Expert on Islamism warns: Homophobia and Muslim immigration in Germany are connected

Homophobic attacks by Muslim immigrants are becoming more frequent. In Münster, a Chechen allegedly kills a transsexual on Christopher Street Day. And in a Bremen tram, 15 youths attack a trans woman, beating her to hospital. Already in June, 30 ” Mediterraneaners” attacked the CSD in Karlsruhe and burned rainbow flags. In Dresden, a Syrian stabbed a gay man to death because he was walking hand in hand with his partner. Now migration expert Ahmad Mansour is sounding the alarm.

“Among Chechens, hatred of homosexuals is widespread. But also among men from Afghanistan or Syria. With migration from these countries, homophobia is growing in Germany,” the psychologist told the newspaper Bild.

The suspected Chechen Nuradi A., who had already hatefully shouted at and threatened CSD participants, was a rejected asylum seeker. And he was known to the police for several offences. But like almost everyone with this background, the 20-year-old was not deported. Mansour emphasises: “Chechens are one of the biggest challenges to integration.”

Politicians sometimes see things differently. The boxing centre in Münster, where Nuradi A. trained, was described by former state premier of North Rhine-Westphalia Armin Laschet as a “unique integrative boxing project”. The failed candidate for chancellor of the Christian Democratic Union/Christian Social Union (CDU/CSU) did not mention that propaganda for the Islamic terrorist organisation Hezbollah is said to have been made there.

Will it be a long, cold, lonely winter for Europe?

By Brian C. Joondeph

“Here Comes the Sun” is one of the Beatles’ great hits from their Abbey Road album, written by George Harrison at the country house of his friend Eric Clapton. Those were down days for George, and one of the song lines, “Little darlin’, it’s been a long, cold, lonely winter” might apply as much to George’s life in 1969 England as it will collectively to the upcoming winter in Europe.

The sun is shining these days as it is still summer in the Northern Hemisphere, but not for long. News stories abound for those paying attention. From Euronews, “European governments are scrambling to find ways to shield households and businesses feeling the impact of the surge in energy prices that have soared to record highs.”

Oilprice.com weighed in as well,

In a somber speech last week, French President Emmanuel Macron warned that France has come to the end of its “era of abundance” and said hard times are ahead.

The Prime Minister of Belgium has said that Europe will have five difficult winters in the coming years due to an energy shortage with no short-term solution

While European gas storage is filling up ahead of schedule and it may be able to survive the coming winter, the suffering is far from over for the continent.

The White House has taken notice, yet despite their so-called focus and efforts to alleviate this mess, they have rammed through their “green new deal,” ironically called the “Inflation Reduction Act”, which will only make things worse.

“We’re concerned about potential energy shortages in Europe as the winter approaches,” National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said Monday. “This is something we’re going to stay focused on as the fall turns to winter, and we’ll be latched up with allies and partners to try to do what we can to alleviate any shortages coming through.”

Europe is paying the price for their leaders listening to climate scolds including Al Gore, Prince Charles, and the petulant Swedish teen Greta Thunberg. Trying to outwoke each other, Europe made the decision to “go green”, thinking they could redefine the laws of physics and nature.

What followed was predictable. As Fox Business reported,

Experts blame green energy policies for Europe’s full-scale energy crisis: ‘A warning to the US’

‘There’s been under-investment in fossil fuels in Europe,’ an analyst from research firm Rystad Energy tells FOX Business

Elon Musk was blunter in his assessment saying, “Civilization will crumble” without oil and gas. Is the “crumbling civilization” a bug or a feature of the West’s green energy push?

Now we have Germans collecting firewood to heat their homes, much as they did centuries ago. And Poles waiting on days long lines for coal for necessary heat during the chilly upcoming winter. Elderly Poles might recall stories from their grandparents doing this a hundred years ago. It seems that what was old is now new. Europe is not jumping into the future but sliding into the abyss of the past.

Germany, following energy guidance from Greta and Prince Charles, decided to ditch clean and reliable nuclear energy in favor of polluting the air by burning firewood. That’s what passes for environmental progress these days. The US Office of Nuclear Energy correctly notes,

Nuclear energy protects air quality. Nuclear is a zero-emission clean energy source. Nuclear energy’s land footprint is small.

