Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and France’s National Rally leader Marine Le Pen expressed satisfaction on Saturday after the coalition government of new Italian Premier Giorgia Meloni, the leader of the right-wing Brothers of Italy (FdI) party, was sworn in.
“Congratulations @GiorgiaMeloni on the formation of your government,” Oraban said via Twitter in a post featuring a photo of him with Meloni.
“Big day for the European Right! Le Pen congratulated both Meloni and Deputy Premier and Infrastructure Minister Matteo Salvini, the leader of the right-wing League.
“Patriots are coming to power everywhere in Europe and with them this Europe of nations that we wish for,” she said in a tweet.
