A trans-identified male convicted of murdering his own parents is attempting to be get back into a women’s prison after being transferred out due to his sexual behavior with the female inmates. Amber FayeFox Kim, 35, whose birth name is Bryan, is suing the state’s Department of Corrections, claiming that being housed in a male prison is “cruel and unusual punishment.”

On June 21, the Washington Department of Corrections (DOC) transferred Kim out of the Washington Correctional Center for Women (WCCW) and to the Monroe Correctional Facility, a men’s prison. Kim had been detained at the WCCW for three and a half years, but was moved due to “safety concerns” after he reportedly had been observed having prohibited sexual interactions with a female inmate at WCCW.

According to The National Review, a prison guard witnessed Kim and his 25-year-old cellmate, Sincer-A Marie Nerton, “actively having sex” on the floor of the cell. The guard, who chose to remain anonymous when speaking with the outlet, filed a report in March detailing a firsthand account.

“Kim’s hands were on Nerton’s buttox [sic] in a spread open position while Kim’s erect penis was penetrating Nerton’s vagina,” the report read. “This is against MSU rules and policy. WAC-504-Engaging in a sex act with another person within the facility that is not otherwise included in these rules, except in an approved extended family visit.”

Now, the American Civil Liberties Union of Washington has announced their legal support for Kim in a bid to have him transferred back into a women’s prison while arguing that incarceration at a men’s detention center places him “at imminent risk of harm.” A press release issued by the ACLU on December 17 argues that the placement of Kim in Monroe, a prison for men, is “unconstitutional” and an example of transphobia.

“Ms. Kim has lived at the WCCW since 2021,” reads the ACLU statement issued by Attorney Adrien Leavitt, which refers to Kim with feminine pronouns. “On March 14, 2024, Ms. Kim and her cellmate, a cisgender woman, were caught having consensual sexual contact and were each found guilty of a 504 infraction for violating rules around sexual contact.”

The press release continued: “In its filing, the ACLU of Washington argues that the transfer violates Article I, Section 14 of the Washington Constitution, which prohibits cruel punishment … Transfer to a men’s prison exposes Ms. Kim to an imminent danger of violence, sexual assault, and harassment.”

An affidavit filed December 17 by the ACLU on Kim’s behalf contains testimony from the convicted killer. “I read the encyclopedia off and on for years. When I reached the letter ‘T,’ I found a word for the secret of me, ‘transsexual.’ I was in middle school,” Kim states.

“Throughout middle and high school, I went by the name ‘Kim.’ Although my friends and peers thought they were just calling me ‘Kim’ because it was my last name, I loved being called a female name and it helped me emotionally as I struggled with gender dysphoria,” he continues.

When Kim was incarcerated at the age of 18, he claims that he became “the target of constant bullying due to being effeminate” and other inmates perceiving him as being homosexual.

“I survived two attempted sexual assaults at Walla Walla. Each time, I was able to physically defend myself and ward off the attacks. I know that, had I not fought back, I would have been raped. I feel that I was targeted for these attempted sexual assaults because of my effeminate appearance.”

While incarcerated among the male prison population, Kim alleges that he “was heckled, cat-called, hit-on, objectified, sexualized, and stalked by men,” and that he received “a nearly constant stream of notes from other inmates” propositioning him for “anonymous sex in the showers.”

Kim says that he “became involved in a coalition supporting transgender prisoners” which assisted him in legally changing his name from Bryan to Amber Fayefox, adding, “My name change was used as a template for other incarcerated transgender people who wanted to change their names.”

Bizarrely, Kim adds his rationale for choosing the feminine name ‘Amber,’ saying, “I chose the name Amber because it is one of few precious stones that was once part of a living being; it preserves the past within it and yet is electrically alive. I was also draw to the name Amber because, in Greek mythology, the name Amber is equivalent to the name of the Greek goddess Electra… The name Amber reflects my true identity.”

The convicted murderer also claims that his 2021 transfer to the female prison estate was “a massive improvement” because he could “truly live and be seen as a woman.”

