Czech Republic: 18-year-old girl raped in the street and woman stabbed by the same person on New Year’s Eve – A 20-year-old Afghan migrant arrested

The CID in Karlovy Vary had to deal with two violent crimes during New Year’s Eve.

An Afghan stabbed a woman in the chest and stomach. He then allegedly attacked and raped an 18-year-old girl.
The police in Karlovy Vary had a difficult New Year’s Eve. They received 196 calls on the emergency number, about 70 more than on previous New Year’s Eve celebrations. “The most serious report came shortly after three in the morning. A violent crime occurred in Karlovy Vary in which one person was seriously injured. The suspect was arrested by the police within a few dozen minutes,” said police spokesman Jakub Kopřiva. The knife attack and the subsequent alleged rape must be blamed on the same perpetrator. The Crime News Service was able to find out that it was a 20-year-old Afghan who had come to the Czech Republic from Germany. Both crimes are said to have taken place near the railway station in Karlovy Vary. However, the police have not yet released any further information on the ongoing investigation. The stabbed woman was treated in hospital. Novinky.cz

In Antarctica, all their precautions were for nothing

By Andrea Widburg

In July 2021, we published an essay from an “Anonymous Antarctican” describing the insane restrictions placed on people in the middle of nowhere, all in an effort to avoid COVID. Now, we’re getting a reminder that, in the words of the old margarine commercial, “you can’t fool Mother Nature.” It turns out that all those crazy precautions were for nothing. A similarly situated station hosted a virgin population of people who had never had COVID, and two-thirds of them caught it, just as everyone will eventually.

The July American Thinker article, entitled “Anti-COVID measures in an Antarctic research station,” described how the McMurdo Station, 800 miles north of the South Pole, had instituted incredibly repressive rules, all based on magical, not scientific, thinking:

PAE-ASC (Antarctica Support Contract) along with the NSF (National Science Foundation) then implemented a COVID screening process to anyone going to the ice.  This process included flying to San Francisco and staying in a managed hotel from which you could not leave the grounds.  During that time, a negative COVID test was required to process further to Christchurch, New Zealand.  The program booked a private charter flight to reduce COVID contact.  Upon arrival in Christchurch, per N.Z. government regulations, any person arriving from outside the country was required to stay in a government-managed isolation facility for two weeks and required two negative COVID tests, one per week, before being released.

But it was still not over yet; once departing the N.Z. government isolation facility, we take a private van to another managed isolation hotel.  During this trip, masking and social distancing are required at all times — as it was throughout the whole process.

Due to unpredictable weather patterns, delays can be anywhere from a few days to several weeks, and —  you guessed it — you cannot leave your hotel at all.  Mind you, N.Z. has zero COVID cases.

Those attenuated and pointless travel restrictions, which meant a month of isolation and myriad COVID tests (which we now know can’t distinguish COVID from the flu) were just the beginning. Once at the station, the people were under a red-yellow-green-blue alert season, which prescribed various levels of social distancing and masking—in a small working and living area:

If it is green and a plane arrives, we go to level yellow for one week.  Mask and social distance at all times during work and personal hours.  At the end of a long day, you can’t wait to get back to your room.  Oh, wait — you have roommates, too!  How can you implement these rules and yet have everyone live together?

Last summer season, everyone had his own room, but this is changing this season as the NSF is ramping up production.  But what happens if there are multiple planes in one week, or one arrives on day 7 from the last one?  Well, you guessed it: it all starts over again.  That means depending on flight schedule, you will be in “level yellow” for months.  Sounds like so much fun.

Despite all these extreme precautions, which now include requiring that everyone coming to the station must be vaccinated, COVID came to Antarctica. The COVID-infected station is not the one described above, but the protocols sound much the same:

Two thirds of the staff based at Belgium’s Princess Elisabeth Polar Station have caught the Omicron variant, according to Le Soir newspaper. All staff passed multiple PCR tests, quarantining, and being fully vaccinated with one having received a booster shot.

Before leaving for the station, they had a PCR test two hours prior to a flight to South Africa.

In South Africa they then quarantined for ten days before taking another PCR test.

They were also tested before leaving Cape Town for Antarctica and also a final one five days after arrival.

Significantly, even though people with Omicron were evacuated, others still tested positive. However, because it’s Omicron, “it’s not thought that any of the Belgian’s [sic] have experienced severe symptoms.” And let me just say again that they’re all vaccinated.

The “vaccinations” don’t prevent COVID nor do the boosters. For vulnerable people, shots may make less intense those COVID strains other than Omicron. With Omicron, there is no “intense.” You get it, you’re not very sick, and with luck, you’re truly immune and that’s the end of the Chinese Communist Party’s viral gift to the world.

It’s time for us to end the COVID charade. It’s a nasty flu, with the main problem being that our federal government refuses to allow doctors to treat it at any time before patients are at death’s door. With treatment, I suspect deaths would be uncommon. And as the Antarctica experience shows, with Omicron, we’ll all get it and pass through the fire unscathed.

