“I brought him up like this”: The father of Samuel Paty’s murderer still works for private security firms in France

In the months following the murder of Samuel Paty committed by the jihadist Abdullakh Anzorov, his father had frequently spoken out in the French media. According to Le Parisien, he expressed regret and emphasised his love for France. However, this statement changed in June 2021 during an interview with a Chechen influencer. At the time, he declared that he was “satisfied” with the attack committed by his son: “He went to defend the honour of all Chechens and all Muslims in the world.”

“I brought Adbullakh up like this: You must love Allah more than your own parents,” he also said, claiming that his son had received “a religious upbringing, as is customary in the Chechen tradition”. Today, the man still works in France as a private security guard. According to Le Parisien, he still holds a professional card issued by the Conseil national des activités privées de sécurité (Cnaps). It was even renewed for five years in 2019. This card, explains the daily from the Paris region, allows him to carry out surveillance or security services anywhere in France.

A wrong decision, as the Chechen family man’s statements can be equated with the glorification of terrorism. “The prefect and director of the Cnap, Cyrille Maillet, explains: “We cannot be accused of anything, we look at the police files and this gentleman has no criminal record. Since the family man’s criminal record is clean, there is no reason to revoke his professional card. He also assures that the seriousness of his team cannot be questioned, as the Cnaps had twice (in April and September 2020, a few weeks before the attack) refused to issue a similar card to the young terrorist – who already had a criminal record before committing his crime.

A categorical refusal that did not, however, stop Abdullakh Anzorov from continuing to work in the security sector. According to Le Parisien, the Cnaps has identified around 30 companies with contacts to the Anzorov family. Some of them are even said to have offered to house or train the young terrorist, although the Cnaps did not want to issue him a professional card – without any consequences for them.

“Since the murder and despite the discovery of this network of companies linked to the murderer of Samuel Paty, the management has told us that this is a too sensitive issue,” a controller of the Cnap, who remains anonymous, told the daily. According to him, several requests for investigations were turned down. “We don’t know what will become of them or what will happen there”.Nothing that worries Cyrille Maillet: “There was a judicial request, we gave all this information to the judiciary and we give them priority. That is the reality of a state under the rule of law”.

France: An Afghan allegedly fleeing the Taliban enters the very same flat four times to commit three sexual assaults and one theft

In the summer of 2021, a person broke into the same flat on Rue Caponière in Caen (Calvados) four times. On Tuesday June 28, 2022, the criminal court convicted him of these offences.

Najib*, a 26-year-old Afghan national, was taken from the Caen detention centre, where he has been in pre-trial detention since October 2021, to stand trial for three sexual assaults and one theft committed between July and September 2021.

The three complainants are young women living in a shared flat in Caen. At different times, in July and August 2021, each of them was woken up in the middle of the night by a man lying next to her.Actu.fr

Austria: 133 illegal migrants on the train

On a train to Vorarlberg, numerous persons were behaving in an extremely aggressive manner. As a result, an unscheduled stop was ordered by the train conductor at around 9.30 a.m. He also called the police. . They were astonished. They found 138 strangers from Afghanistan, Syria and North Africa.

All of them were subjected to a police check on the spot. The ten police patrols, including a dog patrol, were supported by a task force from Vorarlberg and the Austrian Armed Forces.

The result: 24 people did not have any documents on them and were promptly taken to the Plon detention centre. Another 109 strangers were in possession of a green procedure card and were thus subject to a territorial restriction. They were reported but allowed to continue their journey. Only five persons were in possession of a white procedure card and were thus staying legally in the federal territory. They were also allowed to continue their journey into Ländle.

A police spokesperson said that there had not been such a large-scale operation “for a long time”.

France: “Revolutionary socialism”, “Arab-Muslim culture”, departure for Syria: The astonishing world view of a terrorist arrested in Savoie

In the town of Arenthon in the French department of Haute-Savoie, an unexpected discovery led to the disturbing profile of a young man. A barrel containing “chemicals, a gas cylinder, incendiary and retardant materials and detonators” was discovered in a wooded area, a police source told Le Figaro newspaper. Material that could enable the construction of explosive devices. Investigators arrested a 22-year-old unemployed man whose home is near where the explosives were found.

In police custody, the suspect denied any criminal intent. Instead, he allows police to locate the sites of “several dozen” other metal drums containing dangerous substances. The suspect is charged on June 3 with “criminal terrorist organisation” and “possession of substances and components that are used in the composition of explosive devices in connection with a terrorist project”.