While held at WCCW, Kim began receiving electrolysis for facial hair removal on the taxpayer’s dime, and was placed on a waitlist for genital surgery. Kim claims he received genital surgery “shortly after” he was transferred back to a men’s prison after having engaged in sexual interactions with a female inmate at WCCW.

After Kim was transferred out of women’s prison WCCW at the end of June, The Huffington Post reported sympathetically on the case while referring to Kim with feminine pronouns and condemning the “transphobic rationale” that had seen Kim placed in a male correctional facility for fifteen years.

According to the outlet, Kim requested to see documentation authorizing his transfer during the relocation process. When his requests were denied, he refused to continue walking. As a result, guards were left no other option than to restrain and forcibly relocate Kim, where he was also placed in solitary confinement as a disciplinary action for refusing the transfer.

Immediately following Kim’s transfer to Monroe, he began a hunger strike in protest. After 17 days, he discontinued the hunger strike because, according to Kim, he was told he would be denied state-funded genital surgeries if he did not comply.

In November 2023, The Huffington Post had also portrayed Kim in a compassionate light in an article on trans-identifying male inmates – despite the fact that Kim has previously been described by a psychiatrist as suffering from antisocial personality disorder and having “no conscience.” In a 2022 psychiatrist report, Kim is quoted as saying that he was “no good at being a boy but not allowed to be a girl” during his childhood. Kim claimed that his parents had made multiple threats to kill him leading up to the murder, and that they had refused to let him move out.

“Kim fatally stabbed her father and killed her mother when she returned home,” read the Huffington Post article. “Kim, 18 at the time, was sentenced to die in prison. Her plans of coming out now seemed impossible.”

In 2008, at the age of 19, Kim was found guilty of aggravated first-degree murder in the stabbing death of his father, Richard Kim, and the bludgeoning and strangulation of his mother, Terri Kim reported The Spokesman-Review. The Kims were killed by their son at their home in Mount Spokane on December 5, 2006.

During his closing remarks at the trial, Chief Deputy Criminal Prosecutor Jack Driscoll told the jury Bryan Kim killed his parents because they had been charging him $1,000 for rent and were prepared to evict him from their home. “His parents had given him a deadline. They needed to die so he could have what he felt he was entitled go,” Driscoll told the jury.

Expert witness Dr. William Grant, of Eastern State Hospital, testified that he believed Kim had “no conscience” and diagnosed him as displaying symptoms of antisocial personality disorder, as evidenced in part by the violent outbursts which he had been prescribed medication to control.

The public defender’s expert, Dr. Michael Arambula, of San Antonio, argued that the medication had aggravated his condition and as such was not entirely responsible for the murders of his parents. Arambula said Kim suffered from depression at an unusually early age and hadn’t been properly treated.

Both psychiatrists agreed, however, that Kim was mentally ill. After brutally killing his parents, Kim attempted to clean up the crime scene, and had earlier that same day stolen his father’s debit card. Before the murders, Kim withdrew $1,000 from his father’s account and went shopping.

During court proceedings, Kim’s sister Jessica testified that her brother suffered from bipolar disorder. She also knew him to be “fascinated with Zip ties” and remarked that he “slept with a knife under his pillow”.

Similarly, a former girlfriend, Marina Ritchey, told the court of the “violent images” Kim said would flood his mind whenever he thought of his parents. Tensions were high in the home and disputes broke out frequently over Bryan’s refusal to take his medication to treat his bipolar disorder. According to Sgt. Dave Reagan of the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, there was also a “history of assault behavior” between Kim and his parents leading up to the murders.

Last October, the Washington Department of Corrections reached a settlement with the nonprofit organization Disability Rights Washington that updated the prison system’s policies in regards to trans-identifying inmates.

“Patients with gender dysphoria will also be promptly evaluated for gender-affirming surgeries and procedures by a community expert in gender-affirming care and patients will have access to gender-affirming mental health care,” reads a press release announcing the decision.