Despite producing massive amounts of carbon-free power, nuclear energy produces more electricity on less land than any other clean-air source.

Nuclear energy produces minimal waste. Nuclear fuel is extremely dense.

In its effort to go green, Germany is ditching clean nuclear energy in favor of a dirtier alternative, firewood. But realizing the folly of their ways as well as their dependence on Russian energy, they are rethinking their original plan to shutter all of their nuclear power plants and are considering keeping three plants on line, rather than closing them at the end of this year as planned. The thought of “a long cold lonely winter” is waking the woke German leadership.

Sanctions against Russian energy over the Ukraine war aren’t helping matters. Russia is laughing all the way to the bank, with myriad other customers for her massive energy resources, while Europe is paving the way to a long cold lonely winter.

If Europeans want to escape to a warmer locale during their chilly winter, even that will cost more. Bloomberg reported, “Aviation fuel prices rising more than twice as fast as oil. Russia’s gas curbs have contributed to scarcity of jet fuel.” It seems those Russian sanctions imposed by the virtue signaling West are only hurting the West and not Russia.

President Trump warned the Germans of their folly of energy policy in a UN speech four years ago. As Tucker Carlson reviewed in a recent monologue, Trump cautioned, “Germany will become totally dependent on Russian energy if it does not immediately change course.” The German delegation laughed at the orange haired rube, but come winter, they may be shivering rather than laughing.

Will America observe and learn from European folly or follow the same energy foolish path? In my state of Colorado, we are following the latter pathway.

22,000 Colorado homes lost control of their thermostats last week as Denver 7 News reported,

During the dog days of summer, it’s important to keep your home cool. But when thousands of Xcel customers in Colorado tried adjusting their thermostats Tuesday, they learned they had no control over the temperatures in their own homes.

This wasn’t a price hike in one’s electricity bill but the electric utility simply turning off the air conditioning during the 90-degree day citing an “energy emergency”. Should Europe and America expect more of the same during the last days of summer and again in winter? What if Coloradans lose control of their thermostats during a 10-degree winter day? What can go wrong when the government controls energy?

Summer heat is annoying, but winter cold is deadly. A study published in The Lancet found, “Cold weather is 20 times as deadly as hot weather.” This report reinforced up a U.S. study from the National Center for Health Statistics, which found that, “cold kills more than twice as many Americans as heat.”

Do we have idiots in charge or is this part of a coordinated effort toward a “great reset”?

These two Newsweek headlines suggest idiocy. On August 25, “As California bans new gas car sales by 2035, which states could be next?” Six days later, on August 31, Newsweek, without a bit of irony, ran this headline, “Californians told not to charge electric cars days after gas car sales ban.”

California currently has 18 million registered automobiles, with 13 percent plug in electric. California can’t charge 2 million of its cars during hot or cold weather. How will this work when there are 18 or 20 million electric vehicles? Will the media ask? Will Democrats answer?

While Europe and other developed countries tilt at windmills, everyone should bundle up and collect firewood as they prepare for a long cold lonely winter.

Demographic decline and disintegration: Europe’s fate

by Giulio Meotti

“Our civilizations know they are mortal” (Paul Valéry, Cahiers)

From the Indo-European invasions (3rd millennium BCE) to the second half of the 20th century, the European population did not undergo demographic changes. Since 1974, in contrast, Western Europe has welcomed an Islamic immigration unprecedented in history and in the rest of the world. This change occurred at the same time as the fertility of European women plummeted below the essential threshold for generational turnover (2,1). Today in Europe there are 1.5 children per woman, which implies a division by three in the number of births in a century. In some regions (northern Italy, eastern Germany, Spain, Greece, eastern Europe) couples have on average only one child, a halving of the population over a lifetime.

“The collapse of the birth rate is a much greater risk than the global warming to civilization,” wrote that contrarian Elon Musk recently. “The child crisis is a big problem,” the 51-year-old businessman told reporters in Stavanger, southwestern Norway. “It is important that people have enough children to keep civilization going. It is said that civilization could disappear with a crash or a groan. If we don’t have enough babies, we will die moaning (wearing) adult diapers. It will be depressing. “

James Pomeroy, economist at HSBC, in a study published on August 22 and released by Les Echos, reveals that in Europe “at the rate at which things are going, the population will have halved by 2070, with the continent at risk of losing 400 million inhabitants by 2100”. France will have 62.3 million inhabitants and Germany 70.3 million. Why won’t there be a collapse?

