An Afghan (24) who was staying in his ex-girlfriend’s flat despite a restraining order triggered a police operation in the Favoriten district of Vienna. The aggressive man attacked and injured the three officers during his arrest.
Despite a restraining order, an Afghan (24) stayed in the flat of his ex-girlfriend of the same age in the Favoriten district of Vienna on Thursday evening. She then alerted the police. The arriving officers demanded that the man leave the property. However, the man only insulted the three police officers – he spat in the face of one of them and tried to hit one of the police officers in the face. Thereupon the suspect was temporarily arrested – against which he also resisted, injuring the three officers. One of the men was subsequently unable to continue his duties.
