A priest was attacked with a knife at a church in Nice, France on Sunday morning, French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin wrote on Twitter.
The attack comes as French citizens vote in the runoff for the presidential election.
According to Minister Darmanin, the priest suffered non-life-threatening injuries and tyhe attacker was arrested. Another person at the church also sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The attackers motives are currently unknown.
