WATCH: Army Veteran Fined While Praying for Dead Son Outside Abortion Clinic
A British Army veteran was reportedly issued a fine while silently praying for his deceased son outside of an abortion clinic in Bournemouth, England for allegedly violating the so-called protest-free “buffer zone” around the facility.
Video footage has emerged of Adam Smith-Connor being fined while praying for his son, who died in an abortion 22 years ago, outside an abortion facility in the Bournemouth area. The army veteran was approached by “community safety accredited officers,” who informed him that he was allegedly breaching local Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) which prohibits protests outside the clinic in question.
Put into place in October of last year, the PSPO order prohibits “engaging in an act of approval/disapproval or attempted act of approval/disapproval, with respect to issues related to abortion services, by any means. This includes but is not limited to graphic, verbal or written means, or counselling.”
The “buffer zone” order also prohibits audible prayer, reciting scripture, sprinkling holy water or crossing oneself in the restricted area around the abortion facility “if they perceive a service-users is passing by”.
In footage posted on social media by faith commentator Lois McLatchie, one of the officers was heard saying: “I’m sorry for your loss. But ultimately, I have to go along with the guidelines of the Public Space Protection Order, to say that we are in the belief that therefore you are in breach of clause 4a, which says about prayer, and also acts of disapproval”.
“I understand that. But the PSPO is in place for a reason and we have to follow through on those regulations,” the officer responded.
Responding to the fine, Adam Smith-Connor said: “I would never have imagined being in a position to risk a criminal record for praying silently. In the past, I assisted with abortions in hospital as part of my army medical training, but now I pray for those who perform abortions because I realise how harmful abortion is to women and families, and that every single human life is valuable – no matter how small. Most of all, I’m moved to pray because of what happened to my son, Jacob.”
He went on to say that his decision to drive and pay for his then-girlfriend to have an abortion 22 years ago was a “pivotal moment” in his life and that he has since gone on to “grieve” for assisting in the death of his son.
The case follows a similar incident in which the director of the UK March for Life, Isabel Vaughan-Spruce was arrested while she claimed that she “might” have been silently praying outside an abortion facility in Birmingham that was also subject to a buffer zone PSPO order.
According to the faith-based legal advocacy group ADF UK, Vaughan-Spruce is due to appear before the Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on 2 February for allegedly violating the order. The group claimed that she has been charged with “protesting and engaging in an act that is intimidating to service users”. However, ADF UK asserted that after the PSPO order was put in place, she only ever prayed outside the clinic while it was closed and therefore reject the notion that she could have intimidated any woman trying to get an abortion.
Jeremiah Igunnubole, the legal counsel for ADF UK, which is representing Smith-Connor in his legal challenge against the fine, said in a statement: “Nobody should be criminalised for what they believe – especially not when they express that belief silently, in the privacy of their own minds.”
“Just like in the case of Isabel Vaughan-Spruce last month, Adam could now face prosecution for holding thoughts, and lifting those thoughts to God in prayer, within a censorship zone. The rapid proliferation of orders criminalising volunteers such as Adam and Isabel should be a wake up call to all those who value freedom of expression – even freedom of thought – no matter their views on abortion.”
While local orders to prevent protests surrounding abortion clinics in Britain have been longstanding, the allegedly Conservative Party backed a Labour Party proposal to institute a nationwide ban throughout the entirety of England and Wales last year. The legislation, which is still pending, would criminalise advising, informing, influencing, persuading, or even expressing an opinion on abortion within a 150-meter protest-free zone surrounding all abortion clinics, with a penalty of up to two years in prison.

Syrian arrested in German cattle shed for sodomy
After several offences in the past months, the police have now succeeded in convicting the man, who comes from Syria, last Saturday, January 14. This was reported by the district police authority in Unna on Friday.
A farmer from the Kamen district of Methler caught the man in his cattle shed and held him until the police arrived, as police spokesperson Bernd Pentrop told wa.de. According to the spokesperson, the 28-year-old had brought a stool with him. The police arrested the accused and took him to the Kamen police station.