When investigators try to find out more about the suspect, they discover that the 22-year-old has already been known to the police since August 2020. The unemployed man was arrested after he refused a check in Switzerland. His flat was searched by specialists in radiological and chemical risks, among others. Dangerous products that could be used to manufacture explosive devices were discovered. An investigation was launched at the local level, but due to a lack of conclusive evidence, the case was not forwarded to the anti-terrorism police.

The suspect is reported to be a loner and has an unusual background. In his youth, he is said to have committed no less than five arsons and to have a “fascination for mass murders”. The man of “Arab-Muslim origin” had ” planned to go to Syria”, a source familiar with the case told Le Figaro. Notes from the suspect would show very anti-capitalist statements and a willingness to commit acts of violence in the name of a “revolutionary socialist” ideology.

UPDATE: Moroccan beheaded a homeless man – Heads are rolling in Germany: Severed head found in front of Bonn Regional Court

UPDATE: His buddy Hasan H., with whom he shared a sleeping place on the banks of the river Rhine in Bonn, chopped off his head in a state of intoxication and ran with it about one kilometre to the court. https://www.bild.de/regional/koeln/koeln-aktuell/kopf-vor-gericht-in-bonn-ablegt-kein-mord-toter-starb-an-krankheit-80549840.bild.html###wt_ref=https:/m.bild.de/

Heads have been rolling for years in the “best Germany ever”. It is known who the victims are. In Bonn, the severed head of a 44-year-old homeless man lay before the regional court on June 29, 2022. In a cemetery in Koblenz, investigators found the decapitated body of 59-year-old homeless man Gerd Michael Straten in 2018. Police are looking for parallels between the two crimes.

In the Bonn case, a 38-year-old suspect was arrested. He sat motionless next to the head and made no attempt to escape. The man, whose nationality the police did not give any information about, is homeless just like the victim, but is also known to the police for drug offences.

The range of victims obviously excludes any – however organised – background to the acts. Nevertheless, conclusions can be drawn about a problem that goes beyond each individual regrettable case:

In July 2021, a 54-year-old homeless man died after being stabbed on a park bench in Hanover.

Also in July 2021, a 22-year-old Somali massacred a 52-year-old roommate in a homeless shelter in the Bavarian Forest with 111 stab wounds and cut off his head. He had heard voices during the crime, was declared insane and locked away in a psychiatric ward.

One month later, a 35-year-old man dies in a refugee and homeless shelter in Greven, North Rhine-Westphalia, stabbed by a 25-year-old Afghan.

In a homeless shelter in Sigmaringen, a 28-year-old man dies from knife wounds in March 2022.

And, so on…

The knifing will kill us all. It’s terrifying!

An accusation of blasphemy in Germany, again!

On the first anniversary of the murder of the french teacher, Samuel Paty, on the 16th of October 2021, the Ex-Muslim A.M. carried out a demonstration in Stuttgart to condemn the brutal murder, which was authorized by the relevant authorities without any special conditions.
The aim of the event was to point to the danger of political Islam.

To warn of the danger of an inhuman ideology which through the pretense of democratic values in many ways has become a cooperating partner to the state, it aims to undermine German society.

Since the teacher Samuel Paty was beheaded in relation to the Mohammed caricatures by a Muslim in Paris on the 16th of October 2020, said caricatures were, among others, displayed in the demonstration.
Mr. M. held a speech in Persian in which he clearly expressed his right to freedom of expression, he was consequently attacked by a Muslim and many of his signs were destroyed.

Being interrogated by the police, the attacker said that Mr. M. has “incited hate against Islam in insulting the prophet”.
The translation of his speech showed that Mr. M. has described Mohammed as “a paedophile, rapist, and murderer” and that he said that “rape of women and child marriage are allowed in Islam”.

The Criminal Police (Department of State Security) issued charges against A.M. after the attacker’s statement and the translation of the video under section 166 of the Penal Code for insulting beliefs, religious communities, and world-views.

Eight Months after the video was translated, Mr. M. had to pay a 300 Euro fine, which was ratified by a court in Stuttgart.
This criminal procedure ultimately results in a reversal of the victim and perpetrator roles.

Mr. M said:“I have lodged an objection against the penalty order of the Stuttgart district court through my lawyer and will do everything in my power” to combat this blasphemy penalty.”

On the 4th of July 2022, the appeal against the criminal offense will be heard at the Stuttgart district court.