In France today 29.6 percent of the population aged 0 to 4 is of non-European origin compared to 17.1 percent aged 18 to 24, 18.8 percent aged 40 to 44, and 7, 6 per cent aged 60-64 and 3.1 per cent over 80. This has been revealed in recent days by Insee, the French statistics institute, which examined the last three generations. 16.2 percent of all children between the ages of 0 and 4 in France are children or grandchildren of Maghrebi origin, 7.3 percent are from the rest of Africa and 4 percent are from Asia.

For now, there are only a few French cities with an Islamic majority. Le Monde Diplomatiquetold of Roubaix with a Muslim majority. Le Figaro di Sevran, 50,000 inhabitants, 90 per cent foreign, where neighborhoods like Épeule are already Muslim-majority. Marseille, the second largest city in the country, as early as 2011 the George Soros Open Society Foundation, which provides financial support for immigration to Western countries, revealed “that between 30 and 40 percent of the population is Muslim “. It goes without saying that it is natural to think that the symbolic threshold of 50 percent has already been exceeded, even if there are no studies on this.

The monthly Causeur also wrote about it: “Well over 50 per cent of the Marseille population is North African and black African”. In the 1960s, the second largest city in France was still Provençal, Italian, Armenian and pied-noir. It was only in the 1970s that the invasion took place slowly and inexorably and that Marseille lost more of its “Europeanity” every year.

If this continues, in a generation (30-40 years) all of France will be Islamic.

The data shows that the most profound changes are occurring in urban areas, with people of European descent set to become a minority. Eric Zemmour says that France in a generation “will be a great Lebanon”.

“The proportion of people aged 0-18 born to two non-European parents is exploding in urban areas. A historical demographic change ”, headlines the French monthly Causeur, directed by Elisabeth Lévy, citing a study by France Stratégie, an organization linked to the Prime Minister and set up by Francois Hollande.

Urban areas with more than 100,000 inhabitants. These range from La Courneuve, where 75 per cent between 0-18 years were born to non-EU immigrants, to Villetaneuse (73 per cent), Clichy-sous-Bois (72 per cent), Aubervillie (70 per cent) and Pierrefitte- sur-Seine (69 percent) and many districts of Paris (50 percent in the 19th arrondissement, 43 percent in the 18th arrondissement, 42 percent in the 20th arrondissement and 41 percent in the 13th arrondissement). Even in cities less affected by immigration, such as Rennes, the percentage has tripled in just twenty years (from 7.7 to 22.8 percent).

“In general throughout France “the number of births with at least one foreign parent increased by 63.6 percent, the number of births with both foreign parents increased by 43 percent and the number of births with both French parents it decreased by 13.7 per cent”. The study also explains that immigrant women have a fertility rate of 2.73 children, against 1.9 for the French natives. The contrast is even more marked if we think of the 3.6 children for the Algerian immigrants, 3.5 children for the Tunisian immigrants, 3.4 children for the Moroccan immigrants and 3.1 children for the Turkish immigrants, data also higher than their fertility in the countries of origin …”

Within a generation, Europe will therefore be unrecognizable. Europeans are increasingly aware that the identity of their own civilization is threatened above all by an irresponsible libertarianism, an ideology which, under the pretext of freedom, wants to deconstruct all the bonds that unite man to his family, roots, history, religion, nation, freedom.

This was also foreseen by Boutros Boutros-Ghali, the former UN secretary general, an Egyptian Coptic who knew Islam well, who on 22 May 2007 outlined this vision of the future of Europe: “The unprecedented collapse of the population of Europe and its accelerated aging contrast with the still very rapid population increase in the southern and eastern Mediterranean. This will result in very acute imbalances! From a strictly quantitative point of view, immigration would be a solution. But we cannot treat the question as a problem of communicating vessels. Immigration without precaution risks imploding Western societies at the cost of very serious problems (culture shock, neo-colonial structures, unemployment, etc.) “.

It is not yet understood why, instead of being replaced by immigration that will forever change the culture and religion of Europe, we have not invested in our birth rate. Recent news that the member countries of the European Union issued 2,952,300 residence permits to non-Europeans in 2021, a 31 percent increase compared to 2020, Eurostat reveals. Italy recorded the largest increase, from 105,700 to 274,100 permits in 2021, a record 159 percent.

