On Friday afternoon July 29, 2022, a transsexual woman was attacked by unknown persons during a walk in Bremen. Three men allegedly spat at her, beat her and sprayed her with irritant gas.
According to the Bremen police, the 40-year-old woman was walking with her dog and two goats on Waller Street in Walle. According to her own statements, she was then lightly touched by a passing car. The driver got out of the car and insulted and threatened her for unknown reasons. The 40-year-old then went on her way and the two parties went their separate ways.
At the street “Auf den Barken”, the woman had again encountered the driver, who was now accompanied by two young men. “According to her own statements, the trans woman was spat at, hit and grabbed on the chest by the trio,” the officers said in their police report. After the car driver sprayed her with irritant gas, the attackers fled in the car and on two e-scooters. The 40-year-old woman from Bremen was treated by paramedics on the spot.
