The Bratislava Capitals announce another bereavement only a few days after the tragedy of Boris Sadecky. General manager Dusan Pasek was found dead.
The ICE Hockey League is shaken by another tragedy. Two days after Slovakian Boris Sadecky of the Bratislava Capitals died after collapsing during the game at the Dornbirn Bulldogs, his club reports another death. General manager Dusan Pasek junior was found dead in a Bratislava neighbourhood.
In memory of the late Sadecky, all ICE Hockey League players will be wearing his number ten on their helmets this weekend. In addition, a minute of mourning will be held before all games from Thursday evening. The Bratislava Capitals’ matches on Friday against Ljubljana and on Sunday against Znojmo have been postponed indefinitely.
Sadecky’s collapse is not an isolated case. More and more young athletes have collapsed on the sports field lately.
