Austria’s record influx of illegal immigrants could swing presidential election to the right

Austria’s government is under pressure to tackle its border crisis after 3,000 illegal immigrants entered the country this week, a new record that already surpassed a fresh record reached in the first week of September this year. The new migrant crisis, which is dominating headlines in Austria, is now posing a challenge to the pro-refugee president, Alexander van der Bellen, who is running for reelection on Oct. 9.

Austria has faced a massive influx of refugees this year, registering 47,000 people crossing into the country, which is up from 19,000 in 2021. Most of these illegal immigrants are from the Middle East and Asia, including AfghanistanPakistan, and India. With polling consistently showing that Austrians are opposed to mass immigration, and with the memory of horrific gang rapes and terrorist attacks committed by foreigners still fresh in the country’s mind, the population may second-guess awarding van der Bellen with the presidency once again.

With 3,000 illegal immigrants crossing Austria’s border in just one week, there are warnings that the country may see 100,000 new arrivals this year.

“The bad records follow one another every week, but that still does not seem to incite the current interior minister, Gerhard Karner, to act,” said Hannes Amesbauer, security spokesman for the conservative Freedom Party (FPÖ) party, who warned against “100,000 illegal refugees.”

Austria is already facing massive integration problems. One in four people in Austria have foreign origins, and when it comes to schools, kindergartens, hospitals, and housing, the country is under increasing pressure. In addition, Austrians prisons are already overburdened, with 50 percent of all prisoners of foreign origin while this demographic group making up 21 percent of the Austrian population. In addition, 30 percent of all welfare recipients in the country are also of foreign origin. However, those numbers can be misleading, as many of the foreigners are of European origin, such as Germans and Italians. The reality is that Africans, Asians and Middle Easterners make up an even smaller portion of foreigners, yet these are the groups that are most likely to commit a crime in the country and be imprisoned.

Migration a major theme in Austria politics

The social-democratic SPÖ party, currently a member of the opposition, has also criticized the government’s response.

“The interior minister is completely overwhelmed by the asylum programs,” the party claimed, noting an inability to seek “reasonable” international solutions.

The issue of illegal migration has dominated Austrian politics for years, however, the FPÖ has been most adamant about tackling the issue, with the most restrictive immigration policies being implemented by the previous FPÖ interior minister, Herbert Kickl.

Currently, van der Bellen is polling at 45 percent, and the FPÖ presidential candidate, Walter Rosenkranz, is far behind at 18 percent. However, if van der Bellen fails to break 50 percent in the first round, he would likely face Rosenkranz, at which point it could be a much tighter race. In 2016, FPÖ’s candidate for president nearly won in the second round.

The FPÖ warned in 2020 that there are serious expenditures being allocated to integrating foreigners, and with inflation biting into Austrian’s pocketbooks, the conservative party is working to further highlight this issue in 2022. The party stated in Austria’s National Council that the provision and care of “uninvited foreigners” is a burden on the budget in various areas and devours “huge sums” of the state’s money, according to Austrian newspaper Vol.at

Kickl, the former interior minister, said social transfers to foreigners in the country amount to €2 billion in expenditures from basic care to family benefits, including integration, social assistance, health care, labor market policy, and education.

Dutch D66 party bashes referendums in Ukrainian regions on joining Russia

In the liberated parts of Ukraine’s Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions, referendums will soon be held among residents on whether their region should join Russia. This will take place between 23 and 27 September, according to Russian media.

Calls for a referendum in the regions have been growing. Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov said on Tuesday that it is up to the regions themselves to decide whether they want to hold a referendum.

Russian former president Dmitry Medvedev called it “essential” to organise a referendum so that the regions are able to join Russia if they wish to do so.

More weapons

The Dutch leftwing D66 has reacted furiously to the plans. “Russia is going to hold referendums in the occupied territories of Ukraine. The only answer to this can be to reject these referendums outright, strengthen sanctions and send more weapons to Ukraine,” MP Sjoerd Sjoerdsma (D66) angrily responded.