During later questioning, the accused stated that he had been sexually abusing several animals on farms in Kamen and the region since 2018. The interrogation did not reveal the exact locations where the animal abuser had been active. “There is a tendency that the incidents may also have taken place abroad,” said police spokesman Bernd Pentrup. According to the current state of the investigation, there are no indications that an animal was injured during the sexual acts.
People who have sexual intercourse with animals are also called sodomites. Criminal proceedings have been initiated against the man. The criminal investigation is continuing and the appropriate authorities have been informed to help the man, who is obviously mentally ill, the spokesperson for the authorities reported.

Stop the Pandemic Treaty WHO Power Grab
By Janet Levy
The World Health Organization (WHO) failed to forewarn the world about the 2020 coronavirus pandemic. The measures it mandated did not prevent the loss of lives and collapse of economies but helped pharma giants make billions through enforced vaccination. Against all evidence, it gave China a pass on a possible lab leak of the virus.
Now, pursuing its massively funded left-elitist agenda, it wants member countries to surrender sovereignty over healthcare decisions. President Joe Biden is readily submitting to and endorsing this global power grab. He must be halted.
In May this year, the World Health Assembly – WHO’s decision-making body – is set to approve a pandemic treaty and amend the International Health Regulations (IHR). If ratified, these will centralize power in the hands of the WHO, world leaders, and designated stakeholders (read leftist NGOs, pharma companies, and the elite who own and fund them). Under the pretext of managing health emergencies, which they will unilaterally declare, these vested interests will be able to wrest control over nations’ sovereignty and people’s G-d-given rights. It is critical that our citizens know of the Orwellian implications of these measures and entreat senators and representatives to oppose the ratification.
After the pandemic broke out, President Donald Trump had cut American tieswith the WHO, blaming it for “mismanaging and covering up the spread” of Covid-19, siding with communist China, and failing to hold the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) responsible for the deaths and economic devastation. It took guts and forcefulness to do that. But Biden reversed that immediately on assuming the presidency, rejoining the WHO, and assigning the discredited Dr. Anthony Fauci to represent the country on its executive committee. Ideologically aligned with the left-elite, Biden is in essence bestowing an American imprimatur on an initiative that is most un-American in spirit and fosters oppression and control.
In a video titled ‘100 Reasons to Exit the WHO,’ author and researcher James Roguski presents a strong basis for rejecting the pandemic treaty and the perilous IHR amendments, documenting the many threats they pose to our sovereignty. The treaty is a legally binding document significantly expanding the role of the WHO. It gives the WHO the central role in prevention, preparedness, and response to future pandemics, enabling it to preside over all healthcare systems and build a ‘pharmaceutical-hospital-emergency-industrial’ (PHEI) complex by directing funds to corporations that profit from pandemics and other public health emergencies. This will be achieved through a public-private-partnership bureaucracy between signatory countries and relevant stakeholders, among them the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI); the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundations, major funders of GAVI; the Rockefeller Foundation; the Population Council, which advocates population control; the Clinton Health Access Initiative; the World Bank, which has launched a $1 billion pandemic fund; and – no surprises here – the George Soros Open Society Foundation, with its dangerous pursuit of a world government and the ultimate abdication of individual rights.
The chief ideas in the treaty are geared to achieve ‘open society’ goals. Inherent to the treaty is the concept of ‘One Health,’ to include humans, animals, plants, and other features of the natural environment. It advocates a ‘whole of government’ and ‘whole of society’ approach to handling pandemics. Behind the holistic façade, however, it will create oversight mechanisms to review healthcare systems for treaty compliance, giving government agencies and NGOs the authority to control the lives of the citizens of its 194 member nations.
The IHR amendments constitute the nuts and bolts of implementing global control by dictating to people on one of the most vital aspects of their lives – their health. Currently, the IHR is a non-binding set of rules for public health emergencies. It came into effect in 2007, following the 2002-04 SARS-CoV-1 outbreak. It allowed for collaboration between the WHO and the U.S. on emergencies like the recent pandemic. But the proposed changes give the WHO the exclusive right to declare health emergencies, propose remedies, and demand action. Countries will have to give mandatory access to WHO-designated experts and foreign care workers. Unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats will reign supreme, working under an emergency committee with the power to overrule governments’ policies; member countries will have to surrender autonomy, and their citizens their fundamental freedoms and individual rights.
