The centre of Athens became “mini-Karachi” on August 14, Independence Day of Pakistan

The Pakistani immigrants living in Greece turned Kotzia Square into… Pakistan once again.

Every year on August 14, Kotzia Square in the centre of Athens is handed over to the Pakistanis living in the city and allowed to be turned into a mini-Karachi!

Pakistan celebrates its independence day from the British Empire on August 14.

As has become “custom,” the thousands of Pakistanis living in Athens flooded Kotzia Square on Wednesday, which became a ghetto for several hours.

Let’s not forget that during the coronavirus pandemic, there were mass gatherings, despite the restrictions, with Syntagma Square becoming filled with immigrants (mostly Muslims) who were indifferent to safety measures, public health and fines.

It seems all the restrictions were only for the Greeks!