According to the updated prison policy, an inmate’s “gender expression / transition status or gender identity … will be maintained as confidential and will only be disclosed within the Department on a need-to-know basis.” DOC Secretary Cheryl Strange hailed the “landmark agreement” as “a step in the right direction.”

Kim is not the first trans-identified male inmate caught having sexual contact with a female inmate at WCCW in recent years.

As previously exclusively reported by Reduxx, another trans-identified male transfer at WCCW sexually assaulted a female inmate in 2022. The woman, who was identified under the pseudonym “Mary,” came forward to tell Reduxx that violent sex offender Christopher Williams sexually abused her after he was moved into her cell.

The situation took a turn for the worse after Mary was prescribed sleeping medication to help with her anxiety at night.

“I’m not sure how many times he touched me because of my [meds]. But one day I came back to my cell from a work shift and he had two strap-on dildos and asked me to use them on him. I refused. That night, I was woken up to him touching me.”

While Kim’s transfer to the male estate is a first for the state of Washington, it is not an isolated case nationally. At least one other male inmate who has claimed to be a woman has been transferred out of a women’s prison – though unlike Kim, the decision was made to protect him, rather than to safeguard women.

Raequan ‘Rae’ Rollins was previously held at the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women (EMCF) in New Jersey. In 2019 he was sentenced to four years in prison for a violent robbery incident, and after spending five months in a male facility, Rollins changed his legal gender marker to ‘female’ and was subsequently transferred to the Edna Mahan women’s estate in October of that year.

While detained at EMCF, Rollins assaulted several prison officers and sexually harassed female guards and inmates. Rollins would ultimately provoke one of the most violent prison riots at EMCF’s history in January of 2021, during which he was beaten, and six women were severely battered by guards.

After filing a lawsuit that year, Rollins was transferred out of the women’s prison for his safety and temporarily placed in the male estate at the New Jersey State Prison, before being transferred again to Pennsylvania’s State Correctional Institution at Muncy, a facility for adult female offenders.

The Romanian state is attempting a coup d’état in order to cling to power, according to a candidate in the country’s disputed presidential elections.

The annulment of the elections on December 6 after the surprise first-round victory of outsider Călin Georgescu is a plot by politicians and courts to prevent radical change in Bucharest’s policy towards Ukraine, says George Simion, leader of the hard-right Alliance for the Union of Romanians party.

“We are facing a coup d’etat against the will of the people”, Simion tells Brussels Signal.

When visiting the corridors of power in Brussels, Simion said he heard “again and again and again about the rule of law.”

He continued: “It’s exactly the rule of law which is being shattered [in Romania] and nobody seems to care”.

Simion, who secured around 1.3 million votes in the first round of the annulled election, says the reaction of the European Union to the annulment has been “shameful”.

“The EPP [European People’s party] and the Socialists are backing this coup d’etat and they are backing the current undemocratic government. We … had speeches in our campaign about Belarus, Lukashenko, about what’s happening in undemocratic countries, but we never believed that we will get in such a point where in Romania we will have annulled free elections,” he said.

Romania’s political landscape has been thrown into chaos by the constitutional court’s decision. It is unclear if the Bucharest parliament will be able to function when it meets in coming days as there are moves to invalidate the mandates of parliamentarians sympathetic to Georgescu, it is claimed. Peaceful protestors and at least one MP have been arrested near the parliament, said Mr Simion.

No-one knows when new presidential elections will take place, or if Georgescu will be allowed to stand. Simion says he supports Georgescu and would implement Georgescu’s policy of ceasing arms shipments to Ukraine if he was elected following a new presidential plebiscite.

“Romania wasn’t transparent in telling the world and … telling its own citizens that we give weapons and military aid to Ukraine,” he said. “This is kept secret and the majority of the Romanians don’t want us to help or to get involved in this war.”

On allegations that Russia interfered in the first round, allegedly via social media and TikTok in particular, Simion said there was “no proof”. While intelligence has reportedly been declassified and shown to the constitutional court, none had been made public, he said. Court members are political appointees and therefore biased, he added.