When a foreign traveler visits Israel in fifty years, he will find a country of 15 million inhabitants, 6 million more than today. But if the same traveler, after stopping in Tel Aviv, catches a flight to Rome, what will he find? Emilia-Romagna and Lombardy will be destined to lose 8.2 and 8.5 percent of their current population (the population will be replenished by foreigners who will win registration in the municipal registers). Veneto, Tuscany, Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Lazio will lose 10 to 20 percent of the population. From 20 to 30 percent the collapse of Piedmont, Liguria, Valle d’Aosta, Marche, Umbria, Abruzzo and Campania; from 30 to 40 percent the massacres in Sicily, Calabria, Puglia, Molise and Sardinia; finally, Basilicata will lose over 40 percent of its population.

But if fifty years seems too distant a period of time, what about 2030? There will be 500,000 fewer Italian children in school, which corresponds to the closure of 25,000 classes. Just open the local news and see how many nurseries have been transformed into retirement homes for the elderly.

Italy will reach 2070 with a population of 47.6 million – 12.1 million less than the year 2020 from which the forecasts start. After then, save those who can and in the presence of a migratory balance with foreign countries which, according to Istat, shows no decline between 2021 (+141 thousand) and 2070 (+118 thousand) and which involves a total credit balance for the next fifty years of 6.5 million foreigners.

In 2050, a third of the Italian population will be composed of foreigners, according to a United Nations report entitled “Replacement migrations: a solution for declining and aging populations”. So doing a bit of math, we discover that over 13 million foreigners will have joined the Italian population since the 1980s by 2070. It will be a cultural melting pot that will explode into cultural and social tensions. We already see them at work, here and there, throughout Europe. Just open the foreign newspapers.

In addition to the loss of 12.1 million, children and young people up to the age of 14 go from 7.7 to 5.5 million, with a contraction of 2.2 million or 29 percent, while the elderly aged 65 and over will pass from 13.9 to 16.3 million, an increase of 2.4 million or 18 percent. Three seniors for each child and boy.

“Italians beware: if you no longer have children, your civilization will commit suicide within a few decades”. On the pages of Le Monde twenty years ago, the scholar Henri Mendras launched this warning expressing astonishment: the inhabitants of the Peninsula “do not seem to take seriously the danger that threatens them”. Going forward at the same pace, the population of Italy will reduce from 60 to 40 million in 2050. “No people can endure such a traumatic event. And the general equilibrium of Europe would be shaken ”, Mendras argues in his essay published by the Parisian newspaper and invites Italian girls to“ resume the role and function of their mothers ”. Otherwise, goodbye Italian civilization: “it will do hara-kiri, it will disappear. And it would be an irreparable and catastrophic loss, for the friends of Italy and for the whole world ”.

The American essayist Rod Dreher is right when this week then suggests re-reading Joseph Roth’s “The March of Radetzky”. In this masterpiece of literature there is the best portrait of a Europe that sank without remission into a tide of ideological materialism and leveling desecration. We know of no other text that portrays the self-destructive masochism of old Europe with more musical levity. Roth recounts an atmosphere of muffled and soporific well-being of those rooms isolated from the world with double windows, wooden walls, heavy velvet curtains, where the culture of Europe was harboring ideas that had to bear fruit, some brilliant, others terrifying.

Roth tells of an increasingly setting sun and the last sweetness of a day that by now had nothing more to give. Europe committing suicide.

India: Muslim booked for forcing a Hindu woman to marry and convert to Islam, had threatened her of murder and acid attack

Accused Mansoori holding gun to threaten the victim (Source- Dainik Bhasker)

On Monday, the Madhya Pradesh Police registered a complaint against a person named Janbaaz Mansoori alias Monu for forcing a Hindu woman to marry and convert to Islam. The police registered an FIR based on a complaint of the woman who alleged that the accused had been harassing her for a long time and had now started sending her threatening messages.

According to the reports, the victim girl is a student of a nursing college and the incident is said to have happened in the Indira Circle area of Ashapur, Khandwa, Madha Pradesh. The accused had been harassing her and threatening her to convert to Islam. He recently sent her some pictures of him in which he was seen holding a gun.