During designated international emergencies, it’s the WHO that will order medical tests, vaccinations, health certificates, lockdowns, quarantines, and travel restrictions. It will also decide on the manufacture, donation, and distribution of pandemic-response products. It will have the power to control messaging, censor information running contrary to official positions, analyze social media and flag posts as ‘misinformation’ or ‘disinformation.’ Any barriers to the implementation of what it imposes could be rectified or eliminated.
Amended provisions to the IHR will also enrich Big Pharma, with the WHO having unbridled power to accelerate the approval process for drugs and vaccines, end prohibitions against gain-of-function research, and conduct simulations and biological war games (such as Event 201 and Clade X) whenever it chooses.
The revisions will also enable the WHO to require contact tracing, review travel information, and refuse entry or departure into all countries. It could mandate health certificates under a global database system, permitting or denying travel, allowing or proscribing purchases, and monitoring adherence to treatments. Complete access to everyone’s digital health records will spell the end of privacy. Any changes to the proposed IHR revisions will be the exclusive province of the WHO, and its director general alone will have the authority to end declared health emergencies.
If this sounds like dystopic global governance, it could well be a reality – achieved through never-ending declaration of emergencies. For the pandemic treaty and the IHR amendments are meant for nothing short of a power grab, a global control of the world’s people and resources. They could usher in an unelected, unaccountable world government, unacceptable to the people of the United States of America.
And if more immediate and pragmatic reasons were needed for stopping the treaty and the IHR amendments, we need look no further than the miserable failure of the global response to the Covid-19 pandemic. The “two weeks to flatten the curve” stretched into two years without an end in sight. Mandated lockdowns, social distancing, travel restrictions, and masking failed; they only caused economic devastation, isolation, and mental health problems. Alternative treatments were blocked, tests were mandated, and vaccines were rushed through. There’s significant evidence now that the vaccines were unsafe and in fact damaged immune systems.
Perhaps there’s hope that Biden’s folly will be thwarted. Rep. Chip Roy (TX-21), supported by 15 colleagues in the House, has introduced legislation to prohibit U.S. funding for the WHO. “Funneling millions of taxpayer dollars to the corrupt WHO that serves the CCP,” he says, “is a slap in the face to hardworking American families struggling under record high inflation, and to all those whose lives and livelihoods were ruined and destroyed by the Covid pandemic.”
Straight talk, to which Americans must respond with vigor to avoid the sacrifice of our individual rights, privacy, and freedom. Meanwhile, China – where it all started, where information is censored, and whose citizens don’t know what freedom is – has officially reported 60,000 Covid deaths in the last 35 days. Experts say this could be a tenth of the true figure. Isn’t that reason enough for Americans to rise and thwart the insidious treaty and amendments that threaten to bring upon us a CCP-like world government?

Swiss illegal immigration tripled last year but smuggling arrests fell
Illegal immigration into Switzerland almost tripled last year, according to statistics published on Thursday by the Federal Office for Customs and Border Security (OFDF).
The number of unlawful border crossings into the country has been on the rise in the last three years, jumping from 11,043 in 2020 to 18,859 in 2021, before skyrocketing last year to 52,077.
The substantial increase last year “is mainly due to the irregular entry of migrants into Switzerland via the eastern border as well as via the southern border,” the federal office stated, referring to its borders with Austria and Italy.
“The migrants who entered Switzerland illegally are mainly of Afghan and Moroccan nationality,” the OFDF added.
Many of those entering the country were in possession of an Austrian asylum procedure card, had been in Europe for some time, and were looking to travel on to France or the United Kingdom, according to information from border guards as cited by Swiss news outlet SWI.
Switzerland is surrounded by EU nations that signed up to the free-movement Schengen Area, an area Switzerland itself is a member of, making border checks considerably more difficult to implement.
Despite a considerable rise in irregular border crossings, the number of people arrested on suspicion of people smuggling actually fell slightly last year compared to 2021, from 478 to 476 arrests.