“They annulled our presidential elections without any substantial proof of foreign interference.”

“So 10 million votes were annulled by a system that fears the will of the people. It’s unprecedented inside the European Union and inside the free world, inside civilised countries. We were expecting a democratic transition of power from the current government and the current president to the newly elected leaders of the Romanian people”.

Georgescu won the first round of the presidential vote, garnering 23 per cent. Elena Lasconi, of the opposition Save Romania Union, secured 19 per cent as was due to face Georgescu in a runoff on December 8. Marcel Ciolacu of the governing Social Democrats (and prime minister) came in third while Simion came fourth with around 14 per cent, or around 1.3 million votes.

The term of the current president, Klaus Iohannis, is due to end later in December, though he is now expected to continue in a caretaker capacity. He has been in power for ten years.

The European Commission has opened a formal investigation into TikTok after concluding there were “serious indications” of foreign interference in the recent Romanian presidential election using the video-sharing platform.

Do people on the radical left demonstrate a mental disorder? Most people on the right roll their eyes at the hysteria and fears of the left, but what’s to be done?

Given that there were major shifts on the left in the 2024 election, is it possible that somehow sanity is breaking through? With the ongoing polarization that has burdened this country, it’s worthwhile to examine the psychological framework of leftists; both how they see themselves and how they see others. The results may also indicate whether the changes in voting behavior might continue, or whether they were situational.

A phrase that’s been coined is “Left-Wing Authoritarianism” (LWA) or Left-Wing Extremism. A report from last year shed some light on this mentality of the left:

Narcissistic individuals and those with psychopathic tendencies are more likely to strongly endorse left-wing antihierarchical aggression, according to new research published in Current Psychology.

‘Based on our results, we introduced a new contribution to the literature on dark personality traits, coining the term dark-ego-vehicle principle (DEVP),’ [researchers] Krispenz and Bertrams explained. ‘According to this principle, individuals with dark personalities – such as high narcissistic and psychopathic traits – are attracted to certain forms of political and social activism which they can use as a vehicle to satisfy their own ego-focused needs instead of actually aiming at social justice and equality.’

Other studies reflect results that differentiate between left-wing and right-wing authoritarianism:

LWA is also linked with signs of mental distress, such as symptoms of anxiety and depression. Another European study of social media users addressed how LWA may be specifically linked with perceived grievance and prejudice. LWA relates to the tendency to see sexism and White privilege in everyday life, as well as holding negative views of men. These patterns are nearly the exact opposite of existing evidence on RWA [emphasis added].

Traits of authoritarianism aren’t unique to the left, but they manifest differently…and all too often, violently:

‘An individual high in LWA might declare anyone to be ‘old fashioned’ who is opposing their own ‘progressive values,’ strive to suppress free speech to regulate the expression of right-wing beliefs in educational institutions, and even endorse the use of violence to reach their own political goals,’ the authors said.

What are some of the conclusions we might draw from a better understanding of those with LWA?

1. A good place to start is a shared understanding of the meaning of “psychopathology.” Here is one definition: “Psychopathology describes a wide array of mental health conditions, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and various personality disorders.” Another way to define psychopathology is the term “abnormal behavior.” We could explore what the word “abnormal” means, but most people would likely agree that participation in violent protests against innocent parties is not the norm.

2. LWAs may not just be ideologues. They may not even have an ideology. Instead, they are driven by their mental constructs. For example, compared to people within the RWA category, evidence exists that individuals high in LWA are more “emotionally reactive.” Also, see this:

A team of American and Dutch researchers carried out 12 studies across 74,000 people worldwide. They concluded that high LWA persons tended to:

• See threats in multiple aspects of everyday life.
• Believe the world is a just and fair place.
• Demand others be politically correct.
• Hold prejudiced views of African American and Jewish persons.
• Show mental inflexibility.

Examples of how these beliefs manifest would be seen in cancel culture, claims of systemic racism, and anti-Black and anti-Semitic beliefs and language.

