The Polish police this week stopped a bus of German refugee activists who were on their way to the Polish-Belarus border to load up migrants and unload them in Germany. These confused “activists” were finally put in their place.
The naivety of the do-gooders came to light as they assumed they could simply drive through a military zone, or restricted area, but their frustration at being kept out is palpable.
Focus online reported that the Polish police stopped a bus of German humanitarian activists who were on their way to the border with Belarus. The bus from the Seebrücke Deutschland and LeaveNoOneBehind initiatives was not allowed to travel eastwards a few kilometers from the Kuznica border crossing on Tuesday evening.
Poland had declared a state of emergency in a three-kilometer zone along the border. Aid organizations are not allowed in. The activists had previously aided a Polish organization known as Grupa Granica [Borders].
FWM has learned that the Polish network provide mobile phones and SIM cards for illegals as “safe communication is essential in such a situation”. “Gender-sensitive” lawyers from the network provide free legal assistance as well as help with asylum applications and information on safe routes. They also have an ambulance to transport illegals across the border.
Originally, the bus organizers had planned to take migrants back to Germany with them. However, the Federal Ministry of the Interior warned that “unauthorized transport and any unauthorized entry” could have criminal consequences. A spokesman for the group, Ruben Neugebauer, said: “We want to send a sign of solidarity here. It is the day the wall came down and it is important that we choose human rights instead of walls.”
It appears as if the rush for the border fence was supposed to coincide with free transport to Germany.
Illegals gearing up to make a dash for the border
Earlier, the spokesman for the Polish Internal Security Agency posted a video on Twitter showing “a large group of migrants” who were “on their way to the border with the Republic of Poland”. “The biggest attempt to force itself into Polish territory has begun,” he added. According to the agency, “illegals are strictly controlled by the Belarusian services”.
Aid workers have criticised Poland’s state of emergency which stops them from entering the affected area around the Polish border town of Kuznica: “For us it is heart-breaking. We are here, near the border and we cannot enter the zone and help people. We can only help those who manage to cross the border and make it out of the restricted area,” one activist told the BBC.
A few hundred people have already broken through the barrier between Belarus and Poland and according to Polish authorities there have been many such attempts. They are rushing to Germany, where there are social benefits that have created incentives for their migration to Central Europe.
Tricks to garner Western sympathy
In an interview with Berlin weekly Junge Freiheit, the Polish ambassador Andrzej Przylebski in Berlin said that Polish television had uncovered the tricks that some “humanitarians” use to try to elicit sympathy for their efforts in “rescuing” illegals. In a report, it was revealed how migrants blow cigarette smoke into a child’s eyes to make it look as if he have been crying. The “crying” child is then photographed and the photo is sent around the world.
The video below shows how the child in question plays along as another migrant blows smoke into his eyes to make them appear red and teary. This tactic was used shortly before the interview with the second largest national Polish daily Wyborcza.
The child “victim” is then recorded with a mobile phone camera as he recounts how “inhumane” Polish border troops used tear gas against him and his companions.
Human traffickers from all over the EU
Polish police have told the German TV channel Tagesschau that in just 24 hours, almost 24 000 vehicles were checked – with shocking results. They say that in a car with five seats, 13 people were found. In a minibus with eight seats, there were 50 people.
According to Polish police, the human traffickers are organized criminals who “earn thousands of euros” in transporting the migrants. Tagesschau reported that many of the drivers of the vehicles were people with an immigrant background who have a residence permit in Europe.
“These individuals are mainly Syrian, Albanian or Ukrainian and identify themselves with passports and documents from Germany or Sweden,” said Polish police spokeswoman Mariusz Ciarka.
“Just let them come!” said the new chairman of the German PEN Club, Deniz Yücel, in an interview with German daily Die Welt. “It is simply as legitimate as it is understandable to hope for a better life in freedom, peace and (modest) prosperity for yourself and your family elsewhere.”
He may be right, but on the other hand, why should German social benefits be made available to all refugees from around the world? Germany is destabilizing Europe by becoming the main attraction for illegal mass migration with its generous social benefits, an asylum system that invites abuse, the inability to secure borders and deport hundreds of thousands of illegals who are obliged to leave the country.
Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said in a Facebookmessage on November 8 that “the Polish border is not just a line on a map” and that it is “sacred” because “Polish blood was spilled for it”.
Meanwhile twelve EU countries – including Poland, Lithuania and Latvia, but also Denmark, Austria and Hungary – have asked the EU Commission at the beginning of October that “physical barriers” against unwanted migration at the external borders be at least partially financed from EU funds. However, Commission President Ursula von der Leyen rejected this.
