The West collapses again under onslaught of new migrant wave, 84% increase in illegal crossings recorded

This year’s influx of refugees and economic migrants into Western Europe from the southern Mediterranean border surpasses the numbers of recent years, which were definitely reduced by the pandemic. The EU border agency Frontex reported 114,720 “irregular” arrivals in the first half of 2022. The number is highly doubtful and underestimated, as counting border violators is not simple. However, this figure represents an 84 percent increase compared to last year, and it will get worse.

According to the U.N. agency, the number of homeless people over the world has increased to 100 million. In addition, the Russian war has caused a food crisis, and even a recession in prosperous Europe will not deter young men from bankrupt states in their quest for a better life.

As usual, ItalySpain, the Balkan countries, and, surprisingly, Great Britain, are experiencing the biggest onslaught, which is now undergoing an unprecedented naval invasion. From the beginning of the year to Aug. 22, 22,557 people sailed to the U.K. from France on inflatable boats, last year 28,526 for the whole year, in 2020 only 8,404 and the year before just 1,600 people.

The figures show that this year’s illegal immigration will probably exceed 50,000 people. They come, as usual, from the countries of misery and conflict, mainly from AfghanistanSyriaIraqSomalia, Sudan, and, surprisingly, Iran, and Albania.

The composition is usual — 75 percent are men under 40, while the rest are children without documentation and women. This time, judging by the statements of the right-wing media, many English people are downright furious. Britain was not long ago a world power, and now its navy can’t send a stream of boats back to France?

Holy naivety.

The Geneva Convention on Wounded, Sick, and Shipwrecked only allows rescue and arrival. Many feel doubly cheated. They voted for Brexit, believing that Johnson’s government would at least limit immigration to the overpopulated country to those most in need, skilled workers such as nurses and doctors.

However, the ministers just stopped the immigrants from Europe and replaced them with people from the third world. In the 12 months (until the end of June), they issued 1.1 million residence visas to new arrivals, including international students, many of whom will remain in the country as usual. Today, 6.3 million foreigners work in Britain out of 32 million employees, or one-fifth.

The English case is not unusual. Across Western Europe, political elites have supported open borders for at least half a century, enabling mass immigration. Of course, they keep it a little secret, they promise to protect borders before the elections, but in the end, they always make excuses to keep the flows going or even increasing immigration.

The conventions on the status of refugees from 1951 and the Geneva Convention from 1967 were not signed vainly. The European Court of Human Rights also serves to ensure cheap labor. On June 14, it forbade the British from sending asylum seekers to a processing center in Rwanda.

More than 3,000 human rights lawyers are working in the U.K., and they routinely sue their government and thwart every attempt to deport the immigrants, even in the case of criminals. We cannot talk about deportations because most states either do not accept their immigrants back or recognize torture and the death penalty.

The new British government will not have it easy because conservative voters have long demanded a stop to mass immigration. The coming economic crisis will significantly increase their resentment. There is already debate about £3 million a day in accommodation and food costs. However, voters have no alternative as the Labour opposition openly supports immigration.

It is sad to watch the West commit suicide. A multi-ethnic society is not cohesive. It lacks the capital of the mutual trust, without which democracy does not work. Immigrants from Muslim countries have a negative attitude towards European culture and tradition, and those from broken states like Afghanistan increase the crime rate and reduce the quality of education.

Sweden, which once was the safest European country, has become one with the highest criminality. The West will not save this unhappy world, and despite all the evidence of impending disaster, almost half the European population doesn’t want to even hear about it.

Jean-Marie Le Pen regrets the ‘media absence’ of RN deputies

The former leader of the National Front, now Rassemblement National (RN), in French weekly JDD noted a certain “media absence” of RN deputies, calling on them to “react” by being “aggressive towards the authorities”.

“There is a certain media absence of the RN. Is it voluntary? It is not sure,” said Jean-Marie Le Pen, co-founder of the National Front, in an interview published online on 27 August by the JDD.

“When we refer to the right, we always hear about the Republicans, but never about the RN, which has a larger number of deputies. In politics, it is not enough to exist, you have to make it known. I find them silent. They must react”, he added.

Strategically, the former FN leader explained that these elected representatives would have something to gain by being “aggressive towards the government”.

The 89 RN deputies in the National Assembly have considerable power, he explained. “[Emmanuel Macron] is going to have to face a series of important difficulties during the second [five-year] term. And this is where an opposition formation like the RN can appear as an alternative,” he argued, recalling that “the aim of political action [was] the exercise of power”.