The girl decided to register a complaint on September 5 after the accused blocked her way to home and showered her with flower petals. He asked the girl to marry him and accept Islam as her new religion. The girl in the complaint said that the accused also forcefully made her sit on his bike and drove the vehicle at full speed. The girl who got scared jumped off the bike and called for help.

Several people from the locality then gathered around the girl after she jumped off the bike. They also tried to trap Mansoori who till then had fled from the spot. Several members of the Hindu organization also reached the spot and helped the girl to reach the Police.

She informed the Hindu organizations and the Police that she was a first-year student in a private nursing college in the city. On September 5, at 3 pm, while she was on her way home in Ashapur, Mansoori who is a resident of the same village blocked her way, showered flowers on her, and asked her for marriage. “He also asked me to convert my religion”, the girl reiterated.

According to the victim, Mansoori has been following her for the past one year. She said that the accused had made several similar attempts to harass her earlier when she was studying at Harsud College in the city. The accused then also blocked her way and pressurized her to get married to him. However, the matter was settled after the girl informed her about the incident to her family who later complained to Masoori’s family members.

However, the boy continued to harass the victim and managed to get her phone number this time. He began sending her threatening messages and his pictures with a gun. “Get married or else I will kill your whole family. Convert to religion or else I will shoot you”, the threatening messages read.

The girl also mentioned that the accused had threatened her to destroy her face with acid if she refused to marry and convert to Islam. A complaint has been registered by the Police against Mansoori. Further investigations in the case are underway.

Italy: Salvini calls for EU to ‘rethink’ sanctions on Russia or compensate Italians for higher energy bills

Matteo Salvini has urged Western governments to “rethink” the sanctions imposed on Russian energy as Europe enters the fall with record-high wholesale energy prices and limited supply.

The former Italian interior minister and current League party leader offered his remarks at a conference of political leaders on Sunday at Lake Como. He suggested that the EU reconsider its response to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

“Do we have to defend Ukraine? Yes,” Salvini said. “But I would not want the sanctions to harm those who impose them more than those who are hit by them.”

His comments echo a similar sentiment offered by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán who, along with his Fidesz colleagues, have frequently vowed to protect Hungarian consumers and warned Europe that cutting off its nose to spite its face may be counter-intuitive.

“Several months have passed, and people are paying two, three, even four times more for their bills,” he later told listeners of RTL radio. “And after seven months, the war continues and Russian Federation coffers are filling with money.”

Salvini’s League party are part of a right-wing alliance expected to win a majority in the forthcoming Italian general election on Sept. 25, although Giorgia Meloni’s Brothers of Italy (FdI) are expected to be the largest party in the coalition, which would see her become Italy’s first female prime minister.

The League leader stopped short, however, of pledging to defy EU solidarity and withdrawing sanctions if his party gets into power later this month.

“If we get into government, will we change alliances? No. We remain deeply, proudly, and firmly rooted in a free and democratic West that opposes war and aggression,” Salvini said. “But if we adopt an instrument to hurt the aggressor and after seven months of war it has not been hurt, at least considering a change seems legitimate to me.”

He instead suggested that the European Union compensate Italians and “cover the extra bills that households are footing; otherwise, we risk losing a million jobs in September.”

Reuters reported on Sunday that Italy’s net energy import costs are set to more than double this year to €100 billion — in 2021, its net import costs for energy were €43 billion.

While the Italian government has introduced measures to mitigate the effect the hike in energy prices is having on Italian consumers through €52 billion worth of aid packages, Economy Minister Daniele Franco said on Sunday that such intervention cannot continue indefinitely.

“To keep offsetting, at least in part, rising energy prices through public finances is very costly, and we could never do enough.

“What matters is to bring the price of gas and energy back to sustainable levels,” he added.

Traffic chaos in Vienna due to blackout

Several traffic lights in the Austrian capital Vienna stopped functioning due to a power outage, police reported.

The busy area around the Vienna Gürtel was particularly affected. According to the Vienna police, there were considerable traffic disruptions there. The districts of Josefstadt, Alsergrund, Währing and Döbling were affected by the power failure.

In the meantime, the problem has been solved and all traffic lights are working again. Whether this is related to the financial problems of Wien Energie cannot be ruled out.

A celebratory moment: driving home and hearing about Chile

By Silvio Canto, Jr.