His fury was met with disdain from other political figures. “Help me out. Referendums are democratic instruments. Surely democracy is what we ourselves are always forcibly peddling in distant countries because we think it is so important? And if those people vote for liberation, shouldn’t we be grateful to Russia in particular?” asked Patrick Savalle.

Journalist Joost Niemoller dryly added: “Referendums. D66’s answer: weapons.”

The previous cabinet, which included D66, had cancelled referendums in the Netherlands. They “did not bring about what was expected of them,” according to the lesbian D66 member and Minister of Defence Kajsa Ollongren.

According to her, a referendum only caused “confusion”. Voters said “no” in the Ukraine referendum in 2016, yet the cooperation treaty with Ukraine came about. The referendum on the new intelligence law also saw a majority voting against it. Despite this, the law simply came into force.

D66 party leader Jan Paternotte also chimed in. “Putin is losing, opting for further escalation. By annexing parts of Ukraine and forcing tens of thousands of Russians to go to war. We will not abandon Ukraine. So: toughen sanctions and provide more arms support so Ukraine can continue to fight for its freedom.”

Paternotte was also showered with criticism. “Downside is that you have to push the climate agenda to the year 2030 with a nuclear bomb,” real estate entrepreneur Erik de Vlieger remarked.

“Yes, blame ‘the war’. But when the Russians invaded Budapest (1956) and Prague (1968) and built a wall right through Berlin (1961), did we also get record inflation, housing shortages and a nitrogen crisis?” historian and publicist Roelof Bouwman wanted to know.

Brigitte Antolini, FVD group chair in Haarlemmermeer, told Paternotte: “Hypocritical! Now suddenly it’s all about freedom?”

46 Somalis Charged in $250 Million COVID Fraud

There are some frauds so massively insane that Americans won’t do them. Someone has to.

covered this story back in the winter, relying on the important work of local reporters like Bill Glahn at the American Experiment. The story is mindblowing for the sheer scale of the fraud.

In 2019, Feeding Our Future distributed $3.4 million in taxpayer food aid funds to the non-profits it was sponsoring, In 2020, that shot up to $42 million and then up to $197 million in 2021.

These were impressive numbers for a charity that seemed to focus on Somalis in Minnesota.

Glahn in American Experiment found that, “Feeding Our Future had 312 authorized sites for the program, approved for a maximum of 126,000 children.” That’s a lot of hungry Somali kids.

And I really mean impressive.

Safari Restaurant, which boasts “traditional Somali cuisine” like french fries and safari chicken quesadilla, where Rep. Ilhan Omar had celebrated her victory party, applied to participate in the Federal Child Nutrition program.

When the money was denied, Feeding Our Future complained that “minority-owned businesses serving almost exclusively economically disadvantaged children of color” were being denied the right to serve “culturally relevant foods” to “youth” during a “national emergency”.

Crying racism worked and at its peak, Safari claimed to be feeding 6,000 children a day. That’s a lot of children. Documents note that the Somali eatery claimed to be serving a comparable number of meals to “the entire St. Paul public school district.”

Safari was just one of the many providers who claimed to be feeding thousands of children.

There’s an Ilhan Omar angle and a Mecca angle.

The Feds staked out various Feeding Our Future meal sites and found no one at the places that were supposed to be feeding 50,000 children. According to the FBI, the money being stolen wasn’t used to feed children, it went into various shell companies and fronts operated by Somalis and was used to buy everything from a Porsche to African properties.

According to the Twin Cities Pioneer Press, S&S Catering led by Qamar Ahmed Hassan received $13.8 million in federal funds. The FBI warrants note that, “Qamar Ahmed Hassan wrote approximately $27,000 in checks from S&S Catering bank accounts… to Amax Travel, a travel agency that specializes in Haji travel packages.”

Now the official federal indictments of 47 people are in: 46 of them Somalis.