“The leaders who emerged from the legislative elections must be prepared for this. The 89 deputies in the National Assembly are not yet in power, but they are close,” he said. As the campaign to succeed his daughter Marine Le Pen as party leader began, Jean-Marie Le Pen said he would not choose between the two candidates, MEP Jordan Bardella and Perpignan Mayor Louis Aliot. “I will not support anyone. The members will choose. I don’t have a preference,” he insisted.

India: Five booked after a Muslim lured a married woman, her children to convert to Islam

On Sunday, the Gujarat Police booked five persons from Rajpur, Deesa over allegations of brainwashing a woman and her children to convert to Islam and forcing the woman’s husband to attempt to commit suicide. The five accused have been identified as Aijaz Shaikh, his father Mustafa Shaikh, uncles Alam Shaikh and Sattar Shaikh, and cousin Sohil Shaikh.

According to the reports, all the five accused are residents of Rajpur in Deesa and have been booked under IPC section 306 (abetment to suicide), 506 (1) (criminal intimidation), 384 (extortion), 511 (punishment for attempting to commit offenses punishable with life imprisonment) and 114 for an offense committed when abettor present.

The accused were booked based on the complaint that was filed by the brother of the victim named Rajesh Solanki. Rajesh in his complaint mentioned that his elder brother had attempted to commit suicide by consuming poison at Pataleshwar Mahadev Temple in Palanpur. The incident is said to have happened on August 27.

He said that his brother was living alone since the group of five accused had brainwashed his sister-in-law named Chandrika Solanki and children Neha and Akash and converted them to Islam. He also mentioned that the victim was since then undergoing treatment for depression at Medipolis Hospital in Palanpur.

“My niece Neha (daughter of Haresh) was studying in college two years ago when she got in touch with Aijaz Shaikh who lived in Rajpur of Deesa. He started frequenting our house and influenced Neha to the extent that she wanted to live with him. When Haresh asked Aijaz to stop frequenting his house, there was a fight between the two when Aijaz claimed that Neha was in his control. He also informed Haresh that he had pictures and videos of Neha”, a complaint by Rajesh read.

Rajesh added that the accused then began to control his sister-in-law (Harish’s wife) and Akash too. “Under the influence of Aijaz, Chandrika, Neha, and Akash started offering namaz at home and told us that they have nothing to do with Hinduism. When my brother Haresh went to Aijaz’s house in Deesa, he was told by his father Mustafa and uncles that his wife and kids have accepted Islam of their own will”, Rajesh was quoted.

Reports mention that Harish’s wife along with her children had filed a Habeas Corpus petition in the Gujarat High Court and had claimed that they were being confined illegally by Haresh. The petition was filed on June 16 this year.

“Four months ago, Aijaz took Chandrika, Neha, and Akash away. His family then prepared some legal documents and filed a Habeas Corpus petition in the Gujarat High Court claiming that they no longer wished to stay with Haresh. After the court’s order, the trio left our house due to which Haresh was left alone and fell into depression. On Sunday, he called me on my cellphone and informed me that he consumed poison at a temple in Palanpur. I reached Pataleshwar Mahadev temple where I found him unconscious and took him to hospital”, Rajesh added in his complaint.

Reportedly, the petition filed by Chandrika and her children was disposed of by the Court in July. The Court led by judge Vipul Pancholi and Rajendra Sareen stated that ‘corpora being major, they want to live in their way’.

At present, the five accused identified as Aijaz Shaikh, Mustafa Shaikh, Alam Shaikh, Sattar Shaikh, and Sohil Shaikh have been booked under the relevant sections of the IPC for instigating a man to commit suicide in Palanpur. The Police are further investigating the case.

How do climate doomsayers explain the current state of Arctic ice?

By Vijay Jayaraj

With ice coverage for July and August remaining above the ten-year average of 2010–20, the extent of summer sea ice in the Arctic has surprised experts who once predicted that such levels would be impossible.

This stands in stark contrast to the dominant climate narrative that predicts the dwindling of summer ice in the Arctic.  Some politicians had even claimed that parts of the Arctic would be ice-free by now.

With the seasonal Arctic melt technically over, it is fair to conclude that the extent of ice in the summer of 2022 has been greater than the ten-year average.  On most days in July and August, sea ice levels were above the ten-year average and significantly more than the previous few years.