Düsseldorf: Healthy riot squad officer suddenly collapses and dies

A 53-year-old police officer died on New Year’s Eve in Düsseldorf. He belonged to a unit of riot police from the Ruhr area. There has been no news on and no interest in his vaccination status.

“In the midst of the heavy workload at the turn of the year, the officers’ colleagues received the sad news from the hospital,” reported a police spokesman on request. They confirmed that he had not been assaulted or attacked and no outside force had been responsible for his sudden inexplicable death.

The cause of death is currently assumed to have been an “medical emergency“, the police said. “When he collapsed, he had not suffered from anything, but had been, as far as we know, healthy to be deployed,” said a spokesman.

Overall, the spokesman concluded that the police operation at the end of the year was more like a “normal weekend in the old town”. Fireworks were banned in the old town due to the Corona pandemic.

In Montbéliard, Département Doubs, France, the most common given names in 2021 are: Hamza (1st), Mohamed (2nd), Amir (3rd) and Naël (4th) for boys; Selma (1st) and Aïssa (2nd) for girls

In 2021, Montbéliard welcomed 281 new little inhabitants. More births were registered there than in 2020 (245), with a similar range of first names. Hamza, Mohamed, Naël, Côme, Emma and Gabin are at the top.

This is good news. In Montbéliard, the birth rate is rising. During 2021, 281 births were reported at the City Hall of the City of Princes, an increase compared to 2020 (245) after a good year in 2019 (320).

Happy events that make us forget the health crisis and the outbreak of the epidemic. With regard to the first names, one observation can be made: The parents voted for the same first names that were given last year.

Also at the top of the podium is the male Hamza (6), which in the Muslim religion is the uncle of the Prophet and means “strong and powerful”. In second place is Mohamed (5), followed by Amir and Naël (3). The latter has a double origin, Arabic and Breton. It can be a short form of Gwenaël (the white angel) or Natanaël.

Among the girls, Selma (double origin, Arabic and Germanic), symbolising peace and divine protection, tops the list along with Aïssa and Amélia. L’Est Républicain

EU politician would like to see faces of BioNtech founders on banknotes

The face of Uğur Şahin, Chief Executive Officer, BioNTech, and his sponsor Bill Gates on a Euro note. Wikipedia

The European Central Bank could adorn its banknotes with the mugs of two Turkish vaccine producers. The proposal has come from the EU Parliament. The faces of the founders of BioNtech must be on the notes, said a German politician.

The European Central Bank (ECB) has received a suggestion from the EU Parliament for fresh designs on its legal tender from the FDP politician Moritz Körner. He has called for the two BioNtech founders Ugur Sahin and Özlem Türeci – sponsored by Bill Gates – to be pictured on one of the banknotes.

“Important European personalities” such as the founding couple of the pharmaceutical company should be printed on the new banknotes, the member of the European Parliament told German weekly Welt am Sonntag. Their work allegedly “saved the lives of millions of Europeans“. He offered no evidence for this lofty claim, perhaps because none exist.

The fawning Körner added: “Their lives are an impressive story of integration, advancement, entrepreneurship, academic excellence and the potential of an open immigration society.” Until about 2018 this company had recorded neither successes nor any profits, but that changed suddenly with the appearance of Sahin at the World Health Summit together with Bill Gates, Angela Merkel and WHO boss Tedros and the €50 million gift from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

In the wake of the Corona pandemic, the Mainz vaccine manufacturer BioNtech managed to develop an approved vaccine against Covid-19 based on the so-called mRNA technology, he said. But it could also be an indictment rather than a promotion. How did they know that a pandemic was about to sweep across the globe?

Some twenty years after the introduction of the Euro, the European Central Bank has started a process of redesigning the banknotes. Citizens have been invited to share their thoughts on this. It will take years, however, before there these revised notes are released into circulation. In 2024, the Governing Council will decide on the production of new banknotes and when they will be released, according to dpa.

All qualifications are equal

Meanwhile, an editor of the German business daily WirtschaftsWoche has been busy manufacturing consent for a multicultural society, soon to be reflected on the banknotes: “Germany must finally become a country of immigration!”

Sophie Crocoll, like Moritz Körner, also fantasizes about skilled workers welcomed into the country in as large a number as possible in order to prevent Germany’s economic strength from diminishing. Turks, Africans and Arabs should pay for the pensions of the baby boomers who will be exiting the labor market in the coming years.

Any well-informed person who is reasonably familiar with the reality of German immigration policy, however, will be alarmed at the sheer stupidity of Crocoll’s notion of a “skilled worker”.

She argues that the central problem is the fact that the professional qualifications of many immigrants are not recognized in Germany.

But if the car dealer from Rabat has been unable to work in Germany as a mechatronics technician and the medicine man from Burkina Faso as a surgeon, it may be because their qualifications are lacking. Crocoll dismisses such distinctions. The “skilled workers” who have not turned their poverty-ridden homelands into thriving economic landscapes, will somehow manage to do so in Germany according to her.

The truth is that Germany’s immigration policy has been hinged only on one single issue: the generous German social system. It attracts people who make a living from government benefits and there are several million of them worldwide willing to drown in the Mediterranean for these hand-outs.