The Department of Justice announced today federal criminal charges against 47 defendants for their alleged roles in a $250 million fraud scheme that exploited a federally-funded child nutrition program during the COVID-19 pandemic.

A key element in the fraud was crying racism. Some politicians came forward to back them up. And there are questions as to what extent politicians, especially those catering to Somalis, helped enable it.

The accused Somalis donated to a variety of politicians, including Rep. Ilhan Omar, State Senator Omar Fateh, Shukri Olow, running for state representative, State Rep. Hodan Hassan, a Keith Ellison crony, and others.

Rep. Ilhan Omar has made government meals for children into one of her signature issues.

There’s currently no evidence of a direct question, but some serious scrutiny may be merited.

Le Pen Party Mayor Forced to Attend Wedding Under Police Protection Due to Threats

A French mayor and member of populist Marine Le Pen’s National Rally (RN) has expressed anger after requiring police protection to attend a wedding due to threats from an individual recently released from prison.

National Rally politician Julien Sanchez, the mayor of Beaucaire, denounced French “judicial laxity” on social media, claiming that he required a police escort comprising of around 15 officers in order to safely attend a recent wedding after he had received threats from an individual released from prison at the start of the summer.

“There were about fifteen police officers, including national police officers, quite simply because an individual released from prison at the beginning of the summer decided to terrorize the inhabitants of several communes of Gard and Bouches-du- Rhone,” Sanchez stated, broadcaster France Bleu reports.

According to Sanchez, the man in question has been linked to shooting a man in Tarascon and attacking several people in Nîmes, Bagnols-sur-Cèze and Beaucaire. He is even said to have fired a Kalashnikov rifle at a building occupied by a family in Beaucaire, of which one of the sons was the groom at the wedding attended by Sanchez.

“I have a question: What is Emmanuel Macron doing? What is [Justice Minister] Éric Dupont-Moretti doing? What is [Interior Minister] Gérald Darmanin doing? […] they are doing nothing. Mobilize and demand accountability from those who govern us. They are there for that, they owe us security,” he said.

Growing insecurity remains a major problem in France and has been for several years, with a 2017 survey revealing that 59 per cent of the French public do not feel safe anywhere in the country, while 69 per cent said they believed the police and gendarmerie were understaffed.

Insecurity and urban violence is so prolific across France that a letter signed by 20 former French generals and 1,000 active duty and former soldiers warned the country risks civil conflict if the government does not act against growing trends of crime and other security issues, such as Islamic extremism.

“As we can see, it is no longer time to procrastinate. Otherwise, tomorrow, the civil war will put an end to this growing chaos, and the dead, for whom you will bear responsibility, will count in the thousands,” the letter said.

Following the letter, a poll found that nearly half of the French would support the military intervening to restore security in France, even if the government of the day did not request them to do so. A further 86 per cent said they believed that French laws did not apply everywhere within French territory.

After the death of Iranian Mahsa Amini, German public broadcaster ZDF accuses critics of headscarves of racism

The death of Mahsa Amini (22) in Iran shocks the whole world. The young woman had to die because she did not fully comply with the headscarf laws of the Mullah regime.

And the German public broadcaster ZDF? Does not tolerate any criticism of the Islamic headscarf and even accuses one user of “anti-Muslim racism”!

▶︎ Under a Facebook post of the ZDF programme “ZDF heute” on Amini’s death, a user commented on the case. He expressed criticism of the headscarf: “And in our country the woke people claim that headscarf and burqa are a sign of freedom. You can be so wrong!”

Fact: In Germany, too, many Muslim women are forced to wear a headscarf.

ZDF replied: “The incident concerns the death of a woman in police custody, the circumstances of which have not yet been clarified. However, there are allegations of police violence. Her arrest took place under the relevant laws in Iran, which you justifiably criticise.”

▶︎ The arrest of Mahsa Amini thus complied with the local headscarf laws of the mullahs, according to ZDF. After all: According to the public broadcaster, this can be “justifiably criticised”.

