of Beaconside, Stafford, was charged over two incidents in Staffordshire in August 2021 and January this year.

He is accused of “eliciting or attempting to elicit information of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism” in the area of Beaconside in August 2021.

He is also accused of placing an article “with the intention of inducing in another a belief that the said article was likely to explode or ignite and thereby cause personal injury or damage to property” in connection with an incident in the same area on or before 2 January this year.

Khalif is in police custody and is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.

Germans believe their country is going down the tubes

The Germans have lost faith in their country as a leading economic nation. Once the pride of the EU, today only 39 percent of the population believe that Germany will still play a leading role on the world economic market in 15 years.

Fewer and fewer Germans are satisfied with their state. This is the result of a recent Allensbach survey. Some 80 percent of all Germans are of the opinion that the state is inhibiting itself in its development through too much bureaucracy. This also means that fewer and fewer believe in a good economic future. Only 39 percent still think that Germany will still be one of the leaders in the world economy in 15 years. In the past, this number used to be almost 60 percent.

Some 68 percent of all Germans are dissatisfied with so-called digital progress. Only 14 percent of Germans believe that Germany has emerged stronger from the crises of recent years. And half believe that many things are no longer working properly in their country. This is not good for the German government, nor is it an optimistic assessment of the future.

Terror in Jerusalem: Seven dead in shooting in synagogue

screen grab youtube

At least seven people were killed and several others were injured, including one critically, in a shooting attack on the Ateret Avraham Synagogue in the Neve Yaakov neighborhood of Jerusalem on Friday evening.

Magen David Adom paramedics evacuated five injured people to hospitals, including three who were evacuated to Hadassah Hospital on Mount Scopus, and two who were evacuated to Shaare Zedek Hospital. These include a man about 30 years old in critical condition and a woman about 60 years of age in moderate condition.

Initial reports indicate that a terrorist got out of a vehicle and opened fire at people who were gathered outside the synagogue, opened fire at them, and then continued to pursue frightened worshipers who were fleeing the scene.

The terrorist eventually fled the scene in a white Toyota and was met by police officers who shot him dead.

The terrorist has been identified as Alkam Khairi, a 21-year-old resident of eastern Jerusalem.

The Israel Police said, “Terror attack in a synagogue in Jerusalem: This evening at around 8:30pm local time, a terrorist arrived at a synagogue in the Neve Ya’akov boulevard in Jerusalem and proceeded to shoot at a number of people in the area.”

“Police forces quickly arrived at the scene, engaged with the terrorist and opened fire at him. The terrorist was neutralized. Seven innocent people were slaughtered and more were injured as result of the terror attack.”

Israel Police Commissioner Yaakov Shabtai said, “This is a serious and complex attack with a large number of victims. We are currently conducting searches in the area to rule out the possibility that there are more people involved who are walking around freely. The terrorist was neutralized by a police officer and a volunteer of the Israel Police, which prevented a bigger attack.”

Superintendent Doron Turgeman, commander of the Jerusalem district of the Israel Police, provided an update at the scene.

“The terrorist arrived at Neve Yaakov Boulevard, opened fire, hit several people, continued in his car and drove in the general direction of Beit Hanina. The police officers at the scene received a report and began to strive for contact. They recognized the vehicle which began to fire at them, they began pursuing him. The terrorist began to flee on foot, the police chased after him and succeeded in neutralizing him.”

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir arrived at the scene and was briefed by police on the situation.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived at the scene as well.

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, who was on a trip abroad, has cut short his trip and will return to Israel. On the way, he held an assessment of the situation with IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi, Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) chief Ronen Bar, Defense Ministry Director General Eyal Zamir and other top defense officials.

At the conclusion of the assessment of the situation, the minister said, “This is a serious and sad attack against civilians on the eve of Shabbat. The defense establishment under my leadership will act strongly and uncompromisingly against terrorism and will reach all those involved in the attack.”

Opposition leader Yair Lapid commented on the attack and said, “A difficult and painful Erev Shabbat. The heart breaks when seeing the difficult sights. Terror in a synagogue, a criminal terrorist, a cold-blooded killer. I send my condolences to the families who lost their dearest and wish recovery to the injured. The security forces neutralized the terrorist and will lay hands on anyone who helped him.”

“Terrorism must not be allowed to rear its head, the terrorists and their senders must be dealt with harshly,” he added.

Yisrael Beytenu chairman MK Avigdor Liberman said, “A shocking massacre tonight in Jerusalem. I send condolences to the families of the murdered, strengthen the security forces operating in the field and wish a speedy recovery to the wounded. The government must exact a heavy price from the perpetrators of the attack and their senders.”

Labor chairwoman MK Merav Michaeli commented, “A difficult and cruel evening with the terrible attack in Jerusalem. The serious terrorism rears its head and murderously crushes Israeli families. My heart goes out to the victims and the families of the murdered.”

“This terrorism must be fought hard and without compromise,” she added.

