  1. The attack that murdered the two girls occurred on October 1, 2017. The suspect was Ahmed Hamachi, from Tunisia. He was arrested the day of the murders for shoplifting but was released. He had a dozen arrests in total. Mauranne was studying medicine-Laura was a nursing student. One of the victims was stabbed in the stomach-the other had her throat cut. Hanachi was killed by soldiers patrolling the area. Who knows what these two promising young women could have accomplished had they not been murdered. Had the French government deported this “person” sometime during his crime spree. I am beyond sick and angry as a parent, a grandparent and a former police officer. Sadly, many more will suffer and be murdered before anyone gets their act together and begins deporting these people or putting them in prison for life.