3. It is nearly impossible to have a productive discussion with a person who has the LWA traits. They are overly emotional, so that rational conversation is discounted; you are likely to be accused of being a Nazi or racist. Having an intellectual discussion will also be difficult, since they are narcissistic and assume their views (progressivism) are the correct ones to have; they have all the information they need.

One last question to ask: To what degree are most leftists LWA? Probably a staggering amount.

So is waiting for the LWA to come around and approach politics rationally and maturely a foolish notion? It might be.

I think the best thing people can do is be open to discussing conflicting views, as difficult as that might be. If a person wants to talk politics with you, you can choose, before you launch the discussion, to set the parameters: Demonstrate listening by paraphrasing what the person says; maintain a tolerable “temperature” through the discussion; avoid name-calling; commit to learning from each other; and make an agreement to provide resources after the discussion.

You may not get past the first parameter, but your effort will be one small attempt toward unifying a struggling country.

Another case of gang rape involving migrants, this time in France, involving three Algerians who targeted a Polish woman inside a squatted apartment in the city of Gap.

The case involves a 42-year-old Polish woman who was visiting her daughter and a friend on Dec. 13. She stopped at the friend’s apartment in the city center, which happened to be next door to the three accused men, who prosecutors say are squatting their apartment.

“These three men, of Algerian nationality, are in an irregular situation on the territory.” Marion Lozac’hmeur, public prosecutor, specifies: “One of them had an OQTF (obligation to leave French territory) and the three were the subject of a new OQTF from the Hautes-Alpes prefecture.”

Prosecutors say that the three men gang raped the Polish mother, but there are few details about the case available. News reports indicate there were six men squatting the apartment, but so far, only three have been arrested following police interrogations. It is unclear how the women entered their apartment or what relationship she had with the men — if any — prior to the alleged gang rape.

Although the men have deportation orders, it is also unclear why the three men were not deported. However, as Remix News has previously reported, deportation rates for Algerians in France with a deportation order are an abysmal 0.2 percent. In other words, only 2 out of every 1,000 Algerians with a deportation order are ever actually sent back. This data came to light following the rape, torture and murder of 12-year-old Lola in Paris by an Algerian woman with a longstanding deportation order, a case that shocked the nation in 2022.

The three Algerian men in the case were born between 1995 and 2005. They are now in pretrial detention and face charges of gang rape, according to French publication Le Dauphine.

The Danish Government has been pushing forward with a new step in its citizenship process: Screening applicants for “anti-democratic attitudes”.

This move, announced by the Minister of Immigration and Integration on December 17, is aimed at ensuring those granted Danish citizenship align with “the country’s democratic values”.

“The government believes that it must be ensured to the greatest extent possible that those who obtain Danish citizenship actually share Danish democratic values,” the administration said in a press release.

Under current law, only the Folketing, Denmark’s parliament, can grant citizenship. To oversee the new measure, the government has proposed creating an expert committee to assess whether potential citizens meet the country’s democratic standards.

The committee would also ensure its decisions aligned with Denmark’s Constitution and international obligations.

“We’re seeing a disturbing rise in totalitarian attitudes among a small minority of Muslims here, attitudes that are simply unacceptable in Denmark,” said Kaare Dybvad Bek, Denmark’s Minister of Immigration and Integration.

The government’s statement did not explain whether the new screening body would set clear criteria for identifying “anti-democratic” views that could disqualify applicants.

“It is, of course, important that both law, technology, practice and economics are examined properly and thoroughly so that we have a good basis for making a political decision on how such a screening could possibly be organized,” said Bek.

The announcement followed an unprecedented and controversial event that took place earlier in December in the Danish parliament.

For the first time, three applicants — who met all the official requirements for Danish citizenship — were interviewed by the parliament’s Citizenship Committee.

The move sparked protests, with Alternative Party MP Helene Brydensholt, the co-deputy chair of the parliament’s Citizenship Committee, resigning in opposition to the screening.

“I am stepping down from the Citizenship Committee because a majority in the committee has chosen to conduct interviews that were called on very short notice, without proper legal principles in place, and where conventions could potentially be violated,” she said at the time.

