In the US, the privileging of sexual minorities compared to the “normal” rest of the population is making great strides. Being “non-binary” is a now also a lucrative choice: An amount of $1000 will be paid every month to each individual who identify as a transgender American.
Plans are currently on the table in Palm Springs, California, among others, that would allow transgender and other “non-binary” residents to receive a universal basic income if they fall below a certain poverty line.
“Transgender residents in Palm Springs, Calif., can receive a basic income of up to $900 a month just for identifying as transgender or nonbinary — with no strings attached,” Fox News reported. A $200 000 budget will be set aside for the new pilot program following a unanimous vote by the Palm Springs City Council earlier.
The program, conducted in partnership with DAP Health and Queer Works, fundamentally views transgender and “non-binary” people as “particularly vulnerable to unemployment, homelessness, assault and discrimination”.
The Palm Beach pilot program is expected to be replicated in other cities including Stockton, Los Angeles and San Francisco. There, too, residents who are particularly “at risk” are to be offered an additional income. The beneficiaries will receive $1000 every month for three years – lifting the prospects of a compliant LGBTQ clientele.
American citizens will also be able to select X as their gender marker on their passport starting on Monday April 11 in honor of “Transgender Day of Visibility”. The US Justice Department meanwhile warned Republican-controlled states against passing legislation that would limit access for youths seeking “gender-affirming treatments”. But the Democrats are fighting an uphill battle, defending an unpopular issue.
Republicans legislatures bank on dissent
Republican legislators have proposed at least 325 bills so far this year, with about 130 targeting transgender rights specifically. Last year, 268 were introduced, a previous record. A total of 27 made it into law in 2021.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott ordered the state’s Department of Family Protective Services (DFPS) to investigate parents who allow their children to have gender-altering treatments, saying that providing such treatment amounted to abuse.
In Florida, the House of Representatives passed a bill in February to prohibit “classroom discussion about sexual orientation or gender identity” in the state’s primary schools. In addition to the very popular “Don’t Say Gay” bill in Florida, 15 other bills in eight US states that would limit speech about LGBTQ identities in classrooms are being considered.native advertising
At least three states (Georgia, Louisiana and Ohio) passed similar bills last year — commonly referred to as “no promo homo” laws which allow parents to refuse lessons that mentions sexual orientation or gender identity.
Alabama Governor Kay Ivey signed into law bills blocking transgender youth from gender-affirming medical treatment as well as from participating on sports teams or using school restrooms that don’t match their assigned sex at birth.
Trump backs woke candidate for Senate race
Former President Donald Trump, supposedly a conservative, has meanwhile endorsed Dr. Mehmet Oz in Pennsylvania’s Senate race. But the celebrity TV doctor regularly promotes the left’s woke transgender agenda, also for small children.
Trump said his endorsement of Oz is “all about winning elections in order to stop the Radical Left maniacs from destroying our country”.
Trump noted in a statement: “The Great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has a tremendous opportunity to Save America by electing the brilliant and well-known Dr. Mehmet Oz for the United States Senate. I have known Dr. Oz for many years, as have many others, even if only through his very successful television show.”
He added: “Women, in particular, are drawn to Dr. Oz for his advice and counsel. I have seen this many times over the years. They know him, believe in him, and trust him.”
Trump concluded. “Good luck, Dr. Oz. our country needs you!”