Criticism of political Islam and theocratic government is legitimate. We are assured that the blasphemy charge is unjustified. There is a legitimate hope of acquittal.
It is to be wished that the arbitrarily used section 166 of the Penal Code is also abolished in Germany.

In 2020 Das Institut für Weltanschauungsrecht (ifw) presented a draft law that could abolish the blasphemy paragraph.Freedom of expression in Germany, when it comes to religious topics, is not, or is very weakly, protected by the law.

Criticism of religion in Germany

Freedom of expression in Germany, when it comes to religious topics, is not, or is very weakly protected by the law.

Criticism of religion or satire thereof must be tolerated by all religious communities, including Islamic ones. During the demonstration, other Charlie Hebdo caricatures such as ones satirizing the Christian religion were shown, which – unsurprisingly – did not lead to any reaction. Only caricatures about Islam lead to this kind of angry reaction.
Muslims must simply learn that the constitution stands above any and all religious strictures.

A topic that is not only in Germany but also around the world is treated with a certain restraint, in politics, media, and the public.

This is self-censorship and has to do with repression, such that the minority of radicalised Muslims and Islamists can further intimidate the public into silence.

A clear stance is now required: No tolerance towards the intolerant.
No freedom to the enemies of freedom. If Islam is to belong to Germany and is to be treated as a “normal” religion like all others, then the Imams and representatives of the Islamic religions, especially the most conservative ones, must advocate for tolerance and a peaceable relationship to the outside world.

They should not react in violence, but rather trust that God can protect himself and is not dependent on any human representatives for that.

Europe’s next drug hotspot

Before the war, the Ukrainian police actively fought drug-related crime. Now the authorities have other priorities.

The accession of Ukraine could lead to further negative consequences for Europe and the world. The United Nations has warned of an increase in drug production in the war-torn country. At the same time, the conflict could also become a problem for drug smugglers.

According to the United Nations, the Ukraine war could lead to an increase in drug production. Conflict regions act like a “magnet” for the production of synthetic drugs, the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Vienna warned in its annual report. “This effect may be greater when the conflict region is near large consumer markets”.

According to the UNODC, the number of drug laboratories for the production of amphetamines closed by the authorities in Ukraine has risen sharply in recent years, from 17 in 2019 to 79 in 2020. This was the highest number of closed amphetamine laboratories in the world.

As the war continues, the number of drug labs could increase further. “There is no police patrolling and stopping laboratories,” said UNODC expert Angela Me, referring to conflict zones. However, according to the report, the war in Ukraine could also lead to drug smuggling routes being disrupted or postponed.

Russia cracks down on drugs

The drug problem has plagued Ukraine for decades. After the collapse of the Soviet Union and national independence in the 1990s, the strictest of laws against the possession of even the smallest quantities, for which one ended up in prison. As a result, the number of HIV infections rose massively because those affected were cut off from medical and social support.

After a few years, a much more liberal course was taken. It focused on safer use (a euphemism for drug use monitored by social workers) and better health care. This may have improved the overall health situation of consumers, but notably worsened the general drug problem in the country. In 2014, crackdowns on dealers and drug addicts began in the Lugansk and Donetsk oblasts, which are now controlled by the Russian Federation.

Violence against women

At the beginning of the Corona crisis, acts of violence against women in the drug milieu increased by around 30 percent. An observer described the situation at the time as follows: “Often the men send their wives to the streets so that they can fetch money for drugs. Sex work was suspended during lockdown. So there was no money.”

Against the background of the upheavals of the war, it is now to be feared that the country will again develop into a European or even global hotspot for drug production and consumption. In addition to the ubiquitous corruption in the country, the EU would face another massive problem if Ukraine actually joined.

Long-standing suspicions

Even the Ukrainian president is regularly rumored to be addicted to cocaine.

Speaking on the air of Radio Komsomolskaya Pravda, the Ukrainian journalist Anatoly Shariy, in particular, said the behaviour of the Ukrainian leader appear to be linked to the use of illegal substances. “They are such specialists already that they can distinguish some Puerto Rican or Costa Rican cocaine from Colombian cocaine,” Shariy said.

However, Shariy is not the first who in Ukraine spoke about Zelensky’s drug addiction. This suspicion was expressed not long ago by the former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. When there was a struggle for the position of head of state, Poroshenko, referring to Zelensky, said that the president of the country and the supreme commander cannot be a person dependent on drugs.