But ZDF goes even further, defending the headscarf – accusing the user of racism: “However, transferring your criticism of the laws in Iran to the wearing of a headscarf in general ignores the context discussed here, defames headscarf wearers and reproduces anti-Muslim racism.”

▶︎ The “discussed context” in Amini’s case is the death of a young woman who did not wear her imposed headscarf “properly”. But for ZDF, a justified criticism of the headscarf in this context is a “defamation of headscarf wearers” that “reproduces anti-Muslim racism”.

Below a post by “ZDF heute”, the team of the public broadcaster comments on a user post and defends the headscarf laws of the mullahs
Photo: Source: ZDFheute/Facebook

Islamism expert Ahmad Mansour (46) told the newspaper BILD that this argumentation of the ZDF team is scandalous: “Criticism of the headscarf as a patriarchal symbol and instrument of oppression is not racist and not anti-Muslim! This is exactly the discourse that is going on in Iran and many Muslim countries right now, and it would be good to have it in Germany too.”

“Insulting or attacking women for wearing or not wearing a headscarf is racist, but the ZDF online team does not seem to be capable of this differentiation,” Mansour told BILD.

For the Berlin imam Seyran Ates (59), the reaction of ZDF is “a level of misogyny I would never have imagined in Germany”. Ates to BILD: “The only reason this woman had to die is that she didn’t want to wear a headscarf. The answer is a huge scandal full of contempt for humanity.”

Mansour is also irritated by ZDF’s attempt to relate what is happening in Iran to Germany. “Using the term ‘police violence’ in the context of Iran implies a comparison with Germany and deflects the blame onto the police, although this is a murderous, ideological regime! The police in Iran are just an instrument,” Mansour told BILD.

Background: Amini had not worn her headscarf correctly according to the strict mullah laws. A few hairs were visible, contrary to the strict regulations. She was arrested on September 13 by the morality police in Tehran, who allegedly beat her into a coma shortly afterwards. The young woman finally died on Friday.

Iranian women are massively oppressed and discriminated against, many women are currently in prison because they do not want to wear the headscarf. This makes it a serious offence in Iran.

In Mahsa Amini’s case, there is also the fact that the young woman was Kurdish. Amini’s real first name is Jina – this is forbidden in Iran because it is Kurdish. This population group has been oppressed and persecuted by the mullahs for decades, sometimes punished more severely than other citizens.

► Demonstrations have been taking place in Amini’s home region since her death. Women and men chanted “Death to the dictator” at Amini’s funeral in the city of Saghes. The Iranian police have been brutally attacking the demonstrators for days, firing with live ammunition.

At least five people have reportedly been killed and dozens injured in protests since Amini’s death.

There’s no future for Jews in an Islamized Europe

by Giulio Meotti

In Malmö, the third largest city in Sweden that has always been ruled by the Social Democrats, there is the famous spiral skyscraper designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. Inspired by a human torso, the work wants to symbolize the dozens of ethnic groups who live in cities in brotherhood in a multicultural embrace… In the 1970s, the Jewish community had five thousand members: today there are fewer than five hundred left.

Leo Kramar is a 96-year-old writer and teacher. With false documents, the Jew Leo managed to survive the Nazi deportations by escaping to South Moravia. His father and several relatives were murdered in Auschwitz. Kramar wrote a letter on the situation of Jews in Sweden reported by the major newspaper Svenska Dagbladet. Here is his letter:

“I live outside Malmö, a city with 50,000 Muslims, most of them with roots in the Middle East. We cannot ignore the situation in which the Jews find themselves here, because the synagogue has to be guarded, because the seat of the community looks like a fortress, because the Jews don’t dare go out with a kippa, because people spit on the rabbi in the street, because the Jewish teachers are harassed at school, because Malmö Jews emigrate. Since getting my head bloodied by the Communist police in February 1948, I have not suffered as much violence as in Malmö, when in a demonstration for peace in the Middle East we were pelted with stones and bottles by a roaring crowd with Palestinian flags. It is natural that Malmö’s Social Democratic majority did not stop anti-Semitism in the city. Between 80 to 90 percent of voters in areas with high immigrant density vote for Social Democrats. This is what the situation of Jews in Sweden looks like today ”.

