Until yesterday, September 27, 8 p.m., four petitions for a referendum could be supported. Two of them had a certain explosiveness, as they demanded the diametrically opposite.
Clear message to politicians
There was a petition for a referendum entitled “Compulsory vaccination: YES if necessary” and at the same time a petition for a referendum entitled “Compulsory vaccination: Strictly NO”.
With the official final result it is clear: The initiative FOR compulsory vaccination failed with 65,729 signatures, the initiative AGAINST compulsory vaccination was successful with 269,391 and clearly outperformed the vaccination fanatics.
Lobbyists put in their place
The support of Medical Association President Thomas Szekeres, who has already fancied compulsory vaccination, for the time being in the health sector, was of no use.
Now he has got the answer from the population. This compulsory vaccination “no” petition came 29th out of 57 petitions for a referendum so far, the vaccination advocates 53rd. The compulsory vaccination “yes” petition is one of only ten petitions for a referendum that failed to clear the necessary 100,000 threshold. What an embarrassment for the vaccination lobbyists.
