The details of the brawl that led to the death of 15-year-old Matisse, who was stabbed to death in Châteauroux (Indre) on Saturday, are now emerging. According to the initial findings of the investigation, the two teenagers, who were both travelling on foot, allegedly got into an argument on a public street.
In a second phase, the teenager suspected of being the perpetrator is said to have returned with his mother in the car before stabbing Matisse, according to Le Parisien. However, after these stabbings, the accused’s mother allegedly slapped Matisse, as was also reported.
The alleged perpetrator, a minor Afghan of the same age as the victim, and his mother were taken into police custody on Saturday and are to be presented to the criminal investigation committee on Monday afternoon. As we reported earlier, the suspect, who is already known to the judiciary, was already charged with “aggravated theft and use of force” in another case on April 22.