The applicants were flagged due to their social media activity. One, for example, had publicly celebrated the death of Swedish cartoonist Lars Vilks, known for his controversial depictions of Muhammad.

Mikkel Bjørn, from the Danish People’s Party, had pointed to that as evidence showing the applicant’s values clashed with Denmark’s.

Danish Deputy Prime Minister and leader of the Liberal (Venstre) Party, Troels Lund Poulsen, has since announced plans to review “non-Western immigrant” access to early retirement pensions.

The German Last Generation (LG) climate activists’ group said it would change its name to adapt to what it called changes in the world climate.

At the same time, LG said it also intended to end its practice of blocking German roads and airports.

LG spokeswoman Carla Hinrichs told German magazine Der Spiegel on December 19 that the group was changing its name as members could “no longer be sure that we are truly the last generation before the tipping point”.

Hinrichs said the “climate catastrophe” she claimed could have been avoided when LG was founded in 2021 was now a reality.

“The situation is escalating before our eyes,” she insisted.

She said she could not yet reveal the new name for LG yet but added that saying it out loud “gave her goosebumps”.

Hinrichs also said the group would not continue blocking roads and airports for the time being.

In the past, small bands of climate activists had routinely blocked German motorways and even got onto the tarmac at major German airports to halt air traffic.

The authorities have been accused of not responding adequately to their disruptive action.

Instead, Hinrichs said, the new LG would “try to build something that better copes with the new reality”, such as, she claimed, helping old ladies in neighbourhoods who suffered in the sweltering summer heat.

In a 2023 poll, 75 per cent of respondents said they had no sympathy for the climate activists’ protests. In August 2024, Last Generation Austria announced its dissolution over a lack of success as Austrians had opted for “fossil ignorance”, an apparent reference to coal and oil usage.

Hinrichs also acknowledged that “the masses did not show up”. Pressed on popular discontent with her group’s numerous blockades, she said: “There will not be any apologies.

“Capitalism and our political system are plunging us into the abyss,” Hinrichs concluded.

The obsession of the Irish government with falsely accusing Israel of genocide is only equaled by its determination to commit an actual genocide against the Irish people.

In its latest move, the Irish government has called for watering down the definition of genocide to be able to apply it to the Jewish State, but there is no need to water down the formal definition, the “intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group”, to charge Ireland’s government with ‘self-genocide’ or ‘autogenocide’ against its own people.

In the last 20 years, Ireland, a small nation of millions, has been overwhelmed by a mass migration of 1.6 million people. In 2023, there were 54,678 births in the Republic of Ireland and 141,600 immigrants. Birth rates dropped 5% in 2023 (hovering at 1.5 births per woman well below replacement rate) but the number of immigrants grew by 31%. And will grow further.

The most popular name for boys was Jack, among Irish parents, while the most popular name among non-European immigrant parents was ‘Mohammed’.

Churches are closing across Ireland and mosques are opening in their place. There were only 400 Muslims in all of Ireland in 1991. That shot up to 19,000 in 2002 and 83,000 in 2023. 3% of Ireland’s children are Muslim now and the numbers are increasing every year.

Some Muslims are impatient with those numbers and have been trying to hurry them along.

In November, an Algerian Arab began stabbing children outside a Catholic school in Dublin. A five and six-year-old girl suffered severe injuries. When a crowd gathered to protest the latest act of Muslim violence, a ruthless police and media crackdown quickly ensued.

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, the son of an Indian father, scolded that the Irish protesters had “brought shame on Dublin, brought shame on Ireland and brought shame on their families and themselves.” No shame was brought on those who had allowed Riad Bouchaker and a legion of foreign invaders like him to occupy Ireland, slaughter and displace the native population.

Media accounts emphasized that the Algerian Muslim stabber, Bouchaker, who needed an Arabic translator in court, was really an “Irish citizen” and condemned bigotry against him.