Sunday evening and it was pouring rain in Central Texas, but the news on the radio was a joy. Down in Chile, the people rejected a leftist constitution:

Chileans resoundingly rejected a new constitution to replace a charter imposed by the dictatorship of Gen. Augusto Pinochet 41 years ago. The vote dealt a stinging setback to President Gabriel Boric, who argued the document would have ushered in a progressive era.

With 96% of the votes counted in Sunday’s plebiscite, the rejection camp had 61.9% support compared to 38.1% for approval amid what appeared to be a heavy turnout with long lines at polling states. Voting was mandatory.

The approval camp conceded defeat, with its spokesman VladoMirosevic saying: “We recognize this result and we listen with humility to what the Chilean people have expressed.”

Well, Chileans said “no” in big numbers.

Yes, Pinochet‘s constitution, as the left calls it, could be improved, but this new document was more about transforming the country rather than anything else. It was an excuse to make Chile “more woke,” and the locals saw through the farce. The proposed constitution was about gender parity and climate change. In the end, Chileans said no! No! NO!

Late last night, I called my good friend in Chile, and his home was in a festive mood. They were happy and said what a lot of Chileans were saying: “We didn’t vote for communism.” Indeed not. President Boric benefited from a weak conservative opponent and anger over COVID. He misread public opinion and got slapped by voters who do not want to destroy their economic success story.

Is President Petro of Colombia listening? He also defeated a weak conservative candidate in a close election dominated by anger over COVID. He wants big changes, too, but he has no mandate for that, as his “amigo” Boric learned on Sunday.

Thank you, Chile.

P.S. Check out my videos and posts.

Germany needs permanent border controls with Czechia to stem migrant crisis, says head of German police unions

Without the introduction of permanent German controls on the border with the Czech Republic, it will be practically impossible to stop the flow of migrants who are now heading to Germany via this route, said Heiko Teggatz, head of the German police union, during an interview with Bild newspaper on Monday.

He added that the best solution would be cooperation with Prague, which would introduce similar border controls with Slovakia.

In the interview, Teggatz said that the drastic increase in the number of migrants entering Germany without the necessary documents is the highest since 2015. Europe then faced an unprecedented influx of refugees and migrants, who came mainly from Syria and Iraq.

Police unions state that in June of this year, the federal police recorded 2,000 such cases of illegal border-crossings from the Czech Republic to Germany — an increase of 140 percent in a year-over-year comparison. In a press statement, the unions noted that in August, there were already 3,000 cases alone on the Saxon-Czech border.

Teggatz also said that smugglers created new smuggling routes from the Balkans that now lead to Germany via Slovakia and Czechia.

“This is related to the fact that Austria has tightened border controls with Hungary, as until now the migration flow has been through Austria and Hungary,” said Teggatz, according to which moving the route to Slovakia and Czechia is obvious.

According to Teggatz, Minister of the Interior Nancy Faeser should immediately order stationary border controls with the Czech Republic, as Germany has been carrying out checks at the border with Austria for a long time due to the migration crisis.

“With strict checks on the German-Czech border and the introduction of checks on the Czech-Slovak border by the Czech Republic, this flow to Europe could be stopped, as we have been doing for years on the Austrian border,” pointed out the head of the German police union.

When asked whether Czechia could take any measures to avoid checks on the German-Czech border, Teggatz replied that, in his opinion, it would be difficult.

“It would be demanding because I know the course of the border between the Czech Republic and Slovakia, which runs through the forests,” he explained.

The union chief stated that even the increased deployment of the Czech police on the border with Slovakia would probably not stop the flow of migration to Germany.

He, therefore, sees a solution in cooperation between Berlin and Prague, which would mean checks on the German-Czech and the Czech-Slovak border. He described the relationship between the German Federal and Czech police as excellent.

“I can speak from my own experience. I served on the German-Czech border for five years in the early nineties,” Teggatz said.

Prague: 100 000 citizens protest against government’s energy policy

Mass demo against sanctions in the Czech capital Prague. Screenshot from Twitter

In the Czech capital of Prague up to 100 000 people demonstrated on Saturday against the government policy, which has been leading to skyrocketing energy prices and an impending energy emergency in the Czech Republic. Immediately prior to this, there had already been a motion of no confidence in the government under Prime Minister Fiala in the Czech parliament.

