She testified as a witness on December 7. Thaïs d’Escufon, spokesperson for the Génération identitaire association, which was dissolved in March this year, complained to Valeurs actuelles that she had suffered a sexual assault in her flat in Lyon after being followed in the street. According to the female influencer, the perpetrator was a man around 30 years old who claimed to be “Tunisian”. It was an attack that drew the attention of Mila, among others, on social media. On Friday December 10, she admitted that “as a woman” she had never been “sexually assaulted on the street by a white man”. Mila also reminded on her Twitter account, “Being a woman in France today means being harassed on the street every day.” The young woman thus supports Thaïs d’Escufon’s statement, but reminds us that she is “far from sharing Thaïs’ ideas, which are often shocking to her”. In another post, Mila added: “And to name the origin of the attackers, even though they were not chosen, is to be supposedly racist…”.
Thaïs d’Escufon would have been followed to her accommodation. She would not have heard her attacker because she was wearing headphones on her ears. The attacker went with her into the flat and then prevented her from leaving. The man, who was about 1.90 m tall, allegedly tried to kiss her and force her to perform oral sex. Thaïs d’Escufon unsurprisingly refused and after about 30 minutes face to face managed to get the man to leave. The influencer filed a complaint against an unknown person after the incidents.