France: At a court hearing, he threatens the staff present and declares that he will return “with the sabre of Allah” to “dismember the police and the judiciary”

There was an eerie atmosphere on Monday January 23 when a 45-year-old homeless man was brought to court. The man was on trial for death threats and threats of repeated offences against representatives of the justice system.

On Wednesday January 18, during an official visit to the Palace of Justice, the man had suddenly attacked the staff present and uttered that he would return “with the sword of Allah” to “dismember the police and the judiciary”. During his interrogations in police custody at the Le Havre police station, and later at his direct appearance hearing on Monday, the man referred several times to Allah’s judgement and the afterlife.

He was already well known to the court from several cases, including similar acts of threatening law enforcement officers. He asked to remain in prison and did not return to the dock when his sentence was announced: 24 months imprisonment followed by preventive detention. Le Courrier Cauchois

‘Functionally Illiterate’ Officers Recruited by London’s Met Police to Increase Diversity

Police dancing the macarena at pride

London’s Metropolitan Police recruited officers who are “functionally illiterate” in English in order to increase diversity, according a member of His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary.

The diversity and inclusion push from the woke leadership of the largest police force in Britain has seen the Met accept applicants who can barely write in English, HMI Matt Parr said. The police watchdog said that while he felt that it was “noble and right” to increase the number of ethnic minorities hired by Scotland Yard, Parr urged that this must not be at the cost of lowering standards.

“We completely support the idea that London – which will likely be a minority white city in the next decade or so – should not be policed by an overwhelmingly white police force,” Parr told The Telegraph.

“That is clearly wrong. It is not just wrong from a legitimacy point of view, and from an appearances point of view, it is also operationally wrong because it means that the Met does not get insight into some of the communities it polices and that has caused problems in the past,” he continued.

Yet, the HMI said that there is a “risk of recruiting the wrong people,” saying that he has heard of trainee officers “who are, on paper at least, functionally illiterate in English”. Par noted that this has already had a trickle-down impact on the force’s ability to function, saying that “just writing up crime reports has become quite difficult in some areas.”

“So in that drive there is at least anecdotal evidence that they have lowered standards,” he said.

The push for more diversity at the Met came under former Met Commissioner Cressida Dick, the first openly gay leader of the force, and leftist Mayor Sadiq Khan, who pledged to recruit 40 per cent of all new police officers from Black, Asian and minority (BAME) communities by 2023.

However, despite this push and the apparent lowering of literacy standards to accept more minorities, at present the number of non-white police officers serving in London is still lower than 17 per cent.

In addition to implementing woke standards in the hiring process, UK police forces have also been spending tens of millions on so-called “diversity, inclusion, and equality officers” and “equality training programmes”.

In 2020, it was revealed that the Met Police force began hiring “racism spotters“, who would study prospective officers to determine if they held any racial or other prejudices.

Cressida Dick’s successor as Met Commissioner, Sir Mark Rowley has said that he would “dial down the requirement to meet [diversity] targets” and instead try to hire the best officers.

Former police officer and current head of crime and justice at the Policy Exchange think tank, David Spencer said: “There is a tension between volume, quality and diversity and something has to give. Someone has to ask what is the most important of those three things and you have to be really careful because once you have recruited someone they are possibly going to be there for the next 30 years.”

The Irish have no option left but to protest against an asylum crisis of their government’s own making

screen grab youtube

The Irish government has run out of designated accommodations to cater to asylum seekers. It has thus resorted to placing new arrivals in hotels — at considerable cost to Irish taxpayers — and tents as the country struggles to cope with demand.

Ireland experienced a record year for asylum applications in 2022, with the Department of Justice releasing a figure that was six times higher than the previous year. Immigration into the country hit a 15-year high.

With the government failing to implement the necessary infrastructure to handle such numbers, Irish nationals have taken to the streets to express their concern and anger at what they believe to be an unsustainable immigration rate. The massive influx of people is putting pressure on public services and social housing, in addition to creating social tensions caused by new arrivals unfamiliar with the Irish way of life.

The integration process has undoubtedly been hindered by the government’s failure to ensure the necessary measures were put in place before opening the country’s doors to newcomers, and those opposed to the record levels of asylum seekers across the world believe placing them in hotels in rural areas has serious security issues. They also argue that stretching social services to accommodate new arrivals when the supply of housing and social housing waiting lists are saturated is simply unfair.

Ireland is already facing a housing crisis

To put recent protests against the rate of newcomers into perspective, one need only look at the housing crisis enveloping the country. Housing in general across Ireland is at a premium, with a collapse in the number of rental properties available leading to sky-high rents in the properties remaining, particularly in Dublin.

According to Ronan Lyons, a Trinity College Dublin professor and housing expert, the Irish government will need to almost double its current commitment to build 28,000 new homes per year to within the range of 42,000-62,000 to accommodate the country’s rising population trajectory over the next 30 years.

The sub-issue of social housing is also raising alarm. The Irish Times reported in November last year how just 200 homes were being added per year to the stock of social housing across four councils in the Irish capital between 2017 and 2021, leaving thousands on waiting lists for social housing who have virtually no chance.