In Prague, as in many European capitals, the government refused to see the protests as a political warning signal, but tried to blame Russian “trolls” for the increasingly irritable mood among the population. Another indication of the development in the country is the fact that a broad alliance of conservatives, right-wingers and communists called for the large rally on Saturday.

In the Czech Republic, the very existence of industry is threatened due to the lack of Russian gas supplies. Despite this, the government fully supports the EU’s sanctions course – and, needless to say, is now feeling the consequences.

The government is pretending to see Russian machinations behind the protests: “It is clear that Russian propaganda and disinformation campaigns repeatedly appear on our territory, and some simply succumb to them,” Prime Minister Fiala declared. Interior Minister Rakušan also saw “Putin” behind the protest: “Dividing society is one of the goals of the hybrid warfare we are dealing with. We can’t let him do that. That is why we are working on solutions that will reduce people’s fears about the future.”

According to the ideas of the organizers of the rally, every Czech household should be entitled to three megawatt hours of free electricity. In addition, one of the demands of the alliance was that its representatives should be authorized to conclude energy supply contracts.

“We’re taking our country back,” they said at the beginning of the three-hour rally. The call for this also included military neutrality and the loss of sovereignty to supranational structures. “The Czech Republic must free itself from direct political subordination to the EU, the WHO and the UN,” it said.

But that’s not all: “If the government doesn’t resign by September 25,” the organizers say, “in accordance with the Czech Republic’s constitution, we will declare the right to protest at a nationwide demonstration and announce measures to force the resignation. We are already negotiating with unions, companies, farmers, mayors, transport companies and other organizations to declare a strike,” they warned.

The same scenario that is also possible in Germany. It was not for nothing that Federal Foreign Minister Baerbock warned of “popular uprisings” in the autumn.

In Leipzig left and right unite

The “Hot Autumn” proclaimed by the Left Party was reflected at least in the temperatures as the thermometer rose to 25 degrees on Monday evening in Leipzig’s historic city center. Both left-wing and right-wing parties and alliances have called for rallies at this historic site, based on the Monday demonstrations of 1989/90.

A total of 10 000 participants were expected, but in the end, Augustusplatz was flooded with people. The federal government had presented its new relief package on Sunday to absorb the economic consequences of the sanctions policy against Russia – and to prevent protests like this Monday evening.

The Federal Chair of the Left Party, Janine Wissler, recently expressed doubts on Deutschlandfunk that measures like these could alleviate the displeasure of the population. And the politician defended herself against accusations that her party also offered a platform to “right-wing ideologues” during the Monday demonstrations.

Leipzig’s Greens, for example, recently complained that the Left Party was “damaging Leipzig’s historical heritage” and thwarting “the commitment of Leipzig’s city society for democracy and cosmopolitanism and against right-wing marches in the heart of the city”. Wissler countered that social protests were needed against the “dramatic injustice” in the country. “We will not let the right take the high road. Not on Mondays and not on any other day either.”

Thousands of Germans in Magdeburg also opposed Olaf Scholz’s irrational policy by shouting: “Nord Stream! Nord Stream!” EU sanctions were supposed to weaken Russia’s economy, instead they are destroying Europe’s economy.

Media blackout in France regarding anti-Macron protests

“I almost fell off my chair!” said Florian Philippot leader of the political party Les Patriotes. Philippot commented on the fact that news outlet LCI fraudulently reported that the demonstration on Saturday in Paris against Macron’s harsh energy policy “did not take place”.  LCI further claimed that they were only “fake images” of the protests and “hijacking by Russian television”.

Philippot accused the outlet of lying. “It did take place. There were people there. LCI was informed and invited.”

Macron’s energy repression is the fourth threat that comes on top of the jihadist threat, the police threat (which hovers over the Yellow Vests), and the health threat, said his critics.

“The ecologists who applaud this deindustrialization do not understand that the destructive neoliberalism of the Great Reset is advancing behind a green mask. Even if it is true that overfishing is destroying the seabed and fish stocks, the climate crisis is a sham. The programmed destruction of production in Europe by Schwab and his friends leads inexorably to mass unemployment, impoverishment of the middle class and the extinction of our countries,” noted a critic of the French administration.

“The parasitic system is ready to destroy the societies that host it in order to survive.”