In an attempt to combat the concerning trend in illegal immigration, the Swiss and Austrian governments agreed last September on an action plan for increased cross-border searches and greater cooperation to combat smugglers.
Two-thirds of the illegal immigration arrests in 2022 took place in the last five months of the year, suggesting the action taken by authorities has at least been of some use, but the growing number of illegal immigrants shows more needs to be done to contain the situation.

India: Muslim politician threatens to wage a war if comments are made against Prophet Muhammad
Gulam Rasool Balyavi, a Janata Dal (United) MLC Thursday, vowed that Islamists would wage a war and turn every city into a ‘Karbala’ if any finger was pointed at Prophet Muhammad. Balyavi made the remark while addressing a crowd in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand.
During his address, he alluded to the benign remark made by former BJP politician Nupur Sharma last year about Prophet Muhammad and Islam, which triggered a sequence of death and rape threats directed at her by Islamists across the world. He stated that Muslims will not tolerate insults to their master.
“We are in Karbala ground…if you disrespect our Prophet, we will turn cities into Karbala,” The JDU leader said, essentially calling upon Islamists to kill anyone who is branded a blasphemer by Islamic fundamentalists.
He further went on to slam the ‘secular’ political parties for not demanding an arrest of Nupur Sharma. “I don’t want to name any party. Not a single so-called secular leader demanded the arrest of this crazy woman,” the JDU leader said.
Gulam Rasool Balyavi stated that Muslims will not hesitate because their life and breath belong to the Prophet. He stated that Muslims believe that there would be a day when only the Prophet and no other people will be alive.
According to reports, the JDU leader instructed his supporters to block Ranchi’s highways. He exhorted Muslims to demonstrate to the authorities that they may be buried beneath the ashes, but they are not extinguished.
After facing backlash for openly threatening Hindus with violence, the JDU leader defended his vile statement by saying that ‘Karbala’ refers to sacrificing everything for the sake of humanity and brotherhood. He said people from the Muslim community are being kept behind bars after being labelled as terrorists and called for a “Muslim safety act” to be brought for the community’s safety.
Kabala battle was fought between Shia and Sunni Muslims
For the uninitiated, the Battle of Karbala was a conflict in which adherents of Islam’s two main sects, Shias and Sunnis, bayed for each other’s blood in order to establish religious authority. Shias were considered heretics and apostates by Sunnis. The Battle of Karbala was fought between the army of the second Umayyad Caliph Yazid I, representing the Sunni sect and a small army led by Husayn ibn Ali, Prophet Muhammad’s grandson. Sunni and Shia Muslims have distinct perspectives on the Battle of Karbala. For Shia, it represents the irrevocable split with Sunni Islam
Italy: Controversial anti-rape school leaflet pulled – ‘No smiles, no flashy dress’ code had spurred protests
A controversial council leaflet advising high-school students in a northern Italian city to avoid smiles and flashy clothing in a bid to stem the risk of rapists attacking them was withdrawn from circulation and the councillor concerned demoted Thursday evening.
In the leaflet, which spurred protests from high school girls and young women, the council in Cividale del Friuli near Udine in Friuli issued a proposed ‘anti-rape code’ saying girls and young women should avoid “smiling ironically or provocatively to strangers”.
They were also told to “avoid wearing valuable objects…and remember that the aggressor observes and selects his victims also on the basis of certain details like jewels and excessively elegant or showy clothing”.
Students staged demonstrations against the suggest code with a local student leader, Beatrice Bertossi, saying: “We are protesting because we deem unacceptable the phrases contained in this leaflet, but we also contest the advisability of a leaflet aimed at potential victims, when it is well-known that the prevention of violence must above all start from the aggressors”.
Students displayed placards in high schools including “we condemn patriarchal violence in schools’, “hands off our bodies, violence is never justified” and “against all oppression, against all oppressors”.
Bertoss said the students were holding meetings and also talking to their teachers to set up fresh protest initiatives “to reaffirm our choral condemnation of an initiative of this kind.
“We are convinced that you fight violence with education, not by blaming the victims”.

BBC broadcaster in ‘death to Israel’ rant
A journalist hired by the BBC has ranted “death to Israel” on social media and described it as “occupied Palestine” live on air, the JC can reveal.
