Saxony’s police drive electric cars – but there are no charging stations
In the future, Saxony’s police officers could use e-cars to hunt criminals. For this purpose, two electric patrol cars from VW will be tested in Dresden for a year. There’s just one catch.
According to the news portal tag24, state police chief Jörg Kubiessa was very open to this. “I’m really excited about the result.”
But his enthusiasm has been short-lived: Law enforcement charging stations aren’t strong enough. The test drivers have to use public charging stations. According to the manufacturer, the process takes 35 to 45 minutes for a quick charging station.
At least the fully charged car with the official designation ID.4 has a range of 450 kilometers. But despite having a 205 hp engine, a chase on the freeway should be avoided. Because 160 kilometers per hour is the top speed.
For such operations, the Saxon police will probably continue to use conventional patrol cars, regardless of the outcome of the e-car test phase. They need cars that go at 220 kilometers per hour.
Rising migrant attacks on “Pride” activists: Left-wing journalists blame “right-wing extremists”
It is not only after the terrorist attack in Oslo on a gay bar committed by a migrant from Iran that it has become clear that the coexistence between the left-wing do-gooder society and its sexual fringe groups is not compatible with the migrant societies that they have hailed and invited into the country. But in the left camp, the blame continues to be attributed to alleged right-wingers.
Alleged “right-wing extremists” are mostly Muslims
Markus Sulzbacher, a journalist for the newspaper Standard and self-proclaimed “expert on right-wing extremism”, tried to stir up public opinion for his political world view. Sulzbacher used an attack on young people on the fringes of a “Pride Parade” in Linz on “Twitter” as an opportunity to insinuate “meanwhile daily attacks on the LGBTQ+ community by right-wing extremists”:
The perpetrators were obviously migrants from the well-known anti-gay Muslim community, as the local newspaper also wrote. The Viennese Freedom Party press spokesman Leo Kohlbauer commented on Sulzbacher’s trashy attempt to stir up public opinion on Twitter as follows:
It is simply disgusting how leftists try to reinterpret attacks against gays as right-wing. Just like the last attacks in Vienna, the perpetrators are migrants with a probable Muslim background!
Germany: Over 100 migrant clan members brawl in Essen while using knives, dishes, and furniture as weapons
After rival migrant clans brawled in the German city of Essen, even larger clan groups gathered less than 24 hours later at the same location to fight it out in the same place, resulting in a stabbing that left one man seriously injured. Police officials say the tensions between rival migrant gangs to be the main motive behind the clashes, according to the German Die Welt news outlet.
The first mass brawl happened on Saturday and involved approximately 30 people in Essen’s Altendorf district. Police say that during this first incident, a number of arrests were made, but no one was seriously injured and there were no weapons involved. However, over 100 individuals belonging to rival clans then gathered at the same place the next day on Sunday, and this time they were armed with knives and sticks, but also utilized furniture and even plates as weapon during this second melee.
Video of the incident shows large masses of migrant clans battling it on the street.
One man was seriously injured with a stab wound to the neck and remains in the hospital, but a number of other participants were injured as well.
According to local reports, the trigger for the violence was likely a dispute between two large families. The feud may have been sparked by a Cologne music manager, who has several rappers signed under contract, after he was insulted by a member of another extended family.
North Rhine-Westphalia’s Minister of the Interior, Herbert Reul, had increasingly tried in recent years to act against gang violence, especially in the Ruhr area, a place where migrant clan crime remains a major problem.
Despite the state making it a priority to fight clan crime, a Die Welt report indicates that “residents of the district have given up hope that the German state can still create order here.”
After initially refusing to speak to the reporter, one witness said that a “few hundreds of Arabs” fought on Saturday at Altendorfer Strasse and attacked each other with knives and furniture. He saw that one person had been stabbed in the neck but refused to give his name, which the Die Welt report notes is the common position for those who witness crimes in the district. The man said that the feud between the clans will not end.
