An individual deeply involved in hard-Left activism in UK, caught on video leading incendiary chants at a pro-Palestinian rally in connection to the Israel-Hamas conflict, has been found to be an an adviser of Met police.

Attiq Malik, a solicitor known for his vocal opposition against what he terms “global censorship by the Zionists,” was found to have been present in the police operations room during protests last month. A video discovered by The Telegraph exhibits Malik encouraging chants of “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” in 2021, a slogan denounced by Downing Street as “deeply offensive” to many.

This disclosure of Malik’s advisory role may compound embarrassment for the Metropolitan Police, which has faced considerable criticism for its handling of recent protests. During these events, officers refrained from taking action despite calls for “jihad.”

This revelation follows a prior report by The Telegraph indicating that Mohammed Kozbar, a notable mosque chairman who commended the founder of Hamas, was part of a “scrutiny panel” advising the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) on hate crime. Consequently, the CPS is now conducting an urgent review of the panel’s composition.

Home Secretary Suella Braverman cautioned against the “river to the sea” chant, suggesting it might convey a violent desire to obliterate Israel. She urged police to consider whether its use could constitute an offense in specific circumstances. However, the force encountered backlash for holding a contrary perspective.

A prominent figure from the Conservative Party expressed astonishment at Malik’s involvement, raising concerns and demanding answers. This individual highlighted the contradiction between the Metropolitan Police being associated with someone vocalizing evidently anti-Semitic slogans.