Petter Ljunggren, a journalist who wanted to test the lives of Jews in Malmö, wore a kippa and a necklace with the Star of David. The result is a one-hour television documentary entitled “Hating the Jews in Malmö”. The reporter had to escape. He almost did not get out of it alive.

“Since the last election cycle, 2018, there have been nearly 500 attacks (including hand grenades) and countless murder stories,” Jewish-born journalist Paulina Neuding writes this week in the Spectator. “The children were hit in the crossfire. Shootings are a normal part of Swedish life and the system cannot cope. Police say there are now at least 60 immigrant neighborhoods over which they have little control. 300 officers were injured when massive riots erupted in these areas in the spring and the Swedish police chief warned of a ‘brutality we have never seen before’.

Then there is the so-called ‘honor oppression’, a barbaric shadow system that is now part of Swedish life. A study shows that already in 2017 it was feared that about 240,000 children and young people were living according to ‘family rules linked to honor’. Yet, until a few years ago, it was taboo to state the obvious: that Sweden welcomed more migrants than it would have been able to integrate ”.

The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, the German financial newspaper, reports about what the city has become: “Malmö has a population of 300,000 inhabitants, of which around 70,000 are Muslims. Almost half of Malmö’s residents are under the age of 35. An estimated 22,000 Muslims (probably more) live in the concrete blocks of the Rosengård district, built in the 1960s and 1970s with a government program worth millions of euros. The most common first name in Malmö is Muhammad. Swedes are a minority among young people up to 15 years of age.”

The costs for the Jewish community of Malmö are high: Barbara Posner, for example, pays 7,000 crowns (a good 800 euros) a year to ‘Judiska Församlingen’. A quarter hour must be spent to protect community members: over the years a security gate has been added in front of the community center, with blocked access, aluminum plates, windows that look like loopholes, cameras. Opening hours have been severely limited, access is allowed only by prior arrangement, even if the sign on the door still welcomes every visitor. The American Simon Wiesenthal Center has issued a warning to all Jews not to go to southern Sweden anymore ”. In the immigration districts of Malmö, the pro-Turkish Nyans Islamic party has just taken 20 to 30 percent of the vote.

The demographic change in a European country that has allowed itself to be submerged by extra-European immigration is rapid, often very rapid. As the French demographer Michèle Tribalat explains, “Malmö had 328,000 inhabitants as of 31 December 2016, Lessebo 8,800 on the same date. Lessebo is a town 230 kilometers northeast of Malmö. In 2002, 48 percent of children born that year in Malmö were born abroad or in Sweden to at least one parent born abroad, compared with 12 percent in Lessebo. In 2016, the percentage was 58 percent in Malmö and 57 percent in Lessebo ”. The old Lessebo no longer exists.

Essayist Gunnar Sandelin writes: “I doubt that those who lived here a generation ago would believe me when I tell them what is happening today. I should show pictures of burning police cars, chaos at school, Uddevalla square full of praying Muslims (‘Jalla, jalla – a mosque for everyone!’), Mosques and minarets, to give them an idea of the demographic change. Or we tell them that we have granted over two million residence permits in the 21st century, almost exclusively to non-Europeans, most of them men from the Middle East and Africa. In 2021, nearly a third of the population is of foreign origin. And men between 15 and 44 years old, that’s almost 40 percent ”.

“Is Sweden in danger of becoming a Muslim caliphate?”, one of the fathers of the Swedish Greens, Per Gahrton, asked in the Aftonbladet. Sweden had 8 per cent Muslims in 2016. According to the Pew Forum, by 2050 it will have 11 per cent Muslims if immigration stops completely, 21 per cent if it remains at “normal” levels and 31 per cent percent if it continues at the same pace as in recent years.

To save their skin, Jews must jump off the multicultural boat before it sinks them.