“It will continue and get worse.” He forms a pistol with his right hand, his index finger pulling its invisible trigger. He warned that “if the boy dies, they’ll shoot here,” referring to the seriously injured man in the hospital.
Buying farmland: Bill Gates is ‘not welcome’ in North Dakota
The billionaire is considered the largest owner of farmland in the United States. This puts him in a “unique position to harm conventional agriculture,” according to a Spanish newspaper. Resistance is therefore growing in North Dakota.
“Farmer Bill is now the largest private owner of agricultural land in the USA,” the British Daily Mail headlined its article on Gates’ expansion into agriculture in January 2021. The 65-year-old tech billionaire owns 242 000 hectares of agricultural land in 18 states.
The largest lands are in Louisiana, Arkansas, Arizona and Nebraska. In total, Gates owns 268 984 hectares of land of all kinds, including in the suburbs of Phoenix, Arizona, which he wants to transform into a “smart city”, according to Spanish daily Vision Times.
But Gates is not the only ultra-rich who knows what it takes to control the food industry and, by extension, people. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and media mogul Ted Turner are heavily involved in buying up US farmland, as the media portal Agrarheute announced .
The fact that Bill Gates is currently encountering obstacles when acquiring a large amount of farmland in North Dakota, as reported by the online portal Vision Times, is therefore to be seen as positive news by many.
The Red River Trust, which is affiliated with Bill Gates, has bought six properties in Pembina County in northeastern North Dakota – on the border with Canada and Minnesota, Vision Times reported. But then “many dissatisfied neighbors” complained about his land purchases, and the Attorney General intervened.
The Attorney General’s office wrote on June 21 requesting the Trust to provide evidence that the use of the land did not violate the Corporate Farm Bills.
Because under North Dakota law, there are “certain restrictions” on trusts that own farm or ranch land. These laws relate, among other things, to “permitting the use of land for commercial purposes”. Those who do not comply with these laws have one year to part with the property. He also faces a $100 000 civil fine, Vision Times noted.
“Our authority needs to ascertain how your company intends to use this property and whether this use falls under one of the statutory exceptions, such as e.g. B. the exemption for commercial purposes,” the letter stated.
As a result, the Gates Trust has 30 days after receiving the letter to demonstrate how it intends to use the land “lawfully,” according to the Vision Times. Gates is “not welcome” in North Dakota, the portal added. State residents have expressed “dissatisfaction” with the land purchase.
“I’ve received a lot of complaints from across the state,” North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring is quoted as saying.
While selling land to a billionaire is neither illegal nor unlawful, many people feel disadvantaged by “tycoons” who buy land in North Dakota but don’t necessarily share “the values of the state”.
Finally, Vision Times examined Gates’ ulterior motives with regard to these land purchases. The portal also pointed out the fact that the multi-billionaire is now the largest private farmland owner in the USA. In recent years he has made “significant” investments, such as in the so-called “100 Circles Farm” in northwestern Washington State, which is easy to see even from the air.
And Gates’ involvement in agriculture is not a good sign: as early as February of this year , the ostentatious do-gooder propagated that industrialized countries should in future give up meat and switch to synthetic substitutes. He justified this demand with the “pollutant emissions from cattle breeding”.
One could get used to the difference in taste, Gates said, and even suggested “introducing legislation to shift demand”. His diktats are all the more surprising seeing that he himself is neither vegetarian nor vegan, according to the report.
In any case, Gates is in the “unique position to harm conventional agriculture,” the online portal highlighted. Because he could prevent ranchers from letting their cows graze on his extensive properties. This would significantly increase the supply pressure on farmers and ultimately lead to an increase in the price of beef in supermarkets, among other consequences.
“Will Bill Gates be able to keep investing a fortune buying US farms?” asked the Vision Times. This will depend on the individual states and on how political decision-makers and the population react to the appropriation of the farmland, the portal concluded. They have the power to stop him.
