According to the owner, both men were first-time visitors to the club and were members of the last two groups to leave the club. There had been no altercations between the pair earlier in the night to alert security staff, he insisted.
Kylian Binard, a rising star in the boxing world and champion of Normandy, had reportedly been enjoying a night out when the altercation unfolded. Despite immediate attempts to save his life, including efforts by the nightclub managerâs companion, Binard died at the scene.

Surveillance footage from the nightclub has been seized to assist in determining the exact circumstances leading to the attack.
Bekaddour remains in police custody as authorities continue their inquiries.