The Japanese National Institute of Polar Research provides a useful visualization in the graph below.  This year’s Arctic sea ice — shown in red — is compared with the ten-year average and the levels of the previous few years, including that of 2012, when ice had reached its lowest of the period tracked.

Data of sea-ice extent in square kilometers in the Arctic Ocean from June 2002 to the present and decadal averages of 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s are included.
Source: National Institute of Polar Research,
https://ads.nipr.ac.jp/vishop/#/extent.

According to the Danish Meteorological Institute, the extent of Arctic sea ice was much greater than the last five years, as shown in the below graph.

http://ocean.dmi.dk/arctic/icecover.uk.php.

Summer temperatures in the Arctic remained at levels similar to the 44-year average of 1958–2002, with no marked increase in warming.  In the graph, temperature is shown in the Kelvin scale; the horizontal blue line is freezing, or zero degrees Celsius and 32 degrees Fahrenheit.

Now, here’s the big question: why were internationally acclaimed climate scientists unable to predict this marked increase in the extent of summer sea ice?  Is it because their overall approach is biased toward supporting the theory that carbon dioxide is warming the planet to dangerous levels?  Or is it because their models are incapable of predicting future temperatures?

The answers must come from the doomsayers themselves.  They need to explain why Arctic summer temperatures have been not at all different from the 44-year average and why summer sea ice is above decadal averages.

Acknowledging that we have yet to understand the complex climate system will undermine the credibility of scientists and political institutions advancing destructive energy policies to address a fantasy of climate catastrophe.

Melting of Arctic ice has been used as a major data point in the justification of restrictive energy policies adopted by many countries.  It is ironic — and infuriating — that millions across the world are suffering from high energy prices and blackouts at the same time that Arctic sea ice has been at its greatest extent in five years!

Europe is facing rapidly rising electricity prices and a natural gas shortage.  Citizens in the U.S. are experiencing high energy prices as their access to cheap fossil fuels is restricted by government’s infatuation with solar and wind power.  China is scampering to reduce blackouts.  All this could have been avoided if political leaders had not promoted a false climate emergency.

It makes no sense to force people to live in darkness in the name of climate policy when the policy-makers themselves have so little understanding of the planet’s mechanisms of warming and cooling.  Acknowledge the infancy of climate science and liberate people from energy tyranny.

French quadriplegic beaten into coma finally returns home from hospital after 2 years while his attackers walk free

The men who brutally beat a 21-year-old Frenchman named Lorenzo into a coma — leaving him paralyzed two years ago — are all enjoying their freedom while awaiting trial for the incident. The family has expressed outrage at the court’s decision to release the men almost immediately after the incident, with the mother calling for justice against the men who destroyed her family’s life.

“My son is a quadriplegic while his attackers are now free,” said Elise, Lorenzo’s mother, to the French newspaper Le Figaro. The family of Lorenzo sees the men enjoying life, clubbing, and at sporting events, and Elise says the pain eats away at her due to the lifelong suffering her son must now endure while her attackers enjoy their freedom.

Lorenzo and his friends were attacked on Aug. 24, 2020, in a parking lot in the southern French commune of Lattes after they attended a pool party with some other friends. Two of the attackers set their sights on Lorenzo, who was 19 at the time, brutally beating him to the point he was left in a coma for 16 days.

In this case, five people were indicted in criminal proceedings for intentional violence in an assault that resulted in permanent disability. Although the identity of the attackers remains unknown to the French public, all of them were placed under judicial supervision; three of them were initially imprisoned but then released just four days later following an interim release before the Court of Appeal, an extremely rare procedure.

This decision has haunted the family of Lorenzo for two years.

“We see them all the time; they go to nightclubs, to football matches! Judicial control is not respected at all, they live in peace while for us everything stopped on August 24, 2020. We reported it each time to the police services but nothing is happening!” said Elise and Lorenzo’s father-in-law. It is unclear what the terms of their judicial release are or whether they are violating it, however, the family still has not seen the men brought to trial two years after the incident.

“He can’t even eat, brush his teeth, go to the toilet,” his mother Élise said at the time. She and the young man’s stepfather had to stop working to take care of him, saying, “He has already had five lung infections and has almost died twice.”

Lorenzo, now 21, was released from the hospital after two years; he can now communicate that something “feels good” by sketching a thumb, which is the only manner he can speak with his family and friends.