Regular BBC Arabic contributor Mayssaa Abdul Khalek, a Lebanon-based reporter, also called on Arab states to attack Israel on Twitter, alongside links to her broadcasts for the corporation.
The disclosure comes despite a JC campaign which has revealed a catalogue of anti-Israel bias in BBC broadcasts and has led to the establishment of parliamentary inquiry due to start later this year.
In a live report, Ms Khalek, who describes herself as a “BBC Arabic co-host”, described a Hezbollah rocket attack on northern Israel as an attack on “occupied Palestine”.
Three rockets had been launched against the Israeli border town of Metula, which she then called “an imperialist colony”.
The town is located at Israel’s northernmost point, inside the internationally-recognised 1967 border with Lebanon.
During the 2006 Lebanon war, the town’s population was forced to flee as it was bombarded by Hezbollah rockets.
During a live report in May 2021, Ms Khalek described how a Lebanese man had died, saying, “he and a group of youths were hit by RPGs that Israeli military shot at them during their attempt to cross the border fence in front of the imperialist colony of Metula”.
Without interruption by the presenter interviewing her, she went on:
“These events also come after three rockets were launched yesterday from South Lebanon towards occupied Palestine.”
She also used the phrase “occupied Palestinian territories” to describe Israel in a tweet linked to the same broadcast, which contravenes BBC guidelines. Last week, after she was contacted by the JC, the post was deleted.
Ms Khalek has used the social media account to publicise 30 broadcasts she has made for the BBC, alongside anti-Israeli material.
In March last year, she liked a tweet commemorating Diaa Hamarsheh, a terrorist who died in a gun battle after killing a rabbi, a policemen and three civilians in Bnei Brak, near Tel Aviv.
Then in November she described “the enemy, Israel” alongside photographs of a Palestinian rally and a teenager holding up a sweatshirt with the slogan “Freedom for Palestine”.
A December 2017 post under a photo of the late Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir read: “The Arabs are in a deep slumber… Confronting Israel was limited to statements of denunciation that do not make us fat, do not satisfy our hunger, and do not restore our Jerusalem to us.”
A post on the Syrian war in February 2016 began with the phrase “Death to Israel”. It went on: “Is it your business to resist the Arab countries or Israel? Oh, sorry, Israel is an ally of your friend Russia, and they coordinate in the Syrian war.”
Last month, the JC revealed that the BBC had dropped the Palestinian pundit Abdel Bari Atwan who has defended numerous terrorist attacks, including the Munich massacre and the recent knife assault on author Sir Salman Rushdie. BBC Director-General Tim Davie had previously defended his contributions.
At the same time, Arabic channel staff were told they must abide by BBC guidelines on bias and that their output would be monitored. They were also informed that almost half the channel’s 150 jobs would go as part of BBC cost-cutting.
In September , media watchdog CAMERA Arabic, which later also translated the words used by Ms Khalek, disclosed that in a broadcast about Palestinian prisoner Nasser Abu Hmeid, who was suffering from cancer, BBC Arabic failed to mention that he had been convicted of the murder of seven Israelis.
At the time, a BBC spokesperson said that the correspondent “should have explained the background”. However, in late December, after his death, BBC Arabic again failed to mention Hmeid’s killings in an online report. Following a complaint by CAMERA, the BBC acknowledged the error again.
A BBC spokesperson said: “Mayassa Abdel Khalek is not a BBC News Arabic co-host or presenter. She is a contributor invited on occasion to talk about Lebanon.
“In a live and brief interview held May 14th 2021, when Ms Abdel Khalek delivered her analysis on rockets fired from Lebanon on May 13th 2021, she should have been challenged when she described Metulla as a ‘colony’.
“Further, when Ms Abdel Khalek commented on the intended target of the rockets, the presenter should have disputed her remark that they were headed to ‘occupied Palestine’. They were presumably launched towards northern Israel, which the BBC wouldn’t describe as ‘occupied Palestine’.
“We do not ban guests from appearing on the BBC. Careful judgements are made and will continue to be made about the guests we invite on and the context in which we hear from them.”
