James Bond is a British white male. He is not female, black, asian (UK slang for Muslim) or trans. I am sure that an organization as big as MI6 would have many workers that do what must be done if Bond has been captured, is at home sick with covid 19, is suffering from depression or whatever keeps him away from his duties. There are past movies where Bond and other people like 006, M etc. interacted. Why can’t there be a situation where there could be a 00X that happens to be female or whatever. And please DON’T put the wokeness in a Bond movie. It is not realistic to have lgbtq characters. It’s like in your day to day life you don’t see a single obviously lgbtq person and if you had Gods powers and simply added two gay guys kissing on the bus even though in real life you never see this. Not that there aren’t any lgbtq people in society but most of them are hypocrites because they live in the closet whilst telling everybody that they are proud to be gay etc. They are only proud to be gay when there are 100 gay people in a night club or at some gay pride event and they can be part of the herd, they are not proud to be gay with their lover on the bus, at the grocery store etc. Do not mistake my words for anti lgbtq because they are not, I am simply pointing out the problem of taking a classic character and changing it in a way that is fake to support values and a way of life that the majority of society and the viewers of this movie do not subscribe to. Almost nobody who watches Bond wants a gay Bond or a female Bond etc. That however doesn’t that mean we wouldn’t watch a movie about one of Bond’s co workers who happens to be black or female and enjoy it just as much as a 007 movie.