“We had to take it all on. We had to sell our house, which we had finished paying for, because it was impossible to bring it up to standard for Lorenzo’s handicap,” says Elise. When they found a new house for five, they had to do six months of work, at their expense for the moment, and find another accommodation in the meantime, which did not accommodate Lorenzo’s situation.

Germany: Dessau craftsmen organize mass protest against war

The District Craftsmen’s Association of Anhalt Dessau-Roßlau in Germany held a mass rally on the market square in Dessau on Sunday under the motto “No arms deliveries to Ukraine! Peace instead of war!” The participants wanted to send a signal against war as well as sanctions and for peace.

On August 28, the Dessau-Roßlau District Craftsmen’s Association mobilized for a mass rally on the market square in Dessau. The motto of the event was: “No arms deliveries to Ukraine! Peace instead of war!” Above all, the sanctions packages that the EU has imposed on Russia since February 2022 were discussed. However, the organizers of the rally pointed out that the punitive measures would exacerbate the conflict, which politicians completely neglected. Furthermore, it is ignored that the sanctions harmed the citizens of Germany more than Russia.

Karl Krökel, district master craftsman from Dessau-Rosßlau, spoke at the beginning of the event. He said that artisans and citizens have grave concerns. Concerns about massive damage to the German economy, which is accompanied by mass unemployment, and worried that citizens would no longer be able to pay their gas and electricity bills and their livelihoods.

“What we are experiencing is an energy policy disaster! And the government alone is responsible for this disaster!”

Krökel therefore demanded that the government sign sensible energy contracts and not set spiraling sanctions in motion. That’s why they turned to the public in an open letter. In this, the craftsmen noted that the Ukraine conflict could not be solved militarily. Despite the sanctions, Russia continues to benefit from the sale of oil and gas. For example, private refineries in India, which buy cheap oil from Russia, supply the world market with oil, “while the PCK refinery in Schwedt is on the brink of collapse”.

According to Krökel, the government destroyed the energy supply for the population and the economy. The consequences of the sanctions and the Ukraine war are burdening citizens with immense inflation, explained Krökel.

“We were deliberately placed in an energy emergency. There was no impact assessment of the consequences of unilaterally cutting off all energy supplies from Russia.”

Sanctions should not harm Germans

However, the federal government is in no way obliged to enforce sanctions that harm its own population. However, this means that the interests of other countries are valued more highly than those of their own people.

“How is it possible for elderly citizens in homes or at home to be prepared to be cold in the coming winter?”

For example, those craftsmen who ask themselves whether arms deliveries to Ukraine would only prolong the war, are defamed as a “Putin’s friend” who slavishly follows the “Russian narrative”. A respectful discourse was no longer possible.

“You have to reproach this federal government with all severity for saying in March: ‘No problem, we are prepared for everything. No matter what Mr. Putin tries, the [gas] supply is secured.’ That’s clearly not the case. People are afraid in this country and that can’t be right.”

Double standards
Reiner Braun, President of the International Permanent Peace Bureau, called for peace in Ukraine and peace worldwide. Citizens who are committed to peace, however, need courage, because everyone who is working towards peace will end up being defamed.

“What kind of madness are we living in? We’re waging an economic war against Russia that hurts us more than Russia,” said Braun. He further explained that anyone was against a war that violated international law – and thus also against wars waged by the US. However, the United States has never been sanctioned.

Braun acerbically recalled that German foreign policy was committed to a certain morality. “Moral about the butchers of Saudi Arabia. Moral about the breaches of international law in Morocco. Morality about the exploiters and oppressors of Qatar. What kind of miserable double standard is that that our government sells as politics?”

It was therefore necessary to end this war and return to negotiations. It is also crazy that the government was upgrading the Bundeswehr for 100 billion euros while the money is needed more urgently elsewhere. There is an urgent need to return to Willy Brandt’s policy, which focuses on negotiations.

Return to detente

Michael Müller (SPD), former State Secretary in the Federal Ministry for the Environment and German Minister from 1983 to 2009, said in his speech that the war had a history. “The war is above all the result of a broken promise.”

With this, Müller was referring to the eastward expansion of NATO after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

“The historical opportunities were not used, but there was a winning mentality. A winning mentality that did not negotiate on an equal footing with Russia.”

In addition, the rearmament of Germany and the West is barbarism that cannot be justified by anything. Müller also criticized Robert Habeck, who always wanted to act as if he were sorry after his decisions, and then explained that it was just the way it was.

Müller called for a return to a policy of detente. There should be no war, especially not today, since there is always the danger of nuclear war.