On top of that are official reports of an unprecedented 11,397 people in homeless shelters across the country in October last year. It then becomes clear why people have had enough and believe the country is full.

Similar to many other European nations whose governments have resorted to block-booking hotels to cater to the influx of newcomers, the upcoming tourism season represents a ticking time bomb. Hoteliers will either reject new government contracts to house asylum seekers or take advantage of the situation and extort those paying the bill — ultimately the Irish taxpayers.

Chief executive of the Irish Tourism Industry Council Eoghan O’Mara Walsh recently told RTÉ that 28 percent of all tourism beds in regional Ireland are currently occupied by Ukrainian refugees or asylum seekers. He urged the Irish government to quickly come up with a comprehensive plan to protect the tourism industry, upon which the Irish economy is heavily reliant.

How does the government plan to address the asylum chaos?

Is the government listening? It would appear not when considering the latest remarks from recently appointed Minister for Integration Joe O’Brien, who told the Irish Independent this month to expect similar numbers of new arrivals in the year ahead, despite Integration Minister Roderic O’Gorman warning of the “very real risk” that newcomers will end up needing to sleep on the streets.

O’Gorman spoke of asylum reception centers being filled to the brim, adding that the government was prioritizing families with young children for suitable housing. The inevitable consequence of this, however, is Irish society being left with groups of angry adult men roaming the streets, a consequence Irish protesters are rightly concerned about.

An announcement this week from the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth advised “those who are considering seeking refuge in Ireland and who are currently in places of safety not to travel to Ireland at this time.” These appear to be hollow words from a government refusing to take the radical action necessary to prevent the crisis from deepening even further.

Many within the Irish establishment are attempting to dismiss the mass protests across the country opposing plans to keep Ireland’s doors open as events of far-right extremists. The populist Irish Freedom Party has accused the country’s “political and media class” of “engaging in a campaign of demonizing ordinary people.” However, the reality is that many across both sides of the debate agree the asylum system is broken and isn’t going to be fixed by adopting a same-again approach this year.

Earlier this month, the head of the UN agency for refugees (UNHCR) in Ireland, Enda O’Neill, admitted that the asylum system in the country is “unraveling rapidly,” and warned that “urgent intervention at the most senior levels of government is needed if we are to turn this around.”

The asylum crisis is one of the liberal Irish government’s own making, and it is clear that a radical change in approach is required to stem the flow. However, if recent murmurs from within the government, which indicate a reluctance to change tack, are accurate, the fault for the breaking point in the housing market being breached, the flames of social tensions being further stoked, and the highly probably rise in anti-immigrant sentiment will be firmly placed at the government’s door.

Pfizer executive goes thug on James O’Keefe after realizing he had been recorded boasting about ‘mutating’ Covid virus for profit

By Thomas Lifson

The incredible undercover video of a senior Pfizer executive boasting about “mutating” the Covid virus released Wednesday by Project Veritas is making waves, even though the corporate media have completely ignored it as Google suppresses searches for it. Here is the original video itself of Pfizer’s Jordon Trishton Walker regaling his companion, unaware that he was being recorded.

Twitter video screengrab

And here is Tucker Carlson last night explaining the total suppression of the video despite 12 million online views and the tech oligopolists’ suppression of searches for it.

Pfizer’s CEO Albert Bourla, questioned about the video by Rebel News, clammed up and dismissed the question with “Thank-you very much” and “Have a nice day.”

But new video released yesterday afternoon by Project Veritas shows Walker being confronted by Project Veritas head James O’Keefe, shown video of the encounter on an iPad, and going thug on him and others from Project Veritas, who were openly recording the encounter. The entire video is 10 minutes long, and begins with what might be called highlights, before a more complete record of the encounter. It is worth your time to watch, but in case you are in a hurry, there are some screengrabs below. (All from YouTube screengrabs)

Walker at first claims he was lying, just trying to impress a date, which is an interesting confession of sleaziness, if accurate. He also denies being a scientist, stating he was hired from a consulting firm. It will be interesting to find out which one., if this is true.

But it is when Walker tries to grab the iPad, slams it to the ground, and engages physically with PV staff that it gets interesting, and potentially criminal.

Here he grabs the iPad:

And here it goes flying to the floor:

After tussling with the PV crew, he ends up on the floor himself:

Walker instructs the owner of the café to call the police and lock the doors and prevent O’Keefe and company from leaving, which in most states constitutes kidnapping or unlawful detention. It’s odd because he is the only person potentially committing crimes. The PV crew does leave, and when they do, Walker goes outside and tries to block a car he mistakenly believes they are riding in.

In my opinion, Walker became crazed and desperate, realizing that he had probably torpedoed his career and might be in for some even worse consequences.

I expect Walker may face a subpoena from the House Committee investigating Covid. He and other Pfizer executives need to be placed under oath and explain what, if any, mutations they have been creating out of the Covid virus.
