On today’s #NCFWhittle we are joined by Rupert Shortt an author and journalist specialising in the global persecution of Christians and author of “Christianophobia: A Faith Under Attack”. He has also writes in defence and promotion of Christianity. Former Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams said that Shortt’s book ‘God Is No Thing: Coherent Christianity’ “deserves a place alongside the best intelligent responses to the New Atheism.” Shortt is a research associate at Cambridge University’s Von Hugel Institute and was religion editor of The Times Literary Supplement from 2000 to 2020.