“I believe that this is an extremely big threat when there is a suspicion that the candidate or even the president of Ukraine, the supreme commander-in-chief may be a person who, it is possible, has a drug addiction. And in order to remove these issues, both candidates are interested in this, every Ukrainian is interested in this, those who make a conscious choice in exactly two weeks. The drug addiction of the candidate is a direct threat to national security. A threat to every Ukrainian,” Poroshenko wrote on Twitter.

Poroshenko’s suspicion was fueled by the fact that Zelensky, then still a presidential candidate, refused to be tested by experts of the anti-doping organization (WADA), which he was offered to do to refute this accusation.

It is clear that accusations of drug addiction by Zelensky that Poroshenko could put forward, were to compromise his political rival. But medical experts also sounded the alarm. The Independent Drug Guild’s drug doctor, Ruslan Isayev in an exclusive interview 5-tv.ru, analyzed the behaviour of Zelensky in public.

“This condition can be a consequence of the use of psychostimulants or hallucinogens. The first thing that probably turns on the tongue is cocaine […] You can see that the person is active. Only this activity does not have adequate forms,” the narcologist explained.

Afghanistan produces 86 percent of the world’s opium

Meanwhile, according to the UN experts, the development of the market for opium-based drugs such as heroin depends on the situation in the crisis-ridden Afghanistan. Some 86 percent of the world’s opium was produced there last year.

According to the UNODC report, the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan could lead to increased poppy cultivation, even though the ruling Taliban banned cultivation in April. “Changes in opium production in Afghanistan will impact opiate markets in all regions of the world,” the UNODC report said.

According to the information, an estimated 284 million people worldwide used drugs last year. This means that every 18th person between the ages of 15 and 64 took drugs.

Belgium: More than 35,000 women and girls are at risk of female genital mutilation

A study commissioned by the FPS Public Health and the Institute for the Equality of Women and Men in Belgiumestimated that 23,395 women and children across the country have undergone partial or total removal of their external genitalia, also known as female genital mutilation (FGM).

The study was presented on Tuesday to the press in the presence of the Secretary of State for Gender Equality Sarah Schlitz. It was carried out by two researchers, a demographer and a midwife in public health, and also concludes that more than 12,000 girls or women living in Belgium are “potentially at risk of excision” because of their origins.

This is the fourth study on the subject. The previous one, based on data from 2016, estimated that 17,575 women were “very likely to be circumcised,” and 8,342 girls were “at risk of circumcision.” The numbers have been steadily increasing since monitoring of the situation began in 2007.

The women living in Belgium, presumed to be circumcised or at risk of being circumcised, are primarily from Guinea, Somalia, and Egypt. They live mainly in Flanders (16,089), and to a lesser extent in Brussels (7,989) and Wallonia (9,784).

“Migration continues, and migrant people are often younger and, therefore, have children,” noted Fabienne Richard, one of the researchers.

The provinces of Antwerp, Liège, and the Brussels-Capital Region are the areas that receive the most women and girls who are victims of or at risk of female genital mutilation.

The problem of female genital mutilation is almost entirely a problem seen in migrant communities, which is the case in countries such as Germany. The number of girls and women who are victims of female genital mutilation (FGM) in Germany has increased by 44 percent since 2017 to 68,000, announced former German Minister for Family Affairs Franziska Giffey in 2020.

According to the minister, mainly migration is to blame for the massive increase as many migrants coming to Germany commonly practice FGM in their own home countries.

More than a third are minors

Among the approximately 35,000 women and girls estimated by the study in Belgium, more than a third are minors.

“There is a crucial need to inform and raise awareness of the communities concerned, especially as the holidays approach, which is a high-risk period with returns to the countries of origin,” warns Fabienne Richard.

Among other recommendations resulting from the study, the researchers also consider it necessary to establish a female genital mutilation (FGM) trajectory for families who have come to Belgium through family reunification.

More generally, the recommendations call for a uniform policy in all schools to identify all forms of sexual violence against children early on. On the caregiver side, the theme of FGM should be integrated into their curriculum and become a part of their continual education. The researchers highlighted that, due to ignorance of the problem, many doctors perform unnecessary cesarean sections on circumcised women.

“These studies are essential so that political decision-makers can anchor their work in the realities on the ground,” said Secretary of State Sarah Schlitz. At the same time, Schlitz announced two upcoming awareness campaigns; one to raise awareness of the two accredited centers offering comprehensive care for circumcised women (CeMAViE at the CHU St Pierre in Brussels and the VrouwenKliniek at the UZ in Ghent), and another for prevention during vacations, which often take place in the women’s home countries.