No mention was made in the media that Gaelscoil Choláiste Mhuire, the Catholic school attended by the children, was four blocks away from the ‘Dublin Mosque’ and the headquarters of the ‘Islamic Foundation of Ireland’ which had formerly been the Donore Presbyterian Church.

And no questions were asked about what this proximity to the largest mosque in the city might have had to the attack. Such questions, according to the government, are “disinformation”.

Bouchaker was only doing to Ireland’s children what the Dublin Mosque had done to a church.

One cannot fault the current Irish government for its Jihad over Israel. It’s really treating the Jews no worse than it treats the Irish. And if it expects Israel to lie down and die rather than stand up to Islamic terrorists that is the exact expectation that it (and not just it) has for Ireland.

And perhaps the Irish government is jealous that the Israelis refuse to follow in its footsteps.

The modern rebirths of Israel and Ireland were linked by common rebellions against British rule. Isaac Herzog, the president of Israel is the grandson of the Chief Rabbi of Ireland. His father, Chaim Herzog, Israel’s sixth president, was born in Belfast. His grandfather, Yitzhak HaLevi Herzog, was both an enthusiastic Irish nationalist and Zionist. Rabbi Herzog became known as the ‘Sinn Fein Rabbi’ despite Sinn Fein being founded by Arthur Griffith who hated the fairly small Jewish community in Ireland so much that he had cheered on the Limerick pogrom.

The ideological heirs of those who prided themselves on driving the Jews out of Limerick have welcomed in Limerick’s multiple mosques. Muslims are now the second largest religion in Limerick. And history shows it will only be a matter of time until the second will become the first.

Israel and Ireland as modern states arose from 19th century nationalist movements seeking to restore the glorious past of diaspora peoples. Animated by writers, artists, linguists and poets determined to revive what many saw as dead languages and the dead past, Zionism and Celtic nationalism seemed to have much in common. But the outcomes have been very different.

Half the Jewish diaspora lives in Israel while the vast majority of the Irish diaspora still lives abroad. Israel is a technological pioneer while Ireland serves as a Big Tech tax shelter. Israel has fought and won wars against Muslim invaders while Ireland shamefully kneels to them.

The revival of Israel is an object of pride to Jews around the world, but Ireland remains little more than a tourist stop with little about its state to take pride in as a modern day nation.

And most damningly, Israel’s birth rate is double that of the Irish birth rate.

Israel could very easily have ended up like Ireland: a kleptocracy run by crooked club socialists doling out just enough social welfare to keep the population voting for them, a cafe cultural establishment whose literary and linguistic experiments had soured into a club of worthless worthies, and plenty of history for scholars to look back on but no future to look forward to.

And if the Israelis hadn’t spent the last century fighting for their lives, maybe it would have.

If Israel had been living next door to some dying socialist republics with nothing to aspire to beyond wrangling about their share of EU subsidies, maybe it would have also become a failed experiment with Labor and Likud as its Fianna Fail and Fine Gael, Amos Oz as its Joyce, and people who don’t bother with the national language, but just want to move to Europe.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) the Jews were cursed or blessed with their enemies.

Mediocre decline was never an option for Israel. More than the Jews, it is their enemies who will not allow Zionism to die out. And so Israel is in yet another war for the Irish government to deplore. The Irish were allowed to stop fighting while the Jews can never have any respite.

And so paradoxically they can also never die out.

The Jews and the Irish are both a little mad, self-destructive and prone to endless infighting. We ought to understand each other better, but true to form we do not when we most need to.

Israel is what the Irish nationalists once dreamed of before they became small petty men.

The poet warriors who go off to die for their homeland are not historical figures in Israel, they are friends and neighbors. Everyday life is a struggle for survival against enemies out to kill you. Each child born is a triumph. Keeping a shop going while serving in the war is heroic. And so everyone takes a break from the infighting and pulls together because life means something.

Ireland once had that. It no longer does. And by the time it does again, it may be too late.

Where the Irish government allows Arab Muslim invaders to murder their children, the Israelis refuse. The Irish government calls this genocide: the Israelis call it survival. The Irish nationalists have sold out their homeland and their people, and resent those who won’t.

