Joy has turned to rage. And it’s not because Trump has changed, but because Kamala’s prospects have.
One of the smart things that the Kamala campaign relaunch did was shed all the ‘protecting democracy’ nonsense. The trouble was that beyond ‘joy’ they couldn’t find anything tangible to replace it with.
The numbers are bad, the campaign is bleeding momentum, and the Kamala campaign pivoted right back to neo-fascist scenes of their candidate screaming that their opponent is a threat to democracy.
The optics are terrible, but the only alternative in Michigan was to showcase Michelle Obama telling men they’re scum for not voting for Kamala and that they’ll kill their wives and girlfriends.