A generation hence the Israelis will have sons in their homeland while the sons of Ireland will be everywhere but in Dublin, mourning a homeland lost once again to foreign invaders and traitors.

Ireland is facing its own genocide. And few dare to talk about it. In Ireland, hating the Jews is safe, but opposing Muslims is a crime. Israel is not Ireland’s problem: instead it ought to be Ireland’s model. And yet accuse Israel of genocide and you’re a national treasure, but accuse the Irish government of genocide and you’ll face smear campaigns and criminal charges.

There’s a genocide problem in Ireland. The blood of Irish children stains a nation. Israel’s worst enemies are outside it, but Ireland’s worst enemies are inside its own government.

An Afghan migrant has been sentenced to eight years in prison for brutally beating a 16-year-old Austrian boy with a belt, with the belt buckle spike puncturing the teen’s skull so deeply that it nearly killed him. The Afghan man was well known to police for various crimes, including sexually harassing teen girls near the city’s lake, but was never deported — instead he was cared for by a Christian charity.

During the incident in June of this year, the 35-year-old Afghan asylum seeker and two 16-year-olds became embroiled in a dispute in the city of Horn in the town square. The two boys allegedly wanted to throw away a bag laying on the ground next to the Afghan man, but the latter became furious because the bag allegedly still contained his food.

The dispute escalated from there, with the Afghan man removing his belt, at which point he began attacking the boys with it. Although one 16-year-old only suffered slight injuries, the Afghan’s belt buckle spike punctured the other boy’s skull, digging 2.5 centimeters deep, which produced a life-threatening injury. The teen had to be airlifted by an emergency helicopter took him to the university hospital in St. Pölten, where the victim underwent emergency surgery, according to a report from Austrian newspaper Heute.

A 53-year-old man courageously intervened, who tried to stop the man from attacking the teens, and he also suffered serious injuries.

Christian W. screamed at the attacker to clam down, but the attacker either did not want or could not understand. Instead, he attacked Christian W. as well.

“Come on, take your foot off the gas,” he shouted at his attacker. Christian W. suffered a broken collarbone, numerous bruises and cuts from the belt, and required stitches on his ear in the hospital.

In many cases, psychiatrists are quick to diagnose mental illness, which results in migrants avoiding jail time. In this case, the man was placed in a “forensic therapeutic center” because he had a “long-term mental disorder, namely a combined personality disorder with narcissistic, antisocial and emotionally unstable traits to a serious extent.”

On Tuesday, the man was sentenced to eight years in prison in the Krems regional court for serious intentional bodily harm, damage to property, and resisting arrest.

He previously had convictions for bodily harm and attempted coercion, and had served months in prison. He also attacked prison staff by biting, kicking, and punching them, resulting in additional charges.

In another incident, he was arrested for sexually harassing two girls near a lake in Horn. During the incident, he took photos of the girls with his phone, which were recovered by the police.

The man claims to not know his exact date of birth and has no documentation. The judge determined he had failed to make positive contributions to society since he arrived in Austria. He lived on social benefits, was unemployed, and was cared for by the Catholic charity Charitas.

Christian W. and the 16-year-old victim now belong to the long line of victims throughout Europe who are attacked on a daily basis, both physically and sexually. In many cases, teens are losing their lives to criminal migrants who authorities refuse to deport.

Foreigners make up an overwhelmingly disproportionate share of Austria’s prison population, and it is no surprise. They have been involved in some of the most heinous crimes in past years, including unbelievable gang rapes and high-profile murders. To illustrate just one case, 19 migrants are standing trial for raping a 12-year-old Austrian girl over the course of months in Vienna.

It is not just crime either, but Austria’s school, healthcare and social systems are overwhelmed due to mass immigration.

Two of the four figures in the nativity scene set up in front of Metz station have been vandalised and their heads cut off, the city council revealed on Tuesday. The city council has already replaced them and says an investigation is underway to find the perpetrators. (…)
